We would love it if all the Palin supporters who read this would share this idea with all the Palin forums you go on. It’s something we wish we had thought to do for Hillary Clinton back in 2003 when she did her Living History book tour. It would have given us a major ground support advantage in 2008 that we didn’t have.
If you are going to a Palin book signing, don’t just stand there in line quiet by yourself or talking to whomever you came with. Introduce yourself to the other people in line. If you are all waiting in the cold for a store to open to have a chance to maybe see Palin for a few seconds, you are a committed supporter of hers….and in those lines you will be surrounded by hundreds if not thousands like you.
Get all their emails.
Friend them on Facebook.
Make sure they know about awesome sites like Conservatives4Palin.com that keep the truth about Palin and what she is up to out there.
Network, people, network.
You might spend a few hours in line at that signing. That’s a few hours you could be meeting other Palin supporters near you, and over the next few years friendships could blossom that will give Sarah Palin an unprecedented ground team for 2012 — if and when she needs it. The worst that can come of the effort is that you make a heap of new friends who also like Sarah.
Not everyone is clued into the Sarahverse online. Not everyone knows there are people already working hard to organize for her should she run in 2012.
These book signings are a chance for people to come together organically and start to seed the grassroots efforts for 2012.
Let’s make the most of them.
Learn from everything that Dr. Utopia did to Hillary Clinton in 2008, and everything we Clinton people would do differently if we had the chance to replay the last several years.

As I typed in the last article……
I just got an email from “SarahPAC”. I donated $100 so I can get the autographed book. I can’t wait.
I urge everyone to go to “SarahPAC” and donate. She needs all of our help.
Go Sarah…. You have my support and my vote.

Excellent idea! I am number 550 or so in the wrist band numbers, so I should have plenty of folks around me with nothing to do but network if interested. I will print out the Hillbuzz recommendation too, so that others may consider joining in. Thanks for the words of wisdom, Hillbuzz.
November 17, 2009 at 5:30 pm
When did you get your wristband? What time did you decide to go to your location? I am trying to decide what time to go to Ft. wayne. They claim they will let people line up at 7 am and hand out wristbands at 10 am…signing at 12-3 pm.. So..just curious what you think?
November 17, 2009 at 7:48 pm
Stacee, my book store may be doing things differently than yours. I saw a notice in the newspaper that said the book store was giving line tags with the sale of a book. I needed to pre-order a book in order to get a tag. I’m supposed to pick it up prior to the day and get there a little early the day of. The method your book store is using seems a little chaotic, though maybe more fair for those that are not “in the know” and do not know about the pre order thing. I am sure there are many people motivated to get in line VERY EARLY.
The funny thing is, does anyone know that Huckabee has a new book out right now too and is doing book signing? I saw him on Greta talking about it after she covered the Orca/Sarah interview yesterday. Is anyone going to his book signings? Is it just people who happen to be wandering through the cook books who notice he happens to be there sitting at a table? It makes me chuckle a bit.

Great idea Hillbuzz!
November 17, 2009 at 5:29 pm
Just when I think I cannot love Sarah or Hillbuz more, you make the lovelist suggestion to bring us all together again. This is twice in ONE week, you have brought me to happy tears. What a wonderful idea.
Where have you all been all my life!
Any ideas how to get her to come to the Southern NJ Shore to sign books. We have a huge commercial fisherman industry here who love her, in addition to all my Palinista friends, but don’t have the contacts for Sarah. I can get my state, local and Congressman to do an event, and almost had the pleasure of planning an event for Rudy, but no inside connection to Sarah. Anyone with any thoughts let me know!
Love you all! I feel like I’m with family and I don’t have to get snarky at Allahpundit at Hot Air!
November 17, 2009 at 5:31 pm
Sorry OT, but this will be my contribution to making friends for Sarah.
You may know about the following.
“Some lawmakers on Capitol Hill are blasting new guidelines from a government task force that recommends against routine mammograms for women under 50, questioning whether they are tantamount to health care “rationing” in the fight against the No. 2 cancer killer in U.S. women
The new government recommendations, released Monday by the Preventive Services Task Force of the Department of Health and Human Services, recommend against regular mammography tests in women aged 40 to 49. The guidelines also downplay the effectiveness of self-examinations and advise that women aged 50 to 74 years receive mammograms every other year.
Gingrey told FoxNews.com on Tuesday that he and other lawmakers are gravely concerned that insurance companies will seize upon the new guidelines to deny mammogram coverage for women under 50.
(from Fox News web site 2009/11/17)
Has anyone looked up the statistics on breast cancer to see which age groups in which it is most prominent?
My intuition tells me it may be young women (much younger than age 50) just as testicular cancer is really a disease of young men, and not old men.
- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – -
Just got back from checking!
FYI
“younger women tend to have more aggressive breast cancers than older women, which may explain why survival rates are lower among younger women.”
Probability of Developing Breast Cancer Within the
Next 10 years
By age 20, 1 out of 1,985
By age 30, 1 out of 229
By age 40, 1 out of 68
By age 50, 1 out of 37
It does appear to have a disproportionately greater rate among younger women.
Especially when one considers that the “1 out of” quotes are accumulative.

A good friend of mine just went in yesterday for a biopsy of 3 lumps found in her breast during her baseline mamo. She is 40!!!!!! Unfortunately her dr. believes they will find cancer. She could not feel the lumps. We are hoping that the biopsy shows an early stage cancer.
November 17, 2009 at 6:53 pm
This new guideline is pathetic. How damn much does it cost for a technician to put a boob in a machine and squish. This is a simple procedure and cannot be that costly. I smell government intrusion here of the likes, unfortunately we have yet to discover. Not to be unladylike and all but Just makes me wonder if wiener cancer was the number 2 cancer killer for men, at what age would they recommend a squish. Of course we won’t know will we?
November 17, 2009 at 6:55 pm
Of course we are talking about government and they just want everybody dead when they have exceeded their “productivity” level.
November 17, 2009 at 5:36 pm
nice story on Hillary in vogue… just to bad it’s a day late and a dollar short. It makes me so sad to think what could have been, and i’ll say it again what one day will be!

I still can’t believe what the dems did to Hillary last year. (And I’m a repub…)
She’s pretty quiet. Do any of you think she has thoughts for the future or has she landlocked herself by accepting the SoS position?
I’ve said it to conservative friends and I say it without reservation here, If Hillary Clinton were president today, we wouldn’t have to wonder if our President loved America.

No hillbuzz was out campaigning for the Mccain/Palin ticket when hillary pulled out. All you have to do is go back and read the blog. We love hillary here but we do understand what Sarah is going through. We walked through it with hillary and saw it happening again with Palin. I may not like her policies but it was absolutely disgraceful what the media did to her and her family. Surely you can see a common cause between the hillary and palin camps and what they have to go through. The hillbuzz boys just happen to say what they see and they don’t and won’t sugar coat it.
November 17, 2009 at 7:12 pm
and I also happen to like Sarah. She’s personable tells it like it is unlike Obama who doesn’t seem to know what to think unless a teleprompter or one of his ass kissing people tells him what to think. The guy is lost and is in way over his head.
November 17, 2009 at 7:03 pm
Go to the FAQ section and read what they have to say about it.
Sure they would prefer to see Hillary as POTUS, but most of all they want Obama (Dr. Utopia) out of office.
I don’t see the underhanded attempt. The ones to watch out for are Dr. Utopia’s minions and the MSM who will try to ’select’ the Republican candidate (as they did with McCain) who has no chance of winning. My guess is that it will be Romney or Pawlenty.
November 17, 2009 at 8:10 pm
The MSM does have its’ favorites, but allowing people to vote in primaries when they are not part of the party has a lot to do with why McCain was the nominee. Many liberals and independents voted for him. Primaries should be for party members. If you want to vote in the primary, join the party.
November 17, 2009 at 8:48 pm
I agree about the primaries. Michigan (where I live) used to have one primary for all parties, and you picked your party and candidates. Then, the dems decided to caucus, beginning in 2000. They polluted the primary process by voting Republican in the primary, then dem in the caucus. That is why Bush lost Michigan in the primary.
November 17, 2009 at 9:04 pm
I know I sound like a cliche’…but no one I knew voted for McCain in the primaries…. So there is no doubt that they were screwed up on purpose.
November 17, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Have I told you guys lately how much I missed you this summer, and how glad I am to see you back in action? If not, let me say it again.
I.Love.HillBuzz.
Great idea, btw. I’ll be passing it on everywhere I post.
November 17, 2009 at 8:33 pm
NO DISSING OF “Hitlary”!!!
I supported Hillary and then voted and campaigned as a registered democrat for Mccain/Palin.
DO NOT DISS HILLARY… this is HILLBUZZ!!
do NOT call her “Hitlary”!!
if you cannot say anything nice about Hillary, fine! but respect her..do NOT diss her!
Hillbuzz supports Hillary and Sarah!

Sarah cuda is pretty awesome!
I love Rush!
November 17, 2009 at 8:54 pm
Did you all see World News Tonight..Sarah called Obama’s policies “ASSwards” LOL Barbara was shocked..she said “You have a way with words don’t you” and Sarah said “I call it as I see it” WOW..when Sarah said she was going rogue she meant it..ASSwards, my new favorite word
November 18, 2009 at 1:28 am
great new word LOL
November 18, 2009 at 2:11 pm
Wasn’t it backassward? Either way, how refreshing for someone to call it like it is.
November 17, 2009 at 9:18 pm
Hillbuzz, you guyz are ROCK-O! Great idea! We intend to pass the word around too over here on the conservative side of the fence. Hey, we wouldn’t go hunting with Cheney either but he has one daughter gay and one daughter of conservative timber so where’s the middle? BTW — please tell Patty Melt and the gang they have a place of honor at the picnic table we have set up over on Team Sarah — come on over and join Palin Democrat, PUMAS for Palin, or Hillary Supporters for Sarah (Stray Yellar Dawg operates that one under the conservative radar over there you know but keep it under yer speedoes…;0)
November 17, 2009 at 9:30 pm
Sarah was sooooo good on Rush’s show, I listened to it twice!!! saracuda on the loose!
no wonder these MSM nutjobs have lost it, the more they attack Sarah, the strong she gets, and the more sexist the attacks, us PUMAs will join the Palinistas and defend this woman, Palin!
November 17, 2009 at 9:47 pm
I just found you guys last week and am now hooked. You may end up being the reason this blue state dwelling, fiscally conservative, straight mother of one gets back into hanging out with gay guys and taking part in the political process.

November 17, 2009 at 11:22 pm
I lost two maternal aunts to Breast Cancer (my mom died from a brain anyerism when she was 52). I have had a lump in my breast removed at age 29, and my sister has had seven lumps removed since her early 20’s. As soon as I heard about it, I knew it was going to be to ration care for BHO’s healthscare plan.
November 18, 2009 at 2:25 pm
Excellent. And if you’re not lucky enough to be near a book signing, look for opportunities in EVERY line to open a conversation about what Obama’s doing to this country. For example, I bought canned tomatoes recently. Chit chat about prices led to my explaining what Obama et al are doing to the San Joaquin Valley. Covers of mags at the check out counter are also great ice breakers. Talk people. Talk. Silent reserve got us in this mess and “the pen” covers a lot of methods of communication. Stay informed, keep to proveable facts and no name calling (you can think those names, but don’t utter them–except amongst friends. THEN you can utter away).
November 18, 2009 at 2:34 pm
The Hillary and Sarah connection is not really that strange. I respect Hillary and believe that no matter disagreement on specific issues, she would NEVER go on a apology tour, leave our troops unattended for 3 months, and if porkulous didn’t work, she’d start listening to ideas about free market solutions for jobs (Bill did).
Historical note. Kennedy and Goldwater respected and admired each other tremendously and were discussing a whistle stop debating tour for the election in ‘64. Lyndon Johnson represented the “thug” element of the Dems and the daisy commercial was their version of Palin bashing. It changed politics in this country for ever.
November 18, 2009 at 2:46 pm
I am going to the 11/23 tour stop at Ft. Bragg, to take my wife. I like Palin well enough but the wife is a huge fan of Sarah’s…Will network with the soldiers and dependants there as much as I can, but by and large, they are already in the fold – most of them do not really like their CIC even though they could never publicly admit to it of course.
Nevertheless, this is an awesome idea that is sort of one of those “gee whiz, why didn’t I think of that?” moments. One of your older posts, or essays somewhere here on HillBuzz nailed it (I’m still catching up on all the data here), us conservatives have not heretofore been as keen on letter writing campaigns and other genuine grassroots efforts until Obama got into power. Thankfully, I think those times are a’changin’.
My personal crusade this cycle revovles around supporting the young conservatives at my alma maters – Methodist University in Fayetteville and UNC-Chapel Hill. I know you guys are Hillary guys, and she’s a Dem, but by The Party of Obama’s standards, shes a Conservative Dem – thank God for that given her current post.

I voted for John McCain and I ended up with an idiot for a vice president…..
