Just a thought here, from a spiritual reader who asked us this question: “Do you believe God did all this to bring people together?”
There’s a comic book called Watchmen that’s being made into a movie right now. In it, a superhero creates a giant world-consuming threat that makes all adversaries come together for the first time ever, to work side by side to defeat something terrible much bigger than themselves.
People who never in their lives DREAMED they’d work together — teaming up to stop the absolute worst thing any of them could imagine.
In the comic, that was an invasian by space aliens.
In the moment, it’s a socialist becoming president and destroying America as we know it.
And here we are, Republicans and Democrats teaming up, like never before, fighting for America on the same side against the Obama Nation.
We sure as heck never thought we’d be campaigning for a Republican — let alone TWO Republicans we genuinely LIKE.
We put aside so much silly partisan nonsense during the last few months — and we made friends across the aisle we hope will last forever. After this election, we’ll be on different sides of the aisle once more, but we’ll never be enemies again.
We’ll look back on Obama ‘08 as the impetus that forced us all to work together for what’s right for America — so maybe we can accomplish a lot together in the next four years of McCain’s administration.
We aren’t religious around here at HillBuzz. Lapsed Catholics mainly. But, we have to admit, we do feel SOMETHING at work here. Maybe it’s patriotism that’s coursing through all of it. Maybe it’s something spiritual. We know we’re not imagining it though. Because others feel it.
SOMETHING big is happening here. Bipartisanship isn’t just a word that’s tossed around anymore. It’s real.
And to think, none of this would have ever been possible without Obama’s socialist threat on America.

God definitely works in mysterious ways. My question is what happens to this website after the election? I think we should all continue it regardless of who wins. Of course McCain/Palin is going to win. :) Anyway, do you think you all have the energy to keep this site going? Please!!!

Very cool post, Hillbuzz, and I’m really glad you brought this up. I agree that God is at work here. The prayer for the Election Rosary Novena is as follows:
“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the
instruments of His Holy Passion that Thou mayest put division in the camp of Thine
enemies, for as Thy beloved Son hath said, ‘a kingdom divided against itself shall
fail.’”.
The first time I meditated on this a couple days ago, I realized that one Hillary Clinton has most definitely had a role here. I firmly believe that she has been God’s instrument in “dividing” those who would bring down America.
To preempt those who mock this idea– we are all free to believe as we choose. That is one of the great things about being an American. And I don’t think that God is a magical wish-granter. But I do think he listens to prayer, and even should Obama win, then I will accept that as His will– and find the good in it. The good that I as an anti-Clinton conservative has found here, for example.

I can honestly say it has been an honor & pleasure to work together with democrats this election. I have made good friends and we have all come to the same conclusion as the article pointed out…..we are all coming together to fight for the future of America. The party lines have certainly blurred this election season. Alot of our discussion have revolved around Hillary Clinton and how most republicans wouldn’t have minded if Hillary had been the nominee & defeated McCain. Either way we would have a President who had the countries best interest at heart.
Obama is one of the most shady politicians we’ve seen EVER. There are whole portions of his life not open to the public, missing, sealed or hidden. He truly scares me with all the Ayers/Wright/Pfleger/Khalidi/Odinga connections. I feel more confident today than I have in a few weeks that McCain & Palin will win this!!
If Hillary every runs again, she has my vote no matter who she runs against! I am loyal to those who help us!
October 28, 2008 at 11:27 pm
You guys are great and I agree that there is something in the air. People just don’t understand how special this country is and that since our inception how much good we have done.
If we can join together and manage to get John McCain elected then we can do anything.
October 28, 2008 at 11:32 pm
I’m SO glad to see this. Gives me so much hope! Not just for this election, but for the future of our country.
And a donation is on the way.
October 28, 2008 at 11:33 pm
I truly believe that God spared John McCain’s life in VietNam because He had a plan for him for the greater good, and this is it. God may have given us John McCain to defeat the anti-Christ. I am not even a particularly religious person, more spiritual, actually. But I do believe in God and I have done more praying in the last month than I have ever done in my life (or probably ever will again). So folks, please pray, pray, pray and get out and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!
October 28, 2008 at 11:37 pm
When it comes to pass that we HAVE stood together to defeat the socialists who are unwittingly trying to bring evil to this great nation, please know that in those moments when we are all feeling relief, wonder and victory, my heart will be embracing oodles of PUMAs I’ve never in met. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
October 28, 2008 at 11:40 pm
Well, being a Christian, I believe everything that happens is God’s will – painful or ecstasy. Good or bad. Republican or Democrat.
Also, I’m not really into the word, “Bipartisanship”. I’m more of an “Americanism” guy. In fact, even though I consider myself a conservative and believe conservatism ideals better our country, I still consider myself an American long before a conservative.
October 28, 2008 at 11:42 pm
I really want to meet you guys! I feel so close to the Hillbuzz/PUMA/DemocratsforMcCain crowd!
October 28, 2008 at 11:49 pm
Hillbuzz,
you have saved my sanity during this election. I am an independent who will be voting Mccain/Palin on Nov. 4th. The Dems really screwed themselves this time around because it will be a long time before people like me ever vote for one of them ever again!
And yes, I do believe that God is at work here. This election has certainly made me realize what I hold dear – and I now thank God every night for the country that I live in. Obama cannot and will not win…mark my words!!!
October 28, 2008 at 11:52 pm
The ultimate irony?
Obama promised to unite the country.
Looks like he’s right!
:D
October 28, 2008 at 11:53 pm
I think what you have said is more profound than anything else that has happened during the primaries and this general election. I do believe God works in mysterious ways. Im not a fan of Bush at all, but I do know that we have not been attacked since 9-11. I think there is a greater reason going on here and I wanted you to know that I stand with you. I have been married for 23 yrs to a U.S.Army soldier-who is still active duty and is looking at his 5th 1 yr tour to Iraq soon. If Obama wins this we are getting out of the military. How could we trust this man who would destroy Hillary so blatantly and call B.Clinton a racist to boot? I think Palin rocks. Shes faced so much in the few weeks she has been in the spotlight and I live for the day soon hopefully that we can put a woman in the whitehouse. I wanted to share with you a youtube video that was sent to me-it backs up what you say. Its from Obamas rally in PA-just after Obama starts putting down Pres.Bush-lightning strikes. You think Obama might be smart enough to take that as a warning, lol?
Enjoy it and I hope I dont offend anyone by posting the link. Go PUMA,Stay strong HC, and ty Dems for McCain. We recognize all of your hard work and dedication and your willingness to reach out across party lines for your country and for a greater cause.Let not the end of the election be the end of true unity in America-together we can solve any crisis and lean on one another to make each other stronger. Obama is the most divisive candidate that I have ever seen.

There is a God and He knows our names!
I don’t know exactly how I ended up on this site but it has been a life line in all this madness – and being the God-fearing Republican that I am – who would have thought? So, this is just icing on my cake – thank you for sharing this and allowing each one us to get a peek at the bigger picture.
God have mercy on America and its people.
Yes, vote and pray!!!!!!
There is a reason we have all felt this urgency to pray and band together.
I consider you all a blessing in this mess!
October 29, 2008 at 12:23 am
There is only one thing I want to say after such a beautiful post
May God please and keep every single one of you and your familes.I will be holding you all in my heart.
I do need to tell you one thing.
Saturday night, I was feeling really really down, so worried about my country and what was going to happen to us. I sat in the tub, crying and praying probably harder than I ever have in my life. about an hour later, I get a text message on my cell phone that said
“God heard your pain and you need to know it is over”
Some may not believe in a higher power but God does exist and God hears our prayers and he knows that true Americans want what is best and want things better for others in the world, so go to bed tonight feeling his arms around you, and you will only see those one set of footprints in the sand because he is indeed carrying us right now
God bless America

In these last frantic days of campaigning, the question I ask is who does Hillary really want you to vote for, deeeep down. For her own sake, she has to remain opaque and represent a uniter for the Democratic Party. So I look to Bill, and I have my answer. And so should everyone who reads and respects this site and the ever true and consistent views represented by the fabulous Hillbuzz.
October 29, 2008 at 12:32 am
I love the PUMAs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have been “praying without ceasing” as the Bible instructs, and our prayers have been answered. Obama = Socialism. NOBAMA.
Thank you PUMAs.

I am a Republican and want to thank you for your site as well. You are doing a great job. I could not believe the nasty treatment that Hillary Clinton got in the primaries by the press, the Obama campaign, and the DNC. All I saw was hypocrisy. If nothing else, this election has been a showcase to see where everyone stands. I am fervently praying for this country.
October 29, 2008 at 1:17 am
I am a gay, socially liberal, fiscally centrist Democrat and used to pride myself on being “yellow dog” in character. Because of all that has transpired this election season, however, I am changed.
Nowadays, I am more apt to listen to people not like me than dismiss them out of hand. I am more likely to seek out solutions than to argue differences. I am less likely to believe a candidate just because he wears the same party label as I and I am more likely to give every candidate the benefit of the doubt.
I have seen kindness expressed by people I had previously stereotyped as bigoted and I have seen hatred expressed by people I’d always thought of as open minded. I have been warmly welcomed into a Republican home for a political event and have Democrats jump down my throat because I’d voiced my opinion. It has all left me with a markedly decreased ability to sit in reflexive judgement of anyone according to political party affiliation.
It seems to me that the Divine changing my mind, making it a little more supple and compassionate. That is change I can believe in.

Excuse the typos. I’m tired.

As Three Wickets asks (post #16), who does Hillary really want to vote for? Whenever she gives a stump speech for Obama, it must sound like fingernails being dragged across a chalk board to all Hillary supporters. A reminder of how Obama stole the primary election. This will hopefully hurt Obama more than it helps him!
Republicans / Hillary Supporters / Independents = TRUE AMERICANS for McCain / Palin

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.
William Cowper
Thank you guys for all your hard work!!!
Thank you for this website.

This is what McCain calls “reaching across the aisle”.
It feels good doesn’t it?
October 29, 2008 at 4:48 am
I hope no one finds this blasphemous. I wrote it to buck up the Obombots who are just starting to sense that they have wandered into a field of land mines, here goes!
Our Mack Daddy
Who art Obama
Hollow is thy suit
Thy VP dumb
Thy prospects glum
in DC as in Chicago
Give us this day our $$$Daley$$$ Bread
And forgive us from trespassing
because only racists trespass against us
and lead us not to a McCain selection
but deliver us from Palin
Amen

As a republican supporting John MCain and Sara Palin, there have been times when I have been very down. I shake my head and wonder how this could be happening to our country. As I look at my two little boys, I wonder what will the future be like for them. It was making me very angry, very sad.
But I found this site by accident one night. And I found myself coming back on a regular basis knowing there would be some good news.
I have always had a strong belief in God and I think God is at work here and I appreciate the thoughts of the other posters.
There is a prayer that was given to me some time ago when there was probably a dark time in my life.
I have incuded it here. It is the Prayer to St. Joseph. I really like this prayer but I also like the history of it.(the last Paragraph) To me it seems appropriate. I’m sorry we are now within the nine day window that is noted. I’m certian St. Joseph won’t mind given the nature of this battle.
Thanks for everything you folks are doing.
O ST. JOSEPH, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, assist me by thy powerful intercession and obtain for me all spiritual blessings through thy foster Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer thee my thanksgiving and homage.
O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee and Jesus asleep in thine arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for me.
THIS PRAYER WAS FOUND IN THE 5OTH YEAR OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. IN 1505 IT WAS SENT FROM THE POPE TO EMPEROR CHARLES WHEN HE WAS GOING INTO BATTLE. WHOEVER SHALL READ THIS PRAYER OR HEAR IT OR KEEP IT ABOUT THEMSELVES SHALL NEVER DIE A SUDDEN DEATH OR BE DROWNED, NOR SHALL POISON TAKE EFFECT ON THEM—- NEITHER SHALL THEY FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY OR BE BURNED IN ANY FIRE OR BE OVERPOWERED IN BATTLE. SAY FOR NINE MORNINGS FOR ANYTHING YOU DESIRE. IT HAS NEVER BEEN KNOWN TO FAIL, PROVIDED THAT THE REQUEST IS FOR ONE’S SPIRITUAL BENEFIT OR FOR THOSE WHOM WE ARE PRAYING FOR.
October 29, 2008 at 8:10 am
I do believe that God is working through this. Why? Because people are asking him to through prayer. If you look back at history and in the Bible, nothing moves people more toward God than a “crisis”.
As someone who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I have seen how God has moved through this site. As one person noted through their comments, I have also seen things out of people that I never thought I would see through out this election.
I have to say that as a born again Christian that I have never more realized how much hope Jesus Christ has given me. Even though I get discouraged and worried about the state of affairs our nation is in, when I get still and quiet and ask God to restore the peace that passes understanding, then he shows up and gives me rest and lets me know he will take care of his children.
I have also been encouraged through you guys here at hillbuzz….even though we don’t see eye to eye on all things. I appreciate you, your hard work and diligence! I pray that you too will not be just “lapsed Catholics”…seems to me that God is drawing you back to Him through this also.
God Bless America Again, please!
October 29, 2008 at 8:10 am
I am a Christian, too, and have been praying fervently about this election. Reading your postings and talking to other Christians, I do believe that God is doing something great here. He has brought us all together to fight the evil that is imminent with an Obama Presidency. Who would have ever imagined Hillary Democrats and Republicans happily working hard together to save the country?
God Bless You Hillbuzz!
October 29, 2008 at 8:15 am
It is in fact a momentus occasion , Democrats , Republicans and Conservatives working together in a non partisan way to insure the advent of sound government .
God surely does work in mysterious ways , now if only God will finish this job and cause the hand of America to elect an ex Navy man ,and a Hockey Mom , I think we are gonna be alright .
Let us Pray …..
October 29, 2008 at 8:23 am
I also am a Christian who does NOT believe everything that happens on earth is God’s will. Far from it. There is some pretty serious evil going down on this planet that grieves the heart of a loving God more than words can express. Although Obama doesn’t think so, evil does exist and life is a battle between good and evil. We are all created with the freedom of choice and we live with the consequences at times.
If everything that happened was automatically God’s will why Did Jesus teach us to pray “They will be done on earth as it is in heaven?”
But the Lord, the Angels and the Holy Spirit are moved on our behalf through the action of prayer. God does have a plan for each of our lives and certainly for America. He gives us a free will and we have two profoundly opposite choices to lead our nation for the next 8 years. We choose our lot in this election as we do in all our choices.
I believe God uses every terrible event, all the good and all the bad to bring us all to a beter place if we make right choices. He uses everything to help us, mature us, to stretch our faith but that doesn’t mean he wanted the terrible event to happen in the first place. He will use it for good anyway.
I believe with all my heart God is using the terrible threat of this very bad candidate to draw us together, to heal the wounds of the past, and to move forward united and determined to do what’s best for the precious people of the United States of America.
God bless this country and God help bring John Mccain and Sarah Palin to victory!!!
October 29, 2008 at 8:29 am
Thank you for all of your work on behalf of America.
I have been reading some history, and I beleive we are on the cusp of a major change or morphing of the Democrat party, and probably the Republican party as well.
Both parties have been leaning left and the Democrat party has abosrbed influences that are so far left they are actually anti-American. President Bush promoted a lot of very liberal policies, including No Child Left Behind, foreign aid to Africa to help with the AIDS problems.
A few members of the Democrat party then went further left, suggesting we “socialize” the oil industry, the recent bail-out is a definite socialist action. It is alarming a lot of Democrats. Obama is definitely a marxist and is a threat to our Constitution. He said that the Constitution is flawed for ignoring wealth redistribution and that it needs to be corrected. We all need to be alarmed by that.
A similar thing happened in the early 1800’s. A party called Republican (not an early incarnation of the current Republican party) was so successful, that so many of the Federalists switched sides that we were reduced to one party briefly. The Federalist party never became anti-American, it was just too conservative to change with the times. The one-party system lasted about two presidential terms. Then differences among the approaches to then current problems eventually caused the party to split into two separate parties again.
The checks and balances created by the two-party system have been very successful in preventing the U.S. from imploding or exploding, but the parties must be permitted to morph and evolve within the society.
If the Democrat party is unable to purge the Marxist leadership of Obama, Pelosi and Franks, it will wither and be marginalized pretty much like the current socialist/communist party.
In that case, we can expect a brief period of a one-party system which will eventualy spawn two strong parties that are both strongly American and promote liberty, justice and equal opportunity, with one being truly liberal…not radical, and the other more conservative. This type of system is best, it prevents change that is so rapid that it does great damage, and prevents the equally dangerous failure to change to meet new challenges with new ideas.
I guess the bottom line is that marxism and socialism are now old ideas and proven failures everywhere they have been implemented. The “liberal” party must be a party of new ideas and right now, the conservative Republicans are the ones with new ideas…that is an oxymoron. Maybe the Republican party will become the new liberal party and a new party of more conservative principles will arise.
But we must all unite to avert the rise of marxism which would destroy our economy and our Constitution and the economies of all of the nations in the world that depend on us. We can sort out minor differences later.
Best regards to all,
Gail S

btintaos You really blew my mind. I wish I could put my arms around you. As a Christian Coservative I am portrayed by the media (I think to control gay votes!) as a gay bashing bigot which breaks my heart. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only do I love you and want you to have a wonderful life and to know the Love of God and every blessing, GOD LOVES YOU EVEN MORE. That may not surprise you that God loves you but it may surprise you that I know that because again of how we have been portrayed. It is so unfair.
The last socially tolerable persecution in my opinion, being both, is of women and Christians.
btintaos You really touched my heart.

When we operate out of a goodness and positive intent we draw the same to us. When people choose to operate with an ill-intent, the same will be drawn to them.
Together our cause reflects a group of people who unite of behalf of what is good in our country. We unite to protect that which reminds us of how blessed we are to live in this country. Together we say “NO” to manipulation, intimidation, shame, deceit and corruption. Wherever each of us stands spiritually, let us always remember that a goodness out will be a goodness back.
October 29, 2008 at 8:42 am
So this morning I was taking my daughter to (Catholic) school and she asked about the election (she’s in kindergarten). I wanted her to be able to understand it better, so I used comic book character metaphors to explain who I was voting for (she loves comics!):
“Well, honey, you like HawkGirl, right? Well, on the DC side, you had HawkGirl running, a strong, smart woman. And on the Marvel side, it looked like it was going to be Professor Xavier, who may be old, but is a good man. So mommy went to the primaries and voted for HawkGirl, and she was so proud to vote for her! (and here I start tearing up!)
But then the Joker decided HE wanted to win, and he shocked HawkGirl by playing lots of tricks and cheating, and now HE’S the nominee for DC comics. And HawkGirl is gone (and now I’m starting to cry! geek that I am!). So it’s the Joker vs. Professor X in this election, and because the Joker lies and cheats, it looks like he might even win.”
We were both very sad. But then she reminded me that even if you lie and cheat and steal to win, it doesn’t matter, because God is there and He is watching over us all.

Mary Beth, you’ve got that right!
The McCain/Palin slogan says it all — COUNTRY FIRST!
October 29, 2008 at 9:37 am
I’m glad to have stumbled onto this site. As I’ve said many times, my Democrat friends are, politically, my opponents, not my enemies. This year, the Obamabots have changed my mind, what with their jackbooted tactics of trying to ruin American citizens who simply ask questions. At that point, I realized that some Americans WERE my enemies.
Look, I’ve never treated politics as a religion, figuring that people have the right to think what they want. Hopefully, regardless of how this election turns out, the idea of Country First will finally triumphed over the party uber alles mentality that I’ve seen too much of on both sides.
Keep up the good work here at HillBuzz. While I probably disagree on many issues, I know that we’ve got a lot in common, especially love of country.

Hey Gang – urging everyone to band together during the 30min time slot of mindless chatter scheduled to air tonight -
‘TURN YOU TVs OFF’!
Do anything but watch this dribble.
Pray, blog, make calls for the McCain/Palin ticket, pray, pray, pray!
Thank you all for joining forces-the heavens will be bombarded with prayer tonight – let one of those be yours!
We are proud Americans and we will fight for the America we love!
God Bless Each and Every One of You!!

The democrat party is now the “Obama Party”. Those who wish to leave the Barry Boat were asked to walk the plank back in June. It is good to see the Hillary groups fighting for the party of goodness against the Obamanation crowd. You have allies in the McCain-Palin camp. Together we can send the Barry Boat to the bottom of the political sea. I can actually see some of the best pirates on the Captain McCain Battleship being the Pumas manning the cannons!! Lets finish this week of campaigning with a loud “BROADSIDE!!!!” attack and take this election from the jaws of the Obamacons!!!
October 29, 2008 at 10:38 am
Hillbuzz — I stumbled on your site somehow and I absolutely love you guys! I come to your site every day for a positive boost on the campaign goings-ons and post your site on blogs often. You keep my spirits uplifted and I always feel empowered by your site. It’s no longer about political parties but about Americans fighting for our great Nation and respecting those lives lost to protect it.
God Bless us all, God Bless America and God Bless John McCain and Sarah Palin!
October 29, 2008 at 11:52 am
I have been praying for months that God would not forsake us and would indeed provide leaders who would work for the good of all citizens. I trust that God is indeed using the multiple crisis the world faces to bring us together with common purpose. I am so glad that the goodness of life-long Democrats and life-long Republicans are finally clear and we admit the common patriotism and concerns of our political opponents. The polarization must stop and the only way this will be accomplished is the demands made by constituents of the elected irrespective of party. Only when persons of both parties demand cooperative discussion, deliberation and legislation will we see these divisions heal. I believe those of us who frequent Hillbuzz are on that path. Please continue this blog post election so that we can bounce ideas off one another and work toward the common good which is a strong, united citizenry that compels the elected leaders to function as the constitution demands. May God bless each of you and may God continue to bless our great nation.
October 29, 2008 at 11:54 am
Oh yeah!!! I never lost sight as to who is STILL in charge here. God tells us to get up on the bleechers and off the field. This is His battle and He is not a God of losses. All of this beautiful world must make decisions that serve the whole. Not the “self”. Enron would still be up and running had their greed not blinded them to their obligation to the whole. God gives nobody the right to oppress His children in any way, shape or form. And for all financial institutions that are oppressing the masses, they too, will be next to answer to that higher power.
Looking like you care about others means nothing, for it is the “intention” in your heart that is measured by the heavens. In other words, you can run, but you cannot hide. God will raise those evils done in the dark and raise them to the light for all to see. “Emanate that which you wish to receive”. The cycle of Spirtual Law is always in motion and never changes.
Like the sun that rises each morning, runs full circle throughout the day to return the next morning. The moon rises each evening, runs full circle to return the next evening. And as we are birthed from Spirit we run full circle throug lives only to return back to Spirit. So is it the cycle of our actions and words. All actions…negative or positive that we each choose to send out, will all follow this same cycle and return back to its place of origination.
God Bless our beautiful country. He will grant us the strength to fight and protect it. This is truly a time of Good vs. Evil. May God stand between us and the evils that lurk. May He love guide and protect this country and its people from all that does not serve its highest good. From all that is negative. In all its forms from all people and all places….Amen
May the love of God surround us all.
Love & Great Kindness,
Marin

First of all, I am not a Republican, I am an Independent Conservative.
As the modified saying goes, “I didn’t leave the Republican Part, the Republican Party left me!”
I was quite shocked when Obama stole the nomination from Hillary. Hillary was by far the better candidate, and by all rights should have won. I had long suspected Obama engaged in some underhanded tactics to win the nomination, but I didn’t know the half of it until I started investigating his political strategies. This led me to your website.
Having been a lurker here for the past few months, I must say that my opinion of Hillary supporters has undergone a metamorphosis; one that I never expected.
At first, I wrongly lumped you in with the likes of the Obamites and Ron Paulies; fanatical sycophants and automatons fatuously engaged in an orgy of anti-Americanism and unwarranted Bush bashing.
But, your enthusiasm, dedication, and bi-partisanship has shown us all that you Hillary supporters are much more than that: You are true Americans. You are true Patriots. You are truly an honorable people.
I salute you.
Now, for the love of Hillary, let’s go out there and get some payback on November 4th!

I am not religious but I do believe in the Creator. I think the Bible is a source of wisdom; here is my favorite quote:
“From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. `For in Him we live and move and have our being.’” (Acts 17: 26-28)

I came here by accident, but I’ve stayed by choice. I too, was grieving about our great nation and feeling so alone. I thought I was onr of the few who saw how bleak our future might be. I too, began praying and fasting that God would grant me peace and deliver our country. Coming here has given me such hope…..the desire to put aside our differences in order to fight for what’s right is what has always made our country great. We don’t have to agree on everything, just about what’s important. I too, hope you continue this site after the election because it gives me hope that we can get it “right” the next time around. Let’s not stop working together and let’s continue to petition the Lord on behalf of our beloved nation. Thanks PUMAs…..you have my undying respect and gratitude!

“God bless this country and God help bring John Mccain and Sarah Palin to victory!!!”
#29 you are correct…but only if it’s God’s WILL!

No matter what happens this election, I just want to say thank you to all of you Hillary supporters who have tirelessly worked to help John McCain, and that have reached out to us Republicans. You guys have made a huge difference, and I thank you so much for that.

Well, the drama of today I lay to rest in the hands of the Almighty God – just had to
take another peaceful look at that church as I head to bed prayerful, thankful for friends I have never personally met but who I am proud to share the written word with.
PUMAS – there’s a jewel in your crown for allowing us to gather here, to support and uplift,to vent and voice our opinions.
Your smart,clever,a class act!
May you be blessed many times over,
g’nite!

I have to say this has been an amazing election season. In some ways I think we’ve bridged a divide that I thought could never again be crossed. Thankfully, I’ve been reminded that there’s more that unites us than divides us. I am pro-life, Republican, and a feminist and I am very proud of my country right now. Thank you, hillbuzz for reminding us of what binds us.

I also love this site. Americans working together that believe in God and Country. We will have a lot of American work to do after this election. Our fight is not over. There is corruption every where that needs to be cleaned out. The PUMA’s got this started and now we all need to end it. The phone calls and letters to our representatives and the media can not stop. We need to invest time in making sure they are listening to US. The people who put them there and can take them out. God Bless America. After we win this election the work begins to clean up America and restore the constitution.

I believe God has worked to join the PUMAs and Republicans together to defeat those who would change our land of the free, to the land of the oppressed. We are after all, Under God.
I never thought I’d be voting for a Republican, but I am. Although Republicans were not enthused by McCain as they’re nominee, to Indy’s and Dems he was the one they have always admired for being his own man. No one owns Mac or Palin.
They’re going to win tomorrow with the help of the PUMAs. Those polls are skewered. PUMAs don’t tip their hand to pollsters.
GO PUMAs
