Great Merciful Zeus, you need to read this…it contains a line we so wish we’d thought of…that Sarah Palin’s throwing around Facebook pages like ninja throwing stars.
And, unlike us, she’s not being snarky or taking cheap shots at Oprah or HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy while doing it (not that we’ll ever stop)…but Palin’s being devastatingly sharp, to the point, and critical while still retaining her personal charm.
Got. to. love. it.
Here in Boystown, the Loony Left continues to berate Palin…but, like the article above says, if she’s so stupid and so irrelevant and such a joke…then how on Earth is she having such a profound impact on Obamacare by just posting her thoughts on Facebook?
Riddle us that.

Dr. Zero’s post at Hot Air is a must read ! A joy to behold, especially how he gently smacks down Krauthammer’s article ….time for Sarah to leave the room….he’s genius!

And to think, she wrote about “death panels” two weeks ago, and this is still THE topic of conversation in Washington.
I wish they’d move on, as she has, to tort reform. She’s way ahead of them on this debate; fast and furious and getting results.

Anyone here on Sarah’s Facebook page and can post this poll there? She needs help with this online poll http://www.examiner.com/x-20271-Fresno-Political-Buzz-Examiner~y2009m8d18-Palin-vs-Obama–What-new-polling-suggests-if-they-were-to-face-each-other-in-2012.
You can vote as much as you like an she started with a healthy lead (60% to Romney’s 34%) but the Romneybots are smamming it now.

I suggest any of you who love Sarah and want to support her, become her friend on Facebook.. She is at 820K + friends and I think it would be awesome if we could push her to the 1 million mark. It’s a great place to go if you need to not feel alone in your admiration of this fine woman and her family. It’s easy to sign up on Facebook and you can set the security settings so you are never found, unless you want to be ;-)
I’ll post the poll for you.

“…like Ninja stars.” I love that headline. Kapow! Go Sarah.
August 23, 2009 at 4:16 pm
I think she’s fabulous. As is quite common with women under our cultural norms, Palin is able to be two things simultaneously, be both too stupid to walk and chew bubblegum while also being so all powerful and all knowing that we have to crush her before she conquers the world.
August 23, 2009 at 4:19 pm
Have you seen this? She’s not going away, Dr. K … and the rest of you overbearing, elitist jackasses who refuse to get it … she’s the real deal. Ignore her at, I hope, your peril.

You know, it’s strange. I usually LOVE Krauthammer. He’s sharp, well-spoken, and squashes leftie whackos under his metaphorical heel. His columns on the unproven state of embryonic stem cell research were absolutely brilliant.
But ….
WTH does he have against Palin? I don’t get it!
August 23, 2009 at 9:06 pm
Ten, me too. But the two times he has mentioned Sarah lately, I swear I could practically feel his hand shake as he wrote her name. She sure elicits some peculiar reactions in some folks. Dare I call it fear? I hope she and her family have taken strong security precautions … lots of bad people out there.
August 23, 2009 at 10:36 pm
When you live in an ivory tower as long as Mr. Krauthammer, you tend to be completely flummoxed by someone like Sarah Palin. This is the same phenomenon that happened when Reagan came onto the scene. I’m not saying Sarah is President Reagan, but I am saying that when you have the gift of being able to directly speak to the American people and get them to listen to you, instead of the elite beltway, you can be a major force to be reckoned with.
There has been a huge vacuum of leadership in the Republican Party since Bush’s second term and these elites have been jockeying around for a position of power and influence. They are highly respected, but usually become an afterthought when someone of Sarah’s charisma comes on the scene. I don’t think their egos can take it, so they try to diminish it by being snooty and inclusive. Like I said to my friend, if you are going to tell Governor Palin to get out of a room, you better be able to say it to her face. Mr. Krauthammer doesn’t strike me as someone who could actually do that.

“She’s way ahead of them on this debate; fast and furious and getting results.”
I believe that’s the definition of a LEADER!!! Way to go Sarah!!!
August 23, 2009 at 10:44 pm
HB….I believe Sarah Palin now has 5000 more “friends” on Facebook than your fellow Chicagoan….Oprah. She has been adding about 250 per hour in the last 5 days. That is pretty amazing if you ask me, but I think I might be a bit biased.
The demographics are all over the place on the site, too. You have seniors, young people, middle-aged (my group), and all genders. You have a lot of people who state they have never done anything like this (posted a comment) before, but they just felt like they had too, because she represents what they think America is and should be. I can’t help but think that SarahPAC is benefitting from this many people speaking about her in one place. I guess we will find out.
August 23, 2009 at 10:51 pm
I agree that the essays posted on Sarah Palin’s Facebook page recently have been exceptionally well written. But..where is she? She hasn’t been seen for many days.
August 23, 2009 at 11:11 pm
I think it’s pretty cool that she is only “virtually” available. It makes her words the focus and concentrates the attention on the argument at hand. And in the meantime I hope she is having fun in between facebook posts.
August 24, 2009 at 2:17 pm
People are going to her, seeking her out … as opposed to her going to them via TV and radio. Brilliant strategy. Then there’s Obama, who’s mug is on TV 24/7. Talk about overkill … and it’s working against him.
August 23, 2009 at 11:14 pm
I think she is writing her book and playing the role of the “Swamp Fox” aka Francis Marion. Someone called her the Denali Fox on C4P. If you all don’t know, Francis Marion was a great hero of the Revolutionary War who would come out of the swamp and strike at the British and then go right back….
“Marion’s brigade possessed two distinct advantages over the British soldiers. First, the men could easily navigate the dense terrain. Second, their combat style was completely foreign to the opposition. When fighting against the Cherokee Indians during the Seven Years’ War, Marion observed the tribal warriors’ unique style of warfare. Rather than open-air conflict, the Cherokee hid in the foliage, allowing them to launch sneak attacks.” Francis Marion also had the nickname “Washington of the South.”

and we can add this to the conversation. I stumbled across this by mistake:
If Sarah Palin were a guy, I imagine this week she’d be standing over the prostrate body politic that comprises the Left (and by extension, the Democratic Party) these days with a big smile on her face, arms upraised and shouting a constant refrain of “WHO’S YOUR DADDY?!?!” Talk about owning the mat.
Another way to look at it is like this: If she were a Reconnaissance Marine (I have a soft spot for those guys, having started my long Navy career as an enlisted Hospital Corpsman in a Recon company), she’d be the salty company Gunny, spitting out a little squirt of dip and telling his young Marines that THIS is how you shoot, move and communicate, dammit!
One thing’s for sure: Palin has certainly done a LOT of shooting (at fat Democratic targets of opportunity), moving (lithely, out of the way of return fire) and communicating. Be honest; has ANYBODY taken Facebook and Twitter entries and ran with them better than she has?
Now, like all good combat-hardened trained killers or UFC fighters (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Royce Gracie – possibly foreshadowing Palin’s political Jiu-Jitsu abilities — won the first 4 Ultimate Fighting Championship tournaments with a string of 12 straight submission victories, all of them over larger opponents) Palin has learned how to take what might at first glance seem like a disadvantage (her relative political inexperience, at least on the national stage) and has “outcycled” a much better-armed or larger fighting force time and time again.
When I say “outcycle” I’m referring to the famous Colonel John Boyd (d. 1997) who, as a fighter pilot instructor that hadn’t fought a single second in actual combat, came to be called “Forty Second Boyd” for his ability to use air combat maneuvering to defeat any opponent (and he always did, with many of them being highly-experienced wartime fighter jocks) within those 40 seconds.
Boyd and his compatriots — a frankly crazy bunch of aviators (but what bunch of fighter pilots aren’t?) — developed what we in the military called the “OODA Loop.” Short for “Observe, Orient, Decide, Act” one can see how Palin, since she’s stepped down from office, has taken the measure of the landscape, oriented herself to objective conditions, decided on a line of attack — and ObamaCare and other liberal pet projects are like fat, unguarded enemy rear areas – and then turned the enemy’s basic weaknesses against himself.
Don’t believe me? Well, it’s pretty much accepted by all sides that Palin’s Facebook and Twitter entries on the (in)famous so-called “death panels” within H.R. 3200 and in the earlier economic stimulus package (the Federal Coordinating Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research) scared more than a few legislators enough that the end-of-life provisions within that House bill were declared DOA by members of the Senate Finance Committee, which is struggling to come up with a bill similar in concept to that of 3200.
He’s worried about getting in the ring with her
Recently, Palin’s been at it again, finding the weak spot in the enemy’s perimeter defense (or exploiting a rival’s bullish physique and strength to her advantage) sliding through that gap and then guiding her fire team into position to rain down an ungodly hailstorm of fire on their heads. This time, she chose to go on the attack over Barack Obama’s multi-billion dollar financing deal for Brazilian oil exploration company Petrobras.
Palin has managed to point out the seeming insanity in the White House’s decision to fund the search for and drilling of oil by another nation which doesn’t look to benefit us all that much. And even if it does manage to do so (in some Obama-like convoluted fashion that only Harvard Ph.Ds can fathom) way down the road, the “Killah from Wasilla” focused attention on the fact that we’re practically doing no exploration of our own in vast tracts of the country that hold the promise of an ocean of oil.
Seems like little Ms. Ex-Governor has once again showed up a White House and a Democratic Party that appears to want to force us all into little proletariat-mobiles that nobody wants to buy or drive, for no good reason, considering how truly energy-independent we really can be within a vastly shorter amount of time than Barack Obama’s and Nancy Pelosi’s and Harry Reid’s “green” jobs and industries will ever be able to pull off.
Combine that with her pulling the mask off the grinning, capering vampire that IS ObamaCare, and you’ve got a woman who’s fully in command and out to show the folks who live in ivy-covered towers and buy their foods only from certified organic grocers (and can’t bear the thought of popping down to the Wal-Mart for little Jimmy’s back to school clothes) just who has the upper hand lately.
So, I (and Sarah Palin) say again: “WHO’S YOUR DADDY?!?!

Excuse me guys but has anyone told Katie Courick that Sarah has been answering her questions. You know the one about which news papers she read. I think a quick glance at MS Palins Sources will let her know what dear Sarah reads to get her information. *snark* But I think is more important than what Ms Sarah reads but what she does with it when she reads it.
Ps. If that wench still wants to know why Palin didn’t answer her, it’s because Sarah was contemplating slapping the urine out of her for asking such a condensending question.
