The Kennedys of Massachusetts are unbelievable. As shameless and single-minded as spiders. The whole world’s their golden web, and we all are just hapless morsels for them to feed on.
The current outrage involving these would-be aristocrats is the latest defense spending bill, in which more than $20 million intended to buy food, ammunition, and armored protection for our men and women in harm’s way was instead diverted to the Kennedy Family, for the “Ted Kennedy Institute” — which we can only hope against hope does not include a driving school.
The Kennedys made their fortune running illegal booze and guns in the 1920s, and have amassed millions since by using the House, presidency, and Senate to fund their pet projects, enhance their name and reputation, and send lucrative government deals to their supporters.
They have more than enough millions to fund all manner of “Ted Kennedy Memorials”, on their own dime.
THey do not need to steal money from soldiers in battle to further Kennedy largesse.
When will enough be enough for these horsey spiders? When will any of them take time out of their busy days milking the public to see a dentist?

I remeber reading this, didn’t Kerry that worthless Senator that only cares about himself and his friends put this in the military budget?
and THIS is probably the guy that would be SOS if Hilllary didn’t accept it? The people that complain about Hillary taking this, really should stop and think what it would be like IF she didn’t and one of the Obama supporter people like Kerry being incharge. We can’t even trust him not to take millions of dollar meant for OUR troops to make the Kennedy’s happy.

lyn, didja know John Francoise Kerry served in Vietnam?
Wasn’t it reported, that Teddy (he has been sober for almost seven weeks now!) Kennedy had in his autobiography mentioned that he had bedded (gross visual I know…but stay with me here) over 10,000 women and paid out over 10 mil in hush money?
But the Missus Vickie had it editted out?
So Kerry then reaportions troop funding at twice of the rate of Kennedy Kiss and Tell money for the Kennedy Foundation…that they could have financed themselves if say, old Teddy had cut back and only had 5k flings over the years.
Classy bunch, huh?

Yikes! That’s Gene Simmons and Wilt-the-Stilt Chamberlain territory. Maybe cancer didn’t eat his brain, syphilis did. I am appalled, not to mention chagrined, that 10,000 women were either blind, stupid or morally weak enough to let Teddy Kennedy hit on them. Yuck.
October 15, 2009 at 6:33 pm
I thought it was only 1,000? which led Wilt the Stilt to remark white men can’t [bleep].
October 16, 2009 at 11:01 am
“Only” 1,000. Do you even have a nodding acquaintance with 1,000 women? Whatever the actual number of conquests, you’ve got to give the guy credit for finding time to play basketball. Wilt was 63 when he died – in bed, naturally. Wonder if he felt 19 … or 109.

Snap!! Sober for seven weeks, hahaha. You are one very funny lady, MQC!

From your link,
look at this crock about how taking the 20 million from the troops is GOOD for the troops.
“Money for the Kennedy Institute was inserted by Mr. Inouye and Sen. John Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat..
Whitney Smith, a spokesman for Mr. Kerry, said the earmark was “a worthy investment.”
“Sen. Kennedy served on the Armed Services Committee for 27 years, where he fought to deliver top-of-the-line body armor and armored Humvees to protect our troops and save lives. Educating Americans about these battles is a core mission for the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, which showcases one senator’s ability to make a difference,” Mr. Smith wrote in an e-mail. “This funding will help the Edward M. Kennedy Institute become one the nation’s pre-eminent civic educational institutions, and Sen. Kerry is proud to have worked with Chairman Inouye to make it possible.”

Lyn – “worthy investment”? An investment means that there is some sort of payout that exceeds the payment made. I’d like these clowns to tell me how $20 million can produce a benefit? Kennedy was a monster as far as I was concerned. I am livid that once again, our money is spent on Congress and Utopia building monuments to themselves.

If they want to name stuff after Kennedy, I’m sure the Navy has a garbage scow in need of a good name.

One word — DESPICABLE!
October 15, 2009 at 3:37 pm
How about this for Despicable:
I woke up to the news this morning that Wall Street was doing so well that three major banks, Citibank, Bank of America and one other were going to pay special bonuses to certain individuals who had done exceptional work for them since the meltdown and “should be rewarded”. They are paying these people with our stimulus money, while those who bank at these institutions are receiving measly interest rates and lending is still at an all time low. The newscaster suggested everyone call their senators to protest this outrage!!! Like my calling Sen. Durbin and Burris here in Illinois would do anything. Maybe calling yours would help a bit.
October 15, 2009 at 4:46 pm
Beyond despicable!!!!!
October 15, 2009 at 5:25 pm
Didn’t Bush get hammered (and maybe rightfully so) about not providing funds for armor-plating vehicles and such?
Sounds like the Kennedy appropriation would buy a lot of Kevlar for our troops.

Does anyone know the number of the bill? I’d like to see who voted for it.
October 15, 2009 at 7:53 pm
S.1390 I believe is the last one Thomas.gov has
There are 3 versions of Bill Number S.1390 for the 111th Congress
1 . National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Placed on Calendar in Senate)[S.1390.PCS]
2 . National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Engrossed as Agreed to or Passed by Senate)[S.1390.ES]
3 . National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Public Print)[S.1390.PP]

I read it was basically H.R. 3326 that they voted on. The vote was 93-7 in the senate.
