We’ve had coffee with Hillary Clinton before — in a room with few people in it, no media, where she can be herself and say whatever she wants to say. The woman is funny, sharp, self-depreciating, REAL, honest, charming, and astute. Some of you out there wonder why we’ll support her to our dying days without question. You ask why we’re so loyal to her. You wonder why we’re so determined to make sure what was done to her is NEVER done to another woman again…and that Dr. Utopia does not do again in the Caucuses and Primaries next year what he did in 2008.
It’s because, first and foremost, Hillary Clinton is a proud and committed AMERICAN. That’s above everything else. The woman loves this country more than anything and wakes up every morning to do whatever she can to help keep it safe, strong, and prosperous.
We’ve seen her up close. We’ve seen her with no makeup, no artiface, no camera crews. We’ve seen the real deal…and the real deal is that she’s one in a million.
And, she really is hilarious when she wants to be. Her humor is dry, sharp, and biting. She’s sarcastic and to the point.
And we are sure they honestly will do this at some point…and it will probably be under the radar and we won’t hear about it until long after it’s happened, but it will happen.
Clinton people support the Palins. Palin people support the Clintons. Both sides do not agree on everything, but we all clearly have common experiences sustaining attack after attack from the Left in the name of Dr. Utopia.
Can you not understand how a bond would naturally develop there?
Just imagine how nervous the egomaniac in the White House would be if Clinton and Palin were really in a room together, with no administration spies, and the two of them could talk frankly.
We believe if Palin really is serious about running for president this will indeed happen. Clinton would help her, if she doesn’t intend to go for the 2012 nomination herself (and primary Dr. Utopia). If Dr. Utopia’s a one term president, Clinton is redeemed and the DNC will regret backing the loser in 2008.
Palin supporters need to always be respectful of the Clintons. You don’t need to sing Hillary’s praises, you don’t need to say anything nice about Bill, but you need to refrain from any of the Clinton bashing many in Republican circles autodefault to. It gets you nowhere.
The Clintons love America.
The Palins love America.
Dr. Utopia and his wife love themselves, and all the attention, fame, fortune, and pleasures they are getting now.
It’s as simple as that, folks.
Coffee anyone?
******
UPDATE: Here’s the video where Clinton says she’d love to have coffee with Palin. We just love watching Clinton do these things, because she’s having so much fun saying “I’m out of politics!” so she doesn’t have to comment on things she doesn’t want to. It’s a marvelous strategy for someone who is doing her level best to make sure none of the domestic insanity this administration pushes is falling on her. She will walk away from these four years clean as a whistle. For those of you who still keep insisting she would have been better off in the Senate where she’d have to be voting on Utopiacare and Cap & Trade and reckless spending, you need to stop and think about moments like this. She would never have been able to get away with the no comment stuff as a Senator.
November 15, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Here’s a video of Hillary on ABC.
http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2009/11/hillary-to-sarah-lets-have-coffee.html
I really love this line in Sarah’s book where she goes on to say (about Hillary) that…
“A lot of her supporters think she proved what Margaret Thatcher proclaimed: “If you want something said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman.””
;)
November 15, 2009 at 1:43 pm
That would be some exciting coffee!
November 15, 2009 at 3:21 pm
I would love to see the Hillbuzz boys find a way to be the ladies’ barrista!
I think they’d encase the picture of them and the ladies in gold and keep it in a temperature controlled room ;)
Dudes, I would totally do the same!
November 15, 2009 at 6:47 pm
Hahahahha!!!
I’d be happy to clean up after these fine women!
So glad HRC said what she did. Can’t wait until they meet…and plot the overthrow of Utopia and company!!!!
November 15, 2009 at 1:47 pm
This is getting very interesting. I can’t wait for the next episode. Don’t you just want to be in their club? You know, sit around sharing recipes and political strategies. Wow, wouldn’t that beat an afternoon with the Blue-hairs?
November 15, 2009 at 1:49 pm
HillBuzz: you guys absolutely ROCK!
:)
(maybe you guys can get an invite to this coffee meeting) :)
Hillary and Sarah would both appreciate you guys!
November 15, 2009 at 2:14 pm
will this happen? of course it will, if nothing else hillary has to be curious as to what is sara REALLY like!
cant wait, the MSM will have labor pains!
November 15, 2009 at 2:14 pm
I’m almost jealous that I couldn’t have made it as plain and simple as you guys just did. :-P
November 15, 2009 at 2:19 pm
I don’t have a facebook acctn, but can someone PLEASE post this on Sarah’s facebook page?? Thanks.
November 15, 2009 at 2:20 pm
I know I post this alot so please dont get mad at me, but Ive been dreaming of Hillary endorsing Sarah in 2012 saying “i know we disagree on alot, but i know she loves this country and our military, will be an advocate for woman, and will bring us energy indepence and thats what we need right now”
Deep down maybe hillary wants to help bring down the messiah. A good bookend to her career!
November 15, 2009 at 2:27 pm
I also agree with Hillbuzz on this major point.
Palin supporters need to realise millions of hillary supporters (dems/indies) will back Sarah Palin. But do NOT attack Hillary as a person, attack her views/policies. But NO personal insults, no praises needed, but no personal sexist insults agn hillary. Rush/Levin/Hannity better realise this!
Attack Hillary’s policies all you want… BUT No sexist insults against Hillary in the name of promoting Palin. You will lose many hillary-supporters-who-also-support-Palin that way, myself included.
/commentary over :)
November 15, 2009 at 6:49 pm
I agree a thousand percent. Any UNFAIR Hillary bashing, and I’m OUT.
November 15, 2009 at 10:14 pm
I just think it needs to be stopped all together. Argue with a person’s policies – don’t attack them as a person.
If you notice hardly any of the attacks on Palin and Clinton involve policy.
It’s the oldest trick in the book when you can’t defeat the “enemy” with your intelligence. There’s a whole lotta dumb people today.
November 15, 2009 at 2:28 pm
The Clintons love America.
The Palins love America.
Dr. Utopia and his wife love themselves, and all the attention, fame, fortune, and pleasures they are getting now
+++++
Sums it up perfectly!
November 15, 2009 at 2:51 pm
I just had the most brilliant idea…well…more of a dream, what if Hillary and Palin ran together for the next election. It wouldn’t matter who was Pres/Vice, would that not be the most awesome ticket?
November 15, 2009 at 6:01 pm
If we could get Hillary to beat Obama in the primary and get Sarah the GOP nod I would love to see them come out in a press conference with a contract with America that we will have a female President and a female Vice President. That America will get to choose who is President and the runner up will be the VP. So we will get both. We would just be deciding who is at the top of the ticket and who is VP. They will have to be civil and can commit to it because they are their own ticket and will have to work together after once in office.
Their slogan could be “Restoring America, Healing America, Standing Strong Together”
However, I think the DNC and RNC would all pass out :)
I really think that Hillary may have her eye on a SCOTUS position and a future for Chelsea. Sarah would certainly accommodate that.
November 15, 2009 at 9:35 pm
For that matter, I think Palin has Willow’s future in mind as well. (Willow’s the middle daughter and the one she took to all the suffragist landmarks on her trip to New York State.)
November 15, 2009 at 6:50 pm
They should both screw their respective parties, go rogue, and run TOGETHER as Indys! That’s the America I want to see!!!!
November 15, 2009 at 11:40 pm
That’s not as crazy as it sounded, at first. If Hillary goes after the Messiah in 2012, it will really shake the Dems up. It may even permanently facture that party. I could see that as an Independent ticket. Probably the only path to Independent success. I have no love for the Dems and have lost almost all respect for the Repubs. This whole politcal structure needs to be shaken up and shaken apart. I would support that ticket no matter who you put as P and VP. Seriously, I am not a Hillary supporter but I respect your positions here and love your honesty so, I’ll take your word for it on her.
November 15, 2009 at 3:02 pm
The key point and 100% correct -
The Clintons love America.
The Palins love America
Earlier today after watching Hillary on This Week, I was reminded for some reason, of her talking so openly during the campaign when she choked up with tears. I found it and watched it again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVlwH7-05Fk
The warnings about what can happen to America are in that clip. She knew we would “spin out of control”. I’m sure that’s why she took the Secy of State job.
She is the only reason I can sleep at night. I can’t believe I used to think she was the worst person in the world. I guess it takes seeing the worst person in the world in order to recognize that someone else wasn’t. Sort of like you guys seeing that Bush wasn’t the worst person in the world. I will continue to say good things about Hillary and will promise not to say anything bad about her husband.
November 15, 2009 at 3:08 pm
I thought it was so funny last year when McCain was giving his speech at the Alfred Newman dinner, and said something like “some of you here are pulling for me to win…it’s nice to see you, Hillary” and the camera cut to her and she was laughing hysterically–she couldn’t stop. Now, THAT was funny.
November 15, 2009 at 5:57 pm
That was a great moment. As a PUMA I LOL’d. McCain was so on during that dinner. It was amazing.
November 15, 2009 at 6:27 pm
And the joke about how Bill was so unwilling to campaign for Obama, that was funny, too. Obama’s speech was so unfunny.
November 15, 2009 at 10:56 pm
McCain absolutely rocked at the Newman Dinner…he was so funny and natural. He also made a joke about Bill being absent from the dinner…’he didn’t feel it was right to attend and not observe Zorastian New Year.’
Conversely, The LightBringer was NOT a humor bringer. He was stiff, monotone and boring as he droned on about himself (his favorite subject!!!).
November 15, 2009 at 3:17 pm
I was extremely pleased when Palin acknowledged Clinton and Ferraro in her speech in Dayton, Ohio. I think she established respect for the person regardless of the policies, so I was doubly pleased when Clinton declined to “attack” Palin like so many hoped she would. I distinctly remember Clinton praising Palin’s performance during the VP debate and while still disagreeing with her policies she commended Palin personally.
There are still some things Mrs. Clinton does as SoS that make me slap my forehead and say,”Ugh! Why?!” but those moments are far and few between, and I’ve always felt Ms. Clinton was more hawkish in her FoPo views than most Dems. Hell, she was originally a Goldwater Girl, so there’s some nugget of conservatism there ;) My request is she let it out a little more as SoS. I don’t care what Pres. Obama says, keep pushing the Iranians, Ms. Clinton and for God’s sake keep pressing him about the Afghan strategy! Double team him with the General!
November 15, 2009 at 3:17 pm
I had to come here as soon as I’d heard she said that. How amazing would it be to listen in on that conversation? There are a lot of conservatives who developed a lot of respect for Hillary over the course of her primary fight, because she kept hitting obstacles but they never got her down. Many in the media couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t just fall down and let it go, and chalked it up to narcissism and excessive ambition. But your average conservative loves an underdog and she fought a great fight. We also saw how very quickly the samecriticisms made of Clinton were aimed at Palin without skipping a beat, exposing their shallowness. As you say, there are a lot of Palin supporters who love Clinton.
Note that “a lot” is never going to be “all”, and if Palin becomes the choice of a majority of Republicans in 2012, I’d say that “a lot” won’t even be “most.” You can’t do anything about that since no one is ever universally liked. Let’s just toast to ourselves and to a great moment of strong female political conviviality.
November 15, 2009 at 7:20 pm
I’d love to be a fly on the wall during that conversation. I bet Obama got all wee wee up when he heard. He probably started screaming to AxelFRAUD “You cannot let that happen, Hillary and Sarah together, they will plot against me, damn it, my plan to destroy America is not complete yet, those two cannot get together”
November 15, 2009 at 3:36 pm
How about our girls cut loose from the parties run by the men and form their own girl-power ticket? Just run as an independent team, committed to keeping the country safe, prosperous and respected by and for all the men and women.
November 15, 2009 at 3:45 pm
I think that the only person who can beat Obama in another primary is Hillary Clinton. Obama will be so toxic at that point that the dems will beg her to run in 2012. And Hillary is already starting to distance herself from Obama’s decision to try KSM in a civilian court(it was quite clear on Meet The Press that she did not approve). I would love it if HRC ran in 2012.
Sarah Palin-how could you not like this woman. But I think that 2012 might be too soon for a presidential run. Sarah is still very young-still in her 40’s right now. But if she decides to run against Obama, she has my vote.
I just love that fact that 2 very strong women are showing mutual respect for one another. And I would love it if they were on the same ticket in 2012. Maybe that is what the “Coffee” would be about.
November 15, 2009 at 6:46 pm
I really like your idea.
November 16, 2009 at 1:08 am
Ditto!

Hillary Clinton On MTP: “Absolutely” Look Forward To Coffee With Sara Palin
http://hotairpundit.blogspot.com/2009/11/hillary-clinton-on-mtp-absolutely-look.html
November 15, 2009 at 3:59 pm
This is possibly one of your best and most beautiful articles yet.
Hillary running for President with Sarah as the VP. Could this Country ask for more?
November 15, 2009 at 6:53 pm
No. It could not. If I died a minute after they were sworn in, I’d do so with a smile on my face, happy and satisfied, and certain of a great future for the country that I love so much. Rise, Hill and Sarah…and the Constitution, rise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 15, 2009 at 4:22 pm
Take a look at this photo.
Oprah has a death grip on the Palin girls. She has her chubby little fingers buried in Sarah’s ribs.
http://www.daylife.com/photo/06smfMj6TBcy0
November 15, 2009 at 5:55 pm
LOL, Oprah does look like she’s trying to squeeze them to death.
November 15, 2009 at 6:25 pm
Haha, what a completely awkward photo.
November 15, 2009 at 7:07 pm
Did you notice they spelled the title of the book
“Going Rouge” and not Going Rogue.
Hmmmm……. simple error or another subtle slam?
November 15, 2009 at 10:19 pm
May NOT be a mistake….
http://orbooks.com/
“Sarah Palin; An American Nightmare”
November 15, 2009 at 7:22 pm
Sarah probably thought “geez Oprah, why you squeezing me like that, I’m not a Big Mac” LOL
November 15, 2009 at 7:28 pm
Look closely, she’s assaulting these women to make herself look thinner. Problems with your weight Oprah?
November 15, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Dear Hillbuzz,
You guys are heros to me. My political trajectory has been the exact same as yours. I thank you for thanking George Bush and Laura Bush. I feel the same way, and have a lot of respect for George Bush that I used to now have. You guys are terrific, and are the best writers out there today. Keep it up. Pray for us here in NYC, yikes. also love the piece you wrote about your friend who was killed at the Trade Center. It was so beautifully written and made her so alive, and funny, it was just wonderful.
November 15, 2009 at 4:45 pm
When I saw this on AOL news, you were the first people I thought of— maybe you will be invited to have coffee with them. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Someone sent me a link to this site because of the blog you wrote about the Bush’s visit to Ft. Hood. Since then, I have been a fan.
In spite of the fact that I am a “tea-bagging, racist,homophobic,hate-filled,wealthy astroturf domestic terrorist right wingnut”…um, ok, can’t remember what else they call me…I, too, would have voted for Hillary had that been an option. Never has anything made me so angry as the horrible way she was treated by the DNC.
As it was, I voted for Palin (McCain by default).
Keep up the good work; I look forward to reading your blogs and I wish you the best in all of your endeavors.
November 15, 2009 at 5:49 pm
While they wouldn’t agree on policy issues I’m inclined to think they would have an appreciation for the other for enduring non-stop sexist attacks from the media and the good old boys networks in both parties.
I would bet both Hillary and Sarah would have a good laugh about the media scum who deride and bash them. They are both realists and understand that politics is tough but it’s nice to have someone understand how sometimes the personal stuff has to get to a person.
November 16, 2009 at 11:10 am
Isn’t SaraCuda currently surrounded by several former Hillary advisors? This may be more realistic than we think? But unfortunately it would never be known publicly unless HRC stepped down as SoS.
November 15, 2009 at 6:00 pm
Right on, HB. One thing I keep telling my Republican friends (and on the ‘net, esp. Hot Air) is that Hillary Hate is so pedestrian and easy among the right and that it really gets you nowhere.
You don’t have to ADORE her (like I do) but at least respect her, and — by proxy — her 18 million strong that may have voted Dr. U in ‘08, but won’t be fooled again.
November 15, 2009 at 6:08 pm
I actually think that a LOT of Sarah supporters have come to respect Hillary. I think the same Republicans that dismiss Sarah and belittle her are the same ones that keep auto-defaulting to Hillary bashing.
I think the biggest shock to everyone if they are honest is the deep disgusting misogyny and vitriol coming from the “we only pretend to be tolerant and support women” left.

Hillary and Sarah’s Common Theme
by Meghan McCain
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-11-09/the-goldilocks-syndrome/
Good article! Check it out if you haven’t read it.
November 15, 2009 at 6:14 pm
Who has the media been tougher on the past week, Sarah Palin, or Nidal Malik Hassan?
Remember, he was according to the media discriminated against, under great stress, just snapped, had PTSD, his religion had nothing to do with it, no terrorism.
November 15, 2009 at 8:57 pm
*LOL* Very good point!
November 15, 2009 at 6:21 pm
I almost cheered when I heard HRC say that this morning. Maybe that split ticket isn’t so far fetched?
November 15, 2009 at 6:56 pm
Not. At. All.
Everyone: GO ROGUE! HRC and SP in 2012!
And after HRC is through, SP and ?.
November 15, 2009 at 6:58 pm
HRC can teach SP a lot about government, etc. And Sarah will bring HRC’s down-to-earth side to the fore. The country will benefit mightily from these two women working together. They need not agree on every single point.
November 15, 2009 at 7:22 pm
I would LOVE to see that ticket. It would drive the MSM insane!!!!
November 15, 2009 at 9:35 pm
The fact that they don’t agree on every point is an asset. Independent thinking has been nowhere to be seen since the 2000 election.
Its about time people learned the benefits of not following the pack. Not only that, but it will really piss The Kenyan off to no end.
November 16, 2009 at 10:32 am
Anthony: “The Kenyan”–LMAO!
November 15, 2009 at 8:56 pm
You know … they’ve both been crapped on by their own party … perhaps it is time for a new third party.
November 15, 2009 at 9:35 pm
Could Bill find a place there too?
November 15, 2009 at 6:25 pm
I admit I am a reformed Hillary dis-liker. I never hated her and I mostly didn’t understand her. Oh to be a fly on the wall when she and Palin talk. I agree that no matter what you thought of President Clinton or for that matter any president up to Dr. Utopia (gotta love it) you knew deep down they loved this country. This one you can fairly see the disdain he has for it. Thank you guys. You are my new favorite blog.
November 15, 2009 at 11:46 pm
I am too. I never hated her, I just couldn’t support her. But a Clinton/Palin or Palin/Clinton ticket. Yeah, I can get behind that. I really sick of the Dems and I am getting very ill with the Repubs. Independent conservative.
November 15, 2009 at 6:48 pm
Hey Hillbuzz dudes, it’s great to read about your patriotism and learn more about who you are. I’m glad to have discovered you, even though–as a conservative christian girl—we might disagree on many issues. What I DO discern from reading your blog is that you love this country as much as I do.
Good on ya.
A fellow patriot
November 15, 2009 at 7:06 pm
I appreciate and respect the conservative point of view. Even though I do not agree on every issue, I know that you love our country. You are always welcome here my fellow patriot.
And God bless America
November 15, 2009 at 7:03 pm
I also meant to add… to any Obot trolls, we know your vile ways, I suspect you will try and muddy the waters by putting out false insults Sarah supposedly said against Hillary…so that you split the supporters up..
WON’T WORK!
Thank God for the internet, and the sarah blogs and HillBuzz. I certainly don’t watch or read any MSM anymore, so try and spread lies that way, NO ONE WILL BELIEVE YOU ANYWAYS!
November 15, 2009 at 7:21 pm
Why do these people call themselves conservatives? Obviously David Brooks is NOT, and that’s why they use him on this phony Sunday show. Hey, Brooks, the only JOKE in the Republican party is YOU!
November 15, 2009 at 7:24 pm
David Brooks is NOT a Conservative, he must have been talking about Obama..three months and STILL no word about Afghanistan. Such a genius Obama is, taking his sweet ass time about such an important issue. We all have to wait, the genius is pondering LOL
November 15, 2009 at 8:54 pm
Wow …. I’ve come to realize that President Obama was right about something. Republicans ARE out of touch!
What a marroon.
November 15, 2009 at 9:41 pm
David Brooks wouldn’t know a Republican if it bit him in the ass. He is nothing more then an ass kisser for obama. He practically has orgasms whenever his name is mentioned
November 15, 2009 at 9:45 pm
Yes, but the MSM portray him as a person who speaks for Conservatives.
That asshole does not speak for anyone but his employer: ABC.
Don’t you guys get that we are all being “played”?
Sarah is a joke? Fuck you, Brooks, she had a number one best selling book BEFORE the book was even released!
November 16, 2009 at 11:27 am
Barracudas have indeed been known to bite folks in the @$$!
November 15, 2009 at 7:34 pm
Brooks is one of those people like Peggy Noonan who are so attached to the conservative label, it’s become meaningless. Noonan was working for MSNBC when she referred to Palin’s nomination as “bullshit” on a hot mic because she thought Kay Bailey Hutchison would make a better VP.
The only mistake was that Sarah wasn’t at the top of the ticket.
November 15, 2009 at 9:25 pm
Kay Bailey Hutchison ?? What a joke. She would’ve drawn crowds of 25 maybe 50.
Dickless Morris was singing her praises before the convention. I couldn’t understand it. The woman is a useless snoozefest. She is the personification of country club republican.
This Texan’s voting for Perry.
November 15, 2009 at 9:39 pm
I agree, Kay Bailey is too inside DC.
Noonan.. another elitist who thinks she knows what best for us average stupid americans.
November 15, 2009 at 10:26 pm
You know, I used to like Peggy, but last year it was like she was replaced by a pod person. She hasn’t been back yet. She’s still a pod person.
November 16, 2009 at 1:12 am
kcfromtx, Agreed. Hutchison? They always pick the losers for us, don’t they? This Texan’s voting Perry, too. YEAH!!
With Perry, Texas leads the nation in job creation. In 2008, Texas created more jobs than the other 49 states combined.
Gov. Perry– KEEPING TEXAS RED and MOVING AHEAD!
November 15, 2009 at 7:58 pm
I really appreciate having a forum that we can all agree to disagree for the sake of our country.
Hillbuzz is providing a rare gem in todays
environment.
I love the idea of two rougues on the ticket for 2012. I can dream. Hillary/Sarah You go girls !!! Can anyone say- E ticket ?
That is CHANGE that I can believe in.

November 15, 2009 at 8:11 pm
Wow I’m sorry it took me so long today to read this! LOVE IT, LOVE IT and totally agree with it!
W00T!
November 15, 2009 at 8:15 pm
Hillbuzz, I agree with most of what you write and I say RIGHT ON Sarah but I have big problem with Hillary. Bill outta da picture has pleased me to no end–neutered! But, unfortunately, we are still saddled with all the Obamabots, i.e the Democrats who still want to force their will on us. Hillary has got to have them for the next election. She has to have their money to even mount a primary challenge. Do you really think that there is going to be a widespread defection to her side by Democrats? I have a real BIG problem with what she said about Afghanistan this weekend–if she supports the effort (like she always has–she has voted positive for troops) she needs to stick up for our guys and gals over there.
If she is at odds with “affairs of state” she needs to let the people of this country know and not mimic Dr. Utpoia and say everything is hunky dory–”Oh by the way we are pulling out of Afghanistan even though my boss says its a necessary war. OBL shoudda been skunked out of his cave by now, but its all Bush’s fault we didn’t because they did not do it a long time ago” OR something. YADA yada
These people in the WH disgust me and sorry, but everyday that Hillary goes along with this sham of a government disgusts me even more. Don’t see the political pluses in this for Hillary at all.
If she goes along with this Afghanistan fiasco, she has lost me FOREVER.
November 15, 2009 at 8:22 pm
as a pretty staunch hillary supporter, I know that she is much more hawkish that the boot-licking marxist. She has been muzzled.
There is NO way in hell she would have approved of a freaking terrorist being tried in civilian court! I wish she would leave this immature incompetent administration, but I suspect she won’t… YET.
She will leave, and she will leave when it hurts the marxist the most.
November 15, 2009 at 8:59 pm
We can only hope and pray.
November 16, 2009 at 12:44 am
It’s my understanding that Clinton is bucking against the Admin’s view of Al Qaeda and the Taliban:
“Vice President Biden has argued against increasing the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, saying Pakistan poses the greater threat, but Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have both warned that the Taliban and Al Qaeda remain connected. If the Taliban were to regain control of large parts of Afghanistan, the country could serve as a sanctuary for Al Qaeda fighters, the advisors said.
A State Department spokesman said Thursday that Clinton believes the Taliban and Al Qaeda are both a threat and the U.S. is fighting the whole idea of killing in the name of religious extremism.”
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/10/08/official-obama-send-troops-al-qaeda-bay/
I hope she keeps double teaming the Pres. w/Gates to push him to treat this as a full blown war against a ruthless and dangerous enemy.
November 15, 2009 at 8:18 pm
“Palin supporters need to always be respectful of the Clintons. You don’t need to sing Hillary’s praises, you don’t need to say anything nice about Bill, but you need to refrain from any of the Clinton bashing many in Republican circles autodefault to.”
Indeed, and I will. I too actually love the idea of them getting together. It could lead to a political powershift that would be felt in the ground.
Thank you, HillBuzz and PUMAS. You have earned the support of a conservative.

I just want to say that I am so happy that I found your site. You guys are funny and (unlike that White House Parrot whatever her name is) speak truth to power. As a Canuck (a rather concerned one), I am happy to see that so many of you folks below the 49th have recognized what a self absorbed twit you have elected.
Coffee with Sarah and Hill? You betchya! Unlike those twerps in the MSM I saw Palin a long way off and think she is refreshing. Besides she doesn’t wear WWF wresting belts over shower curtain blue overcoats to solemn events. Actually I can’t imagine MO in spike heels- do they make them that strong?
Just wondering. I am more of a Keds guy.
Keep up the great work!

While the ladies are having a cup of coffee, I think that they should discuss the 2 of them running for President, Vice-President-they would win. What the DNC did to Mrs. Clinton was beyond corruption. I am a registered Democrat I wrote in Hillary it was considered a protest vote here in Florida. Let’s all go rogue and patriot. Obama is from my home town Chicago-the cesspool of corruption South Side of Chicago, Cook County Illinois famous for giving birth to corrupt politicians. They really scrapped the bottom of the barrel to get that Kenyan installed. Physically impossible for him to be a patriotic American.

I’m a registered Republican and I was infuriated by what happened to Secretary Clinton. It could not have been more obvious that it was fixed. She has earned my respect and loyalty. I know for a fact she loves this country and I would sleep well at night knowing she was in charge.
November 15, 2009 at 11:13 pm
What a great thread Boyz (and everyone!)…Hillary and Sarah have alot in common. They are both intelligent, both moms, and each of them have a valid Birth Certificate.
Watch The Won discover a ’sudden need’ to send Secretary of State Clinton to, lets say, to Antarctica for some long term ‘diplomatic mission.’
No one can be permitted to attract attention from The Won.

Clinton-Palin 2012 all the way!!!
November 16, 2009 at 1:14 am
Yes, yes, yes! We’re on standby 24/7.
November 16, 2009 at 11:35 am
Uh, slight correction……Palin-Clinton 2012….there, fixed it;]
November 15, 2009 at 11:47 pm
Thought I’d share this. I made it way back when Palin resigned from Governorship and was lambasted by the media.
For some reason, YouTube seems to be messing with it. The intro and picture-in-video stuff is missing, and the speech is slower than the original.
Before it disappears completely,

heh-heh-heh…even as is: Niiiice!
November 16, 2009 at 11:16 am
Very nice!
Be sure to keep a back up copy in case Youtube “accidentally” loses/ destroys/ deletes it.
I am sure there are other places you can post it….
November 16, 2009 at 1:02 pm
I have it safely resting on my desktop as a .mov
Re: YouTube, I’m not surprised. The whole Google giving The Kenyan $60M during the campaign and then buying YouTube was the first clue.
If need be, I’ll pay WP the fee for my own player.

Like a lot of the others, as soon as I read this on Lucienne.com I zoomed over here. Your honest Bush apology hooked me. It was so refreshing that you here have become #5 of my top 5 daily “must check out”. Funny, also like many others, the first thing that came to my mind was a Palin/Clinton Clinton/Palin ticket for 2012. I am a firm conservative but, I really like the idea of that. There is nothing else in either party that excites me over a suppressed groan. Who knows, give it six months and I may even become a Hillary supporter…..maybe :-)

Great post.
I’m a lifelong Republican, and in the 90s I didn’t much care for the Clintons to be honest, but oh my after seeing “Dr. Utopia” (ha! ha!) I wish everyday that the Democrats would have nominated Hillary, she would have been a great president I think! We’d be so, so, so much better off!
I just hope he doesn’t do irreparable damage before Jan 20 2013.
November 16, 2009 at 10:41 am
Hi, Doug: The Dems DID nominate HRC. But the DNC, under the thumb of Herr Doktor Dean and the Gang of Losers, and ACORN, under the “guidance” of Dr. Utopia, undid what the rank and file wanted.
The former mucked with delegates at the DNC’s Rule and Bylaws Committee meeting and the latter CHEATED at caucuses around the country. I’m a firsthand witness to what ACORN did.
HRC got more votes than Utopia. We waz screwed!

Do you remember when most of us were introduced to Sarah!
The 2008 Republican National Convention .
She made her first impression………….
Sarah Palin’s big moment in St Paul last night. The young governor of Alaska issued a rallying cry to the conservative Republican base that will go down in the annals of the culture wars as one of the most energising opening salvos of recent times.
I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA … I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a “community organizer,” except … ROFLOL
And the she debated Joe Biden…
She killed. She had him at “Nice to meet you. Hey, can I call you Joe?” She was the star. He was the second male lead, the good-natured best friend of the leading man.
Remember?
To you surprised, scared, hateful, wetting in your bed liberals ……………
***BEHOLD*** The Second Coming of SARAH PALIN!!!
No handlers, just an ordinary citizen.
And it’s going to be 24/7 Sara Palin. And it ain’t going to STOP!!!
I got a thrill up my leg…………….
I love to see liberals and RINO’S heads explode…………..
I love watching TV………….
I love going to sleep each night with a smile on my face……………..
November 16, 2009 at 11:46 am
Do you remember when we were all introduced to Joe the Plumber? He asked the future El presidente an honest question…”Are going the raise taxes on the middle class and redistribute it to Acorn….”
He ws pilloried in the State-runned media and had his garbage rummaged through by Ohio/Obama supported goons. Now we can see what Joe said is exactly what is happeneing…..the battles we just fought in the recent elections in NJ, VA (currently ongoing in NY-23) and will continue into 2010-2012 is just an extention of the 2008 battle against the CCS (Chigago Crime Syndicate).

I am a villager4ever and a loyal member of the 18 million villagers. Hillbuzz, keep going, thank you. I can sleep better now that our village chief accepted Palin’s invite for coffee. If they go to Starbucks, that’s even better, we can all hold our old Hillary and Palin signs.
November 16, 2009 at 3:23 am
Hillbuzz, this was a great post! I’m glad you see George W. Bush & Cheney in a possitive light! There was no hesitation from these great patriots! They did what was necessary to keep us safe so we could sleep at night! I also knew in my heart you would put Sarah’s book in a post!Did you know this coming February Sarah will be key speaker at the first Tea Party Convention which will be held in TN. We’re all coming together to take back our country. I think it’s very healthy for Sarah & Hillary meeting! United We Stand!

Wonderful post. Wonderful thread. Linking it to my blog this morning!
Thanks,

In general, I think its very healthy for people to reach across the partisan divide and find common ground. My guess is that Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton could hit it off big-time personally, but their huge differences in government philosophy would make any political alliance that manifests itself as a joint ticket all but impossible.
(I do think the two could make a very strong civic case that a dual standard exists for women pursuing high-office, and this would be a good thing.)
I’m trying to reconcile the positions of Tea Party activists to something that Mrs. Clinton would be comfortable with, and can’t see it. Tea Party folks are addressing something much bigger than partisan positions, they are challenging the fundamental role of government as it has existed for at least seventy or a hundred years. My guess is that Sarah Palin is aligned philosophically with the Tea Party folks, and see them as the political base to champion her ideas. If this is true, everyone is going to be gunning for her. MSM, the federal bureaucracy, Washington elites (e.g. Noonan and Brooks), and both political parties.
November 16, 2009 at 11:32 pm
Oh please let it happen! Dr. Utopia knows he doesn’t stand a chance against two strong, patriotic, united women!
November 21, 2009 at 12:17 am
Taking the SecState job was a brilliant move IMO. She deftly avoids any fallout from having to vote on shit sandwiches.
November 22, 2009 at 12:03 am
I really wanted Hillary to win. Alas. I looked around and saw Palin, and thought… I would love moose chili. And I do. Goes great with coffee too. However, I feel disappointed not to see or hear from Hillary more as Sec. of State. Is she really down with all these people and what ObamACORN in trying to do? How selective the msm is in covering her still.
But I can see it… a la “Thelma and Louise” (minus the attempted rape of course, or Brad Pitt, although, he is more than welcome, and no stealing, or mini liquor bottle littering but consumption in responsible amounts OK, with firearms and explosions), Hillary on board the new Palin Going Rogue bus driving through Ohio regaling Sarah with tales of the road over a cup of joe. It could happen, however, I’ll settle for a mention in the WaPo they alone had a power breakfast in D.C.

Hey there –
I’ve never visited this site before but am so happy to make the acquaintance. I saw a link through a conservative site.
You probably already know this but there are a LOT of conservative women / Palin fans that supported Hillary. I can tell you that in all seriousness cause I was one of them. I believe that Obama stole the primaries from her. I personally witnessed his people disenfranchise Hillary voters in Texas.
There were a lot of us that strongly disagree with Hillary’s positions on a lot of issues but she is so impressive and such a fighter and seemed open to balancing everyone’s concerns. I and many other conservatives were willing to make an exception for her because she really is just that great.
I do not automatically support female candidates btw.
My point is, there may be a LARGE number of Hillary fans who would secretly support Palin and a LARGE number of Palin fans who would secretly support Hillary.
We can’t be the only ones that know that, right?
I don’t think it’s an accident that they are blowing kisses at each other and it can only mean good things.
