Government Motors (GM) files for bankruptcy protection this morning — the ramifications of which are immense.
For those financial types out there, what happens to all those billions Dr. Utopia forced through Congress for GM now that it’s officially bankrupt?
Why didn’t GM just file for bankruptcy to begin with, instead of taking that infusion of taxpayer money first?
It seems to us that the money the government put into GM is just going up in smoke…and that with the government deciding how GM should be run and what products it should make, GM will never be profitable or viable again.
Ultimately, what do you think will happen to GM, Chrysler, and Ford?
