The Cleveland Plain Dailer finds more examples of "Ellie Light" in dozens of new papers
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the astroturfing tool that is “Ellie Light” has been discovered in dozens of new papers.
We’ve been engrossed in a mystery of our own: figuring out the identities of “TheBigotBasher” and others at Rumproast, Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, Betty Cracker, and Snarkopolitan who have been attacking us and libeling us as “racist” in the last week.
But, we’re following the Ellie Light story as well.
Such an oddball name has to have some sort of symbolic meaning to someone. Who do you think the author is?
* Cass SUNstein = sun being related to light
* Ellie = What Michelle Obama was called in high school, so someone using that as a nod to her that only people who really read up about her would know (we certainly didn’t know her high school nickname before now)
What other clues could “Ellie Light” lend itself to…and are the same people behind Ellie Light also responsible for the vicious, libelous attacks on those who do not support Dr. Utopia?
An S.O.S to anyone in Britain: we need a solicitor who specializes in libel
It’s becoming increasingly clear to us that the originator of the racist accusations libeling us on the site TheBigotBasher.wordpress.com is writing from Britain.
We believe he is working with a man and woman in New York state.
The three of them form a team, which conspires to commit libel, defamation of character, and tortitious interference of contracts across state lines…and in the case of TheBigotBasher, apparently across the Atlantic as well.
This is a direct notice to all entities involved in these attacks against us, including the Daily Kos and DemocraticUnderground: everyone spreading this racist accusation against us will be considered in our eyes to be part of the team conspiring to do us personal, financial, and physical harm.
We will list all of you as co-defendents.
We will subpeona Kos and DU for your IP addresses and real identities.
We will take you all to court, and in the discovery process we will find out whom you are working for.
We are not afraid to take this fight to the very heart of Mordor, to the DNC and White House itself.
You have gone too far this time. The little Hobbit homos in Boystown will not cower before you orcs and trolls.
We will expose all of you. We will make sure your employers know what you do to people. We will reveal your connections to the DNC to the American public and we will stand on Michigan Avenue with a bullhorn if we have to, to tell everyone within earshot of what the Democratic Party has become, with the likes of you paid and encourage to attack private citizens this way.
We have no connections at all in Britain.
To our knowledge, we don’t have a readership in England.
We do have some mighty fine Australians and Canadian supporters.
PLEASE, do us the favor of thinking of any solicitors in Britain who can help us.
We believe the attack originated in Birmingham. That is where we believe TheBigotBasher.wordpress.com is published. It all started with this site on January 20th. If this person behind all of this is indeed in Britain, he believes we cannot get to him from Chicago.
Please help us prove this attacker wrong.
If need be, we’ll sell a kidney or two if we have to raise enough to head to England to pursue a libel case against TheBigotBasher.
Who knows how long this person has been up to these attacks, but he messed with the wrong Hobbits this time.
Question of the Day: What impact does being called "racist" have on a private citizen? Let's analyze the Left's favorite, overused weapon.
One of the comments we received today was, “Why do you care if someone calls you a racist. It’s just like saying you have cooties. It’s no big deal”.
Let’s pause for a moment and think about the impact of calling a private citizen, non-public figure, a racist. How does that impact a person’s life and future? What damage does it cause? What acts of violence does it set that person up to receive?
Calling someone a racist is like yelling FIRE! in a crowded theater. It draws immediate attention, and provokes an emotional and instantaneous instinctual response in most people. In the example of the theater, you shout FIRE! and people stampeded for the exits, trampling anyone in their path. That’s why shouting FIRE! is illegal.
The Left’s favorite Alinsky attack on private citizens is calling them racists. They’ve been doing this for decades. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have built a multi-million (if not billion) dollar extortion industry on this…though usually their targets are corporations with deep pockets, and before they start shouting about RAAACISM!, they give the CEOs a chance to “hire Jackson and Sharpton as high-paid consultants to teach racial diversity and sensitivity classes”. If a company bawlks at the shakedown, Jackson and Sharpton mobilize the ACORN, SEIU, Alinsky crowd and astroturf protests at every important office of the company, busing in angry demonstrators from who knows where. Part of us thinks there are just shifts of these people forever on call, housed in warehouses playing poker and Guitar Hero until the RAAACISM! signal lights up and they all lickety-split it into the always-idling vans and buses, their protests signs forever lined up and prepped for instantaneous use.
While it’s true that every day, it seems, the Left calls someone a racist, and the MSM allows Jackson and Sharpton, Henry Gates, and their ilk to racialize everything, it is NOT true that charges of RAAACISM! casually lobbed at private citizens have no impact.
Diamonds are forever, and so are Google search results…especially when Google, part of Obama’s axis of support, has admitted to stacking results for political or economic reasons. You can pay to have your site pop up first in search results. Google can control what turns up and what does not. If Google wants something to disappear, it’s like it never existed. If Google wants something to endure forever, the pyramids will melt first.
If you are someone who has been attacked by the Left, libeled as a racist, and punished for not bowing down before The Lightbringer, Dr. Utopia, then Heaven help you…because Google certainly never will.
We’ve spoken to people in the last week who have been trying for YEARS to have unfounded racist accusations against them removed from Google. It’s damn near impossible. Yet, mysteriously, unflattering photos of the current First Lady are dispatched to the bowels of shadowy Hades moments after they hit the ‘Net. So, you see, some things can indeed be removed forever, while others are deliberately intended to remain front and center. Welcome to Google…welcome to “The Golden Age of Hope and Change”, and Liberal rule.
The impact of unfounded racist accusations is three-fold, at the very least:
(1) Personal
(2) Professional
(3) Physical
In the personal realm, when a site like BigotBasher publishes your name, calls you a racist, and thus commits actionable libel, that person destroys your personal relationships — particularly with anyone who cannot afford to be associated with someone under attack like this. In the past week, we’ve seen who are our real friends, who’s just been along for the ride when times are good. A guy you’re dating and really liked will break up with you because he does not “want to get dragged into anything this frightening”. Friends of yours you ask for help from will tell you they “can’t afford to lose work themselves right now, so don’t come around me until this dies down”. Family, loved ones, people you care about, are deeply hurt that someone out there, anonymously, is savaging you this way. BigotBasher’s attacks have very real costs, on a personal level, and everyone associated with this attack should have to suffer consequences for these actions.
Additionally, pursuant to the above, just imagine you are a freelancer, forever dependent on luck and referrals to get more work. Prospective employers and new clients all Google you. Instead of the good work you’ve done your entire adult life turning up in searches, now dozens of pages calling you a racist turn up instead, all originating from that initial BigotBasher post, which was carried on Rumproast, Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, and via dozens of other Leftist sites in the Legion of Doom that’s been engaged since 2008 to destroy all who dare speak out against “The One”.
These are the tactics employed by Islamofascists against anyone they perceive as offending Muhammad or Islam. They issue a fatwa upon your head, and send the signal to the faithful to completely destroy your life, make you unemployable, and shut you up for good. Their main aim, it seems, is to so terrify someone with these attacks that they never want to talk about politics again. They want people to buckle, to crumble into a heap, and be terrified of ever touching a computer again. THAT’S what these attacks are meant to accomplish.
We’ve told you before, it’s not going to work this time. Unlike many of the people who have been on the receiving end of these fatwas, we’re single, gay, and have lived good lives with no regrets. If these people killed us tomorrow for standing up to Obama, then we’d die knowing we did eveything we could to save this country from the radicals and socialists who took over our government in 2008. So what if we don’t get to live to see 35. There are no kids we’d orphan. We don’t even have cats or dogs. The bars in Boystown wouldn’t even notice the dip in Pilsner sales.
So, attacking young gay guys was a stupid move on the Left’s part.
We’re loud. We have been harassed our whole lives for being gay, have been gay-bashed, and one of us has even been raped. We’ve been mugged in New York and here in Chicago. One of us was punched in the face in 2008 for standing up for Trig Palin when Leftists were making fun of his Downs Syndrome. We’ve been called fags more times than we can count, and every day multiple comments are left in our spam filter, from the same IP addresses, using different names, telling us how much they want us to get AIDS and die.
So, considering all of this, having people like BigotBasher, Rumproast, DailyKos, DemocraticUnderground, or the DNC and White House themselves call us racists and attempt to ruin our lives just makes us want to talk about politics MORE, and to go door to door telling everyone in America what’s going on and how far the Democrat Party has gone in its Alinsky zeal.
We’ve made the reference before, but it’s apt to repeat it: it’s like demented Voldemort coming after Harry Potter again and again, thereby creating the very person who will stand up to him and ultimately defeat him.
We consider the events of this week the thing that gave us our lightning bolt scar.
If you think we were committed to defeating the Left before, now that the Left has come after us personally, and destroyed one of our lives, you can bet we’re more committed than ever to bringing these people down.
Since the Left has now cost one of us actual work, he’ll just have to spend all day rallying people against these Alinsky methods and teaching people how to expose and bring down the DNC itself for supporting these sorts of tactics.
And we’d love to have as many Rons and Hermiones as we can get to help us.
But, despite our references to children’s literature and our belief in always fighting the good fight, we do need to address the issue of our personal safety and physical well-being.
When someone says, “It’s no big deal to call you a racist”, we don’t think you understand what it’s like to live in a racially charged city like Chicago, where the black community routinely lashes out at anyone it perceives as “RAAACIST”. This is, of course, because of everything Jackson, Sharpton, and Gates have done for their entire careers. The black community is muscle-memory inclined to rise up and attack anyone labeled as “racist”, without giving that person the benefit of the doubt or realizing they are being played by people who want to use this resource as a weapon.
If you are swimming in the ocean with great white sharks, and someone throws a bucket of blood in the water, then drops a boom box overboard with the sound of seals splashing about, that person has set the stage for epic violence to devour you.
BigotBasher knows we live and work in Chicago.
DailyKos knows the black community in Chicago is routinely exploited by the likes of Jackson and Sharpton to attack anyone they label as “racist”.
DemocraticUnderground knows posting someone’s name and photo in a city with high racial tension, then calling that person a RAACIST, is tantamount to painting a giant target on the guy’s back.
We believe this was the direct intent of the Left in this attack.
We believe they crafted this assault, via BigotBasher, to get one of us beaten up, if not actually killed.
If you don’t like this site and think we are bad writers or don’t know what we are talking about, then don’t read us. If you disagree with anything we’ve ever written, then counter it point by point academically, like an intellectual.
But, calling someone who lives in a racial tinderbox like Chicago a RAAACIST, then putting his picture up there to make him an easy target…that’s just provoking a physical attack on the person. What’s next? Heading out to street corners in bad neighborhoods with flyers and an actual bounty put on a PUMA’s head…just because they don’t agree with you and your devotion to the current president?
All this over a political blog.
All this because we didn’t vote for your candidate, don’t believe he is a good or effective leader, and do not feel this country is headed in the right direction.
Welcome to “The Golden Age of Hope and Change”, where Obama’s Legion of Doom is in never-ending campaign mode, crushing all resistance, and eliminating as many of his opponents on a regular basis.
Daily Kos and Democratic Underground could EASILY, in one stroke, end these attacks on us. We have spam filters here on HillBuzz. Words like “f***” and “c***” and any posts that come in that WordPress sensors think are trollish go right to a spam folder. Those of you who complain about your posts not turning up right away have to realize that without these spam filters, the most vile things imaginable would fill up threads. It’s unfortunate everyone has to suffer this delay in posting, but we don’t want nastiness to take over something we work so hard to keep sane and moderate.
Daily Kos and Democratic Underground could easily add our names, and HillBuzz itself, to its spam filters, so that any mention of us at all would disappear immediately into the ether. There would be no way to libel, defame, or threaten us if they did this. But, they choose not to protect private citizens like us from the ravages of their writers.
We’re not lawyers, but we believe this makes Kos and DU culpable in all of this, and makes them part of the RICO-worthy conspiracy to libel, defame, destroy, and cause physical harm to us as individuals. Kos has been playing a game all week where threats are made against us in various threads, left up for a while, and then deleted. As we said, the technology exists to keep those posts from ever happening to begin with.
If we are so insignificant, and if what we say about Dr. Utopia has no merit, then why talk about us at all on Kos or DU? Why are we such a threat? Why does such actions have to be taken against us — especially on the day after the Massachusetts election?
Why attack us now?
Why use the nuclear option of RAAACIST! allegations to incite violence against us in Chicago?
Why, if Obama really is “The Lightbringer”, and everything Democrats are doing right now is so wonderful, do Obama supporters need to use tactics like this?
Lastly…why do people who attack us personally, as private citizens, not step forward and reveal their own names, on sites like Bettycracker, Rumproast, Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, and BigotBasher?
Why does the Legion of Doom hide behind so many masks?
What can we do to form a Justice League to take them down so they can’t do things like this to destroy people anymore?
It’s too late to save us. The damage is done. Our lives won’t ever be the same. Our futures have been impacted by this. We bear the scars.
But, we CAN do everything in our power to make sure progress is made towards shutting the DNC’s Alinsky Machine down once and for all…so this does not have to happen to anyone else.
Frankly, even if it kills us.
We have nothing else to lose at this point.
Another example of the Left attacking PUMAs
Here’s another example of the Left attacking PUMA sites, in Liberals’ neverending utilization of brown shirt tactics to take down all who oppose Dr. Utopia, the celestial Lightbringer: this is via DailyPuma.
In the summer of 2008, there was a blogroll over at JustSayNoDeal.com. For a period of several weeks, one after another, all sites appearing on that blogroll were attacked, many of them being permanently disabled. The attackers, to be cute, literally ran down the list, blog by blog, hitting one after another.

This is why we abandoned Blogspot, which is run by Google. Most of the blogs we know of that were attacked were on Blogspot, and we believe to this day that the people running Blogspot helpd the Left take these sites down, all in service to Dr. Utopia.

The problem with all of this is that all of us who opposed Dr. Utopia are little islands in turbulent seas. We don’t effective communicate with one another, and most of us are not all that tech savvy. So, if one of us suddenly goes down and disappears, people may wonder what happened, but no one reaches out and coordinates a solid counter-punch to the Left.
We have no Justice League in the moderate, conservative, independent realm, whereas the Left has a well-funded Legion of Doom on staff, ever ready, to launch attacks.
What other attacks on PUMAs do you know of? Our deepest wish is to turn the attacks against us into a net-positive for all of us: more so than fighting to clear our own names, we want to launch a counter attack straight to the heart of Mordor itself, so that ALL of us out there who are being attacked by Obama’s goon squad can rally together and expose these thugs for who they are.
If we can identify them, we can take legal action against them.
If we can tie them back to the DNC itself, heads will roll.
Voters need to understand what the Democrat party has become and who exactly are in power now.
We have between now and November to make that happen.
Can Trolls and "Puma Hunters" be tracked back to the DNC and Organizing for America themselves?
For the past week, we’ve been thrust into the sort of maelstrom John Grisham conjures for his characters: for whatever reason, out of the blue, one day ordinary people find themselves up against a ruthless conspiracy bent on their destruction.
We’d never heard the term “Puma Hunter” until this week, though we were aware of sporadic attacks on people like Darragh Murphy at PUMApac.org or Will Bowers, two of the most prominent and outspoken Democrats who witnessed the brutal attacks of the Left upon Hillary Clinton supporters during the primaries, and, like us, decided they could not “shut up and sit down” once the Left’s “Lightbringer” was awarded the nomination and began his general election campaign. PUMA stands for “People United Means Action”, which sums up the grassroots movement that emerged after the DNC’s Rules & Bylaws Committee met on May 31st, 2008 and essentially awarded the nomination to Obama, despite the clear will of the voters. On that day, many of us saw the fix was in, and we became determined to make sure the American people would ultimately realize a coup within the DNC itself had installed George Soros-funded socialists in place to seize and forever alter the former Democrat Party.
Writers for PUMA sites were viciously attacked by the Hope and Change Gang from the very beginning, because we, to this day, refuse to be silenced about the thuggery, voter fraud, intimidation, harassment, and extortion the Obama campaign used to win the nomination and general election. The news media has completely ignored all of this, but those of us who campaigned on the ground for Hillary Clinton across the country saw, firsthand, the Alinsky Methods playbook used page by page against anyone and everything that stood in Obama’s way.
“Puma Hunters” appear to be a page from the same book that spawned armies of cyber trolls to serve Obama. Unlike trolls used generally speaking, working off new talking points each day to attack Obama’s opponents on policy points, “Puma Hunters” are operatives that focus specifically on destroying the lives of PUMAs: they libel and defame us, they make us unemployable by filling internet searches with false accusations of racism, they harass us at work to the point where companies cut our contracts for fear of losing business, etc. From what you’ve all, collectively, helped us gather in terms of clues this week, we believe these “Puma Hunters” are being directed by the DNC and Organizing for America, on some level, to berate, harass, and personally destroy moderate Democrats, Independents, and the newly minted former-Democrats who remain committed to exposing Obama for who he really is, and who his followers and goons really are.
What follows is our understanding of “Puma Hunters”, a recap of what’s happened to us this week, and all the information we have, so far, illustrating the coordination of multiple Leftist sites like The Daily Kos and DemocraticUnderground on “Puma Hunting” expeditions, with very likely direction from the DNC and other Obama-controlled organizations themselves. With your help, we believe we’ll ultimately be able to directly prove the Puma Hunters, as well as the trolls and Internet fabrications like “Ellie Light”, are getting their marching orders from some entity like David Axelrod’s consulting firm, which specialized in astroturfing and Internet campaigns.
Like a John Grisham novel, there are many twists and turns in all of this. Little, average people are up against giant, powerful, ruthless machines. It’s chilling to believe donors to the DNC are actually funding, in some way, attacks on Democrats themselves, just because those Democrats don’t fall lock-step into the new Liberal-Socialist Democrat party. We believe there’s a real story behind this “PUMA hunting” that, if properly investigated, could bring down a large part of the Alinsky machine. If everyone who is being attacked devoted time and energy into identifying the attackers, and it emerges these attackers are all linked, it won’t take much investigative work to determine who’s ultimately coordinating all of this harassment, who is paying these attackers to destroy the lives of private citizens, and who in the White House knows and approves of what’s going on.
This is, clearly, much bigger than the personal attacks on us here in Chicago.
This is the way business is done in Obama’s “Golden Age of Hope and Change”.
Backstory:
Until the week before Christmas, we did not involve ourselves in the Massachusetts Senate race because Martha Coakley stood by Hillary Clinton in the primaries, despite immense pressure from the Kennedy Family, John Kerry, and Deval Patrick to back Obama instead. We have no idea how much harassment Coakley received for her decision, but we imagine it had to be considerable. We know what Obama’s goons do to regular people, so we shudder to think what they’d to do someone as high-profile as Coakley. Though we didn’t want the current Liberal-Socialist Democrat party to maintain its super-majority in the Senate, we stayed out of the Massachusetts race in deference to Coakley’s Team Hillary resolve.
Things changed for us when news of Blanche Lincoln’s Louisiana Purchase and Ben Nelson’s shameless Cornhusker Kickback exposed the level of graft, corruption, secrecy, closed-door-deals, and undemocratic activity Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Obama were engaged in to ram the Healthcare Rationing Bill through the Senate, in the dead of night, on Christmas Eve. This behavior horrified us. The Democrats in power heard clearly from voters across the country that they did not want the Senate to rush through any bill with the economy-altering power of this Rationing measure, and yet, Democrats deliberately chose to vote on legislation most of them hadn’t even read, in the cover of darkness, in the middle of the night, while most Americans were distracted with holiday preparation. They thought people wouldn’t notice what they were up to, but they were wrong. We noticed, and we decided to do the only thing we could do at that moment in time: back Scott Brown for the Senate in Massachusetts to send Democrats a message. If they could lose “The Kennedy Seat” over their reckless and dangerous handling of healthcare reform, then not a single Democrat in office would be safe in 2010.
Looking at Scott Brown for the first time, we instantly liked what we saw — and we’re not just talking about his layout for Cosmo. We believed Brown would actually read legislation before voting on it. Even more refreshing than that, we knew Brown would think for himself and would not just do what Harry Reid told him to do — especially not with something that will raise taxes, decrease access to medical care, bankrupt many doctors and hospitals, and cut Medicare benefits to millions. Coakley lost our support when she went back on her campaign promise to vote against the Rationing bill; once she won the primary, she decided she already won “The Kennedy Seat”, and her arrogance in treating voters like peasants (culminating in her aide, Michael Meaghan, actually pushing a reporter to the ground when he dared to ask her a question about her sudden willingness to do whatever Reid told her to do in the Senate) offended us.
To help Scott Brown, we thought of two things to benefit his campaign:
(1) Stir up our readers to volunteer for him
(2) Mitigate any attacks the Left would use against him based on his Cosmo photo spread
Since we’ve been attacked for two years now by the Left, and have watched other PUMAs attacked as well, we can fairly accurately anticipate a large portion of what these people will do to someone. We knew they’d try to turn Brown’s decades-old photoshoot against him, so we decided to get in front of it by calling Brown “Hottie McAwesome”, and making his Cosmo spread a net-positive for our readers, and all who’d use search engines to find those photos once Democrats got around to attempting to use them against him. Well, idiots, those photos are great. In fact, they’re awesome. Scott Brown is awesome. He’s also, still, at his age, hot. So, “Hottie McAwesome” caught on as a Brown nickname, and started appearing on signs in photos all around Massachusetts.
In the last days of the campaign, when Coakley tried to ridicule Brown for those Cosmo shots, it was Coakley who looked stupid, not Brown, because people had already seen Hottie McAwesome in all his glory…and they liked what they saw.
Almost immediately after beginning the “Hottie McAwesome” campaign here on HillBuzz, we received warning from Democrats here in Chicago that we “needed to stay out of the Massachusetts race”. So much was riding on that special election, in terms of the Healthcare Rationing bill, that “too many people are watching this and they are going to come after you for helping Brown”. The people warning us were good Democrats, big in the fundraising community, whom we know from Hillary Clinton’s primary campaign. It’s very rare for them to ever chime in with anything to us, but whenever they think we’re on to some story the DNC does not want us talking about, they’ll caution us that “talking about this will cost you work, and draw more attention to you than you want”, and advise us to drop the topic. Since all of us work as freelancers, in the private events, grant writing, and nonprofit world, in a city controlled by Liberals, trust us when we say we do not take warnings like this lightly. We’ve struggled for two years now since Obama supporters started blackballing us around Chicago for not backing “The One”. We’ve lost work whenever Obama’s goons harassed our employers for having us on the payroll, and we found ourselves axed because of that. ”I just can’t be associated with you, because you’re on a Banned list, and I don’t want them coming after me, too”, is something we’ve heard a lot of since the day we launched this site in February 2008 to combat everything immoral and undemocratic the Obama campaign was doing to both Hillary Clinton and her supporters.
On January 9th, we ran a “Who’s Mad At Us Today Report”, addressing these warnings, and noting that, after serious consideration on our part, we were going to continue to support Scott Brown because we felt (and still feel, clearly) Democrats had abused their super-majority in the Senate and that the people of Massachusetts needed to take back “The Kennedy Seat” from the DNC to “teach Democrats a lesson” (borrowing a favorite meme of conservatives we hear time and again towards the GOP). Naively, we thought there wasn’t much less the Left could do to us, really. Our freelancing careers are pretty much over in Chicago, save for gigs we still get from fellow PUMAs who won’t abandon us. We have no delusions of ever again being able to land contract jobs working for the City of Chicago, especially not after we opposed the Olympics scheme and helped rally people for Rio. We’re aware that in a Liberal-controlled city there are severe financial and professional consequences for exercising free speech and dipping our toes in political activism.
But, the fate of the country meant more to us than anything the Left would throw at us in punishment. We decided to continue supporting Brown, despite multiple warnings that a maelstrom was being prepped for us at the DNC, because we felt this race was too important to allow the Massachusetts machine to win.
Scott Brown was elected to the United States Senate on January 19th, 2010 — to rapturous cheers here at Buzzquarters in Chicago, and around the country.
On January 20th, the Left decided to escalate their usual attacks on us, this time personally outing one of us, calling him a racist, and advocating for the destruction of his personal and professional life.
It seems they were so upset Brown won “The Kennedy Seat” that they moved quickly to punish anyone they felt had in any way contributed to that stunning win: and we became a target.
Since beginning this site two years ago, we’ve maintained it anonymously as “The HillBuzz Boys” here in Boystown for several reasons that should be obvious to you:
(1) We like having jobs and want to be able to eat dinner once in a while.
(2) Politics is our hobby, not our profession. In Chicago, particularly, a hobby like this will cost you employment, guaranteed, so why do that to ourselves?
(3) We enjoy having personal lives. Being gay, but refusing to toe the line, in a Liberal-controlled city means immediate pariah status for any of us who dare to publicly call the Left out on anything.
(4) We never intended to make politics our lives. HillBuzz itself exists by pure accident. It was started as a little blog to give Hillary supporters in Chicago a place to post articles and plot strategy during the worst days of the 2008 primary, when Obama was winning a string of February caucuses and Tim Russert, Keith Olbermann, Anderson Cooper, Chris Matthews, and the rest of Obama’s media cheering brigade kept berating Hillary Clinton to “just quit already” and her supporters to “shut up and fall in line”. Once Clinton suspended her campaign, we kept this site running to fight the PUMA fight…and to work with Republicans for the first time in our lives to defeat Obama, since we knew what he would do as president. Hint: it’s exactly what he’s done this past year. We pegged Sarah Palin early on as McCain’s VP pick, and have liked her for years, ever since we heard about her battle with the corrupt idiots in Alaska like Ted Stevens. So, of course, it was natural for us to back Palin whole-heartedly in everything she did, and continues to do, to this day.
We’re surprised as anyone at the evolution we’ve made, starting out on this site as lifelong partisan Democrats, finding ourselves relentlessly attacked by our own party, losing our livelihoods because of an election decided years ago at this point, and being villainized at every turn by a well-organized Leftist machine that’s aimed at anyone who opposes the socialist takeover of this country.
Sometimes, it feels less like something John Grisham would have written and more like a Stephen King paperback.

Specifics of the January 20th “Racist” Attack:
As noted in the Backstory above, the recent volley of attacks on us started on January 20th, 2010 at a site called “TheBigotBasher.wordpress.com”. This site appears to be run by someone named Sean S. living in Birmingham, England, who is listed in various records as a “consultant” of some stripe. BigotBasher made an entry on January 20th entitled: “Scott Brown and a hate site — The making of a Republican Campaign”. In that post, BigotBasher uses one of our real names, randomly runs a photo of one of us with Michael Steele from an event here in Chicago (when he could have just as easily used a photo with one of us and Whitney Houston or Lady Gaga, as we’ve met them as many times as Michael Steele), and flat-out calls not only this site, HillBuzz, “a hate site”, but calls one of us, personally, a racist. That is the very definition of libel.
Despite numerous notices for TheBigotBasher to remove the libelous racist accusation, Sean S. has refused to comply, in clear violation of WordPress terms of service (TOS). To date, for whatever reason, WordPress has refused to take action against Sean S. and remove all posts using our names, likeness, and the defamatory racist slurs. If you know a way to contact WordPress directly, we’d appreciate your help in getting TheBigotBasher scrubbed, since this is the originator of all attacks against us this week.
What follows is where things get really interesting, in the Grisham sense, because it’s clear to us the Left coordinated this attack upon on. ”TheBigotBasher” is an obscure blog that gets almost no traffic. According to Alexa.com, it’s ranked 9,459,458 in the US and is so little-read that it doesn’t even turn up in the global Internet rankings. By contrast, our site, HillBuzz, is currently ranked 14,852 in the US and 95,972 in global rankings.
On any random day, something we write has a fair to good chance of being picked up in the mainstream, because we have a lot more eyes focused on us daily. We find it impossible to believe people read “TheBigotBasher” waiting for scoop to drop on anyone, so that a link to libelous content on BigotBasher can be spread lightning speed across the Leftist blogosphere, destroying someone’s name and reputation across the Internet forever.
Almost IMMEDIATELY after BigotBasher launched his attack on us, that post was picked up by The Daily Kos and DemocraticUnderground. A host of other Leftist, Obama-supporting sites followed suit, repeating TheBigotBasher story as fact.
It is now impossible for us to ever remove all of this libel from Google searches. We intend to sue as many people involved in this attack as possible, and will devote YEARS to go after anyone running that racist charge against us, but the Left scored a victory here because we are now required to devote part of our day to fighting this battle instead of continuing what we do here every day, which is to look at the political world from our moderate Democrat perspective and call the current DNC and White House out for their radical socialist ties.
The end game in all of this for the Left appears to be to shut us down, make us shut up, and scare us into submission. They have personally destroyed one of us here. They’ve made him unemployable in Chicago. We have no idea how we are going to help him recover from this, but after this attack by the Left, his life as he knew it is done.
And, yes, in addition to the financial problems this causes, it has a personal impact, too. Do you know what happens when you’re dating someone and that guy decides to Google you one day, just for fun, and stories accusing him of being a racist turn up on Daily Kos, Democratic Underground, and other places? That person breaks up with you, if you didn’t already guess that, because he wants no part of being with a guy who’s getting attacked like this — for fear these people will come after him next because he’s associated with you. At this point, after suffering through the maelstrom for two years, we just have to take lumps like that as being par for this course. Our support for McCain/Palin in 2008, and our continued support for Governor Palin, makes us damn-near undateble in the LGBTQ community, since in Boystown, the only voting ever done is blind Democrat Liberal voting. The fact we have many Republican friends now makes us pariahs. But, throw in attacks like what Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, and BigotBasher have done, and the quality of our lives is further diminished. We’re truly being prevented from enjoying our lives to the fullest, being kept from employment opportunities, and being alienated in our community because of the attacks launched against us on a personal level by the Left — all because we dare to discuss politics and use our little niche here on the ‘Net to fight for the country we love as best as we know how.
The Left, through BigotBasher, made its attacks on us personal…and we tell you all of the above to stress what a personal impact this has. Just imagine if this sort of thing was done to you. What would your friends and family think when they Googled you? What would prospective employers think? Do you think you’d get the job you were applying for if a company thought they could be on the receiving end of harassment from the Left, too, if you were collecting a paycheck there?
Now, we’ve been aware of attacks like this on other people — on the personal level — launched by the Left before.
The Left called Bill and Hillary Clinton racists in 2008.
The Left called Geraldine Ferraro a racist.
The Left called Lynn Forester de Rothschild a racist.
The Left called John McCain and Sarah Palin racists.
If you do not fall to your knees and worship at the merest thought of Obama, “The Lightbringer”, you are called a racist.
This is the Left’s favorite weapon. They use it a thousand times every day.
But, for some reason, few people ever stand up to the charge. Few people ever seem to go after the people who make these sorts of claims, and who ruin people’s lives in anonymity. Why is it allowable for someone like BigotBasher to post someone’s real name, use a real photo, and make false charges of racism designed to ruin a person’s life…when BigotBasher remains anonymous? Why does WordPress allow BigotBasher a platform to launch an attack like this?
Why are Daily Kos and DemocraticUnderground so quick to broadcast libelous accusations against private citizens with impunity?
How are all of these sites being coordinated, so that something posted on an obscure blog like BigotBasher on January 20th can be reposted and distributed to millions of people by close of business that same day?
Who are the people behind attacks like this?
Who is coordinating them?
Who at the DNC knows what’s going on, and are those people writing these scripts and using people like BigotBasher to punish those who don’t heed warnings and fall into line the way the DNC and Obama White House wish?
If Obama and everything he is doing to this country are so wonderful, then why do his supporters and followers employ tactics like this to attack those who don’t embrace him?
That’s the most important question of all, really, because it’s so counterintuitive. If this really was the Lightbringer. If this really was a new messiah. If Obama had any idea what he was doing and if he was really good for this country, then thuggery would not be needed to silence his critics and prop this empty suit up. If Liberals really were right, and if they really did know what was best for this country, then no bullying would be required to make anyone “fall into line”.
Wouldn’t we all be gladly drinking the Kool-Aid and riding on our unicorns if the Hope and Change Gang was right?

What We’ve Learned So Far About How Puma Hunters Are All Connected:
(to be updated later today, as we are still sorting through all the clues you have collectively uncovered, tying BigotBasher to other sites such as Rumproast.com, Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, Snarkopolitan, Bettycracker, and posters calling themselves Sean S., “Wonk Hussein”, “Kevin K.”, JohnD, and other aliases, which appear to be the same three people who have been coordinating hits on PUMAs since the PUMA movement began in the summer of 2008).
If you have any information about attacks against other PUMA sites by these people, and other instances where they’ve libeled private citizens as racists, outed their real identities, and coordinated efforts to make them unemployable through libel and slander, please let us know.
It appears there could be a RICO case against everyone in the Left coordinating this. The crux of it is “tortious interference of contracts”, as well as libel charges. Essentially, whoever is running these attacks for Obama on private citizens is costing PUMAs employment, as well as inflicting permanent personal damage to them. Thus, those people should be held responsible for lost wages and the enormous monetary costs of hiring PR experts and Internet gurus to work for the next several years at removing every instance of the Left calling these private citizens racists.
If someone has to mount efforts like this to take back their good name, then the people who launched these attacks — and the people who instructed them to do so — need to be held accountable for it.
STUNNING ADMISSION: UK scientists admit they make up data for political reasons to support Church of Global Warming
This story is getting absolutely no coverage here in the US, but it’s stunning to us.
UK scientists are actually admitting they make up data to promote the Church of Global Warming, because they “want to put political pressure on governments”. So, these people invent data, such as the reports on Himalayan glacier shrinkage, create a global hysteria, dupe the Nobel Prize Committee into handing out a meritless award for research that is fabricated and fatally flawed, and the US media deigns not to report any of it.
The Nobel Prize, at this juncture, has essentially become no more prestigious than something found at the bottom of a Cracker Jacks box.
And not even one of the good prizes, like the fake tattoos or a decoder ring.
The Nobel Prize is one of those crappy plastic whistles that don’t really make any noise, or some kind of supposedly educational word-find games printed so small we can barely read it.
Not worth the paper it’s printed on.
The scariest thought, to us, regarding all of this blatant deception is that if these “scientists” have just been making up data to support the Church of Global Warming, what other “scientists” have been making things up?
Are they doing this in the field of aeronautics too? Does anyone understand how 747s stay in the air, really, or are they just winging the whole fluid dynamics comprehension stuff?
Does anyone have a real handle on nuclear power — or are all the scientists working in those plants just making up data and filling in their charts and graphs like soduku puzzles?
Is your heart surgeon someone who knows what she’s doing, or is she just “hoping for the best” and “saying whatever politicians want said about your EKG”?
“Science” today is an immense joke because of the Anthropogenic Global Warming hoax.
We’ve said this repeatedly, but we’ll say it again. In third grade, back in Catholic school, our teacher told us that the Earth’s weather was controlled by the sun. She even drew a picture on the chalk board, using the expensive colored chalk she only used to illustrate important points. Sister Francis Borgia drew a sun, with a big smiley face on it, with happy waves coming off it, headed towards the Earth. Then, she drew another picture, of an island with a palm tree on it. The waves from the sun caused waves in the water, and washed over the palm tree. In more advanced lessons, this nun drew a picture of the moon, to illustrate how it controls the tides.
No matter how many boats we put into the water, running at full speed away from the shore, towing giant plastic bags scooping as much water as possible, we will never be able to stop the moon’s impact on the tides. We can make a giant mess, disturb a great deal of wildlife, and upset many wealthy people with beachfront property (please let it be the Kennedys), but we as a species will never have more impact on the tides than the moon.
Just as we, as a species, can create a giant mess with pollution, but we will never have as much impact on the climate and weather as the sun.
Those happy wavy lines headed straight at us by that big smiley sun are what controls our climate. Whether ManBearPigs like it or not. When there is high solar activity, this planet warms. When there’s low solar activity, this planet cools.
We learned this in third grade.

Question of the Day: Which races should we follow in 2010?
Many of you are asking which races we’ll be following and getting heavily involved in for 2010, and what sides we’ll be on.
Definitely, we want to focus our attention on the Senate. That’s always where our interest has rested, largely because of Hillary Clinton’s time in that body, and what we learned about the Senate from following her there for many years. It might not be out of the realm of possibility for us to cover all the US Senate races going on this year. At the very least, we’ll hit half of them.
Races we already plan on watching:
(1) California — where we want Barbara Boxer defeated
(2) Nevada — where we want Harry Reid defeated
(3) Florida — where we want Marco Rubio to win
Oddly enough, we don’t plan on spending much of our energy on Illinois’ Senate race, since we’re so disgusted by what’s going on with the candidate selection and nomination process. It’s frustrating both sides are putting up bad candidates, with no one we can rally behind and get fired up over ending up on either side of the ballot.
We really like Sue Lowden in Nevada and hope she’s the Republican nominee. We’d love to work hard and back her. We also really like Marco Rubio, and can envision helping him with lots of gusto.
It’s time to sit down this week to look at what other races are heating up, and where our attentions will naturally be drawn in the months ahead. Of course, we’ll all have a clearer picture once February rolls in, since the parties will choose their candidates on both sides and we’ll know if people like Lowden and Rubio are the actual nominees. If it’s not Lowden, we still want Harry Reid to lose, but we won’t help out in that race. The same with Florida: if it’s a Rubio campaign, we want no part of it. That’s not an aspersion against whomever the nominees are instead, it’s just our honest reaction on where our energy will flow.
Are there any Democrats we’ll campaign aggressively for in 2010?
We’ll answer that question with a question: Are there any Democrats who are standing up to the DNC, the White House, and the rest of the radical Leftists controlling the party and this country…Democrats who will put country above party and actually listen to what their constituents want…Democrats who have the guts to do what is right, stand tall, and call out the lunatics in power now and get them to behave more responsibly?
