There are literally only a handful of Republicans we could ever see ourselves working for, outside of our friends at the Chicago Young Republicans.
Arlen Specter is high on that list (followed closely by Sarah Palin and whatever Republican runs against Claire McCaskill in 2012). Specter is a good man, and an excellent Senator.
Matthews, on the other hand, is a disgusting pig whom we hate.
The fact MSNBC allows him to remain on the air when he’s already campaigning for 2010′s Senate race is criminal. There are actual laws against candidates for political office having free platforms on television; it turns our stomach a bizarre exemption to this is allowed for Matthews (presumably because he is on cable, and not broadcast television).
Any woman who votes for Matthews deserves a special place in Hell. We normally are not that blunt, but what Matthews did to Hillary Clinton, and then Sarah Palin, will neither be forgotten nor forgiven. He is a sick, twisted, misogynistic, vile, repugnant, we-could-go-on-for-DAYS-in-this-vein, pig.

And besides Tim Russert and Keith Olbermann, there isn’t another person on Earth we have ever called a pig, with residual guilt for insulting pigs by comparing them to these vile men.

I agree that Matthews is mental..along with many other reporters in the media. The reporter who had enough guts to ask not one ..but three questions yesterday at obama’s news conference and got under the skin of his majesty..may never be seen again. It makes my stomach turn to watch McCaskill and her snide smirk. She always looks as though she is smirking because she put one over on us. One of obama’s zombies said…” we now have real promise for this country.” Hope she doesn’t mind covering her face..and obeying her man.

I think Matthews should be committed to a mental ward for evualation, just in case he goes off the deep end and takes a bunch of people out with him, I live in Pa. and I will do everything I can to keep him from winning any races in this state if he decides to run against Arlen, Pa. doesn’t want this pig anywhere near a government office, he is a certified nut, that McCaskill is a beast I think she looks like some kind of ugly animal, she sure is scary looking, if I saw her on the street I would slap her as hard as I could, she’s not a woman she’s a zombie for Obama.

Part of me still hopes that I can rejoin a reformed DNC, if Matthews is a DNC candidate for the senate in Pa. that dream will die. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Peace and love.

Betty – McCaskill (with a big assist from the DNC and MSM) DID put one over on us (or at least those that voted for obama). I hope she gets her *ss handed to her when she runs for re-election. And we did notice that MO backed McCain, so she couldn’t even pull in her state for the GE.

And would someone, for the love of heaven, tell me why Russert’s son is now on MSNBC being paraded as an expert commentator? What is the qualifier…that he is the son-of-Russert? Doesn’t it take just a little more than that to give expert opinions on cable? Oh, I forgot, it IS cable, so not so much.

I have already put friends on notice that I will become a machine at that point, leading the fight against Matthews.

It is criminal. Matthews showed himself as a nut on Morning Joe one morning saying that he had to support Obama as a member of the media. WTF? We have an obligation to “root” for him since that would help the country. But you, Piss Mathhews, as a member of the media, have a duty to scrutinize him. Wonder why he did not think that way while George Bush kept us from another terrorist attack in over 7 years.
