This is really interesting, because it’s something we would never do to the people we believe in.
Shepard Fairey, the artist who stole an AP image of Dr. Utopia and used it to make the famous (or, infamous, depending on where you sit) “Hope” posters of “The One” staring blankly into the sky, reproduced ad nauseum on every flat surface in 2008, has started spoofing the monster he helped create.
Fairey did the spoof image for a new album out called “The Audacity of Hype”, by Jello Biafra.
So, essentially, Jello’s now making fun of the Kool-Aid gang, which is just twelves shades of ridiculous and yet apt.

He is still using the same poster idea, and it is the wording: “the audacity of hype” that really makes one take a second look.

Portraying him as the Devil (horns) and a Vampire (sucking the blood/life right out of the country) and titled with “Audacity of Hype” is a pretty clear (Alinskyesque) ridicule of The Won.
Could it be that Fairley found his treatment by the Minions of Utopia to be less than “fairly” and he himself ‘sees’ the Monster (Devil Vampire) he helped create?
Like an ugly divorce, when those who were so inlove with and had all their ‘Hopes’ placed in Dear Leader trully see how he fooled them…well the Fall from grace will be meteoric.
When that tipping point is met…then the Birth Certificate; the Sinclair affair; Vera Baker; and all the other trash will come out to disgrace The Failed Won into oblivion.
This is just a babystep on that path.
