The Olive Garden, Mars Candy, and Kelloggs are three of David Letterman’s biggest advertisers.
What is their corporate stance on the statutory rape of a 14 year old at a baseball game, which David Letterman (and, most likely, men like him in groups such as NAMBLA) think is hilariously funny? If these companies continue to advertise on The Late Show after Letterman so vulgarly said that New York Yankess player Alex Rodriguez, 33, “knocked up” Willow Palin, 14, the only Palin daughter at the New York Yankees game June 8th that Letterman was “joking” about, then these companies support the exploitation and brutalization of minors by helping to keep David Letterman on the air.
How does corporate America justify keeping the lights on at the Ed Sullivan theater for Letterman to brutalize children?
How do companies who stand with David Letterman explain to their customers that they knowingly and deliberately pay for Letterman’s platform that encourages the exploitation of minors?
Why should parents continue to patronize companies that sponsor a man who thinks the statutory rape of a 14 year old girl by a hulking 33 year old man is funny?
The addresses for David Letterman’s sponsors are at this link: we believe focusing on directing all complaints towards three big advertisers like The Olive Garden, Mars Candy, and Kelloggs is the most efficient use of time and resources as thousands and thousands of letters sent to these three companies will have more of an impact than thousands and thousands of letters diluted amongst the hundred or so advertisers who rotate spots on Letterman.
Take down three of Letterman’s biggest sources of income, and CBS will take notice and be forced to make changes going forward to protect their revenue stream.
LIST OF LETTERMAN’S ADVERTISERS (SPONSORS)
Please add any new sponsors you saw on last night’s Letterman in the thread linked above so they can continue to be all in one thread for easier reference.

Let’s keep that heat turned up, folks! When they feel the heat, they’ll see the light!
Meanwhile, CBS probably isn’t going to fire Letterman. Maybe they’ll give him a two-week “time out” or something and demand a more sincere apology.
Now, about that apology. I’d be more inclined to believe it if Dave were to back it up with some action, say a big fat donation to a charity in Willow Palin’s name.
How about a nice even one million dollars out of his own pocket to Autism Speaks, the charity that Sarah and Willow were in New York to support?
Good idea? Any support for that here? Can we get behind it? Letterman gives ONE MILLION DOLLARS out of his own pocket, in Willow Palin’s name, to Autism Speaks.
I’d like to see him give a big chunk to Alex Rodriguez’s favorite charity, too. After all, he did in essence call the man a pedophile and child molester. (I wish I were A-Rod’s lawyer. I’d be looking at new boat brochures right now.) How about a hundred thousand dollars to A-Rod’s favorite charity, whatever it is, just as a show of good faith?
June 13, 2009 at 11:00 am
I say we make it our mission to turn up the heat little by little each day, instead of letting up and falling away from it :)
I want to drive CBS INSANE. Couldn’t happen to a nicer network ;)
June 15, 2009 at 10:01 pm
I agree we need to make companies aware that the Christian Americans will not tolerate this type behavior any longer. We should not give anyone a pass in the name of Comedy or any other excuse. We need to stay with the boycott as long as possible….
June 13, 2009 at 11:01 am
And also: yes to all the donation ideas. Very nice, and I hope it gets done.
June 13, 2009 at 11:06 am
I think Letterman needs to give the donation AND for CBS to fire him.
June 13, 2009 at 11:16 am
i agree he should have to double the donation make a public apology every day on the air for each day he has caused mental emotional srtess to Willow. and since he says its ok to rape an 18 year opld. gee rape is still rape no matter the age ever think to do an intence background check on David. offenders list any one. fire him and black ball him from ever having a tv show again. then let Justice be served. i may niot be in the right here but im strongly againt any sex crime verbal and or physical they both leave scars so dont even get me started here……:(:(
June 13, 2009 at 11:19 am
That would be the best of both worlds!
June 13, 2009 at 1:40 pm
yes.donate and fired.
June 13, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Absolutely!!! Great idea!
I think that Letterman AND CBS should donate a large sum to Autism Speaks, NOW (yes them, oh the irony and I hope they choke on their guilt) and UNICEF (or similar) on behalf of the Palin women.
We all know that CBS won’t fire Letterman but we can make them pay where it hurts the most, their pockets. If advertisers start to back away and we can get very hefty donations out of them I will sleep with a smile on my face :)
Could anyone get Greta or a media personality to start pushing for this??
June 13, 2009 at 1:47 pm
Oh yeah, and when Dave and CBS announce these donations they need to say that the organizations were chosen by the Palin women.
Let NOW choke on their hypocritical guilt while Palin stands tall for ALL women!
June 13, 2009 at 10:53 am
I’m sure this has been posted on HB several times, but it bears repeating that filing a complaint with the FCC regarding Dave’s indecent remarks only takes a minute!

I remember years ago a Perv Uncle like Dave Letterman thought a greeting hug was an embrace and would not let go. Young Ladies do not like PERV ATTENTION DAVE!
So I ran to my car and to where hubby was.I had my husband call the police on my Perv Uncle. I was shaken up but won.
We do not take it !
TRUE STORY
June 13, 2009 at 11:36 am
I love how Palin Derangement spreads far and wide. Even on my dorky comic book forum, someone made a random Sarah Palin crack out of the blue.
I don’t stand for it, and instead of getting into a tl;dr (too long; didn’t read) argument with an Obot, I decided to spam him with Sarah images. And by my just posting Sarah pics, contrasted with some of the “IMPOSSIBLY ELEGANT” Michelle Obama (replete with a couple of HillBuzz classics!) you can see the unhinged insanity unfold:
1. http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=9080307&postcount=47
2. http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=9089899&postcount=62
3. http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=9091744&postcount=83
I am eagerly awaiting another opportunity to post more Sarah pictures. ♥
(and YES — I am also focused on the Letterman score. Just sent an e-mail to Johnson and Johnson! Keep it up, HillBuzzers!)
June 13, 2009 at 12:40 pm
Wow that really proved the point I made here in my post on yesterday’s thread about “a republican response”. We may get angry but we do not do nasty like the other side does. Yeah, we have some creeps too, but the
hate from the other
side is something else.

If looks could kill: did you see the photo of Mechelle sitting next to Carla Bruni at the DDay commemorations on the Drudge Report June 6? A look of pure hatred and jealousy from Mechlle as Carla looked up at the aircraft display overhead. (Tried to paste the photo here but it wouldn’t take.)
June 13, 2009 at 5:26 pm
Smilla,
It should take the photo if you paste in its image address. WordPress does that with YouTube vids, so I think it would work with photos too, but only with the image address url.

The meme of the day in the blogosphere is that ‘Palin thinks Letterman is a dirty old man” and radical progressives are making fun of the good governor over this.
Well, pea-brained radical progressives, this conservative Dem has a message for you:
LETTERMAN IS A DIRTY OLD MAN AND A BORING ONE TOO! How he lasted this long is beyond me. He is soooo boring and unappealing. He is sooooooooo 20th century. Can we have someone new? And get rid of little oprah and Conan too. They are soooooooo 20th century and BORING.
June 13, 2009 at 12:17 pm
If they are making fun of her response, that says far more about them than about her.
It shows them to be clueless about the harm being encouraged by the objectification of young girls. They are probably listening to rap promoting violence against women while they rage against the Governor.
June 13, 2009 at 1:01 pm
I finally realized that they take the lowest road because they are not able to argue against her based on politics. It is sad that by taking that low road they have no clue what they are demeaning women and children. (Not excusing their behavior just saying that they are doing far more harm to us just because of their hate toward Palin.)
June 13, 2009 at 5:17 pm
They do take the lowest road and they still listen to rap and watch music videos that portray young women as barely-clad lap dancers, but hey that’s cool right? Being cool is more important than having a mind of your own to them. That’s why they voted for the cool Candidate Who Must Be Obeyed.
June 13, 2009 at 12:41 pm
You mean BIG oprah!
June 13, 2009 at 1:01 pm
Yes BIG oprah in little in lower case.
June 13, 2009 at 11:43 am
I don’t want to see Letterman fired. The left will blame Palin and try to use it against her. Instead, he should apologize publicly and give a big donation to a few of Palin’s favorite charities.
June 13, 2009 at 12:00 pm
Don’t worry, Letterman will never be fired. However, a public apology is necessary.
June 13, 2009 at 12:04 pm
AND a fat donation to Autism Speaks.
June 13, 2009 at 1:36 pm
What a play on words, JackDaddy!!
With Letterman’s donation, perhaps research will enable the autistic to be able to speak normally & carry on a Hillbuzz conversation!
June 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm
kc – like you I am worried this “Fire Dave” drive will backfire and serve to provide an endless supply of fodder for use against Sarah Palin come campaign time. Frankly, after this blows over … and it surely will … I shudder to imagine Olbermutt’s, Mr. Tingle’s and yes, Letterman’s remarks excoriating Sarah’s racist/rabid/lunatic fringe followers as people who actively demonstrated against the first amendment and tried to deny Letterman his civil rights … just two amongst dozens of other trumped-up accusations. Please be careful … we want to help Sarah, not give her enemies the ammunition to hurt her.
June 13, 2009 at 1:38 pm
No one worried about Don Imus’s “civil rights.”
Goose sauce=Gander sauce.
Punish the mean bastard.
June 13, 2009 at 6:28 pm
No one cared about Imus’s rights because he insulted black women.
June 13, 2009 at 2:45 pm
KC and California Granny,
I share your concerns. At this point, I think public opinion is on Sarah’s side, but now I hope she pulls back and lets her grassroots support do the dirty work.
On a related note. Why is Andrew Sullivan such a hateful douchebag?

I was listening to a Lynn Samuels show on Sirius Left radio earlier where a conservative caller tried to bring Rush’s remarks about Chelsea to the table as a point of comparison. Lynn said that if you can’t tell the difference between calling someone a dog, and joking about teenage pregnancy, you’re retarded. How do we get the message across to all women, that the two comments are the same and that derogatory comments towards any female are unacceptable? It seems we need a two-pronged approach – boycott and education!
June 13, 2009 at 4:22 pm
“Lynn said that if you can’t tell the difference between calling someone a dog, and joking about teenage pregnancy, you’re retarded.”
So let’s slam people with learning disabilities too?
“How do we get the message across to all women, that the two comments are the same and that derogatory comments towards any female are unacceptable?”
I’m guessing you can’t get it across to any woman who calls people who do not share her opinion ‘retarded’.
My suggestion, don’t listen to this person. Clearly, she is part of the problem.
June 14, 2009 at 7:29 am
I was listening to Rush that day. He keeps a computer monitor up with a story or two on the subjest that he’s commenting on (hence the “stack of stuff” on his website.)
He was doing a dopey little human interest mention of the then-new White House dog (Millie) and for some reason there was a picture of Chelsea on the screen too.
Now, listening on the radio you couldn’t tell if it was Chelsea WITH the dog, or just a picture of Chelsea for another, unrelated article.
At any rate, Rush said, speaking to his monitor apparently, something about “what, Chelsea’s the White House dog?”
The minute he said it he realized how it would sound on the radio and apologized. He spends 15 hours a week doing live radio…it was unfortunate but it happened. He didn’t need a boycott to know it was wrong, and immediately apologized.

This is what the above article is about if is from drudge! WTF?:
US cities may have to be bulldozed in order to survive
Dozens of US cities may have entire neighbourhoods bulldozed as part of drastic “shrink to survive” proposals being considered by the Obama administration to tackle economic decline.
June 13, 2009 at 4:57 pm
This smacks of setting the stage for “eminent domain.” Big government can condemn a property, declare it of no value, force the owners out and then have a nice chunk of land—free.
Even if it’s left to go back to nature, I think there’s something more insidious at work here.
Benito wants to create “cluster camps” or more housing projects. To keep us all under his thumb. Wanna bet that there won’t be Big Brother big screen TV monitors in every cubicle apartment??

They have 50 cities targeted to bulldoze run-down areas and transplant the cockroaches into the suburbs. These cities are ALL run by liberals.People don’t value what they don’t earn. The parasites will feed off their new host until it is dead and then move on.Welcome to Obamanation.
June 13, 2009 at 5:06 pm
This is the same thing he did to Chicago…he was Senator in the area of town where the “projects” were…the sold the property…had the “projects” bulldozed and transplanted all the people who lived in them throughout other communities so the “numbers” would look better…
June 13, 2009 at 1:56 pm
I can’t stand Michelle Obama and I think her look she gave Bruni is definitely up for open season. I also think if ANY candidate wears something ugly that is up for discussion as well. As long as the clothes are not criticized in a sexual nature or sexist way. Ugly is ugly.
However, I do think we should refrain from calling Michelle Obama herself ugly etc….
That only lowers us to the same level as the hard left liberal haters.

Well, I sent off letters to Mars, Kelloggs, and Darden.
We cannot let this stand. He must offer a real apology. It shouldn’t end with Letterman either. All those pundits who are mocking Sarah for daring to defend her child from him should be mocked in return. Can we get a list of their sponsors please?
Thank you for what you are doing. I don’t know if it percolating to the left-wing sights, but everywhere I visit is talking about this.
SusanL
June 13, 2009 at 3:10 pm
Susan,
You need to keep your focus directed at Letterman’s sponsors; do not get distracted and veer off on tangents to other people’s sponsors. That’s the problem with Republicans that we have noticed: lose focus easily, get bored and give up, try to hit too many targets at once.
Olive Garden, Mars Candy, Kelloggs, Johnson + Johnson. Those are the four that we would put all effort into.
Write these people every day. FAX them every day. Call them every day. Send each one’s executives FedExes directly to their offices. Just keep hitting these same four companies until they buckle.
Republicans don’t seem to understand that if you dilute the fire leveled against these companies to too many targets, that fire is easy to ignore. But, if thousands and thousands of people keep hitting Olive Garden, Mars Candy, Kelloggs, and Johnson + Johnson, these companies will indeed stop advertising.
After that, you pick a handful of new targets and force them to pull their ads to.
And you keep going as long as you have to — at least 30 days of this — to teach CBS a lesson.
Then, and only then, can you branch out to hit other targets.
To be effective, you must be laser-focused and not scattershot.
June 13, 2009 at 3:34 pm
Hilly, I just sent the following to Mars, after their weak response of yesterday:
________________
Hello, thank you for responding to my complaint about your sponsorship of the David Letterman program.
Unfortunately, your response was not satisfying. What is required from you in this situation is a CLEAR statement that you do not support Mr. Letterman’s extremely offensive comments, and a promise that you will NOT be sponsoring his program in the future.
I hope to hear that this is the way you’re going, because my wife really loves Snickers bars and does not want to give them up. But I will not allow any Mars product in my home from now on unless you take an affirmative stand on this issue.
The world is watching. Please do the right thing.
Thank you for your time and your concern.
_______________
Thanks for keeping us focused.
I also just emailed a note to Tammy Bruce, telling her that HILLBUZZ is THE place to find all the sponsor contact information.
June 13, 2009 at 3:15 pm
Letterman will need to be fired if CBS has a history of terminating employees under their sexual harrassment policy, when an employee tells a joke in the owrkplace that could be considered harrassing, sends e-mails that violate their standards policy, post pictures or otherwise openly violates the company policy on forms of harrassment. If they have terminated other employees for just such behavior, then they cannot exempt Letterman or they are then open to lawsuits from those terminated employees. If a current employee files a complaint with the CBS HR department against Letterman’s remarks, then CBS’ HR department is required to intervene and conduct an investigation.

Please don’t demand that CBS fire David Letterman. That would make things much worse for young girls in America. David Letterman’s audience of sexist drunks, crackheads, stoned potheads, and women-haters would have no appropriate late night entertainment and would then pose grave threats of rape and molestation for little girls.
June 13, 2009 at 5:19 pm
Goosefeathers! His ass needs to get fired. The Obama freaks made this a culture war. Time to fight. In war there are casualties.
Lock and load Mr. Cheney, time to go duck hunting.
June 13, 2009 at 5:35 pm
Since Hillbuzz has settled on a “top priority” list, I’m not going to continue providing a daily list of advertisers (I have to record the show, and the LAST thing I want to do is bump his viewership or ratings).
We’ve got our main targets…it’s time to go to the mattresses!
June 13, 2009 at 6:05 pm
Raven,
We think it’s helpful to know who’s advertising to see which companies have pulled their ads. While we are focusing on Olive Garden, Mars Candy, Kellogg’s, and Johnson + Johnson, we would like people to note each day who is advertising.
A word about ratings = unless you are a Nielsen family, the ratings aren’t impacted by what you do. Nielsen families are sent booklets in the mail to record their TV viewing. At least that is how it was done when one of here was a Nielsen household about 10 years ago. Ratings aren’t impacted by anyone else than the people who have been contacted by Nielsen and have accepted the job of a ratings household.
Please use the main thread for DAVID LETTERMAN’S ADVERTISERS that we will link to in every daily open thread so we can get all the advertisers in one place. About 4,000 people a day are hitting that Advertiser thread, so everything that is put there is being used to write to the sponsors.
Because we got rid of all our TVs and cable, we can’t watch Letterman ourselves, thankfully, but appreciate those of you out there who can record all his sponsors and post them in the Letterman Advertiser’s thread.
June 13, 2009 at 6:25 pm
Not all ratings families use the notebooks or diaries. Some familes have “boxes” hooked up to their TVs that automatically record what they’re watching. Back in the ’70s I dated a girl who was a “Nielson family.” She had the box on her TV and she would leave her TV on all day on a certain station because her best friend was a big fan of some soap opera and she wanted to “help” the ratings for that show. So she was counted as so-many-thousands of people watching that soap opera, even though she wasn’t home!
The written diaries go out to people for a week or so at a time, so they have a second, constantly varying database.
With today’s technology, I wouldn’t be surprised if they could take ratings directly from the cable and satellite providers.
June 13, 2009 at 9:18 pm
Get this:
I WAS A NIELSON RATER!
Yeah, about two years ago I got a packet in the mail and had to record everything I watched.
It was voluntary, of course, and I think I got paid $5 for my time or something.
I laughed about it for months because I thought the whole thing was made up.
Meet Tammy, a former Nielson rater!
Funny, huh?
June 13, 2009 at 10:21 pm
Tammy -
I was Nielsen rater years ago when I lived in Cleveland. I don’t remember the exact year, but I remember Buffy the Vampire Slayer was still on the air and was my favorite show and that I didn’t record shows I watched so much as I listed all the shows I liked so they looked highly rated. I got about $5.00 too — and I think they actually had the money in the envelop when it came in the mail if I remember right…and it was a crisp, brand new $5 that didn’t look real.
June 13, 2009 at 10:44 pm
Hey, Nielson Brother! Never met another person who was a Nielson voter.
Cool.
I may be off in my timing, but in the comments section I said something about Rosie O’Donnell being “vile” and a “kook” on the view.
That’s probably the last time I watched that show. I see clips on the internet, but would never give that show my time because they are all so out of touch with reality.
New York beotches who haven’t been outside of Manhattan.

Hello, Hillbuzz friends and family!
I hope you’re having a great Saturday, and you are taking at least a little time to write or email firms who advertise on the Late Show with David Letterman. Just to pass on what I’m doing today:
- here’s what I’m asking of the C-level execs as part of my letters:
“I am, respectfully, requesting that you take the following steps before I will do business with Wyeth [or whomever] again: a) that you take a very strong public stand regarding the inappropriate and degrading nature of Mr. Letterman’s comments, b) take concrete and verifiable steps to stop advertising on the Late Show – including steps to ensure that Wyeth will not be inadvertently advertised through media buys and other placements, and, c) suspend all advertisements of any sort on any CBS television, radio, or other media vehicle until and unless CBS takes an unequivocal, and decisive stand in reprimanding Mr. Letterman.”
- I am also suggesting to each person with a chairman, president, and / or CEO title (who presumably will be able to get through if they make a personal call to CBS), that they consider making a call to Les Moonves, President of CBS, and expressing their personal opinion on this issue, whatever that opinion is. The number I have for CBS is (212) 975-4321. Does anyone have a direct number of Mr. Moonves? I am simply suggesting they consider doing so, rather than requesting or demanding that they do so.

I look forward to Megan Fox promoting Transformers by sitting with David Letterman and both of them laughing boisterously over the people in America they wish would die. Something to look forward to? A meeting of the minds. pathetic Letterman must go.

Thanks for the excellent link, Fefe. Fox shows the disdain Hollywood has for its audience even while relying on the same people for profits.

David Letterman has insulted all women. The age excuse does nothing to excuse his demented comments. I am sure he is an embarassment to his child and his wife, my sympathy to them. I can’t imagine why sponsors would want to advertise on a show that has a host that thinks that the sexual abuse of any age woman is funny. What a disgrace!!!

I like the idea of pushing for Letterman to donate $$$ to charities in Willow Palin’s name.
Another thought… I don’t remember the name or the URL of the website, but we can find out if any of the corporate bigwigs donated to the McCain-Palin campaign. I figure the ones who donated to Obama are a lost cause, but perhaps the Repubs among them will be more receptive to our message?

Bernie Goldberg has an interesting thought:
“President Obama appoints a bureaucrat, a so-called Pay Czar, to make sure executives whose companies the government bailed out don’t get paid too much.
“Pay should be tied to performance, the argument goes. Okay, then let’s take a cold, hard look at all the members of Congress.
“Like the executive in the private sector, they take money from the American taxpayer, too. And they got us so deep in the hole we may never get out. If we tied their salaries to performance, they’d have to pay all of us!”

I sent my complaints to DirectTV and this is their reply:
“Thank you for writing. I can certainly appreciate your interest about DIRECTV taking into consideration programming feedback from our customer. I tried to call you today at around 12:08 p.m. CT to assist you, but I was unable to reach you.
Many factors affect or may influence the availability of the programming channels we carry. We value customer opinions about these channels, DIRECTV management reviews every suggestion, inquiry, and complaint for trends from our most important customers to determine what changes should be considered. As such, your comments regarding this issue have been forwarded to DIRECTV management for review.
Thanks again for writing; we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns.”
I also sent complaints to FCC and got a letter back immediately – was a form letter.
I will start with sponsor letters tomorrow.

It seems that DirectTV thinks you are complaining because you cannot get a program that you want to watch. But you were complaining about their advertising on Letterman, correct? Otherwise the DirectTV response doesn’t make any sense to me.

Hello Marilyn,
Your email to Direct TV ROCKS!!!
I tried to post my email to Hellmann’s foods here earlier, but I don’t see it. This is what I’ve already emailed them:
“I REQUEST A RESPONSE FROM YOUR COMPANY TO THIS MESSAGE. I have recently learned that your company is a sponsor of the David Letterman show. As you are well aware, he recently made some disgusting comments about a 14 year old girl and gave what I consider to be a non-apology. I have purchased (just bought a jar last week as a matter of fact) Hellmann’s Mayonnaise for many years and love the product but I am sorry to say that I will no longer purchase your product because of the company’s association with the David Letterman show. As a woman, I found the so-called joke about this child being sexually violated by a grown man to be completely offensive to me and will no longer purchase any of your company’s products. I will also seek out other products made by your parent company and urge everyone I know to also boycott those products. This is really tough since I believe that Hellmann’s is the absolutely BEST commercially made mayonnaise on the market. However, if your company thinks that it’s cool for David Letterman to imply that sex with a 14 year old child is funny I will no longer in good conscience be able to purchase ANY product produced by your company and will of course urge others to do the same.”
Keep up the pressure on the Letterman show and especially their advertisers!

here is something a little bit different. The remarks are funny….

Well its no different than the thousands of other remarks against anyone that’s not in the Progressive movement. Letterman just forgot to check the Liberal playbook, which is always to run down the white male and it will be okay. It gets tricky when you do it to any other one thats in the rightwing. Imagine if he would have said ANYTHING funny about Obamas family? He is a Political “spear chunker” but when he gets heat for it he says it was a joke. You all remember Baldwin on the Conan show calling for the death of Henry Hyde? When he caught heat he just uses the “its a joke “excuse!

I found Letterman’s remarks about Governor Palin’s daughter(s) to be tasteless, baseless and objectionable in the most liberal of social circles. He, like many so called notables (He is not a celebrity because celebrity requires responsibility and accountability) are always after the cheap laugh at the expense of their own character. Doesn’t Letterman realize that he insulted his own sainted Mother and “Live In” Mother of his son? There is nothing sacred to this toad of late night TV? Apparent not, which is why I refuse to buy products advertised in his time slot nor will I watch CBS after 10:pm Central. Letterman, you are a disgusting, bitter excuse for a TV PERSONALITY!

Letterman should be fired immediately. All his sponsors should pull their ads or risk being associated with someone of his lack of character.
October 4, 2009 at 6:44 pm
The emerging defenders of David Letterman explain his violations of sexual harassment standards this way: Letterman never preports to have any moral standards, so he can’t possibly violate them as he has accused so many others. CBS holds this cash cow as untouchable. The advertisers may not see it quite the same if enough consumers speak up. This smug clown hides behind his commercial value and defames, with impunity, decent hard working Americans who pay his salary.
It’s time CBS takes a sponsor hit for this idiot. In Letterman’s own words, having a slut wife and a bastard child makes you fodder for the tabloids and gets you fired…Oh, that sounds like him!!!
Time to go clown.
