Class vs Crass: A History of First Ladies
Lou Hoover was proud of her country her entire life, not just when she was being lavished attention as First Lady, or when her husband was winning presidential primaries and elected office. Lou applied her intellect towards learning Latin and Mandarin Chinese, which served her well as a representative of the United States abroad in China while her husband was posted there in foreign service.
The current First Lady, Michelle Obama, despite being lavished every opportunity and award imaginable, never bothered to learn a foreign language (though she and her husband both frequently chastise the majority of Americans for not speaking a second language). Quick to tell others their souls are broken and in need of repair by her husband, Michelle is happy only when given a platform to rail against the country all of her First Lady predecessors have loved with all their hearts.

Can someone clear up a little mystery for us?
A comment yesterday said we were mentioned on Rush Limbaugh on Friday, but it was more of a riddle than anything. They said, “Rush talked about you today “, but that was it. We loved getting the heads-up, but would like to stress that talking in riddles is more than a little exasperating. It’s been a week from Hell for us.We’re still dealing with the Left’s attacks, and still trying to figure out how to fight back effectively. As much as we love mysteries (ooh, Jessica Fletcher!), we’d love it if people would tell us exactly what Rush said if he was talking about us.
We love Rush.
We think it’s hilarious he thinks we’re “babes”. We might not always agree with the man, but we respect and admire him, and think he’s a national treasure. Whenever he talks about us is an absolute honor and delight.
So, does anyone know what he said? We don’t have a chance to listen to his show because we are busy all day, but would love a recap. Being as specific as possible in posts to us is really helpful, becuase then we know exactly what you are talking about and don’t have to put on our deestalker hats and break out the magnifying lenses to figure out the clues.

Here are today’s Team Action Items. There is absolutely no formality with these team assignments. If you want to participate in Action Items, just pick a team and do something to further that team’s item for the day. The way we are structuring this is to keep the Team colors coordinated with certain activities — Red = phone calls/letter writing/faxing, etc.; Blue = Blogging, pasting links, research, distribution of information; Green = fundraising (either FOR a candidate, or working to convince donors to stop contributing to Liberals); Gold = Psy-Ops (hitting the Left with their own medicine, using creative subversion to goad them into making mistakes, overplaying their hand, and destroying themselves).
Report back on this thread any luck that you have on your team. This is a new process for us, to actually write down each day the kind of things we do ourselves on a regular basis, without ever really telling most of you out there. We’ve always assumed people just do these things on their own, but now we understand there’s a need for some direction — for people who want to get involved, get off their butts and do something, but who need a focus.
Well, the four of us here will each come up with a Team idea each day. Kevin leads the Red Team, Sebastian takes Blue, Robby is in charge of Green, and Panda will have at it with Gold (because if anyone can think outside the box and get into the mind of crazies, it’s Panda).
Because we are children of the 80s, we can’t help getting a Captain Planet vibe off this, so think of each Team as having its own special powers, which we hope will grow the more people participate in this. You can hit every team assignment if you want, or just pick one to focus on. It’s going to be a lot of work. For us, personally, it means rethinking how we do things around here, getting more organized, and fleshing out longterm plans and goals for our activism. It also means recruiting all of you in a way that harnesses ALL of your unique strengths. We need a way to tap into all of that if we are going to defeat the Left once and for all, as a ragtag band of moderates, conservatives, and independents who will increasingly hone our skills to the point that we become better at all of this than any of the George Soros and DNC paid trolls and goblins ever were.
We can beat them at their own game, but only if we work hard and practice our skills every day. The Red, Blue, Green, and Gold is an evolving, experimental project. It lives and dies with your feedback and energy. We can commit to providing a strategic framework, and will take ownership of our individual teams, but we need your help to make them effective.

Red Team: Focus on Evan Bayh today. He’s the critical voice in Democrat circles right now. Democrats respect Bayh, and the position he’s in, in Indiana. We personally really like Bayh, and got to talk to him up close many times when he was campaigning for Hillary Clinton in 2008. Bayh, more than anyone, should have stood up in the week before Christmas and told Reid and the other Liberals that they should not have handled Healthcare bills the way they did, trying to ram things through the Senate in the dead of night, in total secret. It is now time for Evan Bayh to redeem himself, or risk alienating everyone who supported him, guaranteeing we campaign for the Republican in the Senate race this coming November. Either Bayh steps up and becomes a voice of reason and caution that is desperately needed in the Senate right now, or he should be defeated with the rest of the Democrats up for re-election this year. It’s time the Dems who claim they are Moderates and Centrists to PROVE IT, and pull the party back to the center, exerting moderation. Write to Bayh, call him, email him, fax him. Make sure he understands this is his moment to show leadership, raise his voice louder than Harry Reid’s, and challenge the Liberals who are trying to drive this country into the ground.

BLUE TEAM: Focus on researching George Soros and his Secretaries of State Project, which we started working on yesterday. We need to wake America up in terms of what Soros is up to, and the first step towards that is mapping out his plans for ourselves and getting our own heads into the game figuring out what we can do to stop him. Start collecting as much information for us as possible so we can build a timeline of what Soros has been doing. Let’s get our creative types involved to put this data into graphics people can easily understand. Can we put up a chart with various disasters like the September 2008 economic crash and show what Soros was doing at that time? Middle America needs to know who this man is, just as Middle Earth needed to understand the danger of Sauron. If we can rally people against Soros, and then reveal all the links Soros has to the Liberals he installed in office, we can start to bring him down. So, get on that research, start looking at that Secretaries of State Project, and let’s start creating images we can use to get people to understand this better.

GREEN TEAM: If we want to defeat Liberals in 2010 and 2012, we need to teach all of you everything we know about fundraising. There will be times, like with Scott Brown, where we need to collectively money bomb and raise funds for a candidate offensively. But, the majority of our time should be spent cutting off the funding sources to the Left. This is something we have never seen Moderates and Conservatives do, but it’s one of the prime Alinsky Methods the Left employs. If the Left wants to hurt you, they do things to take away your job, drain your funds, make you unemployable and destitute, and thus remove you as an obstacle. We need to use these methods against the Left, by convincing the major donors to Liberals to stop giving them any more money. Today, let’s focus on Claire McCaskill, one of our worst Senators. Let’s figure out where her campaign money comes from — who is donating to her? Use FEC records to figure this out. The individuals who consistently bundle for her or contribute the maximum under law are the ones we want to look at. Corporations are less inclined to listen to the public than private individuals are. If people who host large fundraisers for McCaskill suddenly start receiving thousands of letters a day telling them (politely) to stop, and noting what a terrible Senator McCaskill is, then they will stop holding those fundraisers for her. These people don’t want what they are doing to be made public, and do not want to receive mail from the public because they are raising money for McCaskill. For corporations, we need to make it know that every dollar spent buying their products or services is money going to McCaskill. So, people need to stop doing that. If we target key Liberals who the White House listens to, and who are known to talk to other Senators, and who react poorly to any crisis (like McCaskill), then rattling their fundraising operations will scare the absolute living daylights out of them.

Gold Team: The Left needs to be encouraged to keep pushing Liberals right off the cliff. Essentially, the Gold Team needs to creatively convince the Left to keep running in the opposite direction of what Americans actually want. Tell them to ignore Massachusetts as a fluke and put all the blame on Martha Coakley’s terrible campaign. Tell them the reason voters are mad is because Liberals aren’t liberal enough. Prode and poke them into pushing the White House to be more Liberal, more out of touch with reality. It’s like giving Liza Minnelli another martini, and another after that, or dropping off more sandwiches to Oprah. Don’t argue with them. Don’t discourage them. ENCOURAGE them to be more and more crazy and out of touch.
Question of the Day: Are Democrats really stupid enough to try to ram through Healthcare Rationing via "reconciliation"?
There were conflicting reports yesterday whether Nancy Pelosi was stupid enough to actually think she could ram through Healthcare Rationing via “reconciliation” — a process where the House would just accept the Senate bill, without voting on it again, using housekeeping methods reserved for budget matters to force through the monstrous, pork-laden, unconstitutional Healthcare Rationing bill. Against the public’s will.
Are Democrats that stupid?
What will Republicans do if this is attempted?
What will happen to every Democrat in office if Pelosi goes through with this?
Our take on this is that Pelosi knows she won’t be Speaker after 2010. Even if, by some miracle, Democrats hold Congress, Pelosi will be asked to step aside. She can say it’s for health reasons if she wants. But, she and Reid will no longer be in leadership positions by this time next year. That’s a very good thing for this country, if not for the Republican party politically. Reid and Pelosi are 2/3 of Democrats’ own worst enemy (with the rest of that albatross sitting in the White House, dragging down any candidate he comes within 100 feet of).
Pelosi reminds us of a drunk, suffering from liver poisoning, insisting upon finishing that last bottle of scotch, “Because I paid for it!”, and because “I’m going to die anyway, so I might as well die drunk!”.
Pelosi knows she’s toast…so why not take the whole country down with her?
In her mind, she probably figures getting this monstrosity passed earns her a place in history books. Well, no matter what happens, she technically already has THAT…she was the first female Speake, and on many lists, she’s the worst Speaker we’ve ever had. So, children will be learning about (or pointing and laughing at) her for centuries to come.
There’s no need for her to tank the country to stroke her own ego.
But, we bet she’s going to try to do this. We’ve talked to her in person, and know just how bright she is. There’s only about a minute’s worth of sense in her head, and after that it’s just babble and nonsense, soaked in crazy.

The Left is now calling for the death of actor Scott Baio, because he posted an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama on Twitter. To our knowledge, there are no flattering photos of our “fashion icon” current FLOTUS. The only fault for that is her own. So, posting any photo of her on Twitters seems to be grounds for a fatwa upon the infidels who do not worship at the altar of ‘The One”.
Who does this sound like?
It sounds like Muslims, and the way they perceive anything and everything as an affront to Islam worthy of death.
Liberals brand someone a RAAACIST! for daring to challenge the current administration on anything. Muslims call people infidels and declare all-out war on them for posting cartoons depicting Muhammad, or anything else they believe insults Islam.
Is it any wonder that Liberals are the strongest defenders of Islamic terrorists.
It makes perfect sense, since both groups use the same tactics, are about the same amount of crazy, and work from the Alinsky playbook to attack, try to kill, and viciously malign anyone they perceive opposes them.
Scott Baio? Really? SCOTT BAIO is worthy of a Liberal fatwa?
They put a fatwa out on us. Then Scott Baio. Who’s next? Chad Allen? The girl who played Punky Brewster? Random people from Burger King commercials?
Liberals only hurt themselves with stuff like this. Every day, more moderates and regular Americans wake up and realize just how vile the Left is…and this will, we promise you, lead to Librals being banished from office for the next 30 years.

Here are some great articles from Robin in Berkley, who, like us, supported Hillary Clinton for president and was attacked ruthlessly by the Left for that. She, too, was called a RAAACIST! for not supporting Dr. Utopia. She, like us, has been attacked for backing Sarah Palin. The Left coordinates these attacks. It can’t be a coincidence that all of these different people, across the country, are all being attacked in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. The Left seems to be working off a checklist:
(1) Call them a RAAACIST!
(2) Ruin their business, get them fired, make them lose their jobs so they have no money
(3) Make them unemployable by calling them a RAAACIST over and over again to fill up Google searches on their names with these attacks
(4) Threaten to kill them, kill their families, set fire to their homes, mutilate their animals, etc.
(5) Say they hope the victim gets AIDS and dies
Number five is what we typically get every day around here. It’s time all of us stop taking this stuff lying down, and instead call the Left out on its tactics. If “progressivism” is so wonderful, then why do its proponents have to behave like Brown Shirts, the way that they do?

For our entire lives, the Left has dominated with tactics like this — using ridicule, multimedia platforms, and creativity to get their message across.
Seeing these same tricks used against them is not only a lot of fun — but it’s educational too.
Quincy Jones organizing a We Are the World remake for Haiti relief
This is great news — Quincy Jones and Lionel Ritchie are organizing a remake of “We Are the World”, to aid Haiti Relief efforts.
Sting, Fergie, Alicia Keyes, Justin Timberlake, Usher, and scores more are being asked to stay an extra day after the Grammys and record the song at the Kodak Theater.
Here’s hoping original members of “We Are the World”, like the fabulous Cyndi Lauper, are invited to return as well.
This has the potential to be monumentally cool — and could help Haiti Relief efforts immensely.
Kudos to Jones and Ritchie for stepping up in a way that we believe will resonate immediately across the country.

“We Are the World” was also the inspiration for our favorite episodes of Jem, namely the two-parter, “Jem Jam”, where Jem and the Holograms host all the famous rock stars in their cartoon universe to do a benefit concert for the Starlight Foundation. Jem, for the uninitiated, is truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous.

Museum of Science & Industry White House model chock full o'crazy
The Zeif Family model of the White House is chock full of propaganda and craziness
Today, we took a much-needed break from the Internets and went down to the Museum of Science & Industry here in Chicago to see the White House model they have on display through February: it’s a to-scale miniature, with cutaways into most of the rooms. Apparently, the Zeif Family, who made and maintains this model, travels to the White House in each administration, measures any changes that were made, and recreates the interior of the White House to exacting detail. They’ve been doing this since the Kennedy Administration.
What disturbs us is that, if the model is really exact in all details, the actual White House is chock full of crazy currently.
In the Zeif model, the East and West wings of the White House are plastered with propaganda. Inside all the offices, there are GIANT photos of the current First Family, the likes of which we’d expect to see in Pyongyang or the old presidential palaces in Baghdad, before the Husseins were ousted. They aren’t even particularly good pictures — like things cut out of People magazine or some other propaganda piece run on the Utopias.
It’s just strange that the Zeifs took the time to recreate everything else in such painstaking detail, but then plaster the interior of the East and West wings (but not the original White House itself), with giant images of Dr. Utopia and his “fashion icon” wife. Unless the REAL East and West wings really are covered in this garbage.
The miniature computer screens in the offices are all functional, and play tiny propaganda reels praising the Utopias. The White House cinema, located in the collonade between the White House and the East Wing, also plays a DVD promoting the glory of all things Utopia.
It’s really very strange.
The model is amazing. Being able to see the exact layout of all the rooms in the White House, and how the two additional wings are connected to everything made all that we read about the White House make a lot more sense.
But, the Utopian propaganda is just laid on SO THICK.
People continue to work overtime selling the current occupants as “the greatest First Family we have ever had”, as if the people selling this snake oil have something to prove. “See, we’re not RAAACIST! We love the Utopias! We put their pictures everywhere! See!”
If ever either Dr. Utopia or his wife do anything to warrant such praise and affection, we guarantee you that we will sing their praises from the mountain tops.
We are WAITING for the two of them to do something to earn all of the fawning and propaganda.
It’s been a year now, and despite winning a Nobel Prize and doing their level best to tank the US economy and drive us all into socialism, the Utopias haven’t done much more than squander millions on lavish parties and expensive travel to wherever their hearts desire.
That’s not praise-worthy in our books.
Looking at the model of the White House here in Chicago, seeing Bo, the dog Dr. Utopia named after his own initials, given to him by the Kennedys, playing in one of the gardens, we couldn’t help thinking about how great it will be to see a tiny snow machine racing around in miniature in 2013, with maybe a tiny husky pup from Alaska as the new First Dog.
We doubt the Zeifs will plaster the interiors of their model with giant photos of the Palins…but, in truth, the Palins would never want them to.
The model might be tiny, but we know full well whose egos are so large as to demand this constant fawning.
Mercifully, we only have three more years of this nonsense to go.
WHAT HAPPENED TO PEOPLE WHO BACKSTAB THE CLINTONS – UPDATE
For some reason, whenever we check back in on all the people who backstabbed the Clintons in 2008, and run a recap of what’s happened to these people since, we get an awful lot of hatemail from moonbats. We don’t believe, for a moment, that the Clintons have anything to do with ANY of this. Nor do we believe Hera, from her perch on Olympus, dispatches flights of harpies and Furies to take these terrible people down for what they did to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
We’re just noting the very strange, and highly unusual, falls from grace so many of Dr. Utopia’s supporters have had in such a short amount of time. It seems that almost everyone who turned against the Clintons is being destroyed in some way, in The Golden Age of Hope and Change.

* Air America — filed for bankruptcy and is off the air as of 1.22.10
* The Kennedy Family — HRH Princess Caroline humiliated herself in December of 2008, and was denied the Senate seat she threw tantrums to get. Ted Kennedy died in the summer of 2009. His machinations to keep “The Kennedy Seat” in Liberal hands, with placeholders to also keep the thing warm until Princess Caroline could rehabilitate herself enough to stake claim to it, failed 1.19.10 when Republican Scott Brown (aka, Hottie McAwesome) took back “The Kennedy Seat” for the people of Massachusetts. For all intents and purposes, the would-be royal Kennedys have been deposed.
* Chris Dodd — humiliated for his rampant corruption, and forced into retirement facing certain defeat in the 2010 elections.
* John and Elizabeth Edwards — humiliated by John’s affair and his illegal misappropriation of campaign funds, lavished upon his mistress Rielle “Lisa Druck” Hunter. Elizabeth’s best efforts to paint herself as some sort of saint, just because she has cancer, were spoiled by the book Game Change, in which the REAL Elizabeth Edwards is revealed: a woman who knew damn well her husband was having an affair, and had a love child, but backed his 2008 run anyway so he could be a spoiler and take the nomination away from Clinton and hand it to Dr. Utopia instead. There is a special place in Hell waiting for Elizabeth Edwards. We’re sorry she has cancer, but having cancer does not make her a good person.
* Al Gore — his Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming has been exposed as the largest hoax ever perpetrated by the scientific community. The Copenhagen Global Warming Summit was pelted by the worst blizzard Denmark’s seen in decades, at the exact moment Russian agents exposed the institutional fraud and data manipulation Gore’s Church has engaged in for years.
* Harry Reid — will be defeated in 2010.
* Nancy Pelosi — will not be Speaker of the House after 2010.
* Howard Dean — humiliated by Dr. Utopia multiple times, including passing him over as both Surgeon General and H&HS Secretary; additionally, Dr. Utopia didn’t even have the decency to wait until Dean got back from American Samoa to announce Tim Kaine as his DNC Chair successor.
* Bill Richardson — humiliated when his corruption was exposed, and only dodged jail time because Eric Holder, as a favor to Dr. Utopia, refused to prosecute him for abuse of power and pay-to-play schemes in New Mexico.
* David Craig — humiliated, and forced to resign as White House Counsel.
* Kathleen Sebelius — humiliated on a daily basis, as her incompetence at H&HS is part of why the Healthcare Rationing bill imploded — no one in their right minds wanted to put this woman in charge of so much of our economy. Additionally, something’s seriously wrong with her face, permanently so, after she had lesions removed near her nose and eyes.
* Tim Russert — died of a heart attack after attacking Clinton ruthlessly in 2008.
* Claire McCaskill — wakes up every morning as Claire McCaskill
* Michelle Obama — makes an absolute ass of herself each and every day, with the MSM cheering her on, the way we’d encourage someone we didn’t like to constantly wear ugly hats. “You are a fashion icon!” is an inventive way to get someone to wear Playschool wrestling belts, upholstery fabric, and colors that only go together in a Crayola box on a regular basis. Her much-promoted “organic White House garden” is such a flop she had to truck in fresh produce from Whole Foods for a recent TV shoot. Embarrassing.
* Oprah Winfrey — her ratings are the worst they have ever been. So bad, that she’s yanking her show from the air in 2011. No one in Chicago is bemoaning that. No one will miss her. Her promotion of “The One” as the Lightbringer come to solve all our problems cost her everything.
* The DNC itself — has become absolutely, and perhaps permanently, hated by people who, just two years ago, were lifelong Democrats willing to do anything for it. Good luck getting any of us back into the fold ever again, not after what you did on May 31st, 2008, you idiots.
What other examples can you think of?
Every day, there seems to be new ones, so perhaps it’s worth the effort to collectively take this further and really keep count.
Question of the Day: What do you know about George Soros' Secretary of State Project?
What do you know about George Soros’ Secretary of State project, where Soros has been funding Leftists to take over the Secretarys of State offices across the nation (example: Jennifer Brunner in Ohio), so that these sympathetic puppets will be in office overseeing elections…where they are guaranteed to look the other way when ACORN and the SEIU get up to their voter fraud, election tampering, and intimidation efforts.
We are more motivated than ever to go after these people head on, and to defeat George Soros at every turn.
Don’t think for a moment we don’t know what we are up against. Soros is a billionaire. He crashed the economy last September to guarantee Dr. Utopia a win. His minions are legion, and they will stop at nothing in service of the Leftist agenda.
But, these people, in the last week, have taken the fight to us personally, and so, at this point, we figure we have nothing left to lose in ratcheting up our efforts against them.
The first step in this process is to get informed…to gather information…to determine exactly what Soros is up to, figure out what the Left is really doing, then find ways to cut off their funding, demoralize their troll and goblin armies, and run enough interference against them that they fail again and again across all 50 states.
Together, the unlikely coalition of strange bedfellows who come to this site could have invaluable insight into what needs to be done to take Soros and the Left down.
Clearly, we’ve been effective in what we’ve collectively done, because the Left was so upset over all of us helping Scott Brown win in Massachusetts that they came after us personally here this week “to teach us a lesson”.
Well, the lesson we learned is that we need to work even harder at defeating the Left and so alienating them from the general public that Liberals won’t be able to get elected dog catcher for the next 30 years.
We’re willing to take the heat for all of this. We’re already exposed and attacked, so putting ourselves out there some more doesn’t phase us anymore. If they ever go to the extrem of actually killing us, as they threaten, then we hope someone else out there reading this stands up and takes our place. Because we are not going to back down.
Just the opposite: we are going to work harder than ever to expose these lunatics and what they are doing behind the scenes.
“The Secretary of State Project” Soros launched in 2000 seems like a great place to start. Let’s undo whatever progress he made with this, and ruin one of Soros’ super villain plans to destroy America.
This is the way to stop these people…one scheme at a time…dragging into sunlight what they try desperately to keep hidden in trollish shadows.
