HOMICIDE, NOT SWINE FLU, PREVENTING CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN FROM HEARING OBAMA INDOCTRINATION SPEECH NEXT WEEK
Unfortunately, the epidemic which has been plaguing Chicago’s public schools for the last few years is not the swine flu….it’s homicide.
While the left-wing bloggers….and the water carrying media….continue to further the narrative that anyone who opposes the big government policies of congress, or the President, is Racist…..
Minority school children are being slain in tragically record numbers….
and these same people remain silent….

What Chicago is talking about today: Blagojevich admits White House pressured him to make Rahm Emanuel a Senator
This is all anyone in Chicago is talking about today: former Governor Rod Blagojevich is talking about the pressure the White House put on him to make Valerie Jarrett a placeholder Senator until Rahm Emanuel could run for the Senate in 2010. The plan was to make Rahm Emanuel Majority Leader, since Democrats realize Harry Reid is going down in Nevada and won’t be re-elected.
More later on all this…but that’s what the 8 phone calls between Blagojevich and Emanuel were all about. Dr. Utopia wanted his Senate seat to go to crony Jarrett briefly…then pass permanently to Emanuel.
September 8th should be "National Keep Your Child Home From School Day"
If we had children they would be snarky and fabulous.
They would also be staying home from school on September 8th because there’s no way in Hell we’d allow them to be indoctrinated by Dr. Utopia on his “National Give Me Your Children Day”.
We didn’t think anything could be worse than the whole “Report Your Neighbors Program” the White House pushed, where citizens were encouraged to report their friends, family, and neighbors if any of them were overheard disagreeing with liberal Democrats and their push for socialized medicine.
But, forcing school children to listen to Dr. Utopia…in a speech we know he will use to try to mold these children into political tools…thinking the kids will run home and tell their parents they need to stop resisting socialism and start supporting Dr. Utopia. Or else they are RAAAACISTS! probably.
Because anyone who doesn’t agree with this president is automatically a RAAACIST!, according to the White House and the MSM.
Listen, most parents in this country are not Claire McCaskill. Most parents can think for themselves. Most parents, and United States Senators, don’t do things just because “their kids bugged them and bugged them and bugged them to do it” (hear that, Claire Bear?).
So, it’s insane for Dr. Utopia to think that just because he can broadcast a message to every school child in America on September 8th that he can turn them into mini-Rahm Emanuels who’ll berate their parents with profanity-laced diatribes until they buckle and return to the Hope! Change! Unicorns! zombiehood these people were entranced in all last year. The White House sees its hallucinatory mass hysteria grip on the nation slipping, and appears to think indoctrinating children is the way to get their mojo back.
We hope this blows up in their collective liberal face.
If Republicans were smart, they’d organize a National Keep Your Child Home From School Day on September 8th — for at least the part of the day that Dr. Utopia will be “speaking directly to the children”.
We think it would be more educational for parents to take their children to a museum that morning…or keep them home and read a book with them…or maybe show them a video about George Washington or Teddy Roosevelt or Abraham Lincoln (or, if you’re us, Hillary Clinton).
Dr. Utopia is in constant campaign mode. He wants to get to children now so that in three years those old enough to vote in 2012 will be loyal to him, and those still too young will, like Claire McCaskill’s own spawn, bug and bug and bug their parents to drink more Kool-Aid and give Dr. Utopia his second term.
Republicans, Independents, and moderate Democrats need to push back against this Orwellian nonsense. The MSM will never call him on it, but just imagine if President George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan had done something like this? The MSM would be apoplectic!
But, once again, whatever Dr. Utopia does is unicorn-dusted-rainbow-magic, and those that criticize him are, of course, RAAAACIST!

What’s on your mind this Wednesday?
We talked to our friend Abbey back in Cleveland today, and she’s been following the collapse of all the small banks across the country. What seems to be happening is that the national news is not reporting on any of this — so if you live in Illinois, you aren’t hearing about Ohio banks failing. If you live in California, you don’t know about the Zombie Banks being staked in Florida. All 50 states have banks failing, but the national news seems to be deliberately keeping people around the country from getting a real picture of how bad things are.
What’s the Federal Reserve’s role in all of this? Once again, we come back to the fact that most of us, ourselves included, know very little about the Federal Reserve or how it operates. We ALL need to help build the movement to audit the Fed and drag all of its secrets out of the closet and into the open. Because the situation with failing banks is only going to get worse. Abbey’s a member of an online forum where a lot of economists post — and they say that thousands of banks will be failing between now and the end of 2010. These are the Zombie Banks we’ve heard people in Chicago talking about since last June. This has all been a long time in the making, and no one has been able to stop it. Not even Dr. Utopia’s army of unicorns and legion of rainbows. Even the Care Bears have failed, evidently.
The other thing Abbey says to watch out for is something else we have talked about — collapsing commerical real estate. Here in Chicago, the malls are empty. Stores are closing left and right in Boystown. The big, vertical shopping centers on Michigan Avenue are as quiet as tombs. If stores are going out of business now, and not even bothering to try to eek out one more Christmas season (pushed up earlier and earlier every year), then things must be much, much worse than any of us realize.
We’d love to hear from people out there in the real estate, retail, property management, and banking worlds. Do you remember that video we posted the other day of the man with the MRSA staph infection boil on his back…and how it just kept erupting vile, sickening, revolting funk…over and over again in waves? That’s what our economy feels like right now…with the commercial real estate collapse about to puss over and erupt soon…whether that’s before Christmas or after, we don’t know. Our gut is that so many things are hinging on strong Christmas sales. Years ago, when we worked retail, in a little mom and pop shop, various contractors and vendors deferred payments until after Christmas, into the new year, for tax reasons but also to give the shopkeepers a chance to make big bank before billing them.
We bet that happens all over the place…but what happens if people don’t spend like nuts this Christmas? What happens if the shopkeepers don’t make anywhere near what they need to? How soon until they go under…and drag all those subcontractors and vendors with them?
It feels like there’s going to be a gigantic game of red and green Jenga this Christmas. We are all stacked upon one another, with our fates entwined. If too many of us fail, go out of business, and lose everything, the towering economy above could come crashing down because of our unacknowledged interdependence.
As we told you, Abbey’s prepping for all of this by storing up food and buying everything her family needs to survive should things get really bad out there. She IMPLORES us every day to save money, especially for heat this winter. She told us to tell all of you, every day if we have to, that you need to save money and prepare for the coming winter — which Abbey insists will be “the worst in our lifetime so far”.
Please start saving your money. We don’t want any of you to go cold or hungry this winter. It’s already starting to get chilly in Chicago…which is a bad, bad sign. If it’s this cold in August, we’re scared to see what it will be like in February. Abbey wants us to prep for the worst…and we want you to do the same.

Could Dr. Utopia really be down to the 30s in approval by Christmas?
A friend of ours sent us this article from RedState just now, and we had a good discussion about it. It’s commentary on David Brooks’ column in the NY Times, where Brooks argues Democrats really and truly are committing political suicide, since the White House and Congress believe America is The Huffington Post. Brooks says Democrats will try to ram Deathcare through using every trick in the book, even if only 35% of the country identifies as liberal and supports this. Brooks predicts a massive backlash against the White House and Congress in 2010.
One of the comments on this RedState article says Dr. Utopia will be down to the 30s in approval ratings by Christmas, and that September is going to be a brutal month for liberals.
We feel Dr. Utopia will be in the very low 40s by Halloween, definitely…but the REALLY brutal month for him is going to be the four weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why?
(1) People out spending money will realize how little money they have left to spend…and they will wonder where their hope and change are
(2) During the holiday season, people will gather together. There will be discussions…things will get into politics. Everyone will wonder where their hope and change are. Those who didn’t vote for Dr. Utopia will get to say “Told YA SO!”
(3) Heating bills will start rising soon…and will be BRUTAL in November-December…it’s going to be a bad, bad winter, folks. If you aren’t saving up for the gas bill now, you need to start today. We’re expecting our bill to rise to the $200-300 range for Buzzquarters this winter. We have friends with large homes who pay $800 a month for heating during the holidays. This is going to have an impact on the public’s perception of how things are going in this country. It always does…but this year, it’s going to be colder than we’ve experienced in a while…and people will mock the Democrats’ for all of that talk about global warming. Dr. Utopia’s going to take a big hit on all of this.
We have no idea how low Dr. Utopia’s numbers will go, but also can’t see how he breaks this trend and pumps the public’s opinon back up. It doesn’t seem like he can avert a real disaster by Christmas.

GHOULS. Liberal Democrats admit Ted Kennedy's death "is going to help us"
This is disgusting and shameful, even for Harry Reid, a man who called American citizens “stinky” and waxed poetic about how happy he was the Capitol Visitors Center was finished so he no longer had to “smell the tourists” every summer.
Why the people of Nevada keep re-electing this buffoon is beyond us.
But, today Reid crossed another line — where he freely admitted liberal Democrats will use Ted Kennedy’s death to mount a new effort to pass Deathcare, and that Kennedy dying “is going to help us”.
Wow. Just when we think someone we have zero respect for couldn’t possibly get any worse, Harry Reid actually is within striking distance of beating out Claire McCaskill as the absolute worst person in the US Senate.
APPALLING.
If there is any justice in this world, this kind of nonsense from Reid will blow up in the libs’ faces, BIG TIME.

What’s on your mind this Tuesday?
Check out Redstate for a disturbing report on one of the things Dr. Utopia snuck through in July: requirements for any federal construction project over $25 million to exclusively use union construction workers. This will block 8 out of every 10 workers from having jobs, will increase the costs of construction projects by 10-25%, and will funnel more money into labor unions so they can in turn donate more to Dr. Utopia’s re-election campaign come 2012. And with Ray LaHood as Secretary of Transportation, we shudder to think where, exactly, he’ll funnel those contracts and large federal checks to…considering his track record, and the track record of this state.

Who does Eliot Spitzer think he is — a Kennedy? This disgusting fool is dumber than Mark Sanford, thinking he still has a career in politics ahead of him. Spitzer wants to run for Kirsten Gillibrand’s Senate seat (previously held by Hillary Clinton). We hope voters in New York quite loudly give him a much-needed reality check. The problem we have with Spitzer is not that he had a sex scandal…but that he’s a lawyer, who swore to uphold the law, and was a governor, who swore to uphold the law, but who believed the laws didn’t apply to him because he was special. That’s the same problem we have with the Kennedy family…that laws don’t apply to them. There are too many aristocrats like this in our government…let Spitzer become a lobbyist or find work somewhere else in the private sector. Get off the stage, and take Mark Sanford with you, please.
