Great Merciful Zeus, that is one fine-looking man. He also happens to be the ONLY hope any of us have of saving this nation from the insane Healthcare Rationing bill the 60 Democrat fools in the Senate insist on foisting upon us against our will. There is only one angle left open to us from which we can stop the destruction of our economy and the ruination of our healthcare system: that angle is the former centerfold, Scott Brown, HOTTIE McAWESOME.
Last night, we had a conversation with a good friend of ours heavily involved in machine politics here in Illinois, who told us we need to stop helping Scott Brown.
If we ever wanted to work in this town again, that is.
We’ve gotten that threat so many times, now, we long ago stopped listening.
“This time you need to listen, though, because you need to be aware of who you are making mad this time,” our friend said. “The Obama people hate you, so Liberal bridges are burned forever with you. Going after Mark Kirk and Aaron Schock has the Republicans upset with you, so you’re on bad terms there. And now, taking on Martha Coakley is pissing Clinton people off, because Martha was a big Hillary supporter and Emily’s list is behind her, so you are alienating the last people who still like you. If you want to work in politics, you are running out of options, especially here in Chicago”.
For starters, the Obama people can go Obama themselves. Those Utopians, while chanting “Hope and Change!” in 2008, threw rocks through our windows, threatened to kill us, called us RAAACISTS every day, and harassed us by phone, email, and in person for the better part of two years — all because we didn’t support a man we knew well here in Chicago, someone we believed was unqualified, ill-prepared, and too dangerous of a socialist to have in the White House. So, forgive us if we never in our lives want to work for any Liberal candidates EVER. Those people are crazy. They are thugs, bullies, and allies of ACORN and the SEIU, both of which we believe to be criminal organizations. If not domestic terrorists. So, no thanks to ever being on a Liberal’s campaign. No matter how much we need the money, we just won’t go there.
As for Republicans, for some reason we’ve become a favorite target in regards to Kirk and Schock, but we haven’t told you anything that even young children in Chicago already know. We do not want to see Democrat Alexi Giannoulias become the next US Senator from Illinois. This is the same position we were in in 2008, in not wanting Dr. Utopia to win the Dems’ nomination, before not wanting him to win the General Election and become president. Giannoulias is going to win the Dem primary in a cake walk…so we’ve skipped ahead to try to do everything we can to keep him from winning the General Election. Mark Kirk, the likely Republican nominess, will not beat Giannoulias because Democrats are going to out Kirk in the race, exposing him as a liar. At every single Republican event we’ve ever gone to, people talk openly about Mark Kirk being gay, with more than a few of them telling us we need to look into who Kirk shares a condo with in Washington, because they insist there’s something going on there. We’ve never taken the time to do that, because we have no interest whatsoever in figuring out which Republicans are gay and which ones aren’t. A few cocktails at young Republican gatherings usually works wonders to that end — as there isn’t anything that comes off faster than Brooks Brothers blazers and Dockers when an open bar is rocking.
We keep trying to warn Republicans that Kirk should not be their nominee, for the simple fact that we want to see the Republican win that Senate seat. Kirk will not win, for two reasons: (1) his vote for Cap & Tax and (2) he will be outed and exposed as a liar.
It’s not the fact that he’s gay that will sink him. It is 2010, and we do not believe Republicans, even the most conservative, would vote against someone because he is gay. We do, however, think people will vote, in droves, against A LIAR. Kirk claims to be one thing but is another. If he does that with one part of his life, what else is he doing it with. The man cannot be trusted, and Democrats are planning to make sure voters know that. We know for a fact this will be one of the paths of attack Giannoulias will use against Kirk.
Just because we go to Republican dinners and cocktail hours these days doesn’t mean we ever stopped going to Democrat ones.
Some of you howl that we “need to stop outing people!”. As far as we’re concerned, Kirk’s not “in”. We moved to Chicago about five years ago. One of the first things we heard in the gay community here was that Mark Kirk is gay. We have heard that repeatedly and consistently since, from both Democrats and Republicans. If we talked about the sky being blue, it would be less common knowledge than this about Kirk.
What’s really interesting is that the LGBTQ community is mad at us too, regarding Kirk and Schock, because we “are messing up the plan”, apparently. LGBTQ activists have been blackmailing Kirk for years in Washington, getting him to vote the way they wanted on various bills, so that no one would “out” him in The Advocate, Genre, Instinct and the other major gay magazines. That’s the big threat the LGBTQ community uses: do what we want, and we keep your secret, but step out of line and run for an office we don’t want you to win, and you are toast, Mary. Kirk’s about to find out that the LGBTQ community was fine with him being a Congressman, but that Democrats do not want the Republicans to win the Illinois Senate seat, so all the old deals are off.
We are telling Republicans this is going to happen so next month they can, while they still have a chance, field a candidate for the Senate who will not implode according to the long-standing plan Democrats had in place to take out Kirk when the time came.
The GOP’s mascot is technically an elephant, but it really should be an ostritch.
Just because you want to pretend something isn’t going to happen doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. If Republicans really want to run Kirk so badly, because they delusionally believe he can overcome the Cap & Tax business, then have him come out now before Giannoulias can use his lying about this against him. If not, the scion of the mob’s banking family will be the next illustrious Senator from Illinois, in a seat the GOP could have picked up if it had run someone without the fatal flaws of Kirk.
It’s the same thing with Schock. He’s being groomed to run against Dick Durbin in 2014. He is a nice, nice guy who the MSM is building up so that they can tear him down in 2014. He’s handsome and vain, which is a dangerous combination in politics. When the MSM runs photos of him shirtless, frolicking with big-busted bikini-clad babes poolside, Liberals are restaging the old Hollywood Photoplay shoots for Rock Hudson, Troy Donohue, and Tab Hunter. Get Schock to play the Liberace game, create a false facade, and lie to voters claiming he is straight — when any time he’s in Chicago he turns up in Boystown. Just because he goes to bars like MiniBar, which does NOT allow the local photographers working the bar scene in to take snaps of patrons (unlike other bars like Sidetracks, Roscoes, Cocktail, SPIN, Lucky Horseshoe, etc. that allow the Boystown equivalent of papparazzi to work the crowds taking shots for publication in the three or four local Chicago gay magazines and papers), does not mean he’s keeping a low profile…and it does not mean photos do not exist of him having a gay old time here in Boystown.
Democrats think and plan in the long term. They love building a file on a Republican and using that file, and the pressure of outing, to force that Republican to vote the way they want him to. Voters should know that someone they are sending to Congress to represent them will instead first be representing those who are blackmailing him.
We maintain that if Schock comes out of the closet now, he’ll defeat Dick Durbin in 2014 and become a United States Senator. We promise we would work for his campaign. He’d be a great-looking, smart, well-dressed, young Republican gay man giving a whole new face to gays in politics. The Left would not know how to defeat him. The editors of Advocate and the other gay rags would be apoplectic, because there’d be no way to tear him down. We think he’d ultimately become Vice President. Who knows how far he’d go…if he would just come out.
If we see you in bars out in Boystown, with our own eyes, we think it’s fair to talk about seeing you out in bars in Boystown. Why should we pretend we didn’t see you there, still wearing the exact same white polo and khackis you wore to the Republican event you just spoke at in Wrigleyville about an hour and a half before? What good does playing make-believe do anyone, including yourself?
We want to see Giannoulias lose in 2010 and Durbin lose in 2014. If Republicans insist on running candidates we know for a fact Democrats have plans in place to bring down, we will try our level best, at highest volume, to warn Republicans against making mistakes that will cost them those seats. Go ahead and hate on us all you want for that, but you have no idea how terrible it will be to have the mob banking Giannoulias family in control of a United States Senate seat. The damage that will be done is unfathomable.
So, that’s how we’ve managed to tick off Liberals and Republicans lately, but not supporting Martha Coakley’s been the most costly thing we’ve done lately.
As we told you many times, it was a GRUELING decision for us to make because we are so grateful to the courage Coakley showed in standing with Hillary Clinton in 2008 when the Kennedys, John Kerry, Deval Patrick, and Democrats in Massachusetts all pressured her to back Dr. Utopia. Coakley held her ground, and remained a Clinton delegate to the end. We can only imagine the Hell the Utopians put her through. If we, as lowly volunteers, were harassed by Dr. Utopia’s supporters night and day for not backing him, we shudder to think of what they did to a public figure like Coakley.
And, yes, we always like to support a woman running for the Senate. There needs to be more women in the Senate. Some of you don’t like when we say that, but it’s the damn truth. Women are 51% of the population, but have 17% representation in the Senate. We want to see that equalized by electing excellent, capable, independent, strong, and courageous women to the Senate — women who will use their intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, and life experience to serve their consituents, and the nation at large, well.
In the case of Martha Coakley, we supported her Senate run until it was clear Democrats intended to ram the Healthcare Rationing bill through Congress, at breakneck speed, in secret, largely in the dead of night, in the runup to Christmas.
Coakley said she’d be a solid YES vote on anything Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Dr. Utopia wanted to pass. She came out and said, in no uncertain terms, that she would not think for herself or do what was best for Massachusetts and the nation. Instead, she would just do whatever the DNC told her to do. She would, thus, represent the Liberal-controlled Democrat party and not the people of Massachusetts, and Americans at large.
Martha Coakley, thus, lost our support.
The nation needs Democrats to be taken down to 59 votes so Harry Reid cannot circumvent debate and ram dangerous legislation through the Senate without anyone reading it.
It is as simple as that.
We would, in fact, campaign against Hillary Clinton herself if she did anything as dangerous and stupid as vote YES on a bill this enormous and world-changing as Healthcare Rationing. We love the woman. We would go to Hell and back for her. We’d gladly take bullets for her and work our hearts out for just about anything she wanted…as long as it didn’t harm the country we love.
We are Americans first. Clinton loyalists second. Democrats last.
Coakley’s decision to blind-vote Democrat put our support for her at odds with what’s best for this country. It’s as simple as that. In the future, we see ourselves helping Coakley, when she intends to be an independent voice doing what’s right for her constituents. At that point in time, we will work our hearts out for her. In the meantime, we are ALL ABOUT Scott Brown, HOTTIE McAWESOME.
And, that puts us in the position where moderate Democrats and feminists are mad at us now. “What do you mean you’re not supporting a woman for the Senate? And she’s a Hillary supporter, you are traitors for not backing her!”.
Nobody ever said it was easy to stand up for what you believe in.
These are strange times politically. Former enemies are now allies, and former allies morph into opponents here and there.
Our goal is to always do what we think is best for this country, not best for any party, not what’s best for any of the people we’ve always supported, and not even what’s best for ourselves personally or professionally.
We love America too much to watch it slide backwards, or veer off on a destructive track towards socialism and economic ruin.
It doesn’t matter to us who we make mad by taking the stances we do, because we’d be madder at ourselves if we didn’t do all we can to stop the destruction this White House and the current Liberal-Socialist incarnation of the DNC has in store for the nation.

FABULOUS!!!!
One of the best and most important essays I’ve ever read on HillBuzz!
Bravo!
January 5, 2010 at 2:06 pm
Ditto ! I love this post and have to check out your site daily.
Just wanted to tell you how much I admire your integrity. Never back down and show no fear. !!!
January 5, 2010 at 7:03 pm
“The Obama people can go Obama themselves”. One of the greatest things I’ve ever read on Hillbuzz.
January 5, 2010 at 1:56 pm
Good post as usual, but he’s not the ONLY hope…his election will greatly increase the chance that UtopiaRationing gets defeated, though.
Also, Harry Reid can still bribe Olympia Snowe (R-Global Warming) with a few trillion dollars worth of Medicare and Ceramic Heaters for the residents of Maine.
It won’t be over either way. But getting McA elected will help a ton.
January 5, 2010 at 5:58 pm
My thought as well. But don’t forget Collins, Snowe’s Mini Me – they can both be bought. The 2 of them have been bought so much they need to file income taxes on their Senate Bordello.
January 5, 2010 at 1:57 pm
Good for you Hillbuzz!!! Way to keep up the fight with them, you have all of us supporting you.
Just who the hell do these people think they are. I almost thought for a moment you were talking to islamofacist with the way they were threatening you. I would recommend you go no where without a video camera and get these comments on tape.
The only things these people want is POWER…that’s it. They don’t give a D*mn about our country.
P.S. If you guys need a place to hang out, you can come to Colorado and stay here….we have spare rooms and lots of food and ammo.
January 6, 2010 at 1:02 pm
Always extra rooms in Houston. We are fixin to take out ACORN and SEIU here. Our IG in republican all the way and our Gov. will be enforcing our 10th amendment rights to ignore anything Dr. Utopia passes.
And of course the added bonus of our very helpful castle laws regarding packing heat in your pocket!
January 5, 2010 at 2:11 pm
“We are Americans first. Clinton loyalists second. Democrats last”.
Love it!! Thanks for saying that.
January 5, 2010 at 2:20 pm
“Nobody ever said it was easy to stand up for what you believe in.”
Absolutely true, but as you guys are finding out, there is NOTHING that makes you feel better – and nothing that scares the Libs more – than being able to say at the end of the day, “I did what was RIGHT”. THAT is the definition of Courage, and that is the definition of a man (and a woman).
Don’t EVER be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, and don’t ever think that there aren’t lots of people who have your back – because there are!
If you ever need anyone to come up to Chi-town and give someone “what for”, you just let me know. I’m 5’0″ tall and weigh entirely too much, but I’m a tough momma from the right side of the tracks – just ask my kids; their friends are all terrified of little ol’ me!
January 5, 2010 at 2:50 pm
Teresa, why do those lefties in power now hate freedom so?
January 5, 2010 at 3:02 pm
They love power more.
January 5, 2010 at 3:09 pm
All power for them, leaving no freedom for U.S…..
That’s dictatorship!
January 5, 2010 at 2:21 pm
The fact that the political machine is coming after you is a testament to your effectiveness. I would take that as a HUGE feather in your cap.
Don’t worry. They will ALL be disgraced soon, and they will come crawling to you, wondering what went wrong.
You follow your heart and love your country. There is no shame in that.
January 5, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Wait til ballerina Rahmbo runs for mayor. He’s gonna be really mad at you. (That can’t possibly be true, can it?)
January 5, 2010 at 2:24 pm
Of course they get mad when you throw off the shackles of identity politics…
Keep thinking for yourselves.
January 5, 2010 at 2:51 pm
“to think is a dangerous thing….”
January 5, 2010 at 2:25 pm
gentlemen; bravo! i found your site via a link in big government…i think. You’ve become a must read everyday. I’m not gay; been 2 chi. once (4 a reds-cubs game-mainly)2 yrs ago…2 quote the movie Stripes…”we are all Americans; we are the wretched refuse…our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world….” Keep up the good fight- we can disagree forever/disrespect?…never!
January 5, 2010 at 2:29 pm
This is an excellent post.
January 5, 2010 at 2:30 pm
The Dems maybe so hot under the collar because internal polling shows they are not going to win.
January 5, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Which way does he swing, or lean?
January 5, 2010 at 2:34 pm
I’d vote for him, but I don’t live in MA.
January 5, 2010 at 2:52 pm
I sure hope they didn’t use staples in that issue. OUCH!
January 5, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Bravo Zulu Hillbuzz guys!!!!
Excellent essay! I have been lurking here for a few weeks now (found y’all after the George W essay) and I have to tell you that your integrity and patriotism is truly inspiring. After reading this essay I had to let you know how much you impressed me.
I have been following much of your advice; I went into my Senator’s local office and screamed at his flunky & am in the process of dumping Comcast ‘cause of their support of the senatorial whore.
Your ideas are excellent, but it is your integrity and love of country that has awed me the most. As a vet, I think I have both, but I hope, if I was ever in your shoes, that I could display half the character you have shown here.
That’s all, just a note to say thank you. Stay safe, keep your powder dry, and don’t let the bast***s get you down!
January 5, 2010 at 2:40 pm
Actions to support Scott Brown today:
1. Made the financial contribution to his campaign
2. Joined his facebook group, then promoted his web site on my facebook page
3. Wrote emails to O’Reilly and Shep Smith asking them to cover the special election
Time to make tomorrow’s to do list.
January 5, 2010 at 2:44 pm
This site is better than a good cup of joe and a wicked natter. Holy Sh-t can you slather it around. Exhilarating! As far as Republicans/Conservatives are concerned you are right. We don’t really give a rat’s reared about your sexuality. It’s between your ears that counts. Have known a few homosexual conservatives and would rather be with them than the straight lefties any day. You are correct in the most important thing: people don’t like to be hoodwinked and lied to. The only problem with all of this is that we were and we are living with the consequences. If what you have hinted about re Obama is marginally true, then why hasn’t it become more mainstream? The fact that he may be hiding what he desires in private and carrying on a charade for the world to see is sooo disturbing. When questions about his sexuality were circulating on the web before the election I sent a couple of friends the link. One response: sho gives a sh-t. Mine: I DO. Because that means he is one collosal liar and if you take great pains to hide something like that in this day and age and even go so far as to APPEAR LIKE THE PERFECT FAMILY MAN WITH A WIFE then you are a blatant fraud. It’s the deception which is odious. Having said all this I want to say I admire your elan. Your damn the torpedoes approach and your personal sacrifices. You may be losing the support of many because they do not like what you really are. So they never were your friends to begin with. You will realize that as you get older and you will have fewer and fewer but they will be golden. If it’s any consolation, you have gained the regard of many. Myself included.
January 8, 2010 at 7:28 am
Ditto, Scythe. I am acquainted with more than a few gay conservatives down here in So. Ill.. Samey same. I thought I went off hard on libtards. Some days, they makes me sound moderate.
January 5, 2010 at 2:48 pm
Excellent essay… as usual. I will bet you guys sleep well at night because you are true to your principles.
As a newcomer to Hillbuzz this may have been addressed in previous posts but I am barely keeping up some days :D I presume that you articulate to your critics what you write. Do you get any dialogue from them or just blank stares and/or threats because you’re not parroting the party line? Your reasoning is, imho, just common sense (altho obviously I am a member of the choir!)
January 5, 2010 at 2:48 pm

I love your site. Great analysis. You apparently are loyal to your values and ideals, but that can’t be said for the LGBTQ community who are blackmailing the people they claim to represent. A person’s values should be based on truth as that person understands it and then that person needs to be loyal to that truth, regardless of what it costs him/her, until or unless that person discovers a new or greater truth. Blackmailing undermines the whole community by making it look like this is about gaining power rather than living a truthful life.
Republicans aren’t as homophobic as liberals like to paint them. I think a very high percentage of us are willing to vote for anyone who will actually represent their people with honesty, integrity, fairness, and the Constitution.
Keep fighting the good fight.
January 5, 2010 at 2:55 pm
Keep doing what you do. You guys shouldn’t be working in politics, you’re far too honest and unafraid.
Stand strong, Hillbuzz. Stand strong.
January 5, 2010 at 2:59 pm
The Hill Buzz guys have expressed exactly what all the Tea Party, Smart Girl Politics, etc. groups are all about. I have met plenty of Democrats and (yes!)government workers at these gatherings. Stand up for America and our Constitution FIRST, and all else is secondary. “Sitting your butts at home” does not benefit anyone. If you want “change”, you had better show the folks in power you mean business (in a firm, but not hysterical, way).
HB is right about the Republicans being “ostriches”. You blind politicians should pay attention to the man on the street – we may just run over you.
January 5, 2010 at 3:02 pm
Fantastic post, as usual.
It’s about this COUNTRY.
I didn’t like your slam of Republicans earlier, but I realize now that the RNC leadership is EXACTLY what you say they are.
What a bunch of losers and buffoons in charge of the Republicans. Steele needs to resign IMMEDIATELY! Talk about a whining eyore!
Look what that moron said?
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/74277-rnc-chairman-doubts-gop-will-win-back-house-in-2010
January 5, 2010 at 3:18 pm
Here’s a winning strategy: whatever Steele and the Establishment R’s say to do, do the opposite.
Hillbuzz, by sticking with your principles you are creating something that no job can get you: credibility and integrity. Great post.
January 5, 2010 at 7:30 pm
This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George figured out that he was a failure becuase every instinct he had was wrong and realized that if he wanted to succeed, he should look at his instinct and do a 180. That was the episode where he got the job with the Yankees.
Brilliant!
January 5, 2010 at 5:27 pm
I was kind of excited when Steele won the RNC spot (wanted the world to see that not all AAs are Democrats) – but since then he’s more about HIM than growing the party. Time to let someone else carry the ball.
January 5, 2010 at 3:09 pm

January 5, 2010 at 3:12 pm
Ditto many of the comments above. I posted this below, but I want to make sure all DC area readers know– they’re setting up a phonebank downtown, starting tomorrow and going through election day. The information is posted on the “Washington DC Volunteers for Scott Brown” Facebook page –http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=info&ref=mf&gid=235473829043
I need to see when I can do this, but I’m sure going to try, and would love to meet some of you down there!

Hannity is talking about Scott Brown now!!!
January 5, 2010 at 3:20 pm
I heard Scott Brown on Laura Ingraham today. She was fired up and ticked off more than usual. It was a good interview. If I come across the link, I’ll post it.
January 5, 2010 at 3:17 pm
Well said, once again. At the end of the day, what do you have if not your integrity? There are too many people unwilling to tell the truth these days. They’re all busy “playing the game.” I always believe that the world could do with a few more honest, courageous souls.
The really sad thing is that people are so ready to turn on each other in a heartbeat, rather than respecting the opinions of others and commending them for open, honest debate. Many people do not know this, but John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were great friends throughout their lives, even though they disagreed tremendously on (and often argued over) how the government should be run. They didn’t hold that against each other, because they both understood that they had no option but to speak the truth from their point of view, and respected each other for that.
They were the final two remaining signers of the Declaration of Independence (written by Jefferson, at Adams’ request)and died within hours of each other on July 4, 1826. Their final words were…
Jefferson (age 83): “Is it the Fourth?” [Doctor Robley Dunglison: "It soon will be."] “I resign my spirit to God, my daughter to my country.”
Adams (age 90): [Asked by Mrs. Clark if he knew what day it was.]“Oh, yes; it is the glorious Fourth of July. It is a great day. It is a good day. God bless it. God bless you all. [He then lapsed into unconsciousness. He awakened later, and mumbled] Thomas Jefferson…” The rest was inaudible, but some claim he said “…still survives.” Jefferson had actually passed on a few hours earlier.
January 5, 2010 at 3:40 pm
Is there any way to get Hottie McAWESOME to move his hand in that centerfold? Dear God, is there? Please?
January 5, 2010 at 3:48 pm
Scott Brown will be interviewed on Sean Hannity’s radio program today.
January 5, 2010 at 4:05 pm
Good post, guys! The easy road is not made of standing up for your principles and values. But the rewards are twofold.
I am a Conservative Catholic and I could give a rat’s patootie if a politician is gay or straight. If you are a gay man with common sense, love your country, fiscally conservative and won’t sell liberty down the proverbial river, you got my vote.
January 5, 2010 at 4:22 pm
Well, this little but scrappy conservative woman just loves you guys. Your integrity is inspiring and your love of country resonates with true patriots.
The Founding Fathers would be proud of you boys. Your parents should be very proud of the sons they raised.
I’m sure as heck proud of you.
January 5, 2010 at 4:32 pm
G-d bless you all. I am praying for your strength and safety. And a Scott Brown win.
Prayers up.

January 5, 2010 at 4:47 pm
Looks like a Republican may have stolen the Democrats’ game plan. Have you heard Andy Martin’s radio ads? He’s outing Mark Kirk; the ads are disgustingly sleazy. However, this means the issue will be dealt with now, not during the primary.
I agree with previous posters, however: Republicans are not as homophobic as most think they are.
January 5, 2010 at 4:47 pm
Another great post. Hillbuzz, if you are getting heat you must be quite effective! In the end, smart people will know to work with you to benefit from your influence and reputation and not try to push you around.
Action item accomplished: contributed to the Brown campaign today.
January 5, 2010 at 5:04 pm
I so enjoy your site….thanks for giving me Hope for Change….
January 5, 2010 at 5:27 pm
OK. I can see where you are going wrong. You think Illinois politics has at least one semi-honest party. George Ryan ring a bell?
Or do you really believe Dave Syverson ever thought Alan Keyes had a chance in hell?
Now I will grant you that the Rs used to be at least semi competent if not honest (Thompson). But you know. Gone are the days.
It is all about looting the state as much as possible before there is nothing left to loot.

Y’all must be doing something right! You are standing up for what you know to your soul is the right thing, and that, friends, is what America is all about. Liberals simply cannot stand anyone who disagrees with them. Keep on fighting the good fight boyz, we are with you. You are in my prayers.

This is slightly related but slightly off topic too. Re: more female senators. Has anyone else heard of Cherilyn Eager? She is running against Bennett (R-Utah) in the primary. Someone must have called her Utah’s Sarah Palin, because she talks about it at her web site. Her platform is basically the Tea Party message — limited government, fiscal responsibility, free market solutions. Plus, she has 2 other key issues a la Palin – energy independence, strong national defense. I hope she can take Bennett down. He is a Country Club Big Government Stuffed Shirt Republican, IMHO.

@C Mill:
As a Utah resident and blogger, we have been following intensively the Utah Senate race extensively and have quite a bit of info on Cherilyn on our blog; indeed we endorsed her some time ago.
We are extremely optimistic, going so far as to predict Bennett’s ouster.
Eagar has been endorsed by Red State and has been championing conservative values for 30 years.

“We would, in fact, campaign against Hillary Clinton herself if she did anything as dangerous and stupid as vote YES on a bill this enormous and world-changing as Healthcare Rationing.”
Now hillbuzz got angry with me yesterday for a question I had…maybe I didn’t word it well..but that is kind of what I was getting at. Bill Clinton endorsed Coakley and she supports the healthcare rationing bill…now..I like Bill Clinton, but, to me, by him endorsing her (even though they are friends) it means to me that he supports this bill also…and it makes me kind of sad. I wish that I understood the politics game better because in my simple mind I don’t understand why more people don’t stand up against this…hope that makes some sense.. I really wasn’t trying to offend anyone..and no, I am not a “troll”..

I seem to recall a LITTLE item about Socialized Medicine from the Clinton Admin. and Hill was leading the charge! Here I go again, getting in trouble with the boyz (I’ll still admire them tho’)

I posted here last week about that ad outing Kirk. The state Repubs committee attacked the guy that made that ad that ran on the radio. They should look at things from the above perspective. It is so true that we don’t care about the gay, we care about the truth. Like the race card, though, opponents will try to make this look like we are all homophobes if the issue sees daylight–which it will. These people are so dirty.
Don’t like Kirk, he voted for cap and tax. WHAT’S UP WITH THAT? Former Gov. Edgar endorsed Kirk and other candidates that are old politics, but the Gov is highly regarded downstate. I’m afraid this is being very poorly managed by the repubs.
Schock went all squirmy about earmarks he put in spending bills. I’m so over him. That shit has to stop and it has to stop NOW. He’s apparently been indoctrinated or blackmailed.
GREAT post Hillboys, I hope this gets a lot of attention.

You guys are GREAT. It is encouraging to see people stand up for what they believe in. I have had to come to grips with the fact that many of my longtime friends with whom I have worked in politics are diametrically opposed to my way of thinking nowadays, and it is comforting to see you guys take this on cheerfully and with grace. Godspeed to you all.

Continue to document with your readers, the opposition that you face. We stand by you as you have stood behind solid American principles. Every day I pray for the “Truthtellers”. Big or small, ordinary and prominent, you along with the rest of us must know that to operate in the light of truth, we are closer to our Creator. When we operate in this truth we will be greatly graced with Divine guidance, direction and protection.
Blessings to you Boys.

Want to “spike” the Dem’s guns in Massachusetts? Here’s something that you can use for ammunition if you are helping man the phone banks for Scott Brown, with a link to the SEIU’s OWN WEBSITE, regarding the “Cadillac” tax that is still in the Healthcare bill (that Martha Coakley has said that she will support):

Encouraging news on the Scott Brown front (from The Corner on National Review Online):
An E-mail from Massachusetts [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
FWIW:
After reading many positive posts about Scott Brown on The Corner, I thought I’d stop by one of his regional campaign offices and pick up a lawn sign. Wow, was I blown away by how packed the place was with volunteers and activity. In fact, there were a number of folks there who had also stopped by and we had to wait in line just to get a lawn sign. This is at 2pm on a weekday when most of Brown’s supporters are likely at work. This weekend will be nuts, I’m sure. 01/06 03:02 PM

Hi all, I just found your site from a post on Politico. Was very inspired by your post – and just sent a donation to Scott Brown. Wonderful to see Americans working for and loving America. Hope Scott Brown wins.

Thank you for the great essay (and the photo of McHottie Brown! I will bet that even in Mass a lot of female libs will vote for him. I like the strength he has shown in standing for what is right without fear of disapproval. I like his virtues. Have sent $$ and will send more. Pray for victory the 19th–it will mean a huge one!

As a dieheart Republican Conservative when I first read your blog during the 2008 campaign, I could not believe my eyes. Many things you said I agreed with wholeheartedly. America first, all else next. I feel like I could just take your hand and we can fight together against this insideous socialist attack on America. Keep up the great posts. Send money and support to Sen. McAwesome. The beer is on me!

You’re absolutely right. We would not vote for – or not vote for – someone because they are gay (or of/not of a certain ethnicity, or sex). But lying is not excusable. Lying is what cost Clinton himself, and many others, yet they never learn.
You’re also right about the dossiers.
I applaud you for standing up to the machine(s) – good luck and God bless.
It’s the measure of the PERSON, no matter the party, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity – or type of automobile… (did you catch Obama sneering about driving a truck?)

I too was a Hill supporter.
I too left the DEM plantation.
I too would oppose Hill just as strongly as I oppose Obama and Coakley not to mention Reid and Pelosi.
There is a thing called a balance… and what we have ain’t it.
Thus I have moved solidly from just left of center to the right side of a severely listing ship.
