Has this guy EVER had an ORIGINAL thought in his life? He writes a book about dreams and imagination (if he even wrote it himself??). He uses other people’s speech material. He has to call everyone he knows to get them to explain ‘his’ economic plan (per Bubba Clinton). Does he even have a brain????
Sample quote: “Don’t believe these polls for a second. I just went over our numbers and found that we have next to no chance in the following states: Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire and Nevada. Ohio leans heavily to McCain, but is too close to call it for him. Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa are the true “toss up states”. The only two of these the campaign feels “confident” in are Iowa and New Mexico. The reason for such polling discrepancy is the Bradley Effect, and this is a subject of much discussion in the campaign. In general, we tend to take a -10 point percentage in allowing for this, and are not comfortable until the polls give us a spread well over this mark. This is why we are still campaigning in Virginia and Pennsylvania! This is why Ohio is such a desperate hope for us! What truly bothers this campaign is the fact that some pollsters get up to an 80% “refuse to respond” result. You can’t possibly include these into the polls. The truth is, people are afraid to let people know who they are voting for. The vast majority of these respondents are McCain supporters.”

Barack Obama Offers Nothing New
By JONAH GOLDBERG
There’s an old saying: The oldest word in American politics is “new.” Only in that sense is there anything new to Barack Obama.
Obama prefers the word “progressive” to “liberal” because it makes it sound like he’s shedding old liberal ideas. But if he is, it’s only to embrace older ones.
America first encountered the vision Obama espouses under Woodrow Wilson, the first progressive President and the first to openly disparage the U.S. Constitution as a hindrance to enlightened government. His new idea was to replace it with a “living constitution” that empowered government to evolve beyond that document’s constraints.
The Bill of Rights, lamented the progressives, inhibited what the government can do to people, but it failed to delineate what it must do for people.
The old conception of individualism needed to be replaced by a new system in which the citizen would “marry his interests to the state,” in Wilson’s words. This would allow the state to fulfill the progressive pledge to “spread the prosperity around.”
Obama shares Wilson’s faith in a living constitution and has argued that Supreme Court judges should be confirmed based on their empathy for the downtrodden.
I like how Obama looks back and forth at the teleprompter’s on either side of him. This guy cannot think for himself and he is nothing without a teleprompter.
Before Americans cast their votes this Tuesday, prudence suggests that they put aside all the noise of the campaigns and instead apply to history’s first moralist, Aesop, a Greek, born about 620 BC, for instruction, who if alive, would surely engage them in public discourse on one of his most famous fables, The Ass and the Purchaser which bears relating here:
A Man wished to purchase an Ass, and agreed with its owner that he should try out the animal before he bought him. He took the Ass home and put him in the straw yard with other Asses, upon which the new animal left all the others and at once joined the one that was the most idle and greatest eater of them all. Seeing this, the man put a halter on him and led him back to his owner. On being asked how, in so short a time, he could have made a trial of him, he answered, “I do not need a trial; I know that he will be just the same as the one he chose for his companion.”
Aesop’s Lesson for all Americans:
Man is known by the company he keeps.

Wow, seeing this brings back memories. It’s pretty incredible that Obama has been reading from a prepared Axelrod script. The Deval Patrick campaign was simply a “test run” for what we’re seeing now.
This election as the Hillbuzz boys know is not about being President. It is really about Mayor Daley. The mayor runs a tight knit machine in Chicago. Currently, Patrick Fitzgerald is the federal prosecutor here. Daley needs him gone. Peter Fitzgerald (no relation) lost his Senate seat over it. The Republicans in Illinois participate in the machine too, John Kass correctly calls it the Combine.
Daley has his brother on the country board, to watch out and make sure the city “gets its fair share”. He needs his other brother on the cabinet of Obama, to make sure that Obama guides patronage money to the city. He will also see that Fitzgerald is retired, or moved to another position.
Rezco is singing. Bill Cellini was indicted yesterday. It is a question of time before Blagovich (our GUV) and very possibly da mare hisself gets indicted. Many Daley machine guys are cooling their heels in the federal pen. Once they see it beneficial to sing, they will.
Machinehater – nice insight! How big is Patrick Fitzgerald’s bodyguard contingent? That guy’s got to have more powerful enemies than Ness did in his day.
The Real Reason B0arack Hussein Obama went to Hawaii!
Today on Fox News, officials from Hawaii announced the Barack Hussein Obama’s “Birth Certificate” is proper! So the lawsuit against his being a legal citizen has been dismissed!
Now did he go visit his dying greandmother? Is she really dying? I think not! It is my opinion that Senator Tarzan went to Hawaii to pay the officials to make the birth certificate problem go away!
The dying grandmother was a cover story!!!! I am willing to bet that she does not die and the new found birth certificate has been bought and paid for with excess campaign funds! Why was this document not sent to the court in PA for examination?
I might have been born at night, but it was not last night!!!
How many of us PUMAs are out there do you suppose?
Will we make a difference?
Well, I saw a recent internal poll that estimated 30% of Hillary voters will be voting for McCain. Out of 18 million who voted for Hillary, that’s approximately 6 million votes for McCain. So yeah, I think that can make a difference in some of those battleground states.
Dear Puma’s…
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am a conservative woman and since visiting hillbuzz and seeing we all have a common interest–defeating Bambi–I think we can pull it off. I would not be deathly afraid for my country if Hillary was the Democratic nominee. I still would not be voting for her, but she is an American who wants good things for America, not a marxist with so many questionsble acquaitances and no track record. I think ACORN and all the shenanigan’s they caused cost Hillary the nomination.
Inside the Obama campaign it was Michelle and Barack who opposed Hillary completely. All the advisors wanted Hillary as VP. It is simple hatred by Michelle and Barack.
If Obama wins then they will discard Hillary into a trash can. Hillary was foolish to help Obama.
La Boheme:

FLASHBACK: Obama’s Said His Parents “Got Together” Because Of The 1965 Selma March:
In His Selma Speech, Obama Said His Parents “Got Together” And He Was Born As A Result Of The Selma March. Obama: “Because some folks were willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama, Jr. was born. So don’t tell me I don’t have a claim on Selma, Alabama.” (Senator Barack Obama, Remarks At Brown Chapel AME Church, Selma, AL, 3/4/07)
Come on Hillbuzz, I know you guys are smart enough to know the truth behind this clip – that Deval Patrick is an Obama campaign adviser and suggested the lines to Barack, which Barack has explained on several occasions. Now I won’t go into details about my personal political preferences or how I voted this year, but I will say this: we need some balance in this election. We need news sources and blogs that provide context with their smears, and we need some hope for bringing America together on Wednesday no matter what happens on Tuesday night. McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden have both been subjected to some vicious and thoroughly outrageous distortions of their records/histories, and you guys are just as much at fault as all the McCain haters. I think we all need to recognize the fact that, no matter who wins or what promises they bring for a better America in the next four or eight years it will all be completely useless if the country can’t come together behind the next President of the United States. We’re all in this together. By the time I get home the U.S. will have a vastly different political landscape, and I just hope that when all the dust settles we are all still unified by our shared American identity. Here’s to national unity in 2009.
I actually think the first speaker was better.
Whazzisname?
That’s Deval Patrick, the Gov. of Massachusetts. And by the way, you should ask the people of MA how the “hope and change” gig worked out for them. Most are pretty disappointed in Deval Patrick so far, and it was one factor in Hillary winning the MA primary.
Check out this very interesting article about Onanny – it gives a chilling insight to how he appears to be so slick – about why he is anathema to the values most of us have – and yet everyone just thinks he sounds soooooo good…
I found an article by Stanley Kurtz at National Review Online:
“The Gamaliel connection appears to supply a solution to the riddle of Obama’s mysterious political persona. On one hand, he likes to highlight his days as a community organizer — a profession with proudly radical roots in the teachings of Chicago’s Saul Alinsky, author of the highly influential text Rules for Radicals. Obama even goes so far as to make the community-organizer image a metaphor for his distinctive conception of elective office. On the other hand, Obama presents himself as a post-ideological, consensus-minded politician who favors pragmatic, common-sense solutions to the issues of the day. How can Obama be radical and post-radical at the same time? Perhaps by deploying Gamaliel techniques. Gamaliel organizers have discovered a way to fuse their Left-extremist political beliefs with a smooth, non-ideological surface of down-to-earth pragmatism: the substance of Jeremiah Wright with the appearance of Norman Vincent Peale. Could this be Obama’s secret?”
Holy crap, that’s a pretty heavy article. Kurtz is a brilliant guy, and he may have finally connected all the dots and identified exactly what mysterious Mr. Obama’s ideology really is. If Kurtz is right – and his theory does seem to fit – then Obama’s election would essentially be the radical overthrow of the United States. Of course, most of us sheeple wouldn’t even know it . . . at least not at first.
If Blagovich goes down, aren’t we getting close to good ole Obama? I mean, do we really believe that he was able to operate and thrive in this cesspool of corruption and not be infected by it? Personally, I think he’s up to his floppy ears in it.
Axelrod was Duval’s campaign manager then became Obama’s when Obama announced his presidential run; not too surprising both used the same ‘words.’ I was pleased when Duval won – apparently he’s not doing too well though because his unpopularity ratings are Way up. I’ve read that if Obama wins Duval will be one of his appointees; don’t remember for which position.
Obama’s words: “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” were also plagarized with no credit given to the original writer. The man has a penchant for it.
Lifetime Dem, I voted absentee for McCain/Palin – Country before Party. Obama’s an empty suit.
Give him some credit — at least he mixed up the order a little bit. That’s more than Slow Joe bothered to do when he ripped off that British guy’s speech.

Americans Should Remember Aesop on
Election Day
Before Americans cast their votes this Tuesday, prudence suggests that they put aside all the noise of the campaigns and instead apply to history’s first moralist, Aesop, a Greek, born about 620 BC, for instruction, who if alive, would surely engage them in public discourse on one of his most famous fables, The Ass and the Purchaser which bears relating here:

This is nit-picking, I know, but Obama didn’t deliver this plagiarized speech anywhere near as well as Deval Patrick did.
Much love to all PUMAs.

God, we must defeat this man.
Pray . . . then phone bank!

If Blagovich goes down, aren’t we getting close to good ole Obama? I mean, do we really believe that he was able to operate and thrive in this cesspool of corruption and not be infected by it? Personally, I think he’s up to his floppy ears in it.

Told ya so…
Obama beat Mccain 52-42 in Saturday’s Zogby sample.
