h/t to Conservatives4Palin for the latest on the Anti-Letterman Protest in NYC tomorrow.
WHEN: 430-630pm
WHERE: New York City, Ed Sullivan Theater, 1697 Broadway
PURPOSE: To protest Letterman’s joke about statutory-raping Willow Palin and his sexism and misogyny in general
*Note: They need as many people there as possible taking video of the protest and getting it onto the web as quickly as possible. The MSM will cover for political activist Letterman, of course, and will refuse to show any of this — or will try to diminish what they do show. So getting as much of the truth out there on the Internet is important.
Spread the word to anyone you know who is within 4 hours of New York City.
Sarah Palin is a supporter of the Tea Party movement, so if you were part of the Tea Parties please use your networks to bring people out tomorrow to protest David Letterman’s perversions and misogyny at the Ed Sullivan Theater.

Is there any chance that Hillary will step up to the plate? She of all women, know what this is like. I would LOVE to see her speak up about this. I think if she did, it would be an awesome statement. She would be speaking for WOMEN, not a political party!
June 15, 2009 at 3:56 pm
I think Michelle Obama as First Lady and mother of 2 young girls should step up to the plate and condemn the statements of David Letterman. That would carry a lot of weight with “the media elite” if she spoke out; but if she’s anything like her husband, she will remain cowardly and silent on the issue.
June 15, 2009 at 4:08 pm
I agree, but I don’t think Michele would do it and I would love to see Hillary beat her to the punch! Let Hillary make a statement and everyone will ask …. why didn’t the First Lady speak out? Hillary could drive the message home a lot better than Michele. But, I do agree, someone needs to come out on this. This is not about the political party …. it’s about WOMEN!!
Enough is Enough!
June 15, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Michelle would never say anything unless the comment was directed specifically at her or her daughters. Hell will have to freeze over before she would defend ANY comment directed at the Palins, sexist or otherwise.
I haven’t been on here much in the past few weeks but just wanted to say to you Hillbuzz boys, keep up the great work! It’s so nice to know there are people on the left who believe in taking a stand against misogyny.
P.S. You guys should have a show. That would be FAAAAAABULOUS!

LESSERMAN: “i THOUGHT IT WAS THE 18 YEARS OLD. YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE A WOMAN 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER YOU CAN BE RAPED AND ABUSED BY A MAN.
June 15, 2009 at 8:22 pm
Hillary will not speak out.
Possibly she sympathizes in private.
But No Democrat—Hillary included—will come to Sarah Palin’s defense. Because the insult perpetrator Letterman is a fellow liberal.
It’s ALWAYS party over principle with Democrats.
June 15, 2009 at 9:51 pm
Perhaps that’s true of elected officials, but there are many, many Democrats, like the wonderful Hillbuzz guys, that are choosing principle over party.
June 15, 2009 at 11:18 pm
Yes, yogi41. I should clarify—I was referring to elected politicians.
June 15, 2009 at 4:11 pm
Good thing this was rescheduled for tomorrow–there is a thunderstorm in the city right now.

Uuuuhhhhhhh, seen this? More DISGUSTING COMMENTS from Maher about Willow! BTW-I would cancel HBO, but I already did over Maher’s comments about our soldiers “raping themselves”. We need to put the pressure on HBO, now!

HOLY COW… I had no idea. I have HBO, guess it’s time to cancel… These people are all freaks.

“It’s war on white women, only this one is being fought with water balloons and whoopee cushions wielded by men who think statutory rape and racial slurs are funny.”

Should wander down the street to the M&M store in Times Square tomorrow and let them know what you think of them sponsoring that idiot’s show.
June 15, 2009 at 10:37 pm
Right! M&M’s @ times square isn’t too far from Ed Sull theatre! WOW, did anyone do a protest permit there? Maybe if they don’t pull the ads. The stores’ got lots of tourists and kids. Keep the signs G-rated and ask about them to stop sexism at Letterman show. “M&M’s suports those who attack innocent 14 year olds.” Whoa, the PR people are gonna FREAK!

That Embassy Suites comment – that they were pulling their ads – was posted here (in another thread) late last week. I think the slack has been taken up by Best Western.

she is a wee bit busy with world events if you haven’t noticed….she can’t be everywhere at once. There is no good reason to be bashing HRC for this..

He’s apologized, here at link:
“Well, my responsibility – I take full blame for that. I told a bad joke. I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception. And since it was a joke I told, I feel that I need to do the right thing here and apologize for having told that joke. It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault. That it was misunderstood.” (audience applauds) “Thank you. So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the Governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I’m sorry about it and I’ll try to do better in the future. Thank you very much. ”

June 15, 2009 at 6:25 pm
Guys, please do not let up on this. I know it takes a lot of effort, but please keep calling and writing, at least a little bit each days.
Off topic, but maybe not really, I’m sure you’ve been watching the atrocities committed by the basij (baseej) in Iran. The basij appear to be Iran’s civilian national security force:
http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/06/video-iranian-basiji-guards-fire-on.html
http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/06/14/iran.eyewitness/
“TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) — He was surrounded and pleading for them to stop but six men with clubs, batons and metal rods kept battering a young Iranian man with ruthless force. The swing that keeps replaying in my head was the black baton that smashed the man in the skull behind his left ear.
Seconds earlier the man had dared to stand up to the baton wielding men because they had shoved a 14-year-old girl. For his chivalry he got one of the most savage beatings I have ever seen at the hands of four Iranian riot policemen and members of the Baseej, Iran’s plain clothed volunteer militia. . . .”
Let me see if I understand this correctly. The One Who Must Be Obeyed, many of whose followers are intolerant, and appear to need to suppress dissenting views, would like to have, in his own words:
“We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the US military.
Is anybody other than me more than a little concerned about having a trained, mobilized, federalized national security force in each city, town, village, and even block, watching over you and me? Does anyone grasp the magnitude of the risks this poses to our civil liberties, even if it weren’t planned to be in the hands of folks who had already proven intolerant and suppressive of dissent?
June 15, 2009 at 6:39 pm
I’m pretty sure the civilian national security force (aka ACORN, perhaps?) has been discussed here – and elsewhere. Many are indeed keeping a close eye on that.

Letterman Apologizes — Again — to Governor Palin and Her Family
By Bill Carter
David Letterman directly apologized to Gov. Sarah Palin and her daughters on his program Monday night, saying he took responsibility for a joke that had offended Ms. Palin, her family, and her supporters.
Mr. Letterman opened the desk portion of his show with the apology in which he said he wanted to say he was sorry to “to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke.” Two weeks ago on his “Late Show” program on CBS, he had joked about Governor Palin attending a Yankee game with her daughter.
The joke, in which Mr. Letterman seemingly confused Willow, who is 14 and attended a Yankee game with Gov. Palin that week, with Bristol, who is 18 and an unwed mother, had to do with the Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez impregnating Ms. Palin’s daughter.
Last week Mr. Letterman somewhat defiantly said that there was a misperception going on and he would never make a sexually charged joke about a 14-year old. But he never expressly explained that he had inadvertently confused the two Palin daughters.
Monday he acknowledged that as the host of the program it was his responsibility to get the joke right. “I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception.”
He also insisted he was confused about the daughters. “I was told at the time she was there with Rudy Guiliani,” Mr. Letterman said. “I should have made the joke about Rudy.”
The issue has been seized upon by supporters of Ms. Palin who have called for everything from a boycott of Mr. Letterman’s advertisers to his outright firing. They have planned a rally for the Tuesday at Mr. Letterman’s theater on Broadway in Manhattan.
Some media commentators said that Mr. Letterman was keeping the controversy alive for the sake of ratings, but he seemed to make a special effort Monday to get the apology right. He even taped it a second time after he mistakenly referred to Bristol Palin once as “Brooke” in the first effort.
CBS executives said Monday that they had exercised no pressure on the late-night star to offer any apology and that they had seen no real impact on advertisers from the protests.
One advertiser, Embassy Suites Hotels, sent word to Ms. Palin’s supporters that they had ceased advertising on CBS’s website and did not want to be associated in any way with Mr. Letterman’s comments.
June 15, 2009 at 6:32 pm
I believe in forgiveness (it’s biblical, of course), but at least from the transcript, it still seems like a disingenuous attempt to avoid responsibility for his own actions.
Further, even more concerningly, the resolute defiance of the CBS executives, who, by implication, feel Mr. Letterman did nothing wrong, and there has been, and will be, no adverse consequences from his actions:
“CBS executives said Monday that they had exercised no pressure on the late-night star to offer any apology and that they had seen no real impact on advertisers from the protests.”
June 15, 2009 at 6:35 pm
Well, let’s watch and see if he seems sincere.
June 15, 2009 at 6:40 pm
I’m going to be curious to see who the advertisers are (or aren’t).
June 15, 2009 at 6:51 pm
no way, no day…NOT LETTING THIS GO…I WANT HIS ASS FIRED
June 15, 2009 at 7:39 pm
like they’d admit the boycott made an impact. These people will go out of business saying that. The fact that they went out of their way to say this cements it that it IS making an impact.
Cuz, ya know, it’s not doing a thing to our bottom line, so i’m telling you so you can stop doing it. Kind of the same type of thing we use to get our 5 year olds to eat their vegatables.
June 15, 2009 at 9:47 pm
LOL, Tidy
Yeah, just like Macy’s here in Chicago pretends that the boycott of them by all the people outraged that they killed Marshall Fields isn’t working. Most days the store is so empty you could shoot a cannon through there!
June 15, 2009 at 7:47 pm
I don’t think this is an issue of forgiveness. We need to do what we can to change the climate where it is considered acceptable to make such jokes about young girls on the public airwaves.
June 15, 2009 at 6:37 pm
(He also insisted he was confused about the daughters. “I was told at the time she was there with Rudy Guiliani,” Mr. Letterman said. “I should have made the joke about Rudy.”)
What??? Does that make sense to anybody? Rudy and Rodriguez? Rudy and Sarah? Rudy and Sarah’s daughter? I’m sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense to me.
June 15, 2009 at 6:47 pm
Oh, I get it now. Forgive me, Mr. Letterman. My mistake.
You were talking about Mr. Rodriguez raping Governor Palin’s 18 year old, or at least being so promiscuous that she would consent to having sex with a 33 year old man in a dugout during the 7th inning of the game. Oh, and she was so provocative that she would attract the attention and solicitation of a 50 year old man known to solicit prostitutes. Wow, you are a funny man, Mr. Letterman. My hat’s off to you. What a sincere apology, as well. It was all those dimwitted people who were “outraged” because they were so dumb, they didn’t realize you were talking about Bristol.
Don’t know about you guys, but calls and letters will go out from my house tomorrow.
June 15, 2009 at 8:02 pm
Good for you PCS.
This ain’t over folks.
Write, write write.
And step it up.
Emails DO NOT WORK.
Sorry, but companies get inundated with them and just erase them.
Letters.
ON PAPER.
And tell them how much the jokes affected YOU PERSONALLY.
More letters from me tomorrow. And I’ve got some really good stories about my 14 year old niece who just received her black belt in karate two days ago.
Woo Hoo! Go Abby!
I know what she’d like to kick.
And it’s name starts with an “L”.
But she kicks in the lower case, if you get my drift.
Rock On!
June 15, 2009 at 7:29 pm
it doesn’t matter which daughter was there. It was repulsive and reprehensible to the female gender, no matter what their age is
Screw letterman, he’s going down
June 16, 2009 at 2:36 am
I think this new development this should only refresh and double or triple our efforts.
June 15, 2009 at 10:16 pm
I could say I “forgive” when people hurt me or hurts someone I care about with an outrage such as this – but it would take a lot of time and not just a small amount of prayer/meditation…but I could NEVER FORGET. That person who committed the outrage would always be under suspicion and not trusted. In that situation, I would find myself walking away not wanting this person to be a cancer on my spirit.
I always liked Reagan’s line “trust but verify”. But when angered about something like this after so many years of his women bashing, especially women in politics, and his angry diatribe about them, I would not be able to watch his show again. He’s “repenting” now under extreme pressure, despite the CEO’s claiming they didn’t put pressure on him…[yeah, right]. Bottom line: he’s just a potty mouthed pig and as my grands say “I’m out”. I’m writing Moonves tomorrow to let him know Letterman is just not worth my time. And he’s certainly not worth the money he pays him. CBS can just count me in the “lost viewer” column.
June 15, 2009 at 6:30 pm
Okay, but he’s still a PIG!
June 15, 2009 at 6:37 pm
Oh and please write and call Embassy Suites to thank them for pulling their ads. We should reward companies that do the right thing.
June 15, 2009 at 6:41 pm
Excellent idea.
June 15, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Ditto to that!

As read on by another poster on another blog…We have a new sheriff in town and her name is Sarah Palin!!!
Love it!
June 15, 2009 at 6:46 pm
Regarding the apology: The Palin family will accept it, of course, graciously.
However, I do hope the protests and boycotts continue, as this is much bigger than Palin vs Letterman; it’s about the way women are treated in and by the media, and this apology is not going to change that. Our action of letting sponsors know that we hold the power of the purse strings will be a first step in alerting the media that we are not going to allow them to continue degrading women and young girls.
This is just the first of many, many steps…. let’s remember that and keep the pressure on.
June 15, 2009 at 6:48 pm
oh YEAH!! the douchebag apologizes AFTER one of his sponsors bails on him…it was insincere and forced…not good enough…FIRE HIM
June 15, 2009 at 8:35 pm
I agree. NO MERCY!! BRING THE HAMMER DOWN!!
June 15, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Yes, we can’t stip now, or we’re just ineffective wimps at this concept of protest. Nope, this is one of our premier stands (b/c we know there are many more to come), and we can’t appear weak. WE MUST BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, AND THAT MEANS A SUCCESSFUL RESULT MEASURED BY A FIRING OR MASSIVE BLEEDING FROM LOST CORPORATE ADVERTISING DOLLARS.
We must indeed bring hammer down to let it be a warning to future douchebags and idiot liberal haters.
June 15, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Definitely agree with you. The more we do now, the better it will be for us when we fight battles for Sarah as she campaigns…for whatever position she chooses. The more we can put a dent on this behavior and unfair treatment now, the better. We need to keep comedians and liberals cautious about their actions. We need to send a message to CBS and advertisers that we are serious, and that means continued boycotting until something gives. Letterman may not be fired, but THERE HAS GOT to be a consequence, and if it is lost advertising and $$$, then so be it. Keep pressure on the big 3 companies!
More ideas of the photoshopped ocmpany logos:
On facebook, there’s a BUMPER STICKER or poster applciation. Start converting the mock logos into those and distribute it on FB. Also create FLAIR buttons with these mock logos that question if they support violence against 14 y.o.’s.
WE NEED TO CONTINUE, PEOPLE!
June 15, 2009 at 6:51 pm
Maybe this should end it once and for all…..

Nope, not good enough for me. That apoligy sounded just as phony as his last one. Dave is REALLY feeling the heat. keep it up until he gets fired
June 15, 2009 at 9:17 pm
Oh my GOD.
I just read it.
He says it’s “my fault because I was misunderstood”.
HUH?
I get that line, Dave, ‘cuz I work in your business asshole. Basically, you’re telling the viewers and listeners that they were too STUPID to get your joke.
No, Dave, it’s YOUR FAULT FOR WRITING AND DELIVERING A MISOGYNISTIC JOKE ABOUT RAPE!
It’s STILL a half apology.
What a narcissist
Get off the air, you old perverted man.
Oh, and keep those letter coming, folks! This is NOT over.

Anyone who eats food MUST check out this website!
http://www.responsibletechnology.org/GMFree/Home/index.cfm
Your life depends on you being aware of what you eat. We need political activism now to stop poisoning our food supply. Obama is choosing former Monsanto chief, Jeffrey Smith to oversee food safety. This is like having Al queda doing guard duty at a nuclear plant.
June 15, 2009 at 8:06 pm
That’s hilarious.
My husband spied on Montanto about 9 years ago.
They are NOT nice people.

June 15, 2009 at 7:23 pm
I dunno, it kinda sounded sincere. (except the really confusing part about Rudy. I mean, WTF was that?)But! He’s still a PIG!
June 15, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Letterman has been picking on Rudy for many many years.
It was his attempt to throw in some humor.
Ha Ha.
Are you laughing now, Dave?
June 15, 2009 at 10:55 pm
The whole intent and misunderstood part blames the viewers, us, who did NOT misunderstand his true intent to destroy the palins.
Anyway, NO, don’t give in to the easy but insincere surrender. We MUST SHOW WE ARE A SERIOUS GROUP TO BE CONTENDED WITH. We can’t be appeased by something simple like this. We have to show our STRENGTH AND EFFECTIVENESS so that our future battles will be easier, because less enemies will face us than if we were to do nothing at making a dent into this PDS.
June 15, 2009 at 11:40 pm
Yes, yes, and YES.

Does anyone have the email addy for Mars? I can’t seem to find it amid all the posts.I want to send e-mails in addition to regular letters

Letterman Apologizes to Palin Family: http://tinyurl.com/nqhygv
Read full text. It will be stated on tonight’s show.
June 15, 2009 at 11:17 pm
If Letterman is sincere he will get some talented writers and abandon the non-funny cheap shots aimed at conservatives.
To be fair, he should hire someone like Zo to write some jokes aimed at BO and Michelle.
I won’t hold my breath though.
June 15, 2009 at 7:52 pm
June 8: The first joke about “a daughter” was the A-Rod Joke. This caused widespread outrage.
June 9: knowing by now that it was Willow, Letterman still went ahead with the Spitzer joke about “a daughter”.
Dave is lying. He knew it was Willow.
June 15, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Of course he knew.
He has a TEAM of writers who scour the paper every day.
I had a friend who wrote for Letterman years ago when he was funny.
THEY DON’T MISS THIS SHIT.
Yeah, so the June 9 joke indicates that Willow is a PROSTITUTE????
God, I hate this guy.
June 15, 2009 at 8:57 pm
Can you believe than now Letterman says he did NOT know that any daughter was at the game? He now says he thought it was just Rudy and Sarah.
This is a bigger lie than the original lie.
June 15, 2009 at 9:09 pm
Is that what he said in the apology?
I haven’t read it yet.
Look, I think he was making a joke that since Rudy was at the game, he should have made a joke about RUDY(someone he’s ridiculed for years).
June 15, 2009 at 9:22 pm
He DID lie, Roscoe.
That was the most insincere NON apology I’ve ever read.
Hey, Letterman! Perv!
You’re hilarious.
To other PERVS!

Letterman is scum. I hope he’s fired for good and we never have to look at him again. He’s a tired, angry, extremely pathetic old man.

As I recall, Imus apologized on his show several times a day for a week and he still got fired. By CBS.
Goose sauce=Gander sauce.
June 15, 2009 at 9:28 pm
did you see on Hannity tonight that Al “RAAACIST” Sharpton states that the Letterman issue is not the same as Imus issue because Imus insulted a WHOLE GROUP and Dave is only insulting a single person – Palin and her daughter. So……………..WTF?
June 15, 2009 at 9:33 pm
Look at this CRAP on Daily News.com: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/election2008/shopwithpalin/index.html
June 15, 2009 at 9:39 pm
Snarky, but kinda funny. I’d like to see a ME-chelle Maobama one! That would be even funnier, as she has no taste whatsoever!
June 15, 2009 at 9:40 pm
I am stunned!
June 15, 2009 at 11:46 pm
Heh, gee, I *wonder* why some people see Palin (a married woman, a mother) as “slutty” when all around the internet these fools have her half naked. This one downsizes her status as Governor to simple beauty contestant who likes to shop at SAKS…oh, maybe that is also where the “ditzy” insults come from as well. It’s because that is how she is portrayed in the media. And a lot of people believed the media’s version of Palin. And that is partially why she lost.
June 15, 2009 at 9:54 pm
That was funny!
I even dressed her, and you know damn well that JackDaddy did too!
June 15, 2009 at 9:58 pm
Busted! But I was disappointed that the red one-piece wouldn’t come off. :-(
June 15, 2009 at 11:57 pm
Too bad Palin continues to be projected as the bimbo archetype in the media: stupid and slutty. The media knows people won’t vote for someone unless they respect the person. And they’ll do everything they can to make sure people don’t respect her.
June 16, 2009 at 7:29 am
Kat, I know, I know.
I’m sorry.
I wish it was a picture of Letterman with various pig heads to put on him. And pig tails. And hams, etc.
Now THAT would be funny.
June 15, 2009 at 10:55 pm
i LOVE her camo pants!!!
June 15, 2009 at 11:41 pm
The point here is that she is half naked and people can dress her like an object, plus the shopping expense dig toward her. I didn’t see any half naked male politician interactive games in the political section of the Daily News. It’s very interesting how people see things.

hmmmm….
June 15, 2009 at 9:34 pm
I don’t live in NY otherwise I would go. Hope the turn out is huge and hope he gets fired!
June 15, 2009 at 9:41 pm
Well – since I live in Texas – I will only be there in spirit. For those of you going – Let us know how it goes

Opps, sorry double post.
June 15, 2009 at 9:54 pm
Two of the women organizing tomorrow’s rally were on Greta tonight. They say they expect about 200.
Come on, New Yorkers, you can do better than that. You’re speaking for all of us who are too far away to attend.
June 15, 2009 at 10:03 pm
No kidding.
That’s it?
Maybe women will surprise us.
And they SHOULD turn out.
He offended all of us!
June 16, 2009 at 6:17 am
And take pictures, video, whatever is possible. It is the only way to assure coverage.
June 15, 2009 at 11:33 pm
Considering that it is liberal New York, I am surprised that it is even 200. Everyone around the country is upset about what the sleaze bag said, but cannot make it to New York, believe me, if I could, I would be on the plane right now over there to voice my hate for David Letterman. The amount of people at the protest doesn’t matter, it’s the fact that we will continue to hit his sponsors HARD, CBS losing money will speak louder then words

Embassy Suites deserves a note of appreciation from all of us!
I wrote one to them this afternoon. I also told them (and it’s true) that I and my family will purposely patronize Embassy and the Hilton chain because of their actions. In this horrible economy, I think they need to hear that.
It’s working…I’m so happy!!!!
June 16, 2009 at 2:45 am
“Embassy Suites deserves a note of appreciation from all of us!”
Agreed.
June 15, 2009 at 11:26 pm
I like the Letterman picture quote, and the one below. But, personally, I think I’d change the 2nd one slightly.
Misogyny “offends” some men, too, but only women and girls are mentioned. So I’d say “This *demeans* women and girls”, rather than offends. But they make their point well.

Dear Ms….:
Thank you for expressing your concerns about Olive Garden and allowing us an
opportunity to respond.
We understand your concern about Mr. Letterman’s inappropriate comments. Olive
Garden screens network television programs whenever possible. Some shows, like
The David Letterman Show, are taped on a daily basis and there is not an
opportunity to review the content prior to airing. The content of the dialogue
on the June 8th show is not consistent with Olive Garden’s standards and values.
We have joined many of our valued guests in voicing our concern to CBS, and we
will adjust our plans accordingly as we have done in the past when such
situations occur.
Going forward, guest feedback, such as yours, will certainly be taken into
consideration as we review our future advertising schedule.
Again, thank you for contacting us with your comments, and we hope you will
continue to think of Olive Garden as a place to visit with your family and
friends.

Did you notice the sexist banner ad to the right of this link? “Shopping with Palin-Click here to give Palin your own 150,000 makeover”
June 16, 2009 at 8:56 am
Yeah, there is also a Palin Look-A-Like images thingy to click through. Guess who is the first one shown on the page? That porn-star who dressed up and made a porn based on the Governor.

Though I am hopelessly conservative, I appreciate your integrity in defense of your positions. I enjoy, appreciate and follow both Hillbuzz and Camille Paglia. Interestingly enough, both were referred to positively in the past by Rush.
In the past I am sure your supporters and I have been on opposite sides of protests. Wish I could be in NY, it would be a joy being in the crowd with your people. You are right. Integrity and consistency are true measures of the individual behind the idea.
It was inspiring to view pictures of Iranian women standing up for their nation. However, my admiration of Hillbuzz stems not from your support of women, but from the fact that you hold people accountable for their public statements.
June 16, 2009 at 11:30 am
Congrats to Hillbuzz for keeping the faith. Hillary Clinton was abused daily and her human rights were bashed, as were her chances of the nomination, by the media misogynist fratboys’ tactics and the Obamabots who thought women were the new ‘negroes’.
That pathetic over-the-hill perv should not be getting away with robbing our daughters’ human rights. Gov. Palin is fighting for her daughters like a tiger–as every mother should. Forget about her political ideology. This is not the issue here. As Amy Suskind said at the Huffpost(!) yesterday, Letterman is ushering in a new wave of Feminism and it’s going to take this perverted cultural milieu we live in by surprise!
We’re saying ENOUGH! We’re mad as hell and we’re not gonna take this garbage any more. Then we’ll shove it right in front of the obamyopic corporate sponsors. Hell, it’s dollars that will turn them into good boys who’ll start respecting other people’s daughters, if they ever respected their own, which is doubtable.
What happened to Hillary, Ferraro and Palin should not have to happen again to a woman who dares enter politics and threaten the neanderthal boys in the airwaves and Washington’s corrupt corridors.
CBS, we order you to give Letterman same treatment as Imus justifiably got from his bosses at NBC for his racist comments against the Rutgers AA girls. Or else, boys, you might as well put a banana tree with a noose hanging at the top and a girl hanging loose with a sign that says “this is just a joke, folk!”. Enough lynching of our daughters, mothers, sisters, wives.
We’re mad as hell and we are not gonna take it any more, boys!
June 16, 2009 at 12:38 pm
I don’t know why Hannity bothered having Al Sharpton on his show, talking about Letterman’s remarks regarding Sarah….are you kidding us Sean? Sharpton is so colored blind, if it’s not a black issue, it’s not an issue”"” double standard idiot. I’m so glad that “hill buzz” knows how to deliver a SMACKDOWN, cause it’s working…” Ole’ Letterman finally feels a real backlash and is so deserving. He should have been off the show year’s ago. Even if he is not “FIRED” this is one moment in his anal life he will soon not forget…” that’s what this is about “ACCOUNTABLITY” lib-hole’s need to be put on notice” America is not going to take the hate anymore, and it starts with Palin”
I wish more re-pub’s will chime-in and get more vocal about this hate” I would so love to be in New York right now, holding a big sign stating ( Shut-UP OLD MAN and go home to your Daddy”"”"”! ) I know……… mean! but he earned-it did he not?
Good Luck protestor’s and give-um one for me”
