If you want to see a video of Obama and Michelle having dinner with Edward Said and his wife in 1998, watch Hannity tonight. We’re pretty sure he’s talking about a video of the event the picture above was taken at (aka, the prettiest and happiest we’ve ever seen Michelle, where she’s just bursting with…uh, something. Pride in her country? Or indigestion. Can’t tell, but love the prison-issue orange on her. How radical!).
This is NOT the tape the LA Times is refusing to release: that tape is from 2003 and shows Obama at a goodbye dinner for Rashid Khalidi, who left Chicago to teach at Columbia University (Khalidi, FYI is the man responsible for inviting Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak at Columbia, then complained that Columbia University didn’t treat Ahmadinejad well enough).
On the tape the LA Times won’t release, Obama’s seen laughing and cheering as various pro-Palestinians bash Israel and make other anti-Semitic remarks. Obama has a fantastic time at the event, and makes remarks himself to the effect that Israel has no right to exist and that Israelis are responsible for genocide of Palestinians.
According to all sources that have described it, this is apparently the most disgusting thing anyone has ever seen: a presidential candidate laughing and cheering as people talk about destroying Israel, America’s greatest ally in the Middle East, and the only democracy in a region strategic to US interests.
That’s why the LA Times is refusing to release the tape — because seeing Obama cheer on the destruction of Israel would, obviously, damage his campaign.
And the LA Times does not want to do that. So, protect Obama they continue.

Supposedly, the African Press International was to release to Sean and Greta the audiotape of Michelle’s “American White Racist” remarks along with the quid pro quo (invite to Inaugural in exchange for a nice article on Obama).

October 30, 2008 at 7:52 pm
Is it only my opinion, but I believe the Republicans are playing the media on this one. The undecideds must decide the question of Obama (not McCain, he’s already a proven leader), so the Repubs are putting a big ? next to the Obama brand.
The media censoring this when even left wing hollywood types are saying they’re in the tank for Obama make the ? 10 times bigger.
October 30, 2008 at 7:52 pm
I bet the LA Times refused to release the 2003 tape because it would be definitive proof of their bias. I suspect their article earlier this year whitewashed the whole affair anti-semitic affair.
October 30, 2008 at 8:01 pm
scary stuff, this guy getting this close to the presidency
October 30, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Who is Obama giving the finger to in the picture of he and Michelle at the Edward Said dinner?
October 30, 2008 at 8:06 pm
Carl D
That’s a good point.
October 30, 2008 at 8:10 pm
Christ on a cracker, if I had to sit across a dinner table from those two, I’d never eat again! Can they LOOK any more sour???
October 30, 2008 at 8:11 pm
Maybe it is just me, but I tend to let my imagination conjure up the worst. Therefore I find letting the American people hear that the LA Times won’t let them see it and decide..they’ll tend to think[like me] that there might be something pretty sinister in there. Perhaps even more sinister than what it actually contains?
Could work to our benefit that it isn’t released. If it were released they could bury it and it would fade away. The refusal makes news of its existence continue and lets one ponder and speculate as to it’s contents…no?
In a semi-related[hopefully not eeoyre-ish] note…if the Wright & Farakan anti-semitic connections aren’t enough for some I doubt anything short of BO himself caught on tape using racial slurs would get through to the majority of the kool-aid drinkers!
October 30, 2008 at 8:18 pm
H&C obtained a copy of Ayer’s 1974 book which he dedicated to Robert Kennedy assasin Sirhan Sirhan. On right now.
October 30, 2008 at 8:18 pm
WILLIAM AYRES DEDICATED HIS BOOK FROM 1979 TO SIRHAN SIRHAN.
HOW WILL THE KENEDEYS EXCUSE THAT?
October 30, 2008 at 8:19 pm
When Barry was attending Columbia, Said was teaching there, a professor of Arab Studies, the most prominent intellectual voice for Palestine in the country, and quite the darling of the left media. I remember, I was living across from frisky Morningside Park, dating a Columbia co-ed, and hanging with the fashionably Bohemian left at the time. There, I’ve dated myself. Said must have been a mentor for Barry. Fascinating. Maybe we might have met at that bar on 110th and Broadway. I’ll have to think..
October 30, 2008 at 8:22 pm
Yes, I want to see how the Obama campaign or Caroline will spin this.
October 30, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Obama has so many skeleton’s in his closet, if he is elected we can’t even imagine what else is coming out of the closet. I don’t know what is wrong with people in this country, you want change, but from a man who is lying to you and the biggest JUDAS living on the face of this earth, you will all see if it happens.
October 30, 2008 at 8:26 pm
Colmes just tried to excuse it…
extremely pathetic attempt at that.
You could tell he was flustered by the book dedication and wanted to sweep that fact under the rug
“its 5 days from the election”
blah,blah,blah
October 30, 2008 at 8:28 pm
We CAN get that tape but it will take us all. . .
I don’t know if there’s anything on that tape or not. I do know that we have a RIGHT to find out. Since the LA Times refuses to release it, we have little option but to force them to do so.
If you live in LA or subscribe to the LA Times, I strongly encourage you to:
a.) Cancel you subscription — TODAY!
b.) Make sure the newspaper knows why you cancelled.
c.) Grab a copy of the paper and make sure that their advertisers, especially the big ones, know that you’ve cancelled and why.
d.) Make sure the newspaper knows you’re talking to their advertisers.
e.) If you can spare some time, picket/protest the LA Times offices.
f.) Encourage your friends, neighbors, coworkers, family, etc. to do the same.
g.) Copy this message to every BLOG you visit.
If we hit them hard enough on their bottom line, they WILL release the tape.

Obamabot sends child to take McCain Palin sign
October 30, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Did you see the rainbow like symbol on the front of the book. Hmmmm looks like Obama’s campaign symbol.
October 30, 2008 at 8:31 pm
Captain America, there is no African Press International tape. It’s a hoax (though a darn amusing one to watch unfold). Let that one go.
October 30, 2008 at 8:31 pm
Boy shocked after man powers up campaign sign
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Shawn Turschak of Chapel Hill was tired of someone stealing McCain-Palin campaign signs from his yard. Turschak, with a degree in electrical engineering, hooked up a third sign to a power source for an electric pet fence Monday and also put up a surveillance camera.
The News & Observer of Raleigh reported that a 9-year-old boy with an Obama-Biden sign grabbed the McCain-Palin sign and got a jolt on Tuesday.
The boy’s father, Andrew Noble, upset that his son had been shocked, showed up at Turschak’s door. Soon an Orange County sheriff’s deputy also showed up at the Turschak’s home.
Noble said his son just wanted to see how the sign was put together. Turschak said the boy intended to swap out the signs.
Sheriff Lindy Pendergrass said he doesn’t plan to file charges.

They just announced that in Ayers book in 1974, he dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan, the man who in 1968 assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. Wow! The Kennedy’s just endorsed someone who is endosred by someone that murdered their brother and relative.
October 30, 2008 at 8:34 pm
Hannity just announced that Ayers in 1974 memoir dedicated a book to Sirhan Sirhan, the man who was convicted of killing Robert F. Kennedy. How in the world can anybody associate with a man who wants to kill someone who ran for president and served with JFK? Kennedys are am embarrassment for not checking this guy.
October 30, 2008 at 8:37 pm
I cannot believe the LA Times is doing this…Come on now, this man is running for the Presidency of the United States, the highest office in the land. And proof that he is anti-Semite/anti-Israelite is being withheld? Suppression of the facts…Christ, we might just become a socialist country without Obama!
Our alliance with Israel is so multi-faceted in its importance. First of all, we share the same values and principles through our dominant Abrahamic religions and our commitment to democracy and civic duty. In a strategic sense, Israel is also good because it is in the Middle East, a very powerful region where we have few friends to begin with.
And Obama wants to do away with all that…God help us. It’s a good thing John McCain is going to win.
October 30, 2008 at 8:37 pm
The newspapers are dying. Their last chance for survival is to score a gig as part of Obama’s TASS.
If the LA Times releases the tape, and O wins, the Times gets punished by O;
If they release the tape, and O loses, the Times gets blamed & punished by O supporters, but we don’t help them;
If they hold the tape and O wins, the Times get rewarded by O;
If they hold the tape and O loses; we not gonna rescue them from oblivion.
Logic dictates that the Times hold onto the tape.
October 30, 2008 at 8:39 pm
no video, but it’s fun seeing Alan freak out with the other stuff….
October 30, 2008 at 8:40 pm
Sorry to be a negative nelly, but sane people don’t doubt that Ayers is a bad guy. He bombed the Pentagon and Capitol for cryin’ out loud. The question in voters’ minds is whats the connection with Obama. The media has spent the last month running interference for Obama, so the conventional wisdom is that there is none. This story doesn’t change that. The babysitter story would have. We need the LA Times tape – thats the direct connection to Obama. Unless Khalidi says on this upcoming video “My buddy Barack and I were in Iran last week cheering for the end of Israel,” then maybe. But showing Khalidi to be another university radical is nothing new. We need the tangible evidence of the connection to Obama that we can show voters
October 30, 2008 at 8:42 pm
What do you think the reaction from the Kennedy’s will be? Didn’t Teddy love RFK more than anyone in his life? I wonder how soon the Kennedy’s will know about this. Will they respond?
October 30, 2008 at 8:42 pm
If Colmes and his ilk had one iota of integrity the LAT tape would be released and all the digging on Obama would have been done, and done well, before the primary was over!
It sickens me that the MSM will lie, cheat and cover for Obama right till the end
October 30, 2008 at 8:45 pm
If Barack had been born 75 years earlier they’d have pictures of him at an Al Capone dinner. Is there any sleaze bag in Chicago this guy hasn’t toasted or dined with?

** BREAKING BREAKING – Bill Ayers dedicated his 1974 book Prairie Field to Sirhan Sirhan, the murderer that assassinated DEMOCRATIC POTUS John F. Kennedy.
Please spread the word!
October 30, 2008 at 8:54 pm
Gary Weitman responded to an email I sent him calling on the LA Times to release the tape, and all he could say was “I appreciate your concerns but please the Times’ article about this issue…” blah blah blah
I immediately sent my response, saying, “I don’t care about a newspaper’s sources. I care about this country.”
October 30, 2008 at 8:55 pm
Remember how Obama’s people accused Hillary of wishing for an assassination. Obama is palling around with a guy who dedicated his book to one.
October 30, 2008 at 8:59 pm
Allan Colmes knows Obama is a fraud, he is just pretending to love Obama for party unity. As far as the Ayers book, its DAMNING, VERY DAMNING, the fact that Obama is buddies with a guy who dedicated his book to Sirhan Sirhan, the guy that killed JFK. I wonder how Caroline and Teddy will react to that one
October 30, 2008 at 9:01 pm
It was the LA Times who sued for the release of the Ryans’ divorce record during Obama’s senate campaign. They said the public had a compelling interest so their excuses about “agreements” don’t wash. The Ryans’ both wanted the divorce records kept closed, but the Times said otherwise.
AND NOW THEY WON’T RELEASE A TAPE ON OBAMA
Congrats HillBuzz, Rush gave you prime time.
Go PUMAS
McCain/Palin
October 30, 2008 at 9:05 pm
Sorry all, I meant Robert F. Kennedy.
October 30, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Sirhan Sirhan killed Robert Kennedy.
Lee Harvey Oswalt killed John F. Kennedy.
October 30, 2008 at 9:08 pm

Take your Eyeore crap elsewhere.

CBS/NYT poll today has Obama ahead by 11 pts 52-41…just a dose of reality.
Sampling was 533 Dems and 433 Rep
October 30, 2008 at 9:15 pm
This article lies. No one is claiming that Obama said anything anti-semantic. The most damaging thing the LA Times article mentioned was that Obama toasted Khalidi. But that is hardly controversial when you consider that a group McCain chairs funded Khalidi a half million dollars.
Aside from McCain being tied to Khalidi also, that article was written 6 months ago about a dinner that happened 5 years ago. But the McCain campaign is only bringing it up now! A desperate attempt at manufacturing an October surprise because the only real October surprises are the strategic blunders the McCain campaign keeps making.
I do understand that desperation is the only thing left but it is sad to see McCain morphing into Limbaugh.
You’re all desperate. Ayers is a non-story. McCain has associations he regrets. Palin’s church had incidents of anti-Semitism. Compared to the wars, debt and economic disasters the Republicans have burdened us with. Pffffttt.
October 30, 2008 at 9:16 pm
My bad, wrong president, either way its bad, I wonder what the Kennedy’s feel about this, of course other then Fox News this won’t be reported, why, because CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, and ABC are in the tank for the Big Fraud
October 30, 2008 at 9:17 pm
#18 ObamaNo, I’ve seen comments in the past alluding to the close similarity of the drawing on the front of Ayers book and Obama’s logo. It’s downright eerie and I’d love to know the symbolism of that ‘mark’.
I dashed a quick email off to Sean as soon as I saw the book to point it out to him and ask him to talk about in on air. Guess he didn’t get it :~((
October 30, 2008 at 9:18 pm
Wondered about Obama’s outfit in this photo, too. Sure doesn’t look like a traditional suit. Maybe one of those Mao-type suits.

October 30, 2008 at 9:26 pm
Obama wrote a review of one of Ayers’ books. But I guess he’s too, well, gosh dang, too BONEHEADED to know that another Ayers book was dedicated to the jihadist who assassinated RFK.
October 30, 2008 at 9:26 pm
Bryn,
I want McCain to win. I think he still can (though I don’t think he’ll take Iowa or Maine as some here suggested). I know as well about Obama’s relationship with the whole list – Ayers, Khalidi, Wright, Pfleger, etc. A normal person who was ashamed of Ayers’ actions would have wanted nothing to do with Ayers after learning who he was. Obama didn’t think so. There’s no way on earth he could have sat in Trinity 2-4 times a month and never hear Wright’s comments.
But in the relatively uninformed populace, they’ve been listening to the media go on for a month using Obama talking points in “fact checks” on the Ayers claim. So they think its a GOP exaggeration. Also, a campaign aide announced before the Ayers story hit that they were going to focus on Obama’s associations rather than the economy (they’ve had a tendency of announcing beforehand what their next move will be, giving Obama time to respond). It was a dumb move to broadcast that, and the Obama campaign did a good job of making people think that it all really was just a distraction.
So what I’m trying to say, is we don’t need yet another book by Ayers full of Marxist/Communist rhetoric. We need to make clear to everyone what the connection is between Obama and these people, and we have to go over the heads of the media to do this. That’s why the LAT video is so important, especially if he really does say what he’s been reported as saying

Rebecca and Keith must be the new shift. There, I mentioned your names. Go collect your cash from team O-Ayers :)

October 30, 2008 at 9:35 pm
Hi everyone, I really enjoy this site. I’m a Republican and truly admire all the work you PUMAs have been doing. Thank you for putting country before party.
There’s a blog on Kos that is supposedly written by Obama. Can y’all check into this and see if it’s real?
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/9/30/102745/165
In it, he says: “According to the storyline that drives many advocacy groups and Democratic activists – a storyline often reflected in comments on this blog – we are up against a sharply partisan, radically conservative, take-no-prisoners Republican party. They have beaten us twice by energizing their base with red meat rhetoric and single-minded devotion and discipline to their agenda. In order to beat them, it is necessary for Democrats to get some backbone, give as good as they get, brook no compromise, drive out Democrats who are interested in “appeasing” the right wing, and enforce a more clearly progressive agenda.”
This is divisive rhetoric, plain and simple, essentially saying squash moderate POVs. Was he really the one who wrote it though? Hoping ya’ll can find that out.
October 30, 2008 at 9:36 pm
I had to read a book by Edward Said in college. Biggest pile of shit I’ve ever read–just a bunch of whining about how the American media didn’t properly sympathize with the Iranian hostage-takers and Islamic radicals back in the 1970’s. Yet another ranting, stone-throwing terrorist who not surprisingly was friends with Obama.
October 30, 2008 at 9:36 pm
Geeze, there’s that creepy picture again.
That thing is like a bad nightmare that keeps coming back!
Just got in and out of the loop-seems alot has been going on-gosh, you turn around twice and there’s a new round of goings on!
Will be so glad when this guy is NOT in office, of any kind.
McCain/Palin, now there’s white house material!
October 30, 2008 at 9:37 pm
Wow, the trolls are out and I’m feeling good! The angrier people like rebecca and keith get, the worse Obama is doing.

OBAMA WROTE A REALLY NICE REVIEW OF A BILL AYERS BOOK
THEY ALL LIVED WITH 3 BLOCKS OF EACH OTHER
WHAT OTHER PROOF DO WE NEED THAT THESE GUYS(THUGS) WHERE BEST OF FRIENDS

I just found this website this week and as a Republican I would much rather Hillary be President than Obama. I am not ready for Socialism.

October 30, 2008 at 10:00 pm
We need that LATimes tape for this association to have its intended impact. The fact that they are resisting release of it, shows what is on it is damning. The problem with Ayers association is that there are no pictures or videos of Obama with Ayers side by side saying questionable things. Wright had the most impact when those videos came out but the MSM negated the worst of its effect by protecting Obama. If we don’t defeat Obama, it will be triumph for this corrupt media and that is dangerous for a democracy. Let us not forget that same media gave us Bush in 2000, Iraq war, and now, the Dem Bush, Obama. Let us not let them get away with it this time. I know lot of Republicans read this blog. Get out and vote against Obama. That is the only way we can reclaim democracy.
October 30, 2008 at 10:02 pm
Linda,
“we” don’t need any convincing. We know this already. I’m just saying something like the LAT video would go a long way in convincing everyone else – particularly the undecideds. That’s all.
October 30, 2008 at 10:23 pm
I look at this photo and feel bad for Barack Hussein Obama. He opens his eyes in the morning and sees that on the pillow next to his. Poor guy. No wonder he hangs with bomb throwers.
October 30, 2008 at 10:25 pm
It’s as if the American people have been given a time out – there’s more junk on this guy than animals in Noah’s ark.
I can only imagine what other tricks are up obama’s sleeve – Lord have mercy on 11/4!
Where the FBI, CIA, 007 when you need them?
October 30, 2008 at 10:41 pm
“DO THE MATH REBECCA. Correcting for the oversampling of Dems by 23% puts MCain at 51; DEAD EVEN with Obama.
Just a dose of MATHEMATICAL reality.”
The weighted breakdown for that CBS/NYT poll was 37% Dems, 33% Indys, and 30 Rep’s.
October 30, 2008 at 10:43 pm
Here are the DIRECT numbers to the journalist at the LA Times witholding the 2003 video of Obama/Ayers/Kahlidi. You can call him directly and demand he release the tape!
Office: 202-824-8376
Cell: 202-441-1940
His name is Peter Walsten. This man is a disgrace to journalism. I’ll take it a step further and say he is a disgrace as an American. This tape could easily bury Obama…
October 30, 2008 at 11:21 pm
Past behavior predicts future behavior. All these polling organizations have always overestimated how well Obama would do in past contests. They consistently ignore how undecideds really are non Obama voters.
Having said this Rebbecca, don’t panic. Obama has every advantage under the sun, there is no way a democrat could lose this time around.
In fact if Obama loses it will be the biggest political defeat in the history of the country. It will be the end of his career, the end of the movement he led, the end of all your hopes and dreams. The Clinton dynasty will survive and prosper long after we are all gone.
So you just relax and believe in those polls Rebecca. Don’t worry Rebecca, don’t panic. Sweetie.

LOL. What a dumb statement to make. Let’s see… What is 533 divided by 966? About 55%. And what is 433 divided by 966? About 44%. Hmmm, that is about an 11 point margin. Whoa! Big surprise then. Yes, that reality would be straight-forward math and evidence that they pay a pollster too much money (anything greater than 0) to publish stupid polls.

Who Is Barack Obama?? [[And would he even qualify for an FBI security clearance if he were to apply for a routine federal government job??]]
Now that we know every possible detail of Joe the Plumber, maybe it’s time to reflect on the aspects of Obama’s personal and private live that continue to be sheilded from the public, with the assistance of the main-stream media.
Many people are under the mistaken belief that Presidential candidates have gone through an FBI check or some other verification of their background prior to the election process. That is not the case.
The “vetting” is done solely by the electorate, and so far the voters have received only minimal information on Obama, his financial backers, and formative years.
Would OBAMA even qualify for an FBI security clearance if he were to apply for a routine government job (as opposed to running for President)? Now that would be a very interesting story for the media to report. Much more relevant than Joe the Plumber’s tax bill.
Putting aside documents showing his ties to Ayers, ACORN, Frank Marshall Davis (his communist mentor), etc., here are some examples of the information Obama continues to withhold:
* Obama has released just one brief document detailing his personal health. McCain, on the other hands, released what he said was his complete medical file totaling more than 1500 pages. After criticism on the matter, last week the Obama campaign also released some routine lab-test results and electrocardiograms for Obama. All test results appeared normal, but many details about his health remain a mystery.
* Obama has refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois, and has been unable to produce correspondence, such as letters from lobbyists and other correspondence from his days in the Illinois state senate. There are also no appointment calendars available of his official activities. “It could have been thrown out,” Obama said while on the campaign trail during the Democratic primary. “I haven’t been in the state Senate now for quite some time.”
* Obama has not released his client list as an attorney or his billing records. Obama has maintained that he only performed a few hours of legal work for a nonprofit organization with ties to Tony Rezko, the Chicago businessman convicted of fraud in June. But he has not released billing records that would prove this assertion.
* Obama won’t release his college records from Occidental College where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia.
* Obama’s campaign refuses to give Columbia University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in political science, permission to release his transcripts. Such transcripts would list the courses Obama took, and his grades. President George W. Bush, and presidential contenders Al Gore and John Kerry, all released their college transcripts. (McCain has refused to release his Naval Academy transcript.)
* Obama’s college dissertation has simply disappeared from Columbia Universities archives. In July, in response to a flurry of requests to review Obama’s senior thesis at the Ivy League school, reportedly titled “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt told NBC News “We do not have a copy of the course paper you requested and neither does Columbia University.”
* The senator has not agreed to the release of his application to the Illinois state bar, which would clear up intermittent allegations that his application to the bar may have been inaccurate.
* Jim Geraghty of the National Review has written extensively about Obama’s unwillingness to release records related to clients he represented while he was an attorney with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill, and Gallard. Obama was required to list his clients during his years in the Illinois senate. “Obama listed every client of the firm,” Geraghty reported, making it impossible to discern which clients he represented.
* Obama has never released records from his time at Harvard Law School.
* Obama also has not disclosed the names of small donors giving $200 or less to his campaign. An exception to the finance-reporting laws exempts the campaign from reporting those who donate less than $200, but that law never envisioned the more than $300 million that has been raised by Obama in small amounts. The Republican National Committee has released its small donors, as well as McCain’s, on a public database.

CBS radio was raving about the CBS/NYT poll saying Obama still has a double digit lead.
The network of Rather/Mapes, teaming up with the newspaper of smears and editorials on the front page. Not credible.

Upon further review- do you think Barack is giving his better half the finger? It looks similar to the “finger” he gave Hillary at that speech during the primaries.

Re: #55 Mary
I’ve read those posts on DK by Obama before. It’s well-known he’s tight with DK — they love and worship him over there. Obama pretends he plays dirty only because he’s forced to by the dirty opposition but his experience with Alice Palmer betrays the fact he’s been ruthless and dirty from the start. The sad reality is that he’s turned his brown-shirted flock into something worse than what they claimed to despise about politics (Karl Rove, who they love/hate). And they’re only post-partisan in the sense that they don’t want any party but their own — Movement Progressives.

As a McCain supporter, I think you’re doing more harm than good by just calling everybody ‘Eyores’. Unless you support Obama, you don’t just live on hope for hope’s sake. When the polls are bad, you worry. Your best postings are those explaining why the polls might be wrong, not those coming down on people for daring to say that they’re bad.

I hope all this is developing a want-to-see vacuum that will ultimately be filled by the Whitey Tape.

It is those editors on a mission that are not only doing a disservice to the nation, but also a disservice to their employees – it is no accident that the LA Times is in the process of laying off more personnel – by now, the tape is an issue, if it were benign, they would have run it – so therefore, any reasonable person would think, must be someething to hide. Consider that they changed their tune (We already covered this, lets check with our lawyers, we’re under no obligation to release the tape, to the final: we are not releasing the tape becuase we are protecting our “source”.) It is no wonder the numbers are shifting (and those polls are skewed, one LA times article this morning is whining about the large number of undecideds at this late date – and, let’s face it, those undecideds are going to McCain – giving him, in all cases, a dead heat or a win in any given state. At this point, Obama has the Dedicated Progressives, and those so-called Independents who are of like mind, the rest of the thinking public? Check all the campaign videos from Thursday on – McCain is fired up and smiling, Obama, is fired up and wiping sweat off his brow – I’m no body language expert, but…for all the hoopla and infomercials – money can’t buy everything – and the American Presidency is no exception – internal polls must be interesting to say the least.

Tinarfh,
My impression of Thursday’s videos was McCain was obviously instructed to feign some more enthusiasm and not look like he was defeated before the election. But he is going way overboard and his overacting is hilarious.

Can someone please tell me why this tape would not be of interest to the media, which is, as we all know, predominately owned and operated by the American Jewish population? Call me crazy, but I just don’t get it.

I still say:
McCain landslide. No Eeyores, just make it happen.
