Stone cold fox Todd Palin’s gearing up for the Iron Dog race in Alaska this coming Sunday, with adorable little Trig cheering his dad on, no doubt, from the safety and comfort of someplace warm and snuggly.
We’ve said this before but will say it again, waxing uncharacteristically prophetic and spiritual, but Trig Palin’s going to change the world someday. He’s an angel undercover, this little guy is. And we say this as a bunch of Democrats here in Chicago who never gave much thought to special needs kids or their families — because it’s been years since we’ve known a family with a Down Syndrome child. Well, we know and love a family like that in the Palins, and you can bet we are never going to forget about special needs families going forward — and will use this site and everything else we write to continue to call for the support these wonderful Americans DESERVE. God Bless every last one of them, coming from guys who don’t use that phrase often.
God Bless the Palins, and keep Todd safe in the Iron Dog, as well as looking over all of his fellow competitors.
Somehow, we don’t think Jill Biden’s up for something like this. Not that we could handle it either. But, we sure can cheer for Todd!
We’re always so proud of little Trig’s dad — America’s #1 He-Man feminist, and kind of our role model in some ways.
Moonbat alert: that’s two pro-Palin posts from us in a row. And we’re sure you’re keeping track.

Swoon…!
Sarah’s definitely got it all, which is something the moonbat feminists hate her for! Wish there were more men like Todd around. Maybe now there will be?

Hill Buzz you guys always know a good looking hunk when you see one and in this case two of them.I couldn’t agree more.Todd is soooo sexy and little Trig is so precious.
And keep posting pictures of these two cuties. You’ll make all the ladies happy and drive the moonbats completely bonkers at the same time. That’s a very good thing.

Can you just imagine the difference in the White House if Sarah was living there? Not only would she be surrounded with better people, she would be working so very hard for us. Makes me sad to think about it.

Sibling and sole caretaker of a Down syndrome brother raising hand and shouting, “Amen!”

Is there any question why all those tightlipped shrews like Andrea Mitchell, Katie Couric, Campbell Brownetc. were so bitterly jealous of Sarah Palin? Would you want to roll over every morning and look at Alan Greenspan? No wonder Mitchell always lookslike she just ate a bad shrimp. The Palins are awesome!!!
February 5, 2009 at 8:35 am
Chandler, for propriety’s sake, we;re going to let you do all the talking about rolling and mornings and any relation to Todd Palin. It’s sad he’s not snowmachining around the Naval Observatory grounds all day in winter Washington right now. Maybe he’ll get the chance to do that on the East Lawn just off Pennsylvania Avenue soon enough.
Love. That. Todd.

Chandler, I hear what your saying, however look at fat little Katie who wants to wake up with that? Maybe there`s hope for fat little Katie with the tax the NY governor is adding to fattening food.

Let me dream ladies!

Julianne,
I have always enjoyed your comments, but now . .. . . you are officially one of my heros. I am training to work with alzheimer’s patients.
February 5, 2009 at 9:53 am
Kei Ying: I bow in humble gratitude. And now, YOU are officially one of my heroes!
I’d like to suggest a FANTASTIC book that I worked on (no, I have no financial interest in it other than the fee I receive for services rendered).
It’s called DANCING WITH ROSE: FINDING LIFE IN THE LAND OF ALZHEIMER’S by Lauren Kessler. She’s a journalist who, after her own mom’s death from complications due to Alzheimer’s, went incognito as a low-wage aide in an Alzheimer’s facility. She did this as an act of atonement for having put her mother in a facility.
You will laugh, you will cry, you will learn much. Good luck, and God bless! Thank you for your selflessness!

Thanks Julianne,
I’ll check it out. It sounds like a good read.

oops: error in my post (#10). That should be “received”–past tense. Fee for editing, and that’s all.

With the divorce rate among parents of special kids hovering around 80%, more support is always welcome. I am so thankful for my husband, who looked me in the eye the day our son was diagnosed with a rare seizure disorder and said, “I am not leaving.” Our son was miraculously healed of the seizures that would have left him limp and lifeless. Now we live with autism, a residual effect of the damage caused by the seizures. Our son will be 13 soon, and he is an amazing kid, another healing in progress.
A decade ago, I literally thought I was going to die. The stress was unbearable. Now, we advocate for other families. Having a central clearinghouse for information for families should be a high priority — something I am quite sure Sarah Palin would have done, even as VP.
Thank you for expressing such support for those of us who live parallel lives with typical Americans. We look the same, but our “pursuit of happiness” looks very different from everyone else’s. (Notice I said “typical.” Nobody is “normal.” “Normal” is a setting on my dryer.)
Julianne, I knew you were a kindred spirit. Now I understand why. God bless you.

That is a whole lotta man right there.

Hey, cool picture.
My preference is more photos of the ‘Cuda, but if pictures of the future First Husband and son make people happy on this blog, I’ll live with it. Guy seems pretty cool, can’t wait to see him turn DC upside down in a few years.
Knowing that the empty skulled obots and moonbats that lurk here go into spastic conniptions when you post this stuff makes it all the more enjoyable.
Just be cautious about doing it too much- feral house speakers have been known to spray on things they don’t care for.

Julianne and Mama Girl, I can tell even over the internet how huge your hearts are. Bless you both <3
Hillbuzz, I truly hope that man will be the first First Dude of the United States some day (soon). I admire him very much; he is a special guy. And I say this as a person who had a father who was never around, and when he WAS around, all he did was yell and scream and bitch about nothing at all. I love that Todd is a wonderful, doting father, and that he makes it possible for his Sarah to kick butt all day long.
I love that family, too. I want them to live in White House as much as you do. I know Sarah and Todd are a beacon of hope for everyone who is touched by disabilities of all types, and I truly hope they get the chance and the forum to make great progress in this area. I hope the voters give them the chance to do something great in the future, for the entire country, not just Alaska.

Oh, yeah, the man-candy factor…
Now I rememeber the OTHER reason I voted for McCain/Palin.

Thank you, Hillbuzz, for that darling picture of little Trig and daddy Todd. I LOVE THAT SWEET LITTLE GUY! Good luck to Todd!!

All the best in your training, Kei Ying. You are good person to do that. My mother has Alzheimer’s. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
And Betty, I’m feeling the same. It would be wonderful to have the Palins in the White House. They are such good people and Todd would make a fantastic First Dude!
