You are going to be hearing a lot about Senator Paul Wellstone’s funeral in the coming days.
Wellstone was beloved by Liberals in Minnesota and, from what we consistently hear, was truly a good man, kind to everyone we know who had any dealings with him. He died in a plane crash, and former Vice President and presidential candidate Walter Mondale tried to replace Wellstone in a special election.
Democrats turned Wellstone’s funeral into a highly-politicized campaign rally for Mondale…taking the opportunity to say again and again how a Democrat should replace Wellstone, and how that Democrat should be Mondale. The public was aghast, because the funeral clearly was not for Wellstone, and was not about him, but was about the Democratic party’s threadbare agenda.
Already, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have signaled they intend to do the same thing with Ted Kennedy’s funeral, to use that national attention to push their ramshackle, poorly conceived, socialist healthcare legislation through Congress, against the will of the American people. They are now calling it Kennedycare, instead of Obamacare, in hopes that rebranding this lot of prunes as “plums” will suddenly get people to scarf them down without thinking.
We only hope cooler heads in the Kennedy family prevail and this does not happen — because it would be a national travesty. It also has the potential to alienate a large swath of the country from the Democratic party, which we do not believe Pelosi and Reid realize. There are not a lot of people in this world that we call stupid, because stupid is such an ugly word. But Pelosi and Reid have repeatedly proved they are, indeed, stupid. Reid’s contempt for his constituents and their intelligence is legendary — going so far as to tell reporters how glad he was the Capitol Visitors Center was built so he no longer had to smell the tourists who invaded the capital each summer. Pelosi typically has no idea what she’s talking about, and will direct insult voters, on camera, whenever the opportunity arise — she also makes videos in her office where she pretends various people have turned into cats.
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Botox, if all indications are right, intend on grandstanding at Kennedy’s funeral, using it as a commercial for healthcare reform. We have to admit we were surprised by Minnesotans strong adverse reaction to the Wellstone political rally/funeral. It was a disgusting display, but we didn’t realize just HOW disgusted the voters would be. It’s one of the key reasons there isn’t a Senator Mondale in Washington right now. The backlash against Democrats’ behavior that day was strong.
And Wellstone was little-known by most Americans…and yet that incident is being talked about now…while we are awaiting plans for what will be a funeral watched by many Americans, since just about everyone knew who Ted Kennedy was (regardless of what they thought of the corpulent, old, murdering spider…may Mary Jo Kopechne at last confront her killer).
Pelosi and Reid see Kennedy’s death as a magical gift to save their poorly managed and unwanted healthcare reform agenda. But, as always, these fools should be careful for what they wish for…because there is serious potential for all of this to blow up in their faces in ways they can’t seem to imagine.

Have pity on Pelosi. She can’t help her snaky ways. She could have set the bar very high on the fight for a national healthcare plan. Instead, she spews out her venom on everything. She is just that hate-filled. I don’t know what happened to her but she never chooses to do what is right only what is right now.

Ted’s antic’s are not a thing of ancient history. Waaaaaaaaaaaay to many people remember chapaquidic, the waitress sandwich and his drunken degenerate behavior. Oh, they can try and gloss over it al lthey want but many many do remember. As if gushing about Micheal Jackson changed the fact of what he was and the disgusting things he had done in his life.
As far as pushing the bill goes-everyone also knows it’s the same horrible Deathcare bill no matter what they name it. It is fitting to rename it after Teddy. It’s a bloated bill filled with lies and deceptions and outright lies whose sole purpose is to increase the power of those in office and line the pockets of their cronies. It is not lost on a soul that they have thrown everything but the kitchen sink to get support for this. Naming it after Kennnedy certainly won’t work any more than the nazi/unamerican/evil doer/bigfoot/UFO/fearmongering/end of the world nonsense they have been spouting all along.

It will be a vast improvement if they can simply restrain themselves from yuking it up during the service like they did at Wellstone’s funeral. What a show of appalling lack of manners and respect – respect not only for their deceased comrade, but the man’s grieving family. I’ve seen sixth graders at funerals show more decorum than that bunch of elitist rubes showed that day; they’d be ashamed if any of them possessed a conscience, which to a person they do not. For the benefit of us all, their disgusting behavior was immortalized on video (Google it), so it’s easy to remind yourself just which members of our ruling class have the manners of goats. My sincere apology to goats.

I for one hope that most every American keeps the television turned off the channels carrying this funeral. Enough already.

Ted Kennedy was “Catholic”. His funeral Mass should have no euology. But it will. Completely inapprorpriate. I hope that they don’t ruin his funeral Mass. They should know that ruining Wellstone’s funeral hurt them. It helped Coleman win.

Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber, and the two are fighting over which is which. Two very evil, disgusting people who shouldn’t even be elected dog catcher, much less to Congress.

The perversion and desicration of a religious ceremony, the Catholic High Mass, by a number of murderers and criminals is simply the latest in a long line of offenses that the Kennedy family has carried out. If there is a “Kennedy Curse,” it seems to be totally justifiable.
