Go ahead and laugh at the National Enquirer, but it gets things right more often than not.
The Enquirer believes Chelsea Clinton is planning her wedding for this summer, to Wall Street trader Marc Mezvinsky – and apparently it will take place on a hill somewhere overlooking the ocean.
We have to say, Chelsea Clinton is one of the nicest, smartest, most personable people we ever met on the campaign trail. Without a doubt, she is the greatest accomplishment of her parents. What a wonderful daughter, who worked so hard for her mother’s campaign, and was ALWAYS so kind to and appreciative of all of her mother’s supporters and volunteers.
We can’t say enough nice things about Chelsea, and always wish her happiness in everything she does.
So, if a wedding is coming, it would be a wonderful blessing this summer.
Chelsea certainly deserves a beautiful, happy occasion — so if she’s planning one, we hope she gets it.

she deserves a glorious day,if she IS planning one…

Would love to see Chelsea become a congresswoman. She is so smart, lovely, delightful, intelligent, has a wonderful grasp of issues just like her mom. I got a chance to see Chelsea at a fundraiser for Hillary during the primary. What a treat!!!

Since the tabloids got Edwards thing right (?Spitzer) I say:
CONGRATs Chelsea!!
I would love to see her run as an Idependent!! It’s time for a viable
3rd party; who better that a Clinton to set it off!!

I agree with your suggestion for a third party run by Chelsea. And while we’re at it, Sarah should run as an Independent as well. At this point, the Republican party isn’t good enough for Sarah, just as Chelsea is too good for the Democrat party!

I’m all for a long, happy marriage for Chelsea and Marc…and a third-party run by both Chelsea and Sarah.
No one can EVER take away from Hill and Bill their rousing success as parents. Chelsea is a first-class human being!

A lot of folks ignore the National Enquirer and refuse to take it seriously.
You are right though – the paper has been correct more times than not.
If that be the case – I do wish Chelsea and her man the very best of luck.
I think it’s exciting!

Chelsea will be a Congresswoman, then a Senator, then a Cabinet member, then POTUS!!!
March 31, 2009 at 1:22 pm
Never!
March 31, 2009 at 1:27 pm
If never is the answer, it’ll only be because she’ll choose not to. Certainly not because an Obot says it.
March 31, 2009 at 1:35 pm
OMG – I didn’t mean it that way!
I meant only that it doesn’t seem to be in the cards for Chelsea.
She is not a very public person, etc.
Accusing me of being an Obot in a serious insult.
But, I’ll forgive you. :-)

Ouch! I bet that hurt. Sorry. Thanks for being a forgiving soul:)

i wish her the best..what ever she does..

Some stories in the Enquirer don’t sound plausible but this one does. I’ve been figuring she’d be getting married soon. The rumor she’s engaged has been out there for a while, and she mentioned on the campaign trail that she was thinking of having a family soon. So it all adds up.
I wish her the best, and believe Marc is a good match for her because they’ve known each other since they were teens, and he understands what it’s like to have politically active parents since both of his were once in Congress. BTW, as a PA resident, I’ve always liked his mom, Marjorie Margolies Mezvinsky.

I never noticed it before but she has her mothers eyes.
Hope she has a spectacular wedding.

I’ve always liked Chelsea and if this is true I wish her the best!

Chelsea is so sweet I got tongue tied when I was talking with her..how embarassing.

Heads up everyone. Pass this on.
There has been news of a potentially extremely destructive highly infections computer virus going around that will be circulating the net starting this evening. To take every precaution to avoid this threat please make sure your PCs are patched up to date and running an anti-virus with the latest detection rules. You can get the latest updates for your PC by going to: windowsupdate.microsoft.com and follow the update instructions, let the automatic system install any necessary update it finds available. Reboot.
Also check your anti-virus software and make sure it is running and up to date. If it has not completed a scan recently, it is a good idea to set the software to run a complete scan and let it run through to verify no threats are currently present

It would be nice to see her actually accomplish something out in the real world before she starts running for office and presuming to tell the rest of us how to live our lives. Unfortunately the latter seems to be the pattern all too often these days, which is how we got in the mess we’re in. The absolute last thing we need is more “professional politicians” who have never accomplished a damn thing in the real world. Today’s headlines prove that staying on that course is *madness.”

Best wishes to Chelsea. Watch her go!
OT: did anyone see The Daily Show on Obama’s “rebranding” of the war on terror (ah, “overseas contingency operations”, that is) and terrorism (“man-caused disasters”)? What the….?
