There’s a project we’re working on that you’ll all like very much, but we need some help with. We need to compile a list of the bad things Michelle Obama has done in her lifetime: things she’s said, like the “proud of my country for the first time in my adult life line” or the “I can’t even buy earrings for $600 bit”, to rude things she’s done like give the Queen of England an Ipod and the Prime Minister of Great Britain toy helicopters from the White House gift shop. There’s also her most recent bit of wisdom, spoken during the December 13th Oprah Christmas Special for Obamamas, in which she asked, “What are you getting me? You should feel pressure”. Apparently, that’s what she thinks the meaning of Christmas is.
Have you seen a list of any similar quotes from her?
We want to find exact quotes, dates, and other instances of bad behavior. We need about 50 of them total to complete a very special project.
Your help in listing them on this thread would be greatly appreciated.
Anything counts — from her childhood, college days, life in Chicago, the campaign, and now the White House.

In response to a question by Ms. Roberts on ABC’s GMA inquiring whether she’d support Hillary if she won the Dem. nomination, she replied, “I’d have to think about that”. This was probably Jan. 2008. I looked and looked for this video on ABC’s website back in the spring of 2008 and of course, it had been purged.
There is also the question of where she was on Sept. 11 when Sen. and Mrs. McCain and Obama visited the Memorial in New York. Supposedly she had to get her kids to school, but the day before she’d been out campaigning. What’s the real truth? Poor form in my book.

I was in NYC that night, in fact my hotel was next door to the theater they attended. The block was shut down most of the night, which of course must of affected businesses in the area. A busy Sat night in Times Square!? Also, they had dinner downtown, quite a distance from their show. Took much NYC manpower to protect that route, plus the barricades had to be set up and taken down for few miles.
Had they been in NYC on other business (even a fundraiser), nobody would have paid much attention to this.
Remember their first wedding anniversary in the White House? They went OUT to dinner ! That was a 42 second, 7 car motorcade drive from WH !

Records at the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois lists her status as “voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law.”
It further states that Michelle’s license is “on court ordered inactive status.”

Nothing here. I went to the link, read the report and reviewed the status. Sidley and Austin is a very pretigious law firm that handles corporate properties and estates. They are on 17th – 18th and I Streets, NW. They were the original Yankee carpet baggers and established the law practice during the Civil War. I use to work there back in the 90s.
MO was probably barred from practising due to possible conflict of interest over a period of time. Depending on the sensitivity of the accounts held that may have been many years. Sidley and Austin also operates like most law firms where you have to grow a clientele in order to achieve partner status. If you can’t, you gotta hit the road.
Real dirt is:
(1) The names and types of guys she dated in HS and college?
(2) Did she inhale?
(3) Details of the Corporate Office Affair she had with her own intern?
(4) Relationships with child care-givers?
(5) What her ex-coworkers at Sidley and Austin say about her?
(6) Where did she shop for clothing before Barack became a U.S. Senator?
(6)a What is her real relationship with Oprah?
(7)Following the trail of income sources while Barack was a poor state Senator.
(8) Instances where there was actually the look of love when she is with her man. If not, who is she looking at?

Those of you in Chicago with library cards can go online and search your local papers for free, using your library system’s database. You can surely find info about the Obamas going back quite a way. And I’ve found that articles on these databases are less likely to be purged than the Internet versions are, though with the Obamas, all bets are off.
Does anyone know whether Nexis (of the Lexis-Nexis commercial database) has a charge-per-search option, or how much it would cost? You could search the legal papers and magazines as well; the Chicago legal bar surely has a magazine, and might well run notices of discipline and disbarment. The Chicago library system might have this as well.

Every time she speaks or is quoted I cringe. If anyone read her college thesis, they would understand.
Graduating from Princeton without the ability to articulate a coherent sentence in English can only be attributed to being in a special minority class.
Zero does the same thing, and he didn’t grow up in, “da hood.”
That’s the thing that infuriates me about them. They obviously believe that we’re all ignorant rubes living in some sort of ‘community’ that needs to be organized.
MO and BO are very limited, provincial people, and it shows. Despite their Ivy League educations they are hicks.

I am disgusted with the constant references to Princeton, Harvard, etc. My own family has a long history of Ivy League graduates. Mainly, because they were lower class Irish who lived in the Cambridge – Boston area, and wanted to be more “American”. My husband’s family has been going to another “Ivy” for 3, soon to be 4, generations. I really dislike hearing this type of education being treated as “elite”. For people who want to learn, they are good schools, but there are thousands of good schools out there. It’s not that big a deal. Once one generation attends, succeeding generations are “heritage” admissions. Michelle got into Princeton because of her older brother, period. Lately, far too much attention is paid to the idea of being “elite”, due to one’s alma mater, that is just b.s. Just as many, if not more, crooks go to Harvard as anyplace else. Most of my family became teachers, small business owners and most now work in some type of public service. We have all inherited a love of reading, music, and story telling, but that’s probably our “Irish” gene and not where we went to school. Maybe Michelle would be a better person today, if she hadn’t been traumatized at Princeton.

The so called mentoring program, will undoubtedly fall to the large staff,if at all. Michelle will show up to make “remarks” and for a photo op, and probably not often. It will go the way of the Eat Your Vegetables program,which makes about as much sense as a Floss Your Teeth Program. Most of us peons really do know this stuff already. What she out to be mentoring is a Don’t Get Pregnant In High School Program, if she really wants to help her “community.”

Someone else already mentioned the $540 Lavin sneakers that she wore to a project to serve the homeless (soup kitchen? Whatever..), but I also enjoyed the time she shut down numerous streets in D.C. in order to take her motorcade to the farmer’s market to purchase overpriced organic something or other. Like the White House kitchen staff couldn’t have picked up whatever it was she wanted.
She not only wore black to the lighting of the White House Christmas tree, but also for the performance of Christmas in Washington which aired a couple of days ago. Giant bow dresses and other colorful frocks are saved for funerals (Ted Kennedy) and Arlington National Cemetery!
I would be very curious to know exactly what it is that she is doing to “help” military families besides talking about it. I thought it was interesting that her newfound interest in miltary families appeared not long after she made those remarks about being proud of her country for the first time in her adult life.

In the biography “Michelle” by a Washington Post writer, Michelle is described by former bosses as (surprise!) “a challenge to manage.” An excerpt:
“…But Michelle could also frustrate her supervisors. Quincy White, the partner who helped recruit Michelle and who headed the marketing group, remembers finding her a challenge to manage. White, who is now retired from the firm, says he gave her the most interesting work he could find, in part because he wanted to see her advance, but also because she seemed perennially dissatisfied.
She was, White recalls, “quite possibly the most ambitious associate that I’ve ever seen.” She wanted significant responsibility right away and was not afraid to object if she wasn’t getting what she felt she deserved, he says.
At big firms, much of the work that falls to young associates involves detail and tedium. There were all sorts of arcane but important rules about what could and could not be said or done in product advertisements, and in the marketing group, all the associates, not just the new ones, reviewed scripts for TV commercials to make sure they conformed. White says he talked to Michelle about her expectations, but the problem could not be resolved because the work was what it was. He is not sure any work he had would have satisfied her. “I couldn’t give her something that would meet her sense of ambition to change the world.”
“Not many people went over my head,” says White. It was an unusual move for a young associate to make, and he believes it was consistent with her personality….”

I read this some time ago.
My conclusion was that MO wasn’t interested in actually *working* to prove herself.
She didn’t get into Princeton on her academic merits. She admits as much.
At some point MO hooked up with Valerie Jarrett, and MO got into the swing she liked – something for nothing.
Jarrett, I believe, is the key to the Obies’ fortunes – along with others like the Ayers (and his daddy) connection- not to mention Rezko and other sleaze bags/criminals.
None of this is about merit or achievement. Even the Left is whining now about their Messiah. I spent a couple of hours reading the HuffPo yesterday (sickening, but enlightening).
These two, MO&BO, have nothing to offer. They are just recipients. They’ve never done anything for this country, but they sure as hell like getting all the “stuff”.
3 more years and counting. Can we survive?

Above link will show Michelle and the girls reading at a Christmas event at a children’s hospital today. Note that they are sequestered behind a rope, and while the guests are dressed up, Michelle and the girls are in their typical slob attire.
I never once saw George or Laura Bush read to children BEHIND A ROPE LINE. They had them clustered around them and I distinctly remember them having children sitting in their laps.
And to show up at such an event in slobbo attire is disrespectful to the people who attended.

In February 2009, outrage in the Obamas’ community exploded after a young boy covered by Medicaid was turned away from the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dontae Adams’ mother, Angela, had sought emergency treatment for him after a pit bull tore off his upper lip. Mrs. Obama’s hospital gave the boy a tetanus shot, antibiotics, and Tylenol and shoved him out the door. The mother and son took an hour-long bus ride to another hospital for surgery.
I’ll guarantee you this: You’ll never see the Adams family featured at an Obama policy summit or seated next to the First Lady at a joint session of Congress to illustrate the failures of the health care system.
Following the Adams incident, the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) blasted Mrs. Obama and Mr. Axelrod’s grand plan. The group released a statement expressing “grave concerns that the University of Chicago’s policy toward emergency patients is dangerously close to ‘patient dumping,’ a practice made illegal by the Emergency Medical Labor and Treatment Act (EMTALA)” – signed by President Reagan, by the way – “and reflected an effort to ‘cherry pick’ wealthy patients over poor.”
Michelle told Vanity Fair that Americans would have only one chance to anoint her husband, vowing “it’s now or never” and explaining “there’s an inconvenience factor there” and a “really, really hard” pressure and stress on the family that can only be justified if her husband can win the presidency and “change the world.”
She told a group gathered at a nursing home in Grinnell on Monday that “Barack is one of the smartest people you will ever encounter who will deign to enter this messy thing called politics.”

Dear Leader will not seek re-election. For health reasons. Infact…if he tanks into lets say the low 30s approval ratings wise (and he has one or two ‘public meltdowns’ memba, narcissists CANNOT take criticisms) he will also ‘step down’ for ‘health reasons.’
After a arduous time AWAY from his adoring public (yet prior to his health being ‘good’ enough for those seven figure speaking engagements) look for Michelle (for the girls’ education) to live in one place (NYC?) and Barry…to be a ‘citizen of the world.’ IE., shaked up somewhere with an ‘aide.’ Paging Vera Baker…Ms. Baker…pick up the Courtesy Phone please.
Their ‘marriage’ (IMO) is a sham. A political connivement to give the not so AA Soetero ‘cred’ with an AA wife.

We have finally proof that we look at behavior, manners, and clothing – these have nothing to do with race. These are all based on the personality and character that the Obamas have. And they can’t hide how tasteless and classless they are.
I thought that because Obama spent 8 years in ILsenate, and because they must have mingled with the top power and money people in CHicago, that they should have learned by example. Then I realized I was talking of people in Chicago. Do any of them have class?
My neighbors are hi power people from Chicago and they built a tall block wall between our properties – any construction has to be approved by the HOA and neighbors. The way they tried to explain how it came about that they built the wall without approval ticked me off so much that I told the HOA they had to take the wall down. They are just like the Obamas – only thinking about themselves. Sucks to have neighbors like that but we get a lot of people from the rust belt to retire here in AZ.
Every single person I knew from Chicago was a jerk – and I knew maybe 200 people at a management level or above – my own boss was in Chicago. Horrible people. Thieves and liars.

Statement is a logical mess. And why would mentoring have been important to her when she “probably could remember it” -
She is talking to some 20-30 young girls who she is going to mentor. Why is she always talking about herself? Just like in Copenhagen when she had a speech about herself and her father – sitting on her father’s lap – not true but that was supposed to “leave no dry eyes”.
She is confusing “mentoring” and “to be mentored”
If anything was important about mentoring in her life it was about her having countless mentors as did Obama. Her mentors like Valerie Jarrett went over and beyond any normal mentorship a typical white kid got from a white business person.

Last year she chased Oprah off after it was announced that Oprah was looking for a home in Georgetown. MO should have allowed Oprah to fully take her under her wing then she would have known how to work a Photo Op and why not to wear a see thru dress when on the arm of the U.S. President. But poor MO is not alone. The French Prez’s wife Carla is a hoot. Check out what she wears at some dignified events and funerals standing in for hubby as head of France. My blog focuses on Obama’s Overachiever tendencies. I culled info from several sources and found that this behavior may be due to his partner’s neglect. It seems overachiever (workaholic) behavior can be managed especially by a caring spouse. Michelle’s greatest dis-service to the American Citizenry may be her inability to help her husband (as a wife)cope with the demands of the presidency. In a careful review of the Michelle and Barack astro-charts in Synastry I’ve found that she may really not be feeling her husband like she should. Certainly the “stinky-feet” comment is telling. I also found info from a guy named Clifford Bryan with the “Michelle Obama Examiner” who believes that the marriage between Michelle and Barack may have been more of an arrangement and their responses as a couple in public are rehearsed. He also asserts that without Michelle there would be no Obama. Surprisingly, I found data in the Synastry delineation that can support some of his assumptions. Why do you have to diss someone just because you are jealous. SHe has acheived much more in her life than you ever will. WHat did she ever do to you? Are you jealous that she is pretty smart and famous? AND YOU ARE NOT ANY OF THOSE THINGS?
