We have a theory on this that we’ll flesh out later, but for now we’d like your own thoughts on this: why are Democrats suddenly talking about Dr. Utopia’s birth certificate?
In short, we believe Liberals are trying to drive a wedge between the Tea Party Activists and the GOP by using the MSM to paint Tea Partiers as “birthers” — namely, people who do not believe Dr. Utopia was born in the US (there are two camps of birthers: Kenya Birthers and Canada Birthers).
The reason Dr. Utopia refuses, to this day, to release his original birth certificate, issued and given to his mother in 1961 when he was born, is clear to us: on his birth certificate, his father’s race is listed as Arab, and his father’s religion is listed as Muslim. His mother’s race is White and her religion is most likely Atheist (but could have been a default to whatever her parents were, since at 18, we don’t know if Stanley Dunham was an atheist yet or not).
The Utopia campaign was genius in using the MSM to cloud the real reason he’s keeping his birth certificate secret.
We believe Axelrod and company have been behind spreading the “birther” rumors, to distract from the real reason that document is kept hidden (namely, that it lists Obama’s father as an Arab Muslim). The Utopia campaign believes Americans will see Dr. Utopia as a liar if this truth came out…so, they preemptively mitigate that risk by painting anyone who talks about the birth certificate as a lunatic.
In 1961, there’s no other way Utopia’s father would have been listed on an official state document. We’ve seen birth certificates from that era in Hawaii. The father and mother’s race and religion are recorded. The modern, computer printouts of these forms delete that information, for whatever reason. But, the actual, physical, completed by the hospital and issued before the baby is released form Stanley Dunham got has Utopia recorded as the son of an Arab Muslim.
You can discuss amongst yourselves why Utopia has devoted so much effort to hiding this fact. It’s nothing you wouldn’t know about his father if you read the two books William Ayers ghost-wrote for him. But, it has always felt that Utopia’s handlers believe that birth certificate coming to light, being distributed, and being seen by millions would doom him in some way.
To us, it’s proof that he lies about almost everything. Dating back all the way to the day he was born.
In recent days, papers that have never talked about the birth certificate before have started talking about it…at the same time Democrats are doing their level best to attack the Tea Party Movement, and many think drive a wedge between them and Republicans in general.
The Tea Partiers put Scott Brown over the top in Massachusetts. They will be a powerful force in the 2010 elections. Democrats are scare out of their minds. And when Liberals get scared, they lash out and attack.

How did he travel to Pakistan when travel for US Citizens was supposed to be interdicted? Lisette, I have always suspected that Obama has taken that drug which causes your skin pigmentation to turn “black.”
Remember in the summer of 2008 when Newsweek I think it was, was caught darkening his photos for their covers?
That drug could also be the cause of his current ill-health. (Remember Obama never ever released his health records as McCain did in 2009.)

Just last night we were watching our local news, KTVU channel 2 in the Bay Area. They did a story on the local Tea Party movment as an excuse to get out their poll that made Tea Party people look like they were all birthers. It was so obvious that the intent of the whole story was to get that poll in there, regardless of whether it made sense as part of the story or not. When FOXNews publicly labeled folks wanting life records transparency, as Birther Loons… it was all over… the lame stream media won and FOX did the final deed.

In any case, it’s a good theory…I would say that he initially wanted to keep his dad’s religion a secret (but like you said, it’s hard to hide since he already admitted it in his books), but then seeing how great a job the MSM did of painting the “birthers” as a bunch a of nutjobs, I think he just kept it up in hopes they would just implode.

And why does the mainstream media NEVER talk about 9/11 conspiracy theories other than the official one? Because somebody very powerful has a whole lot to lose if the public ever learns the real story. That’s the same reason neither the Democrats nor the Republicans challenged Obama on his hidden records and credentials either during the campaign or since the election. So why would the Democrats bring it up now? I would interpret it as a veiled threat to the Repubicans. Whatever both parties know about Obama and don’t want the public to know could actually be more damaging to the Republicans. How could that be? Perhaps Obama was some kind of sneaky, conniving, deceitful government operative of some sort during his younger years…like during the Reagan administration. If he was, then he’s probably covered under some law or another…just like Valerie Plame was supposed to have been. These guys are playing chicken…or mutual blackmail or mutual assured destruction. If the R’s get the right candidate, Menendez will lose his election in 2011. He hasn’t left much of a footprint for the people in NJ in the 5 years he’s been in office – concentrating on his DC creds. The largest paper in the south doesn’t even carry articles about him. No one south of the Alred E Driscoll bridge knows who he is, except maybe in Trenton.
Laying out his plan like he just did and leaking it so that the opposition can be prepared to answer with ridicule, is not the strategy of a smart man. Without the energy of a D governor and the age of the other D Lautenberg (83) he might have a problem getting another 6 years. NJ’s unemployment rate is rising monthly and we just booted out his friend, Corzine. He certainly will have to spend a lot of money and run a lot of ads. While there has been some conroversy surrounding the definition of a NBC(because it was never defined in the Constitution), the current consensus (via Supreme Court rulings) is that a NBC would be anyone who is automatically a citizen at birth. In other words they don’t have to apply for citizenship. If you visit the gov’t websites, it won’t take you long to find the qualifications for citizenship.
Basically, it doesn’t really matter that his father was not a citizen. Nor would it matter if he wasn’t born on U.S. soil. Just the pure fact that his mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth would make him a citizen. This is part of the reason that a lot of big names, like Beck and O’Reilly won’t touch the story.
The problem with not being born on U.S. soil isn’t that you’re not a citizen, it just makes it more difficult to prove. Typically, if it’s established early on, it doesn’t become an issue. If someone puts it off, however, it can be a challenge later on.
The real issue about BO’s citizenship is that a lot of people believe that he and his mother gave up their U.S. citizenship at some point in time, presumably while living outside the country.
So, to answer the question…Yes. OBL’s kid would be a U.S. citizen under the circumstance that you describe. However, the gov’t has the right to revoke citizenship, which I’m guessing would be a likely course of action were that child to then go live with his father. I’m guessin that would severely reduce his chances of being elected to any office, as well.

The Supreme Court’s rulings have consistently defined a “natural-born citizen” as someone “born on US soil, with citizen parentS”
This would make the Gray Communist Cheat automatically ineligible if his father was Barack Hussein Obama “Sr”.
But was he? There is no evidence that his alleged “parents” were actually married, no evidence that Obama “Sr” was his father, actually no evidence of anything at all.
And that is enough to make the issue a Constitutional crisis.
The reason some Democrats may want to raise the issue now is that they have successfully intimidated the Republican establishment into silence about it, while more than half their constituents believe –quite rightly– that the self-styled “Obama” would not be legally president if his father was really the British subject from Kenya he claimed he was.
They know that the Republican establishment is terrified by the State-controlled media, and they hope to drive a wedge between them and their electorate –possibly while trying to get the Tea Partiers form a party of their own, which would ruin the prospects of getting rid of the Socialist bunch now in power.
The “birther” intimidation, like he “RAAACIST” charge, is an inversion of reality –it is the Democrats who have something to hide here, just like THEY have consistently been the party of institutionalized racism– but it has worked so far.
Possibly because McCain, being born in Panama, was ineligible too, meaningless statements by the Congress notwithstanding –those are matters to be decided by the judiciary, but no judge has been willing to address the issue so far.

I cannot believe that he can be voted in as President, but he won’t show us his eligibility! There should be no secrets. My daughter had to show her school transcripts to work at a daycare center, but he doesn’t have to show us his school records!
I don’t question his eligibility because his mother was American. I do question, however, if he listed himself as a foreign student to get aid. The whole thing smells, and will confirm what we all know, that there were lies after lies, and a lot of money has been spent covering up the whole thing.

By BHO’s own words, if his actual father is B.Obama senior, a Kenyan national and NOT a USA citizen, BHO is NOT a ‘natural born citizen’. Thus not eligible. Does not matter where he was born, he is ineligible.
Does not matter if his mom, under age (was she really the birth mother?) as her citizenship alone does not make him a ‘natural born citizen’.

Seeing as you list no source (other than a blog), I’m not sure where you got that information from (other than said blog). Since the blog you link also clearly posts opinion articles and gives no actual sources of its own, I’m at a loss.

Children with only one citizen parent are actually better off if that parent is their mother. It’s more clear-cut that way.
The whole citizenship issue is just stupid and a waste of energy. Parental citizenship doesn’t matter anyway if they’re born in the US, and just because Hawaii was still a territory doesn’t invalidate that he was born “here.” The birth notices in the newspapers 4 days later are pretty conclusive.
I’m sure the Boyz are right … there’s something ELSE in that original document they don’t want to reveal. Something they think might be embarrassing.

To be eligible as potus to fulfill Natural Born Citizen element-he is missing one important part-father not a citizen of the United States but a Kenyan national.
“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
Natural Born Citizen equals 2 parents both United States Citizens. Obama fails this test that is why Nancy Pelosi fraudulently with malice of forethought submitted certifications to the states (2) each state for CYA purposes. But they got caught.

Michelle, just to clarify… As I say on my blog, no definition exists for NBC, until the federal appeals court issues such definition, in a ruling in a case directly on point. But surely, the case law is clear as to what is meant by the word, “citizen.” Anyway, I am alleging that, the members of the D party who submitted Certifications BO is a NBC, had no reasonable documentary basis to assert even that he is a citizen, let alone natural born! Anyway, we asked what was the documentary basis for their Certification; and they wouldn’t tell us! In those states that only allow eligible candidates to get their names printed on the ballot, this refusal to answer the question sounds to me like a not-so-veiled admission of election fraud!

In general usage a Natural Born Citizen is generally defined as “someone who is, at birth, a US citizen. I have a friend who was born in NY to a British mother and Dutch father. Her parents were studying her when she was born. She is a US citizen and has been since birth. OTOH I have a friend who was born in Columbia and immigrated to the US and went through the process of becoming a US citizen. He would not be eligible to be POTUS.
Remember, the Constitution was written in large part by the children of immigrants. In fact, any POTUS’ born before the ratification of the Constitution were not born “Americans.” They were British subjects.
As long as BHO had one parent who was a US citizen he is considered a US citizen.
I tend to think that BHO did at some point renounce his citizenship and that he probably studied as a foreign student.

Glenn Beck spent half his show yesterday describing how these issues…The Ellie Light issue, the staff discrepencies with jobs numbers are used by Obama to distract people from what they don’t want them to pay attention to. One other theme here: If we look up the ownership of our info hero Fox News, we find that it is 40% owned by an Arab billionaire. He tells the owner-on-record, the Australian Rupert Murdoch who tells the CEO Roger Ailes, what not to say on Fox (Google).
That is why we never hear a nasty word about Arabs on Fox, such as the fact Arabs finance terrorists everywhere. We won’t be hearing any reference to Muslim terrorism in Europe, nor about the charges of racism against such patriots as Geert Wilders in Holland.
We won’t be hearing – except from fearless Rev. James Manning – about how the Arabs literally bought BHO’s university diplomas with donations to those universities. And we won’t likely be seeing BHO’s grades, term papers, actual book manuscript, or diplomas – perhaps because they don’t physically exist.
Why does Fox claim the BC is a dead issue? Because some Saudi picked up the phone and killed it.
BHO is a fraud in every sense of the word, so I don’t see anybody right-of-center caring much about where exactly his racially disturbed mother released her burden upon the world.

I’ve heard Fox give story after story after story about Arabs, muslims and about terrorists…They’re not racists. They’re not going to attack “Arabs”. They give accurate news accounts and it has nothing to do with billionaire saudis telling them what to say. They will report stories about the birth certificate IF there’s news about it…This is an accusation that’s been out there since last year. There’s nothing to report about it. Until there is proof of something there’s nothing to report about it.

I have a different slant. I think that to blunt some of the criticism from the left, especially from gay & lesbian political donors who feel stabbed in the back by Zero, he will soon move to rescind DADT. But the problem with that will be strong resistance from the rank and file soldier, sailor, marine and pilot who will file suit questioning his authority as CaC based on the birth certificate cul de sac. If they kick up mud now, they hope to blunt the impact of medaled vets refusing to follow commands.
I think the results in Massachusetts temper the overall criticism of birthers. Obviously no one believes what this fey, elitist and lying runt says anyways. His record after one year screams “I lie” about everything. Is it so far-fetched to believe that he is hiding something. I happen to believe that he is hiding owning triple citizenship; British/Kenyan, Indonesian and American. He has already admitted to Kenyan citizenship via his father’s status. But this isn’t what the political opposition should focus on. They need to keep the spotlight on his ineptitude; on his czars, czarinas and their graft & connections; on the abject failure of the stimulus; on the exponentially increasing national debt; AND, its the economy stupid. Once the opposition kicks his ass out of the oval office, then they can pull the birther route to expunge his administration from the books as ineligible, and stop the “library” from ever being built.

One of the reason the birth certificate eligibility issue is important is: if he is ineligible and unConstitutional every law, treaty etc. that he signed is null and void. Until he produces documents it is up for grabs, that is why the controversy and the law suits continue many by high ranking military due to their Constitutional oaths. They swear to uphold the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic, not to a potus or personality.

Not true. Standard parliamentary procedure dictates that once something is done, it’s done. It is incumbent on all persons to raise an objection at the time a rule is broken. That doesn’t guarantee you’ll get your way, because it can be overridden. Basically…once he was sworn in a President, he IS President. If they find out he is inelligible, they must then proceed with impeachment. Everything he did up to that point would still be official.

One of the reasons I sacrifice so much time and energy to foment citizen activism in order to resolve the issues of election fraud (viz-a-viz getting BO’s name on the ballot in applicable states) is this. Fraud can occur at so many stages in the electoral process. But I strongly believe, if would be perpetrators were assured, whatever they try will be met by an army of informed voters scrutinizing their every move and holding them accountable then, this fear of swift and certain consequences can mitigate such shenanigans, in whatever form. Like I have said, if we cannot rise up collectively to compel enforcement by our public officials, of existing laws then, what difference does it make to create new laws, or elect new public officials?

Whether he wrote his books, what is on his birth certificate, his sex life in Chicago, his apparent use of so many social security numbers, etc. etc. are all very interesting (and I love speculating on them).
But they are dead ends because only the state media gets to paint with the broad brush. And they do paint with that brush, successfully.
Dr. U has presently given us plenty of legitimate issues. He has revealed his hand enough.
The trial of KSM by itself is a powerful issue, and there are many more. Dr. U has shown his small-mindedness, his hate and his arrogance.

It’s because the current valid birth certificate in Hawaii is in the name Barry Soetoro. When a child is adopted, Hawaii seals the original birth certificate and issues a new one in the adopted name. Probably Barry Soetoro is still an Indonesian citizen, too.

Yes, I gave a child up for adoption 20 years ago. The original is no longer available to anybody. Regardless of who you are, myself, my daughter, her parents.
Lil’ Barry got adopted quite legally at 2 yrs old. In that moment became the son of a Indonesian man and at that point became available for all sorts of American money hand outs to Foreign Exchange students. In his bio he says he was “going by” Barry Soetero at Oxydental College in CA. He had to have applied to college by 17 years old, his parents were divorced at 19, but that doesn’t change legal paternity. He carried on by Sotero through the different schools on Exchange Student scholarships.
Eventually it was “cooler” to be the son of a powerful Black African than the Black son of a poor unknown Indonesian man.
It’s the simplest answer that explains every single loose thread.

It will be hard to get to the bottom of birth certificate issue now, after he is our president.
Remember, the gov. can print any document, using the best printing presses.
It is a losing issue as long as there is no proof (so far).
Only if the Clintons or the KGB or the French or British services get it somehow and release it to finish the guy for strategic reasons.
A better path to find out the truth about his citizenship is his passport, because he visited Pakistan when he could not do it as an American citizen.
If you remember, during the campaign, somebody hacked the State Dept. passport logs looking for Hillary’s, McCain’s and Obama’s records.
I believe that was a cover-up of the Obama’s password trail story, with Hillary and McCain as cover for the real target.
Later, I think, the guy, who was accused of doing it (a consultant hired through the firm of a big Obama supporter) was found dead (it was declared a “suicide”).
Obama spent over a million dollars in attorney fees to fight the birth certificate issue in court.
Why spend this kind of money if there is nothing to see?

The BC is something I’ve never really thought about, but here are two plausible reasons for its concealment — just from the top of my head:
1) As others said, the concealment is a wedge or psy-ops tactic designed to inflame opponents’ curiosity to the point where they discredit themselves.
2) There was some innocent clerical error on the BC, and the Prez is so image-conscious that he doesn’t want to risk having to explain the error’s history. Like maybe the BC got his name, or his father’s name, or something like that, wrong.
Had a college roommate whose high school sent out the wrong grades on her transcript when she was applying for colleges. Most colleges (including ours) paid no attention to her efforts to correct the mixup, simply because the system wasn’t set up to handle such mistakes.
Even having to explain away a totally innocent, random error can damage your credibility, and maybe Obama would rather use the considerable resources at his disposal to avoid the issue altogether rather than have to explain it — especially if the error, though innocent, seems damning in some way.
I’m more curious about his school records than his BC. I can sympathize with the desire to keep school records private — even if they’re fairly good — but if you turn yourself into a celebrity/politician, you’re just asking for that sort of scrutiny.

I think they’re focusing on the birth certificate because they don’t want us focusing on the real question: What did our founding fathers mean by natural born citizen to qualify for president?
According to letters between John Jay and George Washington, two of our founding fathers, natural born citizen meant born to two citizen parents on U.S. soil. Or, in the words of one poster (thanks, Kate), blood AND dirt. Because Obama’s father was not a citizen and never even wanted or tried to be a citizen, Obama therefore cannot be a natural born citizen.
They tried to hide it with a media blackout, but that didn’t work. So now they’re trying to frame the argument their way (the Alinsky way) by mocking and ridiculing the Birthers. They have to keep the argument away from the definition our founding fathers used — original intent — or they lose. And the last thing they want is for the Constitution to be the supreme authority. They also don’t want us to know/be reminded that Obama is a Constitutional lawyer, an expert on the Constitution, and Obama not only KNOWS he is not qualified, Obama also knows how to evade the law.
This is true of the conservatives also, who have knowingly and deliberately been part of the media blackout. They talk alot about the Constitution and how important it is, but they refuse to talk about THIS Constitutional issue. They want to pick and choose what parts of the Constitution they’ll support as well. They need to give us a sourced definition too, not just sink down to Alinsky’s thug tactics.

Geo. Washington was BORN a British subject on British soil in Virginia. Many of the founders were sons of at least on parent who was born outside the colonies and “no one” was a US citizen until at least 1776 and more legitimately the ratification of the Constitution. That said, it’s hard to get at what the founders really meant by natural born citizen.
Birth in the US = US citizenship. That is why pregnant women from Mexico are entering in droves. The child they deliver here is immediately a citizen and the mom can plead in immigration hearings that it’s cruel to not allow her to stay here with her baby, the US citizen.

Yes, but GW (and the others alive at this time) grandfathered themselves in…no one but a natural born citizen or a citizen at the time of the adoption of the constitution. So we all have to be natural born now because no one is still alive from 1781 and could get in as just a “citizen”.

You’re nosferatuist if you don’t remember to think about the vampire minority in this country, which is afraid to come out of the coffin, for obvious reasons.
Many of them were citizens at the time of the adoption of the constitution. Some of them even ate one or two of our founders.

I’ve also studied this issue for nearly 2 years. Mia, you are correct. Obama has admitted on his own website that he was a dual citizen at birth, governed by the British Nationality Act of 1948-so therefore a British subject through his father, which he never renounced. So it is therefore IMPOSSIBLE for him to ever be a natural born United States citizen since it must come to a person at birth, through blood plus soil.
OK, for the big news…Senate Resolution 511, passed on April 30, 2008 (sponsored by H Clinton and Obama) declared John McCain a natural born citizen. And in the congressional records, Patrick Leahy confirmed with Michael Chertoff that McCain was an natural born citizen because he was born of US citizen parents (note the plural) and born on a US army base. So, why does McCain have to have two parent citizens at the time of his birth and Obama can get away with only one US citizen parent?
And the answer to that is because McCain let his presidential ambitions override his oath to protect the US Constitution. His birth certificate clearly shows he was born in Colon, Panama, not on a US air force base. Therefore, he was also not eligible. So he could never challenge Obama on his ineligibility, because of his own problem. I respect him for his military service but am highly disappointed that his ego got the best of him.
Who knows where Obama was born, but it really makes no difference since his father was never a US citizen.
And Hillbuzz boys, I believe you are correct in that he may have been documented as Arab Muslim as his original BC.
Many people posting here feel it doesn’t matter but here is why it does: if Obama serves out his term, a new precedent has been established where absolute allegiance to the US is not longer a requirement by blood to be our President. There are certainly many actions that we could question his sole allegiance to the US already-esp the refusing to acknowledge the Ft. Hood shooter as a radicalized Muslim inspired to jihad.
Also, there is video of Obama campaigning for his Kenyan cousin Odinga…do a little research on that and you will find many dead Christians burned in churches when Odinga lost and his supporters went radical.
So in answer to the boyz question, I also think there will be an extreme effort to divide the tea party group and the RNC but also the posters here too so that they don’t all combine to reap victories such as Scott Browns. Therefore, we are forewarned-united we stand, divided we fall :)
And just for the record, no BO eligibility case has EVER been heard on its merits…they have all been dismissed based on procedure, standing, etc. My prediction, Leo Donofrio will eventually prevail with a quo warranto in DC district court proving O ineligible and all his destruction will be voided. He is currently representing 76 former Chrysler dealers..great details at the post and email and right side of life blogs.

Those who don’t will get sick of Mathhews et al dredging it up that they will wonder why Zero himself just doesn’t produce the original, and release his transcripts and medical records.

Personally, I think the Birth Certificate is a distraction. It amounts to the Whitewater rumors that always swirled around Bill and Hillary Clinton.
But the secrecy surrounding his Birth Certificate (the one his camp provided looks nothing like my simple black and white from the Hospital BC and looks more like the COLB my cousins received when they were adopted) and his College Records is troubling.
Any elected official, especially to a position of such power as the Presidency, should not hide things, they should stand as an open book. They can have private lives, but not secret ones.

Regardless of the college records, he is screwing up his current job quite well. Now everybody’s mad at him. It’s like a mini series soap opera, except the stakes are too high.

The DNC has learned something alright. We all know what they are up to and what they hope to do. This is where reality that sane people live in and fantasy of the DNC minds differ.
I’m not pointing out the obvious which gives them advice. Go to town Dems, and see just what happens-the rest of us that are not mentally unbalanced know just what your gonna get and have the champagne on ice at the ready :)

The claims by Menendez are lame – the Gold Standard is a Ron Paul theme. Now there are probably Ron Paul supporters who are also tea party supporters, and good for them for doing so, but for Menendez to say the two groups are the same is incredibly ignorant.
My personal theory on the birth certificate is similar to yours, with a twist – I don’t think his father made it onto the birth certificate at all. And for that reason his race would have been listed as caucasian, just like his mother. So Obama would be a white boy who grew up to be a black man – I can see why he would just as soon keep that quiet.
Anyway that’s my guess.

My theory about the birth certificate is a little different. At the time BO was adopted by his Indonesian step father, it was routine for the original birth certificate to be replaced by one giving the adoptive father as the father and the adoptive father’s name as the child’s name. So, BO’s actual birth certificate of record could very well list him as Barack Hussein Sotero, not Obama. That, in turn, draws attention to the possibility that he traveled under an Indonesian passport and, possibly, was admitted to Occidental and Columbia as a foreign student. This would raise questions about his eligibility for being POTUS.
