We’ve never seen the Left so unhinged, not in all of our lives.
Troll attacks are at their highest — even worse than in the heat of the primary battle in 2008, when Dr. Utopia’s supporters smashed one of our windows out (because it had a Hillary poster in it), with rocks that had the ubiquitous “O” stickers on them.
We have never in our lives seen the Left this crazed – and these are people who are crazy on an average Sunday, let alone a Sunday just days away from the biggest political earthquake of our generation.
The hatemail we get every day at this site has increased dramatically (though, as usual, it’s the same meme that these Kossacks and Moveon.org-anisms hope we get AIDS and die, threaten us physically, and say all sorts of other nasty things because we dare to fight back against the Liberal-Socialist Democrat agenda).
The attacks have actually crossed a few new lines, too, with a few of the Kossacks now attacking some of us here on a personal level. For the first time, we’re going to have to take legal action against some of these people. The process of which begins Monday. We’ll keep you updated as much as we can on that process, since it’s an interesting learning experience. In a nutshell, the nutroots has gone too far this time, so crazed over the fact that Democrats will lose “The Kennedy Seat” on Tuesday that they are lashing out at anyone and everyone they deem responsible for that.
For some reason, we’re on that radar, because we have been working night and day to take the Liberal Socialist Democrat party’s supermajority away from them, for the principal purpose of killing the Healthcare Rationing bill in the Senate and saving this country from economic ruin.
There have been many times in the last two years when we’ve been attacked by the Left, and we’ve thought about just giving all of this up and going back to who we were before 2008. Writing for this site takes a lot out of us, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, you name it. Our quality of life suffers, because we have to skip fun things we’d like to do because we have essays to write and strategy to get out to you. We do this because we don’t see anyone else doing it, and if we weren’t at this, the Left would win a small victory…since their goal is, clearly, to shut down all opposition and harass anyone who opposes them into submission.
You know you are getting to these Kossacks and Moveon.org-anisms when they come after you.
That means you are on to something, and they are afraid, so they throw everything they have at you to scare you into shutting up and running away.
After two years of this abuse heaped on us, it barely registers anymore. Not even when they cross a line and start attacking us personally, in our personal lives, the way some of them did yesterday. What may have scared us a few years ago instead just makes us get on a phone to a lawyer to begin procedures against these would-be bullies.
It is absolutely no fun standing up to Alinksy Methods and radical tactics. It is hard, hard work. You will be maligned for standing your ground. You will be personally attacked by these nuts if you are successful and they see you as some sort of threat. Somewhere, perhaps even originated at the White House itself, hit lists are made for distribution to the current president’s armies of trolls, orcs, and goblins, telling them whom to harass each week.
Michelle Malkin gets this. Glenn Beck gets it. Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Erik Erikson, Dennis Miller, and anyone else challenging the Left gets it.
We are in the very strange position now, as moderate Democrats, to be on the receiving end of this garbage ourselves, joining other PUMAs out there who’ve been targeted by the nutroots for refusing to be silenced as we watch Liberals on the far left destroy what used to be the Democrat Party.
They are furious at us for helping Scott Brown win on Tuesday. They are enraged we decided to do whatever we could to draw support to his campaign, and to mitigate any attacks the Left could make against Brown.
They are angry we’re goading Republicans to have a battle plan for January 20th, since the Left wants conservatives, moderates, and the entire GOP to drink themselves stupid celebrating on January 19th, so that the Left can find a way to keep Brown from being seated in the days after that — when Republicans normally go into hibernation and stop paying any attention to what’s going on.
We are not going to let that happen. No matter what the Left does to us, no matter how awful it is. Instead of making us shut up, it makes us want to work harder…to fight them with new reserves of fire and zeal. Has the Democrat Party really become a place where people threaten to kill you for daring to back another candidate in a race? Is this really what Democrats are now, people who call you a RAAACIST because you do not support the Socialist in the White House and what he is doing to drive this country into the ground? Do these fools really think this intimidation will work?
We have to be honest.
Most days we really miss how things used to be. It’s Sunday. We should be at Sidetracks enjoying Showtunes night, laughing it up with friends, scoping guys, having a great time. Instead, we’re making calls, emailing, getting strategy together, and trying to come up with an effective plan to rally this nation against the Liberal Socialist Democrats should they dare to defy the will of the people on Wednesday. It is taking absolutely everything we’ve got, and we know it’s going to be a long, long, stressful night.
Frankly, it’s going to be a long, long stressful next two years.
Defeating these radicals will not be easy.
We sure as heck can’t do it alone.
But, we’re willing to take this fire. We’re willing to live our lives every day harassed by these lunatics. If we have to start suing some of them for defamation and start prosecuting them for physical threats, then so be it. We will do everything we can to expose the Left for what it really is, and in depositions and discovery we’ll root out where the marching orders for this stuff is coming from, and take it all the way to the DNC and the White House if we have to.
We expect things to get much, much worse after Scott Brown wins. The Left will go absolutely apoplectic, since most of them, nationwide, have no idea there’s even a race in Massachusetts tomorrow. When Brown bests Coakley, their world will collapse. It really will be like the Death Star being destroyed by a ragtag band of rebels — the entire Leftist socialist empire won’t know what to do in the wake of that.
The only thing they’re wired to do is lash out, and we expect them to do that with a vengeance.
We know we’re going to need your support to weather whatever’s to come, so we’re going to ask you to up your own games for the next month or so. Keep the pressure up on Democrats coast to coast. Do not sit on your laurels on Tuesday. Have a beer and celebrate for Brown, but do not think for a moment this is the end of anything.
It’s only the beginning…and there is much, much more work to be done. The armies of trolls, orcs, and goblins are going to be fired up after the loss of “The Kennedy Seat”. So, those of us in the coalition of moderates, independents, and conservatives need to stay fired up too.
We’re willing to put ourselves on the line for this.
We just need you to stay focused and work hard too.
Together, we will ultimately win, and by 2012 hopefully defeat Liberals once and for all, driving them into absolute exile for the next 30 years if we are successful.
But, it really is going to take a lot of work, immense courage, and the drive to keep doing this each and every day, no matter what the Left hits back in return.

Well, because of the perceptiveness, compassion, and enthusiasm of your followers, once more I am reduced to another me too post. Tangentially, it is delicious irony that you backed Mr Brown so enthusiastically because of the justness of his positions and, owing to your orientation, because of a man-crush you have on him. And it results in many from the left hurling vile and inappropriate insults about your lifestyle and your health. On the other hand, so many of the supposed haters from the right are here pledging support and providing comfort.
After one strips away the petty hatreds, prejudices, and jealousies, one sees true character.

It’s funny how many of us feel as if we have been in the trenches for over a year listening to incoming missiles being fired all around us. Mentally and emotionally we are all in a state of seige. We ARE fighting a war, leaderless, relying on ourselves and friends and praying we prevail. I never in my life ever thought I would see the last year we have had. I sympathize with you and understand what you are going through. I don’t want to be marching, screaming on street corners, spraying signs, making calls, e-mailing, begging people to donate, watching every bit of news, phone calls to Washington, posting here(well, maybe here) and there. I keep thinking of all the things we could be doing if not for that scourge in the White House. Who ever thought there would come a time in this country when people would begin to tremple and fear for their future, not from a foreign enemy but from the enemy WITHIN? November 2008 was the first gambit in a slow moving coup and if we don’t do all we can and pray to God to be merciful, we will have seen our country vanish in less time than it took that plague in Washington to run a campaign.

When the camera was just focused on W, still looking very presidential, I was shocked to discover that I was choked up and crying. He was NOT perfect, and I disagreed with him on several big policy issues, but by God that man loves this country! And by God, we were safer when he and the gracious Laura were in the White House and adults were running the government.

Seriously, you guys need to move out of Chicago. You can continue to run the website and do everything else exactly the same in your fights from anywhere in the country as long as you have a high-speed Internet connection.
There is no reason to put yourselves in danger in Chicago. I’m sure readers could come up with a list of other places that are similar to the social atmosphere of Boystown if you want to still live in an area like that. Any big city must have a similar neighborhood.

It’s not only about the the threats. On that point though, of course they have a right ot live anywhere. However, all of us need to go about our business with common sense in regards to safety.
Sure, we all have a right to walk down any street in America and feel safe. However, would you walk down the street in ther worst part of town at 2 AM waving huindred dollars bills around?
In suggesting the guys move, I was also thinking about their financial situations. They have mentioned many times in the past that they are becoming increasingly unemployable in Chicago and have lost out on many sources of income as a direct result of their political work.

I’ve been in – Massachusetts is electric right now – the Globe, Boston Globe is even starting to backtrack – first it was the Obama to Blame piece, then the hard-hitting comments that usually appear (from Democrats supporting Brown) Globe headline: running scared, running hard (you can imagine who is running hard, and who is running scared) – In Amherst, the stronghold of Obama land – at a larger market – brown t-shirts, are everywhere, no one is admitting to supporting Coakley – and with the recent relevation of her letting that cop go for raping a 23 month old child – well….that’s all over Massachusetts (if not the national news) – top it off, Obama got heckled – at Northeastern U in Boston video here the premis of the press is it was only one of those “right to life people” – the problem with that, is that Obama reacted badly – lost his place and mumbled a bit, left the podium – Coakley was about as coherant, 2000 in attendance, most of them there to snap pics of Obama – (pre-2012) – Brown, by the way, has the over 55 crowd (boomers) he has the youth vote, he has the hispanic vote, he has the independent vote – it’s such a mixed bag of vote – hard core democrats are so demoralized, those likely to vote: 56% – those who will get there, ice, sleet and snow – (weather forecast) – Don’t pay attention to those outside looking in – get to the Bay State Media, check the comments on every website, under articles, look under rocks – there’s a big change of attitude.
Thank you for your hard work, thank you for helping those of us in Massachusetts who know what its like to live in the Bluest State and have dreaded the export of this nonsense to the nation for years. Brown is someone we can be proud of – keep it up, don’t give up – I’m calling, donating, and bringing friends, neighbors and whoever else I can to the polls – and I’m far from alone here.

Fortunately she has responded strongly.
Meanwhile … check out the current state of play in another formerly very blue state, New Jersey: the Secretary of State there is willing to turn the state’s constitution upside down in order to prevent a recall campaign against Senator Menendez, but it seems probable that she will not succeed.

I’ve only been on your bandwagon for a few weeks, after hearing about you on Rush, but in that short time you’ve really changed how I think about a lot of things.

I would just like to remind people of the power of ONE photograph and a few seconds of video to capture Martha Coakley’s true colors as she watched her goon knock a reporter to the ground. Just a person with a cell phone and another with a camera, may have done incredible damage to this woman’s campaign.
At the end of Return of the King, it is the Hobbits who destroy the One Ring (even Gollum was a Hobbit before the Ring found him.) The smallest members of the Fellowship turned out to be the mightiest.
That’s kind of how I see all of us. We’re just the everyday people who go to work every day and raise our kids and hope someday to retire somewhere warm. We didn’t sign up to be game-changers or activists or freedom-fighters.
But when you start effing with the greatest country that ever was, and trying to turn this great nation into a totalitarian oligarchy a la North Korea, you will godd*mn have to go through US to do it.

I wanted to share those pictures to give everyone a smile…but I did so before reading this entry.
I just have and I have a few things I wanted to say about it.
2008 changed everything for me. I watched as my party continued down a road of wimpy appeasement in the name of going along to get along and the other party embraced a radical leftist. I watched Hillary Clinton, who I did not support as a candidate (but who would without question be a world better than the person currently occupying 1600 PA Ave.) be denied her victory by party insiders, backroom deals, bribery, thuggish behavior and intimidation.
I watched honorable Democrats stand up to their party, who they saw was going the wrong direction…and honorable Republicans make their voice heard to their wimpy leadership and demand action.
And after we lost (and I mean after licking my wounds and mourning my country for several weeks), I cringed at every disastrous decision, self aggrandizing speech and broken promises. And I got angrier and angrier…and prouder and prouder of the American people from all political stripes take a stand and say NO MORE!
By all rights, we should not be winning any battles. The left has a super majority in both houses of Congress and has control over the Executive Branch. And yet, even with their corruption, their blatant disregard for the Constitution or the will of the people…Even with the bribes, the back room deals and the maligning of the people…they still haven’t gotten what they wanted.
That in and of itself gives me genuine hope. We can make a difference. We ARE making a difference.
Now I haven’t faced what the fantastic guys at Hillbuzz face because I’m not a “public” figure. I get hammered on moderate/left political forums and I see their tactics on conservative blogs…and I’m called a racist and a hater and so on and so forth…but I’m pretty much anonymous. But I do see the attitude of the far left…I see their behavior both online and off even though I personally don’t get the brunt of that viciousness.
I’ve said this on other forums when the topic of the Boyz come up and I’ll say it here as well. As a conservative, I might not see eye to eye on 100% of the issues with them…but I don’t care about that.
What I care about is that these guys are leaders in the fight to save our Republic from the danger from within our own borders. They are on the front lines and they have and are continuing to stick their necks out…and I consider them brothers in arms in this fight.
So yes…I will proudly stand with you and fight with you. It is an honor and a privilege to do so. You guys remind me so often why I’m proud to be an American and you provide valuable information on what we the little people can do to make a difference.
So I say to you guys…please be careful. The hard left is vile and vicious. If we can help you all out…please let us know. I don’t have a lot of money …but my web/graphic design and video business is starting to pick up all of the sudden so hopefully I’ll be able to toss you guys some dough. Beyond that…if you need other help beyond monetary needs, let us know that too.
Sorry for the long speech…but I had this on my heart and wanted to share.

I lurked for nearly a year here, surprised maybe that I could agree so much with guys I had so little in common with. To me, I think it boils down to we support the candidates that truly represent US… not the special interests, not the parties, US.
Since February ’08, I have donated to candidates, been hyper-informed, and have finally begun to understand what some of those things I learned in history and government classes were all about.
I’m not great at the activist thing, but info gathering and $$ are certainly something I’m ready and willing to “back you up with.” Obama and his merry band of half-witted, evil leftists must be stopped. This isn’t about who wins an election or even about who runs the country, I really feel like it is about saving not just our country but the world. If we go down, who would or could be there for Haiti? Who would step in if a Sadam decided to invade another Kuwait? Who would stand for those who cannot stand for themselves?
Do we have problems and issues in this country? Yes. Will we disagree. Of course. But on this point I know we do agree… uprooting the evil that is trying to take over our country is Number One. We do that, and everything else can be handled.

As someone posted above, citizenship is hard. The right thing is rarely the easy thing. I am sorry that you are on the receiving end of the Progressive Tolerance Brigade, but I am thankful that you have come to realize what it means to be a citizen of this great nation. I am also thankful that you all have channeled your passion out onto the Internet to inspire others to realize this too, and to fight for what is right.
Personally, I find it ironic that the Progressives, those peace-loving people of Tolerance donchaknow, can spout the most vile, hateful, venomous things at people of ideologies with which they disagree. And Conservatives are supposed to be the hateful ones!
Lastly, as I’ve observed this past year in Washington, and especially in the attitude of one Martha Coakley, I am reminded of a discussion I had with a fellow student last year. He was from Mexico, and we were discussing politics one day as we waited for an experiment to finish. He said the most stark contrast between government n Mexico and government in the US is that in Mexico the corruption is blatant. No one makes any effort to cover it up. Here in the US, there is still corruption, but in the US they still feel somewhat guilty about it, and try to hide it. What I have seen in the last few months as one legislative monstrosity after another gets rammed through is that the corruption here is now on display for all to see. No one is attempting to hide it anymore. This is not how this country was founded, and we as citizens should not sit by and let corrupt politicians wreck this nation. Thank you HillBuzz for standing up for what is right, and for inspiring many more to do the same.

I was just thinking. This is remarkably like 9/11. The first hijackers were successful because they told the people on the plane, “Just stay calm and we’ll land this thing.”
So the people did not fight back. The planes flew into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. But there was that fourth plane. The one still in the air that had also been hijacked, that had turned back to take aim at Washington.
Huddled in the back were the passengers. Some made connections via cell phone to the outside. I really believe they would have done exactly what the passengers on the other three planes did–UNTIL they figured out the hijackers’ agenda. Knowing they were going to be used as human missiles, they made a firm decision. Rush the hijackers, we may not make it out alive, but we will save those on the ground.
There is no way to know how many people, how many freedoms, how much of our country we STILL have because of those brave CITIZENS who rose up and fought back.
What great symbolism for us today. We are determined to stop the hijackers of our country in their tracks.

Guys… please be very, very careful of yourselves. There’s always some people who aren’t afraid to get blood on their hands if the price is right. Please consider VERY VERY seriously taking a C&C class and buying a gun. If Chicago doesn’t allow that, at the very least get a short barrel shotgun for home – the racking noise is a universal crime deterrent alone. Direct threats to your life are not to be taken lightly – I admire your courage and determination to persevere, but please do so while taking all due precautions. Get some guns and stay safe!!!

I agree with Natalie. You are your own first line of defense. You may not care for guns, but having a way to defend yourselves in an environment like this is essential. If you decide to go that route, get training, and get practice! There is a great quote, I think from the Cornered Cat site (a women who carries a concealed firearm): When asked why she carries a gun, she replied that it’s because she can’t carry a policeman. ;)

I’m with Natalie – get whatever guns the local laws will allow you to get. Harvey Milk’s friends told him he should carry a gun for protective reasons and he didn’t want to do it. If he had, he might have managed to shoot Dan White and save himself; the first three shots weren’t fatal and he could have recovered from those.

I’ve been here every day since sometime before NH. I had always voted straight Demorcratic ticket until I saw what the Democratic Party did to Hillary. That was the end for me. I’m sorry to say that I even voted for Obama for Senator. What was I thinking? I wasn’t. He was a Democrat, so I voted for him.
Those days are over. I donated more money than I could afford to Hillary, I phone-banked, I drove to Indiana and knocked on doors. In the end, I voted for McCain and have no regrets.
I knew that I could never vote for Obama after the NH Primary when Hillary’s supporters were called racist and her win was blamed on the Bradley Effect. That night was the turning point.
I have turned to this blog for sanity every day and never gave up in the summer when there was huge lapse. I knew that the Hillbuzz guys would come back. I knew they were committed to helping all of us take back our country from the far-left that Obama represents.
I love this site and come every day. I donated to Brown because of you guys and gave you the credit.
All of us here will help you in any way we can. You represent the best of America. You have put country before party and give us all real hope.
Thank you for all that you do for us. We all love you and will do anything to help you.
Now, let’s hope that Brown can pull this off on Tuesday. What a blow to Obama and his Obots. The end is near. America will not go along with his radical plan. Now we need to make sure people vote, that Brown has enough money, that the Hillboyz are safe and that we all keep up the fight for our country. For me, that means Hillary in 2012.

Sometimes I have to wonder if “The Greatest Generation” wasn’t that way because so many of them served in the military for a cause greater than themselves. I truly think that one of the reasons that there are so many nasty people is because we haven’t had any causes to unite us.
I’m not suggesting that military service be a mandatory thing, but it might just give some of these brats the kick in the rear end that they need to kick-start their brains.
That having been said, I think that we are in a “new” kind of service for a greater good, and that can only make all of us stronger. We tend to forget that the men and women who founded this great Republic were also a ragtag bunch of folks who were willing to fight for what they knew was right.
As Benjamin Franklin so drolly put it, “We must all hang together, or assuredly we will all hang separately”! Here’s to hanging together….

My ninety-year-old grandfather defused land mines in North Africa during WWII, and he’s said on a few different occasions, “The farm kids from the Midwest and the South, those were the best soldiers because they were used to working hard and taking orders. The worst soliders were the kids from Boston and New York City, because they thought they knew everything.” Maybe that was because the farm guys were used to working with other people towards a common goal, even if, before the war, it was something like getting all the crops harvested.

Secondly, as you are now part of the patriot movement, just say the word and if you need help, there should be a way to get a crowd over to your place to back you up. Sign-carrying protesters to protect you if need be. Sad that it might come to this.

You are correct. This is only the beginning. When Brown wins, they better seat him, and they better not try any ridiculous tricks. The White House is so scared he’ll win, they’ve already started pressuring the House of Reps to accept the bill as voted on by the Senate so it doesn’t have to go back through a resolution process. The American PEOPLE cannot allow their rights to due representation to be usurped that way.

If you check the profiles of the trolls you’ll see a fake profile with one or two groups and a few friends. What’s going to happen if Brown wins, is that there will be a “buyer’s remorse” which makes the Obama-ites look like small change.
The Repubs will be able to block any reforms and legislation the Dems put forward, proving to the country that they are indeed the party of “NO”, & they have no ideas of their own. “Lower taxes” is not an idea. There is a war going on, so that is out.

I have been reading your posts since the race for President; I can’t remember if I’ve ever posted or not. I am a former liberal (who initially supported Edwards) who was so turned off by the thuggish tactics of Obama, the sexism towards Clinton and Palin and the marxism of the Democrat party that I never want to be called a liberal again. I am new to this site too and I really appreciate all that you do. Sometimes in the past 2 years I have felt like a “stranger in a strange land”. I found myself being called a “racist” and other vulgar names simply because I supported Hillary Clinton during the democratic primaries. The political party which I had supported for almost 40 years had become in the space of a few months possessed by something that I could not recognize nor identify with. I have found other sites on the net that I enjoy but yours seems to be the most in alignment with where I find myself now. Your blogs enlighten and inspire but there is also humor and compassion. I love coming here and admire you for taking stands that are not necessarily politically correct with anyone. But please, please be safe!

I have to tell you, this was the best experience I have ever had phone banking… seriously. I spoke to my cousin tonight who is driving some elderly to the polls on Tuesday for Scott. She said the state is psyched…She also said her dad (my uncle) would roll over in his grave if he knew she was voting Republican. I told her ” no way”, he would never have approved of what is going on today. She agreed.

I lurked sporadically for about six months before your Bush letter brought me here again on a regular basis. I’ve since grown to appreciate your political activism, willingness to help neophyte activists learn, and most of all your patriotic stance on our country as a Constitutional Republic. Now, about those physical threats? Consider Pepper Spray. Comes in two varieties: Canine and Bear. Both are legal in Illinois as far as I can tell, and are supposedly very, very effective. (Just do some research before you buy; some brands are better designed than others for ease of use and safe handling.)

In fact, I just decided to turn down a job in Illinois because of that alone.
Make sure you always wear running shoes too so you can make a quick getaway after a spray or throwing something.
And when you get to the top of the fence and look around before getting away, flip them off. That will drive them nuts. I did that in grade school. Bullies rarely caught me.

I know exactly what you mean. I often wish I could go back to the fun old days, too.
I’m not a Republican or a Democrat, but I have been verbally trashed repeatedly, just for daring to say I’m against things like the health care plan. Held up to ridicule. You name it.
The whole thing is entirely, entirely predicated on trying to shut us up. (And almost desperately.)
For me, it’s just a drop in the bucket compared to what you guys endure, but if we speak up, we have to endure never-ending horrible, uncivilized verbal assaults that one wouldn’t inflict on a dog.
Who knew? I wasn’t aware this sort of thing was lurking beneath the surface. It’s kind of like a horror movie, where people are not what they seemed.
They will stoop to any low, and count on us being “nice” people, who will politely sit down rather than engage these lunatics.
But like you, I will not shut up.
I hope Brown wins.
In any case, I know this is going to be a long-haul thing, but I’ll be danged if I let them shout and curse me into submission.
Hang in there. I know it practically ruins a person’s life, and can be very depressing, very psychologically wearing. But it’s worth it. It’s nothing compared to what our entire futures could be, if we don’t.

Seriously tho, I was almost scared to get my hopes up about HMcA… but after celebrating NJ and VA victories, it didn’t take much to get me in gear!
It has been AMAZING to watch the left go apoplectic over this race… and Martha, martha, martha, could she TRY any harder to lose this race? As many have said, she makes it easy to vote for Brown.
It’s nuts. Totally nuts. Every day it feels like the history chapters I studied on corruption have sprung to life. Freaking Tammany 2.0 and people seriously believe the “we’re doing it for the people” bull. Pissed? Yeah I am. cause I believed it too, and until 2 years ago, was actively trying to help get these morons elected.
Seeing people I used to consider decent rational adults spew vitriol now that they’re in power, that’s creepy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a less tolerant administration (and believe me I was protesting the last one with all my heart).
If you’d told me 3 years ago even, that I’d vote straight republican to make a point, consider myself somewhere between conservative (in the political not social sense) and libertarian, start listening to country music mostly to piss of people around me LOL and actually discover I like it… want to move because I’m tired of liberal hypocrisy and DC drama… I would have blamed alien involvement or illegal substances.
But as most of you know, being a Hillary supporter in the primary gave many of us a firsthand taste of the Democratic Underbelly. The level of hatred is so disturbing I can’t even put it into words. Keep fighting, but keep safe too.

As audience members streamed out of Pres. Obama’s rally on behalf of AG Martha Coakley (D) here tonight, the consensus was that the fault for Coakley’s now-floundering MA SEN bid lies with one person — George W. Bush.
“People are upset because there’s so many problems,” Rosemary Kverek, 70, a retired Charleston schoolteacher said as tonight’s rally wrapped up. “But the problems came from the previous administration. So we’re blaming poor Obama, who’s working 36 hours a day … to solve these problems that he inherited.”
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), speaking with a gaggle of reporters after the event, said that while state Sen. Scott Brown (R) offers voters a quick fix, in reality, the problems created by “George Bush and his cronies” are not so easily solved.
“If you think there’s magic out there and things can be turned around overnight, then you would vote for someone who could promise you that, like Scott Brown,” Kennedy said. “If you don’t, if you know that it takes eight years for George Bush and his cronies to put our country into this hole … then you know we have a lot of digging to do, but some work needs to be done and this president’s in the process of doing it and we need to get Marcia Coakley to help him to do that.”
(Curiously, Kennedy mentioned Coakley repeatedly during his remarks to reporters, each time referring to her as “Marcia,” not “Martha.”)
More Kennedy: “One thing the Democrats have done wrong? We haven’t kept the focus on this disaster on the Republicans who brought it upon us. We’ve tried too hard to do that right thing, and that’s to fix it, as opposed to spend more of our time and energy pointing the finger at who got us [here] in the first place.”
Blaming their problems on Bush does carry a risk for Dems, however — with their sights so firmly focused on the past, Brown’s campaign has managed to wrest the “change” mantle from them.
Meanwhile, even as Kennedy took on both Bush and Brown head-on, some attendees were more muted in their criticism of Brown.
“I mean, he is handsome,” Christine DiPitro, 61, of Malden, said of Brown.
“He does appeal to the regular guy with his truck, but that’s about all.”

This is just awful news. I’ve been thinking about this all morning. Do you know any law enforcement people you can trust? Most detectives know of forensic techies that can track down an IP address in minutes if it’s not been hidden behind a crapload of overseas tricks. If you can get the IP address tracked to a company, a person, you can get the snail address. Then you can go to law enforcement to file a complaint. You can also get a judge to order them to stop. And then you can sue them for stalking, harassment, and bad grammar.

Also…I think IL is NOT a Concealed Carry state…but, given threats made against you (and your property) are there provisions for IL residents to exercize their Second Amendment rights? I have encountered so many UNDECIDEDS today. It is not too late to garner their votes. Despite polls in our favor, my Dad can rattle off huge surprises where the polls got it ALL wrong. I have joined forces with other Americans to get the word out and have to say that this fight to knock the chair out from under the socialist agenda this administration is trying to shove down your throats is worth the fight!

I am glad to see others are feeling the same way and are willing to fight the good fight NOT for the Democrat Party, but FOR the United States of America. NATION FIRST! PARTY SECOND! We don’t see eye to eye on many issues; but it is certainly true that the left in America is getting ever more shrill and unhinged.
In 1979, Jimmy Carter turned me from a Democrat to a Republican. In 2006, GW Bush turned me from a Republican to an Independent. But political parties are always rather fluid about their platforms.
In 1960, a certain Dr. Fred Schwartz wrote a book called “You Can Trust The Communists (to be Communists)”. One might look at that, look at Alinsky, see Obama/ACORN/etc., and recognize a family resemblance.
Dialectic. Three steps forward, two steps back. Never trust ANYTHING a leftist promises; because if you are successful and give them power they will call you a Kulak and exterminate you. And rape your daughters to death.
No, that’s not just hyperbole. Look at the mentors of Obama’s team. Look at Mao, Stalin, Castro, and Che. Look closely.
Then look at the economy in Venezuela, Iran, Zimbabwe, and North Korea. Outages and rationing are not unintentional. The leftist wants everyone on their knees, begging for a single handful of grain, with nowhere else to obtain it.
Read what the “great” leaders wrote to their internal audiences. You’re to be exterminated.
We were blessed to get another chance in Massachusetts. We need to humbly pray that the rest of the Nation receives similar wisdom.

I believe that the radical left is now resorting to “Kamikazi” attacks on everything to the right of Marx, at their own peril. But the radical left has always been long on hate and short on common sense. As the mainstream media collapses these hatemongers will no longer be afforded the cover they once enjoyed, and the common citizen will truly see them for the extremist hatemongers that they’ve always been.

This is nothing new and it happens on both sides of the aisle.
Speak to the “RINOs” on the other side who are threatened everyday on every Right leaning blog in America.
Speak to Dee Dee Scozzafava who made the mistake of being a Republican who supported Unions and was Pro-Choice. Interesting you would mention Michelle Malkin, who led the charge against Dee Dee. She led it full force so I have no sympathy for her.
Contact Dee Dee and interview her, ask her first hand what she endured; the threats, the hate mail because she had the nerve to believe in what she believed in and the nerve to run against Doug Hoffman in NY 23.
Speak to Meg Whitman and ask her what kind of hate mail she received after Michelle and other Far Right bloggers posted that Meg said Van Jones was doing a good job in Oakland.
Meghan McCain is another brunt of their wrath, interview her as well. The name calling and fat jokes against Meghan on all of their blogs is really beyond the pale.
The Far Left and The Far Right have taken over both sides of the aisle my friend, but the far Right is far more scarier. Remember they are the folks who embrace that Second Amendment and love their guns. The Far Left, like Kos and Move-On are for gun control, if they had their way all guns would be rounded up and destroyed.
One other thing, these people who are so fervently defending you are on The Right are the Conservative trolls, the counterpart of what you are up against on The Left.
Although they will never admit it.
Good luck, you may want to find some allies more in the Moderate genre of the GOP.
I would love to see you do a post interviewing both Meg Whitman, Meghan and Dee Dee, I think it would be very enlightening fair and balanced look at how the extremes on both sides have destroyed our political system.

The tea parties illustrates that plainly where people of all stripes have joined in a common cause that of rescuing our country from the hands of socialist fascists. Political parties mean little today although many of those who run under the Democrat banner seem to have swallowed the socialist koolade. The dividing line now and has really always been is between those who would be freemen and those who would be subjects. May God give you the courage and strenght to carry on.

You’re not alone. This former liberal democrat, who has been defending her former party since she was a teenager until starting in ’06 her eyes started being opened, and who finally re-affiliated in the fall of ’09 has been there and done that. I’ve been called a “right wing troll” and “corporate whore” on dem blogs, forums and mailing lists for years now, and most recently, when calling Senator Sheldon Whitehouse’s DC office to demand he address the poverty and homelessness faced by citizens (who happen to be black, and brown as well as white) in my state due to the corruption of the democrat party. I started contributing to Scott Brown’s campaign when I started receiving fundraising begging emails from the DSCC, to give money to Coakley’s campaign and after that first contribution I telephoned the DSCC to tell them why I was and how I now was committed to working and giving towards the day the democrat party, that has regressed to it’s shameful former status as the party of slavery and Jim Crow, is consigned to the rubbish bin of history. That I was fed up with being insulted by them, and that the only time they wanted to hear from us, was when they wanted us to write a check or give them our credit card number.
You’re spot on that they can’t engage in honest debate on the subject, and need to attempt to silence us because of that. They are proof why the left are in aid of only despotism and destruction. They need to be stopped.
Keep on speaking truth to their presumption of power, and remember you’re not alone. Reading your article makes me proud to be in such brave company.

Frankly, I think the SCOTUS screwed the pooch on this one. While a corporation may be a legally constructed entity, it is NOT an individual. An individual is a person, the very thing that we held a revolution to protect. Not a corporation. A corporation has no more RIGHTS than a piece of paper. Our system of government was based on the inalienable rights of MAN. To even propose that corporations should enjoy First Amendment protections is tantamount to suggesting that they should enjoy the vote.
Furthermore a corporation is something that is inherently anonymous. The accused has a right to confront those accuse him, but who EXACTLY is that with a corporation? A lawyer?
Corporations exist at the sufferance of the people, when on balance thier existence is more beneficial than their absence. When we conflate a legal construct with an individual who has rights, we have made a moral and intellectual turn toward the absurd.

Well for the record, I have thought that William Jefferson Clinton is morally bankrupt (ever since I was a young Lietenant in the Army.)
But having said that, I would have to say in retrospect that he was an effective President. Did I agree with his policies? For the most part, no. But he was the second best President we have had in the last fifty years or so, and one who compared to Obama is a paragon of Americanism. (Reagan was the best, but you probably figured that out)
The hope that I hold today is for the flickering flame of patriots who remember the blood, labor and sacrifice of those who went before- and what they fought for. Not a nation of victims nor taxpayers, but a nation of free men and women who have the courage to live their lives without much of a safety net so that some may fulfill the American Dream- even if it is someone else.
The demogogues and the pundits hate this. They hate the idea of a nation of potential heroes. They prefer a nation of cowards who will sell their Liberty for the illusion of safety.
Both sides of the aisle currently (at least among the party elites) selling their own partucular brand of snake oil to quell the savage fear of the unknown.
But as for me, I will salute the courage of an American (D or R or I) who will stand up to the vacuous drivel pouring out of Washington, and from those who would pull the strings there.
For that reason, even if I am wholly unconvinced of another Clinton Presidency, do I salute and stand united with these patriots here who by there very words do I recognize as kindred spirits.

If burning a flag in the street is free speech, then so are political contributions, especially when made in the open. If the reformers in Congress want to clean up elections, then force immediate reporting on the Internet of all contributions to all presidential, Senate, and Congressional races, and full weekly financial reports on expenditures. That will do more than all of the speech-restricting, unconstitutional efforts made since Watergate, and make the entire system a lot more honest.

Me, I would just like to silence the rants and ravings of the loons on both sides.
I truly believe GOP candidate Dee Dee Scozzafava, GOP Cadidate Meg Whitman and John McCain’s daughter were savaged by the Tea Party Patriots and the Far Right bloggers, and I truly believe this blogger here has been mistreated and savaged by the loons on the Far Left.
They are all cut from the same stinky remnant, the extremes on both sides have these weird purity tests that all are expected to pass in order not to be attacked; or in order to be worthy as “their kind of candidate”.
The way some of these posters are going on about the Far Left and how this blogger has been treated, they should take a moment and post a dissenting point of view at a Right leaning blog and watch what happens.
I am just very leery of how suddenly these Far Right bloggers are offering a shoulder to lean on to a Hillary supporter.
I’m doubtful that it’s really all that sincere; it’s more of a “let’s all hate Obama together” deal.

Socialism is probably the most destructive fraud in history. With its foundation in eugenics, it has been the basis for the slaughter of over 100 million innocents. From Mao to Stalin to Hitler to Pol Pot to Kim Il Sung to Castro, the end always justifies the means – and when that means is a Darwinist survival of the fittest, then millions die. I am constantly amazed at the whitewash of history being performed in the classrooms and colleges where the professors laud the wonders of socialism and when confronted by its horrors resort to diatribe. Even more amazing is the glorification of terrorists like Che who appear on tee-shirts as if there deeds did not matter or were in pursuit of some socialist glory.
What we see now with obama and the Democrat Congress is the international socialistic intentions being pushed forward under the banner of progressivism. It is nothing but old wine in new skins – and it is every bit as tainted.
