Democrats playing with dangerous fire: admit to plan to not seat Senator Brown until after Healthcare Rationing vote
Democrats have made a critical mistake in Massachusetts.
This needs to go viral — everyone you know needs to read this. Democrats have admitted to a scheme to ram through the Healthcare Rationing vote before Scott Brown can be sworn in as Senator, should he defeat his Democrat opponent on January 19th.
Paul Kirk, currently serving as interim Senator in Massachusetts, has declared that Brown, if he should be elected, will be delayed from any voting in Washington for as long as possible. Masssachusett’s Soros-funded Secretary of State, the corrupt William Galvin, has promised to do everything he can to stall the certification of Republican Brown “so that Democrats can pass the healthcare bill”.
Governor Deval Patrick, Senator Kirk, and Secretary Galvin fully intend to steal the will of the people and jam this Healthcare Rationing bill through the Senate, election be damned, no matter what the people of Massachusetts want.
Martha Coakley remains on vacation regarding all this, not bothering to comment on any of it. “Why should I?,” we imagine her asking, “I’ve already won this. It’s the Kennedy Seat. I get it next. Caroline Kennedy said so. Vicki Kennedy said so. Other Kennedys said so. It’s mine, and I’m going to vote the way Harry Reid tells me, and I think it’s good Deval and Paul and William intend to do everything they can to prevent Scott Brown from ever voting in the Senate. I think this is all funny. I must, or I would be out there condemning it. Remind me why I’m back from vacation talking to you again?”.
This is despicable.
It’s going to backfire on Democrats in a very big way.
It’s the kind of thing that, if this happened in Illinois, we’d actually take to the streets and riot over, screaming and yelling and demanding the government be dissolved and new elections be held for Governor and Secretary of State.
Here’s Scott Brown’s response to this madness:
“This is a stunning admission by Paul Kirk and the Beacon Hill political machine,” said Brown in a statement. “Paul Kirk appears to be suggesting that he, Deval Patrick, and (Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid intend to stall the election certification until the health care bill is rammed through Congress, even if that means defying the will of the people of Massachusetts. As we’ve already seen from the backroom deals and kickbacks cut by the Democrats in Washington, they intend to do anything and everything to pass their controversial health care plan. But threatening to ignore the results of a free election and steal this Senate vote from the people of Massachusetts takes their schemes to a whole new level. Martha Coakley should immediately disavow this threat from one of her campaign’s leading supporters.”

Palin supporters: welcome to our deja vu all over again
Here’s the absolute stupidest thing we’ve heard in a great while, an article on Real Clear Politics talking about how much GOP insiders want Mitt Romney to be the Republican 2012 nominee. It’s more of the same “it’s his turn” suicidal garbage that nominated Bob Dole in 1996 and John McCain in 2008.
And remember, in both cases, the MSM worked hard to get the Republicans to run the candidate they wanted pitted against the Democrat.
We had no complaint with that whatsoever back in 1996, because we wanted the Clintons to have a second term, so we thought it was just great the MSM pushed “elder statesman” Dole to the Republican nomination, and thought it was even more wonderful Republicans didn’t stop to think whether “it’s his turn” is a good enough reason to nominate someone. As much as we respect Senator Dole, and wish him and his wife Elizabeth the very best, we’re so happy Republicans were dumb enough to give us the exact candidate we wanted to run against to ensure the Clintons their second term.
In 2008, we genuinely liked McCain as a man, and worked our hearts out for him because we did not want Dr. Utopia to become president, but in the end we wonder if McCain even wanted to win. Sarah Palin had the right idea: she wanted to fight harder, to smack Utopia with his connections to Jeremiah Wright, to make him explain why he (to this day) refuses to release any of his school records or other vital information (which everyone else who’s ever run for president has done), and to better illustrate to the American people just how socialist and crazy a Utopian presidency would be (which we are now seeing for our own eyes, when Palin wanted to clearly describe this to people two years ago).
The MSM pushed McCain as the “it’s his turn” candidate for Republicans, and Republicans listened.
Well, now the MSM is doing the same thing with Romney, pushing him as the “it’s his turn” candidate, and repeatedly using every excuse they can to say “nobody wants Sarah Palin to run for president”.
Well, we want her to run…and we will devote our lives for two years to make sure she wins.
Governor Palin, feel free to take us up on that any time you want. You have our email. We are just waiting to work for you. For free if we have to. You really are our only hope.
“GOP insiders” are fools.
We know enough of them to be able to talk from experience on that. One of the absolute worst things they do is decide to lose before the race is even begun. Part of it is that nonsensical “it’s his turn” thing. We agree Romney would have been a better pick than McCain in 2008, and that there’s a better chance Romney would have won, if conservatives did not stay home and refuse to vote in the last election the way they refused to vote for McCain (who they claimed “was not Republican enough”). The MSM made sure Mike Huckabee won the Iowa Caucus, so that Romney was denied the nomination…and instead it would go to McCain, so that conservatives were guaranteed to sit home in a year when they would be most needed to counter all the MSM cheerleading amongst moderates and Independents for Dr. Utopia.
Now, the MSM is promoting Romney as the best candidate for 2012, and we are telling you, as people who have been through this nightmare before, that Palin supporters need to get out in front of this nonsense somehow and stop letting the MSM and DNC select the Republican nominee.
We comment frequently that the MSM and DNC have colluded to put Five Horsemen of Republican Apocalypse forward for 2012: Romney, Tim Pawlenty, John Thune, Charlie Crist, and either John Huntsman, Haley Barbour, Bobby Jindal, or some other boring or ugly man. Intolerably boring. Unbelievably ugly. People who look like they are made of mayonnaise and bathroom caulk, with the personalities of uninteresting dead cadavers.
THAT’S who the MSM wants to run against Dr. Utopia in 2012.

Do you ever wonder if the MSM and “GOP insiders” receive their checks from the same place?
Because it sure feels they have the same goal, and are working on the same payroll.
As Hillary Clinton supporters, we watched the DNC and MSM work in concert starting as far back as 2004 to make Dr. Utopia the nominee and our 44th president. The Utopia campaign had complete support from both entities from Day One. The Clintons were outmaneuvered because the deck was always stacked against them…not starting with the Iowa Caucus, as people seem to think, but starting back in the summer of 2004 when the DNC made preparations for what to do once John Kerry lost.
Republicans don’t seem to understand this, but Democrats plan for elections YEARS in advance, and don’t wait until a few months before voting day to get their act together. Democrats also have, forever waiting to go, the likes of ACORN and the SEIU on their side…forever set to take wing, like malicious harpies and goblins, always up to no good.
Doh, doh, doh…meanwhile, Republicans are at a cocktail party, then a wine tasting, and most likely fighting about which ones of them can be in the SUPER VIP reception and which ones have to settle for being regular VIPs.
We truly, honest to goodness, wish we were kidding.
The reason the MSM and “GOP insiders” keep working the “it’s his turn” game is because Republicans spend too much time at those cocktail parties with their eyes off the game…and so it’s easy to slip a Mitt Romney 2012 campaign into the national scene since Republicans, at large, haven’t invested themselves in anyone else in the years between elections (unlike Democrats). So, when the MSM does this in 2012 for Romney, Republicans will fall in line and say, “Oh, I remember Romney. He ran last time. Let’s run him at the top this time so he can lose some more and then we can sit on our butts and not even bother to vote as all of our liberties are taken away and the socialist in the White House steals everything I ever worked for to redistribute it to people who don’t work. More cocktails, please! I thirsty!”.
We don’t want Sarah Palin to wait until February 6th, 2011 to announce her campaign for president, which is Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday. We know she’s waiting to do this for the symbolism of it, but we want her to just come out and say she’s running now.
Hillary Clinton’s biggest mistake in life was not running for president in 2004, when she would have won against Bush, in our opinion. If the Kerry race was as close as it was, and Clinton would have taken Arkansas and Tennessee as we expect she would have, the presidency would have been hers. But, she was told by the DNC to wait, so they could screw her over with Dr. Utopia, and she listened.
She also listened when the DNC kept telling her to wait and wait to announce her candidacy. She waited until February 2007…and then waited to really start campaigning until late summer 2007, without really hitting Iowa seriously until very late December of that year.
She should have hit the ground running in 2006…campaigning hard in Iowa and New Hampshire starting in early 2007, and never letting up.
There was no benefit to waiting to announce her run — not to her at least. Dr. Utopia benefitted greatly, though.
Just as the MSM and “DNC insiders” wanted.
They are going to do the same damn thing to Sarah Palin.
We will shout and shout and shout about this and hope someone hears us and tells the Alaskans close to the Palins that if she really wants to be president, there are many who will help her, but none of us can do a thing until she announces her run.
It’s either going to be Palin or Romney as the nominee. Palin will be the 45th president if she wants it. Romney will join Dole and McCain in the “favored by the MSM and GOP insiders club of presidential losers”.
The trick is making sure the MSM does not, indeed, foist Romney on Republicans. They are already starting their machinations on his behalf.
Who’s out there watching Palin’s back?
Because we are telling you this — and we hope you listen — that the MSM and GOP will work together to stab her in the back the way the MSM and DNC colluded to do the same thing to Hillary Clinton.
Only we, collectively, can stop that.
Our Condolences to Vice President Biden on the Passing of His Mother, Catherine
Thank you Catherine Biden for being a great mom -- rest in peace!
Please include Vice President Biden and his family in your prayers tonight and at services this weekend, because of the passing of his mother, Catherine.
Whatever opinion you have of Biden himself, or the job he’s doing as Vice President, we want you to pause for just a moment and consider the IMMENSE PRIDE his mother Catherine must have felt upon watching her son become Vice President.
It is only because of our parents and all they teach us that any of us succeed or ever amount to anything. Catherine Biden died today at the age of 92, having seen her son reach heights she probably never dreamed of for him.
How wonderful that must have been for a mother.
We never had the chance to meet this woman, but we heard very nice things about her through the years, in assorted stories about Biden and his antics in Delaware. She wasn’t the firecracker that is Roberta McCain, or the familiar face Dorothy Rodham is to most of us around here, but we want to honor her place in American history tonight, as a mom who set her child on a course towards the very heights of our government.
What an impressive feat.
She must have been a great mom indeed.

Red Team, Blue Team, Green Team, Gold Team
Per the “Stop the Death Star” thread for Scott Brown below, here’s an idea we have for getting four teams going to help Scott Brown — aka Hottie McAwesome — take down said Death Star on January 19th.
The Rebel Alliance had a few teams in the air in the Battle of Yavin as Luke Skywalker made his way towards his goal: Red Team, Blue Team, Green Team, Gold Team, as we remember it (noting, with certainly, Star Wars fans will correct us any second now…but we’re going with these four anyway).
What are four things you can be doing for Scott Brown in the leadup to January 19th?
Red Team = Make calls for him, via his campaign’s phone bank system (red hotline to voters)
Blue Team = Get on the computer and go on every board and forum you can think of that would have Independents, moderates, and conservatives on it who want the Healthcare Rationing Death Star to bite the dust…and encourage them to vote and empower them with your energy to spread the word about Hottie McAwesome on their own (the blue glow of your computer screen gives the team the name)
Green Team = Can you donate to Hottie McAwesome’s campaign? If his campaign was smart, they’d be selling autographed centerfolds of him. We’d sure buy 12. But, since they probably won’t do that, maybe you can just pretend…send Scott Brown what you would if he really WAS going to send you an autographed centerfold…or better yet, send him what you’d tip him if he was able to show up at your door, sans staples, in all his 80s 22-year-old glory. (green = cash)
Gold Team = Chaos, which is more golden than silence. Use Liberal mind tricks against them. Go on Liberal blogs and talk about how there’s no way Scott Brown can win. Tell Liberals the election is January 20th, which is the one year anniversary of “President Obama’s historic election”. That’s a wonderful lie to repeat to these loons because it sounds so legit, and Liberals are planning on making that day a national holiday anyway for “The One” (in Hawaii, they’ve already started on this). Another good story to spread is that ‘Joe Kennedy’ is really the son, grandson, or nephew of Ted Kennedy but had to run as a Libertarian for (insert reason here). Hopefully, enough crazy Liberals will muscle-memory vote Kennedy to snag the votes from Coakley that will put Brown over the top.

Oh, Lordy, here comes a Star Wars metaphor.
Us being children of the 80s, it’s like playing Wheel of Analogies with the Jem, He-Man, Thundercats, Star Wars, Transformers, or Dynasty references we forever keep in play around here. And, don’t you know our dads just LOVED all the Jem and Dynasty references we made as kids, which have continued unabated into our 30s here in Boystown. But, they were the ones who wanted us to watch cartoons with bodybuilders and giant cat people running around in their underpants, so you can’t blame all the gay on shoulder pads and holograms.
80s tie-ins to movies and TV shows are typically are first go-to for anything around here.
But, whenever we think about Scott Brown running for Senate in Massachusetts, we can’t help but think about how damn handsome he is…and the fact that he is a former Cosmo centerfold. That man is hot. 80s centerfold we would never in a million years been allowed to have for ourselves hot.
And then we start thinking about how awesome he is, because the only thing better than a centerfold is a man who’s served in uniform…and Brown’s a 30 year veteran of the Army, a Lt. Colonel. He’s also a triathlete, an accomplished lawyer, a self-made man, and father to two, by all accounts, wonderful daughters. Husband, father, military man, athlete, AWESOME.
The Star Wars stuff comes in right about now,because Star Wars, too, is awesome (at least it was before George Lucas started screwing with it in those prequels) as we think about Hottie McAwesome suiting up for an X-wing mission to bring down the House of Kennedy in Massachusetts once and for all, while delivering a death blow to Democrats’ Death Care plans in the Senate.
Scrappy, come from behind, centerfold Hottie McAwesome has a clear shot, against incredible odds, to do to the Democrats’ 60-vote death grip in the Senate what a young Luke Skywalker did to Darth Vader’s favorite new toy.

We are a growing and committed Resistance of people who may have not had much in common before 2008. These are strange times, and what the Democrats want to do to this nation is even stranger. For the first time in American history, the party in power wants the country to go BACKWARDS.
They want to shut down industries and bankrupt coal producing states because Al Gore, High Priest of the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming, tells them that’s the best way for Gore to make billions off “green technology upgrades”, which are unreliable at best, and at worst put us further at the mercy of China (which controls something like 80% of the rare earth elements needed to make those solar panels and wind turbines…ironically enough, the same kind the Kennedy Family has repeatedly prevented from being installed anywhere near their palace at Hyannis Port).
Democrats insist on ramming through damaging Healthcare Rationing legislation, without fully reading it, let alone understanding all of its ramifications on this country. Doctors are going to be forced out of business. The elderly are going to lose access to physicians and will be forced to pay more for substandard care. Young people will be unconstitutionally forced to buy products they do not want, because Democrats want to line the pockets of private insurers who, incidentally, write massive campaign checks to Democrats.
The current Healthcare Rationing bill is a Death Star of greed and corruption.
Senators Nelson, Landrieu, Dodd, and others forever shamed themselves, and the Senate they sit in, by porking this bill up with every bribe they could imagine. Landrieu, in particular, was so proud of herself she practically danced before the cameras announcing her pigfest of a bribe. Nelson, the most shameless of all, turned every Nebraskan into a perpetual welfare queen — working a bribe for his vote into the bill that forces the other 49 states to pay Nebraska’s way in Medicare cost overruns, in exchange for Nebraskans picking up the tab for abortions performed in other states.
Shameless.
Revolting.
Disgusting.
This is what the Senate is like with 60 Democrats in it.
If Ben Nenlson, in particular, had any shame or decency he would resign immediately so that Nebraska’s governor could appoint a Republican successor to him who would cripple Harry Reid’s ability to ram dangerous legislation through the Senate.
We all know that Whore of the Senate Ben Nelson has no shame.
So, Scott Brown in Massachusetts is truly our only hope.
Right now, that mostrosity of a Healthcare Rationing bill is crowning slowly, inching towards us, like the Death Star barreling down upon the rebel base on Yavin IV.
Democrats are firing up the giant space laser, which is zeroing in on all of us.
They will take away your ability to choose whether or not you buy products, which is unconstitutional.
They will take thousands of dollars of your hard-earned money for this scheme, or throw you in jail if you stand up for your rights.
They’ve made welfare queens of Nebraskans and whores of Senators, so what will they do to you next?
They are hellbent on destroying the American economy so they can reshape it into the Socialist Utopia the current administration’s been dreaming about for years.
We have only one shot to stop this…and it is electing Scott Brown to the Senate on January 19th.
It would be the equivalent of launching that sole torpedoe into the air shaft leading to the Death Star’s reactor…when few believed it was possible, and only one young guy was brave enough to try.
Winning the Massachusetts Senate seat and stopping Healthcare Rationing dead in its tracks would be the first great victory of The American Resistance.
It’s going to be a long, hard slog to drive the 60 Liberals from the Senate in 2010 and beyond, and to take back the White House from socialist loons in 2012.
But, an upset in Massachusetts would be for The American Resistance what taking down the Death Star was for the Star Wars rebels.
We need teams across the country helping Hottie McAwesome score tha upset on January 19th.
We need an unprecedented effort from the grassroots to reach out to Independents and rational people in Massachusetts and make sure they know electing Brown is the ONLY WAY POSSIBLE to take down the Death Star.
It’s coming for us, people.
It will destroy America as we know it.
But, it is NOT invincible.
We have this one shot…this one candidate…this one moment in time to do something.
Because without a win for Hottie McAwesome on January 19th, we’re all going to be out of luck.
Senator Evan Bayh is in big trouble in Indiana
Though it pains us to call him one, after what he did Christmas week in voting for the Healthcare Rationing bill, Evan Bayh very much is a Joker
More on this later when we have time to tell you the whole story, but here in Chicago there’s a push going out from big donors we know from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Evan Bayh seems to be in a lot of trouble in Indiana.
This is a very tough predicament for us to be in, because we got to spend a decent amount of time with Bayh at several campaign stops for Clinton in 2008. We like the man. He, or Ted Strickland, would be Vice President right now in an alternate reality where we didn’t fail to win the nomination for Hillary Clinton.
But, we are so disgusted by all 60 Democrats in the Senate right now for not stopping the unconstitutional monstrosity that is the Healthcare Rationing Bill that, despite our past positive feelings for him, we think Evan Bayh should be booted from the Senate.
All it took was one Democrat — JUST ONE — to tell Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the White House that more time was needed for the public, let alone the Senators voting, to understand what was really in the Healthcare Rationing Bill before voting on it.
Evan Bayh had the chance to stand up, courageously, and tell Democrats they were operating in the dead of night, in secret, contrary to all their promises they would handle healthcare in the open following the wishes of the people.
Bayh could have ground everything to a halt and FORCED Democrats to behave responsibly, sensibly, and in the manner they promised in 2008.
He didn’t.
That was his choice.
We just can’t support him anymore after that.
And the same holds true for all Democrats in the Senate.
These people can’t be trusted, and should not be in office.
So, we’re saying no to the requests to help fundraise and campaign for Bayh in Indiana. It’s more bridges we’re burning with people who keep score here in Chicago, but we just can’t help anyone who votes for this monstrosity. The manner in which this bill was rammed through at Christmas in the dead of night so appalls us, we want every last one of these Jokers ejected from office at the first available opportunity.
Though it pains us to side against Evan Bayh, we feel Evan Bayh sided against us in the Nightmare Before Christmas.
