Check it out: a thing of beauty.
Sarah Palin’s first national campaign bus of her own. For some reason, the child of the 80s in us can’t help but running the old Transformers cartoon theme through our head. “More than meets the eye”.
Ostensibly, this bus is to promote Palin’s book, Going Rogue.
But, Transformers-style, there’s a point in the future where that bus could transform from book-tour mobile to presidential campaign coach.
In other news, today’s the day all of us here get our copies of Going Rogue.
We plan to read them all around Chicago, in coffee houses, at the gym, on the trains. Even when we are done with the books, we plan on taking the paper covers and putting them on the next books we are reading, so that we can carry around Going Rogue’s artwork all over town…so as many people see it being read out in public as possible.
We’ll keep track of the responses we get and report them back here. There’s a very good chance people will be Obot, Kool-Aid soaked hatemongers and say vile things about Palin to us. That’s what they do when we wear Palin tee shirts. For people so keen on Hope!, Change!, and Unicorns!, Dr. Utopia’s supporters sure are filled with plenty of hate.
Why is that?
Why does Sarah Palin rattle them so?
Remember, this woman is supposed to be so stupid, according to them, that she can’t even read a book let alone write one (especially since she’s never met William Ayers, so she couldn’t ask him to write the book for her).
Also, Dr. Utopia’s supporters keep telling us how everyone hates Palin, how she has no future in politics, how she’s a waste of space who should get off the stage.
So, why do these people wake up each morning as William Shatner staring into the bathroom mirror shouting SAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAH! in Wrath of Khan mode?
Why does she unnerve them so?
What are they going to do when they get a look at this bus?
******
UPDATE: Palin was on Rush Limbaugh today, so share your thoughts on this thread too. Someone will link to a transcript and audio feed for this at some point as well. Apparently, Palin put forward more substantive policy points in 30 minutes than our current president has in 11 months. Go, Sarah, Go!

November 17, 2009 at 1:32 pm
She just gave an interview with Rush Limbaugh..Gosh, she is good..
November 17, 2009 at 1:32 pm
The greatest political comeback and upset in US history is coming. Go Sarah 2012.
November 17, 2009 at 7:48 pm
I agree with your point, but she has never lost her faithfull.
November 17, 2009 at 1:34 pm
Get on the bus!
I went to Sam’s Club this morning just sure they’d have huge stack of Going Rogue. Nope – not a one.
I just finished listening to her interview on Rush. She is one smart cookie. And there wasn’t an “uh” or “well now” or “let me be clear” to be heard.
November 17, 2009 at 1:42 pm
You mean Sam’s Club had already sold out?
OR maybe demand was so high that Sam’s Club couldn’t get them, or would have had to pay a price higher than they wanted to pay.
November 17, 2009 at 1:58 pm
I don’t think they had it. There wasn’t a place that looked like it was supposed to be there.
November 17, 2009 at 6:19 pm
I just saw it in Seattle’s Sam’s Club for just under $17. They had it on the shelf with most of the other books. Not even on the end book’s shelf. No special place of its own.
November 17, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Nice formerly, Democratic blue color on that bus.
Really nice too, to see no one is under it!
November 17, 2009 at 1:44 pm
lol
November 17, 2009 at 4:00 pm
love it – formerly democratic blue.
Why, you know I do think that’s my best color too.

That Rush interview was fantastic! Sarah is no dummy, like the morons in the MSM keep trying to portray her.
November 17, 2009 at 5:28 pm
Yes, and Rush is no slouch when it comes to doing interviews. The questions were relevant and straight forward.

Reposting this comment here:
Live Blogging Gov. Palin on Rush right now:
Right off the bat–it’s policy–specifically the economy–she’s using the phrase “common sense” alot. Citing unemployment numbers–more like 17% with those who have given up looking–talking about Republicans and Independents. Talked about how Reagan had a worse recession and did the right things to get out of it. Jobs jobs jobs-it’s all about jobs.
Next NY23rd how it’s very exciting that the race is still so close. Then-America not ready for a third party but she is not an obsessive partisan. Talks about how America needs “common sense conservative ideas.”
Talks about Independents and how to attract them whether they are registered R’s or not and how Independents are her natural base in Alaska. Tod has no political affiliation.
She appreciates how R’s have a healthy debate about ideas unlike D’s and is “happy to duke it out in the party” over ideas because in the end it makes for a “better product.”
Then– not trying to reach liberal elites but everyday, hardworking people.
Energy-”Alot of snake oil science” in green movement. People are making alot of money from hinky science. Earth has natural cycles of cooling and warming.
Ridiculous that America is not getting or tapping it’s own resources. Links energy and security. Provides stability for our country. It’s not complicated it’s political.
Healthcare- nobody knows what’s in the bill–does not want Govt. to take over one sixth of economy. Many more common sense solutions to reform healthcare before she would ever want govt. involved. Cites a list of sensible solutions.
Talks about Afghanistan and Iran. Obama “dithering” on more troops. Specifics on how to deal with and halt Iran’s bomb.
Ends with immigration policy. “Illegals are illegal for a reason.” Must talk to border states and border patrol to get a handle on it.
This was a great 30 minute interview. Very lucid and confident. There was no discussion of her family other than Tod’s non party affiliation and zero talk about 2008 campaign. Just policy questions. Very impressive interview. I urge all to listen to it. Rush just posted the entire interview on his site:
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_111709/content/01125120.guest.html
November 17, 2009 at 2:10 pm
Her Iran response was awesome. succint and detailed about how to enforce sanctions with availablity to monetery funds.
November 17, 2009 at 2:43 pm
Sarah rocks! I love this woman!
I love that she said this:
“You don’t necessarily have to be registered with the Republican party to hook up with us”
70% of Alaskans are independent. She’s used to working outside the party.

Boyz, please forgive me repeating myself on YOUR page…but I just got thru (like other Buzzers) listening to Gov. Palin’s interview with Rush Limbaugh…
AWESOME. The audio and transcript of which are up right now on RushLimbaugh.Com.
Gov. Palin gave more policy points in less than one half hour of air time than The Won has given in ten long, arduous months.
High points: ‘Well, they are called ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS for a reason.’ On healthcare, ‘open up interstate insurance competition.’ Energy independence (she hurled ninja stars at Biden on this) ‘what is hard to understand about Drill Baby Drill? Utilizing American resources keeps US energy independent and NOT at the mercy of foreign powers.’
She was strong and fierce in her words. ‘Dithering’ was used to describe our foreign policy. No ‘ahhs’ or ‘ummms’ (waiting for the teleprompter to catch up)…I guess that is what happens when you trully ‘speak from your heart and ideology’ not have to fumble and think ‘what did they tell me to say?’
If you get a chance…listen for yourself.
Thanks Boys for putting this thread up!!! I think somewhere, if Hillary hears that talk…she will smile for our Country.
November 17, 2009 at 2:05 pm
I think Bernard Goldberg hit the nail on the head when he explained to O’Reilly why the left (I would expand this to say all elitists, including those on the right): she represents middle America, and they hate middle America. But Goldberg says it better:

November 17, 2009 at 2:11 pm
If you want some ‘giggles’ go over the the DUmp.
Heads are exploding. They are trying to come up with new and unique ways to call her ‘dumb.’ Cannot challenge her stances…
Great theatre there.

And now it is like that package is on fire and left on America’s doorstep.
November 17, 2009 at 2:15 pm
I just love the Hillbuzz boys~tellin’ it like it is….True Patriots thru & thru….
My favorite part of this post is the fact you might be reading another book (after Going Rogue) with the GR jacket cover! LOVE IT!
p.s., the Limbaugh interview was really good~also his take on what Dr. Utopia’s take on women’s rights in the U.S. vs. China…get a clue O!
November 17, 2009 at 2:55 pm
I heard the clip of Dr. Utopia talking about America’s imperfections–a specific example of which was the treatment of women in the USA by some men. Hello! You could have chosen Hillary to be your VP . . . or even some other woman. But you chose a guy who’s gone rogue when he talks (off-message) more times than minutes that Sarah Palin has been alive!
November 17, 2009 at 4:07 pm
AYFKM? Dr. Utopia has something to say about how women are treated in the US. Get out/no way!
November 17, 2009 at 9:46 pm
Here’s an oldie, but goodie from Youtube of Obama calling a female reporter sweetie. Also in the info, it reminds us that as a Senator he paid his female staffers 83 cents on the dollar compared with male staffers.

My book is being delivered on Friday from amazon.com I CANT WAIT..Also I listened to Sarah on Rush today..she was AWESOME!!! This is what I wrote on another forum..
It was an AWESOME interview. That is why the media keeps on bringing up the McCain campaign and soap opera crap like Levi. They don’t want Sarah to talk about the issues because they KNOW she is smart. The more people hear her speak out about the issues, the more people will realize that she is intelligent. That is why the media is propping up Levi every damn minute, to counter her popularity. They don’t want her to gain momentum so they bring their useful idiot out. I wish Rush had let her talk more, a half an hour was NOT enough
November 17, 2009 at 2:46 pm
I agree. I wish she had been on with Rush for 2 hours!
November 17, 2009 at 3:40 pm
I agree, 30 minutes wasn’t long enough to fully discuss policy. She did an excellent job boiling her answers down to just the facts but I would LOVE to had heard her for 2 hours going into depth.
She definitely has depth! I really appreciate Rush only talking policy.
November 17, 2009 at 4:08 pm
Yes that’s incredibly valuable. Thanks go out to El Rushbo.
November 17, 2009 at 2:23 pm
LMAO I want Sarah to run in 2012 just to watch all the MSM nitwits have convulsions and go into critical care. Imagine the ticket sales to watch Maureen Dowd spontaneously combust on video. Enchanting!
November 17, 2009 at 2:37 pm
I hope her head explodes first. I can’t stand to look at that witch.
November 17, 2009 at 3:42 pm
That would be fun to watch!!! I love seeing the MSM go UNHINGED!
November 17, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Whenever I see her I can’t help but picture maggots, beetles, and all sorts of creepy crawlies emerging from every oriface of her body. Just like in “The Mummy” with beetles crawling out of Arnold Vosloo’s mouth in his role as Imhotep, MoDo is a walking mummified corpse that must be infested with every vile scum sucking dank denizen from hell.
November 18, 2009 at 2:53 am
There is no medication that will work, except maybe burning her at the stake and smearing her ashes on the front door of the NYT.
November 17, 2009 at 4:10 pm
yes I find her viscerally creepy as well. She is what she has made herself to be. She stews in kooky hate and creepy fawning and it oozes from her.
November 17, 2009 at 5:34 pm
robert c and perries–settle down. An adjustment in your medication will make you feel better.
November 17, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Anyone who tells you that Sarah is dumb and not experienced enough to be president – email them the transcript from Rush’s interview. Then also ask them why the media and the liberal and Republican elites continue to bash her. If she’s so dumb – she’s no threat.
November 17, 2009 at 5:54 pm
In reference to Palin, El Rushbo today quoted Arthur Schopenhauer~18th C Philospher:
“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident”
Oh, how this rings too true today.

November 17, 2009 at 2:29 pm
I picked up my copy from Borders Books the minute they opened at 9AM this morning. Just finished Chapter 1 which cronicled her childhood and early years of marriage to Todd. So far a truly interesting and inspiring read. Of all the words used to describe politicians mine for Sarah is refreshing. She is simply refreshing to the political scene.
November 17, 2009 at 2:32 pm
Ah, me- a post referencing Shatner AND Wrath of Khan… how very cool. Give us a Kaiser Soze (Usual Suspects) reference in a future post, and you reach all time coolest blog status.
But to the content of the post- very cool stuff in that Palin is sidestepping the coasts and covering flyover country on her book tour. Hmmm…something about grassroots organizations comes to mind for some reason.
And Rush is doing yeoman’s work beating back the cheap, jealous high school girl nattering of the newstards in the yellowstream media.
Meanwhile, dr. utopia is licking boots and mouthing tired platitudes on the other side of the planet- does anyone even care what nonsense tumbles out of that clown’s empty head anymore?
This is very cool- just hope Sarah doesn’t peak too soon.
November 17, 2009 at 2:40 pm
I don’t think she CAN peak, SOG!
People can’t seem to get enough of her.
I think the masses are clamoring for someone who is genuine, and Sarah is the real deal.
IMHO
November 17, 2009 at 2:33 pm
GOD, I LUV THIS WOMEN. Keep up the good work.
November 17, 2009 at 2:55 pm
McCain vetters reported that Sarah’s answers on foreign policy questions are what sold them on her potential to help the ticket.
That’s why I’ve always found it ironic that she was so pilloried on her inadequacies there. She had just as much foreign policy experience as Obama! Her answers to Rush Limbaugh today show that she has clear convictions and would never sell out American interests to please the fickle court of world opinion.
Meanwhile, Obama is blathering about how what’s “good” for America is not always “good” for other countries. Give me a freakin’ break.
He is the Ditherer-In-Chief …
November 17, 2009 at 3:55 pm
She certainly wouldn’t be bowing to the Emperor of Japan or the King of Saudi Arabia. BTW Zero did manage to bend over quite nicely. He must have had a lot of practice.
November 17, 2009 at 3:56 pm
I’m getting to the point where I just about pop a cork every time I hear someone say that Sarah is not experienced enough to be President. What did we just elect a year ago??? Since when does being a governor of a state not give you experience?
November 17, 2009 at 2:55 pm
I just got an email from “SarahPac”. I donated $100 so I can get the autographed book. I can’t wait.
Go Sarah…. You have my support and my vote.
November 17, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Wow, thanks for all the Rush notes ! Sounds like her strength in interview is actually talking about issues and policies important to Americans. Probably why Oprah did not ask her one question on policy! Would make her Obamao-bow-wow look dull.
Sarah’s next book should be pure policy, then off to the races :)
November 17, 2009 at 3:21 pm
Sarah did well today w/ Rush’s interview. She knows economics and she is brilliant in picking the places for her book signings. She is playing to her strength…flyover America. Gonna wait till Saturday to get my
copy and have it signed by her in Washington, PA.
November 17, 2009 at 3:34 pm
Eugene Robinson at WaPo has an article about how Sarah Palin is the next Evita. I couldn’t stop laughing. They are really stretching things and this is just one of the many illustrations about how delusional the left is when it comes to Sarah. They just make things up as they go along. Evita? Really? What about the fashion deficient she-wolf currently occupying the WH? (Sorry, but I really can’t stand Michelle Obama–she irks the living daylights out of me). I just can’t wait to see Maureen Dowd’s dried uterus when the numbers come out for Oprah’s ratings and the outstanding sales numbers for Sarah’s book.
Saw the Oprah interview yesterday. Oprah looked like she needed to pass a kidney stone. Couldn’t tolerate that smug condescending look her her fat face. Sarah rocked!!
November 17, 2009 at 3:57 pm
…..and her face was faaaaaattt!! What has she been consuming? Old Goodyears?
November 17, 2009 at 4:00 pm
Yes indeed. Maureen Dowd. Someone please hammer a stake into her heart again, she is back up and walking.
November 17, 2009 at 6:25 pm
First she’d need a heart in which to hammer said stake. Hateful, vindictive old crone, that MoDo.
November 17, 2009 at 8:06 pm
Now who is being misogynistic? Can’t you merely criticize Ms. Dowd without the hyperobole? No, you can’t, because you can’t stand a woman who uses words & phrases you do not understand, who is smarter, & better looking than you. You like Palin because she is dumber than a bag of hammers just like the lot of you. If I ever catch any of you in New Hampshire I am going to make sure you never get home.
November 18, 2009 at 2:57 am
Just a touch of sarcasm and snark back at her, you could say a touch of her own medicine. And who let you out of kindergarten to play with the adults today? Aren’t there other websites you could go to and play in the traffic?
November 17, 2009 at 3:57 pm
You know, one hates to harp or look a gift horse in the mouth, but I am genuinely smitten at the overwhelming enthusiasm here for a conservative..what?..icon and other mainstays of the conservative milieu.
I hope I don’t overstep my bounds, but your common sense (in supporting Palin and being gracious to Bush, Cheney, et al) is genuinely heartwarming.
Similarly, as a conservative and fellow despiser of Dr. Utopia, I am fervently praying for a rebellion by Hillary Clinton in 2012. I believe that D/U and his ilk will so have tarnished the once proud name of the Democratic Party, that a revolution will be in order.
Truth be told, I would not be unhappy with her as president and a reasonably (with accent on reasonable) congress. It would be great to see the vicious politics of personal destruction as practiced by the current Pantload-in-Chief fall by the wayside.
November 17, 2009 at 4:17 pm
A dem revolt might seem destructive in the short term, but on the other hand it could be what saves the dem party in the long term.
But I’m not sure the rebel dems have the stones for it.
November 17, 2009 at 4:02 pm
1,000,000 plus supporters on Facebook….it has jumped from 948K to 1M in just a few days!!

“Snake oil science” – a most perfect phrase, Sarah.
With just a very few seconds available, I thought she did an awesome job in commenting on illegal immigration, too. The term “immigration” should always be spoken of accompanied either by “illegal” or “legal”, please. No more muddy waters, politicians. A nation has to have laws and order to remain safe and free and, while I have compassion galore for every person who wants to come to this still-fighting-to-remain- great nation of ours, demonstrating complete disrespect for the LAWS of our nation by one’s manner of entry presents quite a quandary, doesn’t it?

I loved the part in the interview where she told Rush, “The republicans (or moderates) need to be more FORCEFUL in getting their points across”. A-freakin-MEN Sister.
They always let the other side frame the debate.
November 17, 2009 at 6:59 pm
UPS just delivered my copy of Going Rogue from Amazon!!
I was at my local Sam’s Club this afternoon. There were about 20 copies, in a stand along with other titles at one end of the book row.
November 17, 2009 at 7:46 pm
You guys, she just said Obama’s Afghan policies are “ass backwards” to Barbara Walters on World News Tonight!
Can I just say I love her…she sounds just like me!
November 17, 2009 at 11:44 pm
did she really? love her. and she’s right.
November 17, 2009 at 7:52 pm
OT, but did you all here the last comment on Rush, after Palin, about Real Men, and John Wayne men? Is this really a comeback?
November 17, 2009 at 10:25 pm
It was cool, I liked the whole “Don Draper” as the real man reference, it was interesting.
November 17, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Woot, just got home from Borders where I got the next to last copy on their stand. I love the picture of her and Todd on the back cover.
I missed the Rush interview, so thanks for posting it :)
November 17, 2009 at 9:00 pm
I heard Sarah on Limbaugh today. I can’t believe I now listen to Limbaugh. I really don’t agree with her politically, but I like her spunk and I will do everything in my power to make sure that she is not bitc h slapped by the American media. The Newsweek cover has my blood boiling. If only I had subscribed to that rag, so I could cancel in a huff.
I will not let them do to Palin what was done to Hillary. My daughters and our country depends of it.
November 17, 2009 at 11:27 pm
Thanks HillBuzz people for telling the truth to your readers. I discovered you in August 2008 when you were trying to sound the firebell on Dr. Dystopia and his corrrupt Chicago Rezko/Blago connections and passed your site on to other family members.
Our lamestream media is working tirelessly to destroy our nation and must be exposed as the vile prevaricators. The disingenuousness of the media is not reserved only for Sarah and Hillary but is to be seen on every issue that involves our liberties, our nation’s safety, and our country’s and posterity’s future.
And yes though I voted for Mc Cain (because of Palin) I wonder when Hillary is going to separate herself from the heinous cabal that reigns from the White House.
November 18, 2009 at 12:15 am
I. Love. My. Hillbuzz Boys!!! You guys ROCK!!!
I became addicted to you guys two months before the despicable election. I now look forward to reading you every single night.
Is Sarah coming anywhere near you guys on her book tour? If she is, I’m sure you will bust a move to meet her! I’m sure she would LOVE you guys as much as you love her!
November 18, 2009 at 2:49 am
Don’t forget to watch Sarah on Hannity on the 18th and O’Reilly the 19th. O’Reilly indicated today he was very impressed.
As CEO of Alaska (this includes the Military in AL and HI) Sarah had a resume that far surpassed any of her contenders. She actually gets things done. I can remember thinking that this woman accomplished so much in so little time, while raising a family.

November 18, 2009 at 11:56 am
Here’s why they hate her so much… she stands as a repudiation of their ideology. She is guilty of Succeeding While being a Conservative Woman (SWCW). And even worse, she is a beautiful woman – a real traitor to her “interest group.” She escaped the liberal plantation, but is hated even more than conservative blacks because she is a bigger threat as a representative of 50% of the population, rather than just 10% or 12%. Yeah – expect more seething hatred.
