If Obama feels the Constitution is “fundamentally flawed,” how can he take the Oath of Office? And how can we believe him?

Hey, cool, McCain mentioned Obama’s idea that it was a tragedy that the civil rights movement failed to implement spreading the wealth around.

I remain hopeful that by the end of the week, McCain will also mention Obama’s idea that the Constitution is flawed because it’s intended to limit government instead of letting it grow and grow like kudzu.

One thing I don’t get is Senator Clinton’s “supporters’” criticism of Obama as “socialist.” Do you even remember that she wanted to nationalize health care in 1993? On domestic policy Senators Clinton and Obama are not far off. So why the hate?

McCain wants to continue Bush’s tax agenda, and if Hillary were the nominee she would be running against it with a similar plan as Obama’s.

Nah, Hillary’s plan would have been better this time. She learned from the revolt against her original plan.

Personally, I like McCain’s plan since it gives me the freedom to choose exactly what my family needs. The $5k tax credit offsets quite a bit of taxable income ($20k at a 25% effective tax rate). So if my employer gave me a raise equal to what they’re paying for my health care, I’d end up with more money in my pocket.

My hopes for health care is a system that provides better freedom for people, give them incentive to try and push down costs, and has enough of a safety net for those that need it without being too attractive to those that would just rather not pay for care.

    Here’s an answer for you.

The Associated Press fact-checks Barack Obama’s claim, in his speech today, that John McCain’s economic policies don’t differ significantly from President Bush’s, and actually does a pretty good job. The AP notes a number of important areas where McCain’s economic proposals are very different from Bush’s. Personally, I favor Bush’s approach in some instances and McCain’s in others, but it is absurd to deny that many important differences exist.

The Obama campaign defended its claim by emphasizing the word “major:”

The Obama campaign says the key word of Obama’s statement is “major,” and the differences that McCain points to are minor details. …

The Obama campaign dismisses those differences as small and says McCain has the same central economic philosophy as Bush. McCain, for example, supports Bush’s tax cuts and his free-trade policies.

The Obama campaign’s response strikes me as unintentionally revealing in two ways. First, it shows what Obama considers to be his bedrock economic priorities: high taxes and renewed tariff barriers, the Hoover-Roosevelt blunders that needlessly deepened and prolonged the Great Depression.

Second, it shows how far from the mainstream Obama’s own economic policies are. By any normal reckoning, Bush’s and McCain’s economic policies are miles apart. They differ fundamentally on the administration’s $700 billion “rescue” package, on the proper size of the federal government, on corporate income taxes, on restricting the consumption of carbon, on health care policy, and in many other areas. Yet Obama considers these differences minor. There is indeed a perspective from which such disagreements are mere details. That is the far-left perspective of the New Party, of ACORN, of Bill Ayers and his comrades, of Jeremiah Wright, of Barack Obama in his Illinois State Senator days–the far-left perspective that considers the redistribution of wealth to be the first order of business in a new Obama administration.

I think you mean on Stated Domestic Policy. I think it’s fairly clear that Obama is affecting a pose to seem centrist like the Clintons, and that he’s desperate that no one see his mask slip.

Your guy has gone to such effort to not take a real stand on anything that you shouldn’t expect us to trust what he says today.

Also, how come the guy doesn’t have any friends that can campaign for him? No one from K-12, no one from college, no friend’s from his neighborhood… Doesn’t that seem odd to you?

Speaking of tin foil hat territory: Where is the hate here on this site? The posters here are generally very thoughtful, and they are alarmed by the most left-wing presidential candidate in American history. That’s not hate-speech, that’s a perfectly legitimate matter of concern.

Obama isn’t being straight with the American people about his past associations, nor about his true intentions as president, commander in chief, and chief executive of the Government of the United States. Disagree is you must, but that statement isn’t hateful, not in the least.

Wherever could I have gotten the idea that Obama might have shadow policies when, while running as hopey-changey centrist for President, he says “I have never supported reparations” or “I don’t support wealth redistribution” then an interview shows up from 2001 where he laments that the Warren court wasn’t radical enough to create proper “reparative work” and “redistributive change”.

Hey girl. Or Guy. By the way, do you know about this person? By the name of Sarah P? I don’t know about her and I don’t know her. I also don’t know if what she says is true but… Aw, I’m sure you know each other! Here’s what she has to say:

Ok, I want to clear my conscious a little. Hopefully you could make a blog post to help some fellow clinton supporters out.
I work for a campaign and can’t wait for this week to be over.
I was doing it for a job. I was not a fan of any candidate but over time grew to love HRC.
The internal campaign idea is to twist, distort, humiliate and finally dispirit you.
We pay people and organize people to go to all the online sites and “play the part of a clinton or mccain supporter who just switched our support for obama”
We do this to stifle your motivation and to destroy your confidence.
We did this the whole primary and it worked.
Sprinkle in mass vote confusion and it becomes bewildering. Most people lose patience and just give up on their support of a candidate and decide to just block out tv, news, websites, etc.
This surprisingly has had a huge suppressing movement and vote turnout issues.
Next, we infiltrate all the blogs and all the youtube videos and overwhelm the voting, the comments, etc. All to continue this appearance of overwhelming world support.
People makes posts to the effect that the world has “gone mad”
Thats the intention. To make you feel stressed and crazy and feel like the world is ending.
We have also had quite a hand in skewing many many polls, some we couldn’t control as much as we would have liked. But many we have spoiled over. Just enough to make real clear politics look scarey to a mccain supporter. Its worked, alough the goal was to appear 13-15 points ahead.
see, the results have been working. People tend to support a winner, go with the flow, become “sheeple”
The polls are roughly 3-5 points in favor of Barack. Thats due to our inflation of the polls and pulling in the sheeple.
Our donors, are the same people who finance the MSM. Their interests are tied, Barack then tends to come across as teflon. Nothing sticks. And trust, there were meetings with Fox news. The goal was to blunt them as much as possible. Watch Bill Oreilly he has become much more diplomatic and “fair and balanced” and soft. Its because he wants to retain the #1 spot on cable news and to do that he has to have access to the Obama campaign and we worked hard at stringing him a long and keeping him soft for an interview swap. It worked and now he is anticipating more access. So he is playing it still soft.
    This is why nothing sticks.
The operation is massive, the goal is to paint a picture that is that of a winner, regardless of the results.
There is no true inauguration draft or true grant park construction going on. There will be a party, but we are boasting beyond the truth to make it seem like the election is wrapped up.
Our goal is to continue to make you lose your moral. We worked hard at persuasion and paying off and timing and playing the right political numbers to get key republican endorsements to make it seem even more like it was over and the world was coming to an end for you all.
There is a huge staff of people working around the clock, watching every site, blogs, etc. We flood these sites. We have had a goal to overwhelm.
The truth is here. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
I am saying this because I know HRC was better for the country, and now realize this. I was too late by the time I connected to her. To me Barack was just a cool young dude that seemed like a star. I didn’t know him or his policies, but now I understand more than I care to and I realize his interests are more for him, and the DNC and all working like puppets with dean. I always thought a president wanted the better good for the country. The end result I see is everyone dependent on the government, this means more and more people voting for the DNC. This means the future is forever altered. I don’t see this as america, so I am now supporting John Mccain.
Sarah Palin is a huge threat, and our campaign has feared her like you can’t imagine. If it seems unfair how she has been treated, well its because she has had a team working round the clock to make her look like a fool.
this is a big conspiracy and I am so shocked that its not realized.
We released a little blurb the other day that the Obama campaign was already working on reelection and now putting our efforts towards 2012. This was to make it seem like it was above us to continue caring about 2008. Trust me, its a lie. David is very smart, but its a sticky ugly not very truthful kind of intelligence.
Its not over yet, but I think the machine is working. And its a hill to climb.
I will be quitting my post on nov 5th and my vote will be for John Mccain. Fortunately, my position has been a marketing position and I don’t feel I had any part of anything I would feel guilty for. But I look forward to getting out of this as the negativity and environment upsets me.
I wish you all well, and goodluck.
PS my name is not really sarah. but I am a female and I understand your plight.

If this rings a bell to you at all V4O, and if it is true, be sure to clear off and smear the disgusting sludge and grime and putrid sick of your candidate’s campaign somewhere else.

How’s this? I am as liberal as they come. I’m not conservative, like a lot of the lurkers on this blog. But I am a populist, FDR liberal. Barack Obama is no Democrat. And if you were as confident as you say, you wouldn’t be wasting your time on us scary “repub lites”, now would you?
I know all about Hillary’s positions. I know how liberal she is. I know about John McCain. I know about Barack Obama. I am not a fool.
But thanks to people like you, I know EXACTLY who I’m voting for on Nov 4th.
    And news flash:
    It won’t be Barack Obama.
PPS: Don’t be sad, V4B. According to Donna Brazile, you don’t need my vote anyway. Catch ya later.

Whenever I see someone say they were for McCain till he picked Sarah, I’m not stupid. I know its a lie.

I also notice the Obama people hardly ever answer on topic like the Obama poster here. They always need to change the subject because they know Obama is wrong and need to try and get everyone’s attention away from him and attack McCain, Hillary, or whoever.

I will say though I myself have wondered why it seems the country has gone mad. Now I know. Thanks for that.

I know Obama can’t win. The way I see it, Obama is pissing off more and more republicans by all the cheating he is doing and he will end up having even more republicans voting this election.

I have never voted before in my life. This is the first time I have and its all because of Obama. I’ll bet there are plenty more like me out there.

The Obama supporters never answer on topic because they can’t answer it honestly. Obama is not the first pro government, big government, tax and spend, social engineering candidate to come along. Yet, one right after the other comes along and ignores that those that tried before them have done nothing but fail miserably.

Has LBJ’s war on poverty ever been won? Clinton’s expansion of Carters Community Reinvestment act led to the bailout of freddie mac and fannie mae. Carter was the worst of them all. Double digit interest rates, double digit infaltion, unemployment at rates not seen since the great depretion.

If all these ideas were such great ideas then why do we STILL need to do more? Why have not one of these social ills been solved by the goverment since FDR? Why are there still poor people in this country if all these government mandates work so well? IF the liberal agenda was the way to go the problems they claim they are out to conquer would have been solved decades ago. That should tell everyone that these programs do not work.

You can’t believe a word he says He said he wouldn’t raise taxes on anyone making over 250,000, then it was 200,000, now it’s 150,000. But I just read where the Democratic congress is going to raise taxes on nearly everyone.. That is what Dem’s do-tax and spend, tax and spend. Spreading the wealth ,as in taking taxpayers money and giving it to non-taxpayers, as in illegal aliens is just too crazy. The Gov’t does not know better than me how to spend my money. All illegal aliens should be deported immediately and anyone hiring one should have to pay a very large fine. Hurry and build the fence on our Southern border and also watch the Northern border because they will try that too.

The posts are simply inflammatory jargon about the McCain/Palin ticket posted sometimes multiple times.

I’m thrilled that Rush Limbaugh turned half of America on to this site today. I guess the number of “hits” you’ve had has ascended to about 10,000,000 or more today!

Anyway, the biased media has refused to investigate a story that I’ve been trying to get released since December 2005 (…yes, only a few months after Katrina).

NOTE: If you represent a credible news organization, you can contact the Santa Rosa County (Florida) Republican party to validate the following info. They know who I am, but I’m not disclosing it here on this blog. BUT IF YOU WANT TO GET THE REAL SCOOP, CONTACT THEM A.S.A.P. (…and they can be an intermediary to get word to me for validation and hard evidence).

Here is a story you’ve not heard anywhere in the so-called “mainstream media.”

We’ve heard the mantra that white Republicans don’t care anything about “poor black people” …as evidenced by the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Most left-wing liberal (Obama-supporting) Democrats have repeated the mantra that Katrina was the worst domestic blunder by the G.W. Bush administration (right?).

Uhhhh…. no it ain’t (and not by a longshot).

The truth of the matter is: Liberal Democrats in New Orleans (a few in the City Council along with Mayor C. Ray Nagin) in collusion with Barack Obama …have apparently (successfully) worked to suppress, stymie, retard and block any meaningful rebuilding of the Lower Ninth Ward.

Disclaimer: The main City Council member culpable was Cynthia Willard-Lewis (…many of the current City Council members were elected AFTER Katrina). Mayor Nagin’s office has not been responsive to my attempts to elicit his support or to have him give due consideration to my request. So to me, the main entities are the aforementioned Councilwoman and Mayor Nagin’s office.

    So what, you say?

Well, after numerous attempts to get City Hall to acknowledge my intentions (i.e.: to formulate a plan to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward with PRIVATE funds & resources), my efforts were thwarted time-and-time again.

I have verified letters from my U.S. Senator (Mel Martinez, R-FL) who sent a letter to Mayor Nagin and (then) Gov. Kathleen Blanco. …no response.

I also made special arrangements to appear before the bureaucratic (and functionally USELESS) “New Orleans Recovery Committee” chaired by (you guessed it): Cynthia Willard-Lewis.

So what did Councilwoman Willard-Lewis tell me when it was my turn to address her committee (and that was about 3-hours after the meeting started)? When my name was announced, she arose and said “I have to go to the bathroom.” With that, she left the room and didn’t return for 15-20 minutes.

Now note that she is the Chairman of this committee (chartered by the City Council & Mayor) to bring additional ideas for rebuilding efforts to City Hall’s attention. Yet, when she returned (from her “nature call”) she REFUSED to engage me in any meaningful dialogue or conversation. She ended by saying: “Mr. _______,” there is nothing we can do at this point, and you’ll have to present your ideas to Mayor Nagin’s special assistant (Dr. Ed Blakeley) or the City Council.

What??? You mean she’s head of the special committee to gather information on rebuilding, yet she directs me to petition City Hall and bypass the very committee responsible for fact-finding? Gimme a MAJOR break!

Barack Obama visited the Lower Ninth Ward in late 2007 and stated (paraphrase) “…we have to look at reverting back (restoring) to wetlands around New Orleans.”

What wetlands, Senator? Part of the City’s plan was initially to seriously consider transferring lower elevations to wetlands: A suggestion that residents vehemently rejected. And when the residents made their sentiments known, City Hall sought ways to revisit the matter (…but they needed help from Congress).

Enter Barack Obama. He’s been on record (in New Orleans) uttering rhetorical innuendo relating to post-Katrina circumstances. After gaining front-runner status, he made the aforementioned statement which emboldened Mayor Nagin (and some City Council members) to do whatever it took to let the Lower Ninth Ward remain in widespread ruin …while Obama and his cronies strategically delayed recovery until after the 2008 election.

Yes, let post-Katrina Lower Ninth Ward slap George W. Bush “upside the head” so the world could see his national disgrace and failure …until “Barack comes to the rescue” (i.e.: until after the 2008 election).

Strategically, how could Obama and the Democrat party (who, by the way, threw Hillary under the bus) lose? I mean, if Obama wins… Congress dishes out millions of $$$ for those “poor black people in the Lower Ninth Ward that Bush, McCain and Republicans don’t care about. And if the unthinkable (i.e.: from Obama-supporters’ perspective) happens and John McCain wins, Congress could still stonewall and delay appropriation for the Lower Ninth Ward.

How can I believe that such an insidious scheme has been developed? Well, during my visit with the “NOLA Recovery Committee” (in Sep ‘07), Cynthia Willard-Lewis (in her dialogue with a speaker that preceded me) announced that Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) assured her that multi-millions of $$$ will pour into New Orleans after the 2008 election.

Interestingly enough, CNN (Reporter: John King) was present on December 15, 2005 during my second appearance before the City Council. He and I had a short conversation (about 10 minutes) and I mentioned to him that I was waiting to address the City Council about an idea to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward. Unfortunately, this did not pique his curiosity enough to investigate or obtain footage.

Barack Obama has already mentioned Mayor C. Ray Nagin as a leading candidate for Director of F.E.M.A. And to show how confident Nagin is these days, when asked by ABC News “why have recovery efforts been so slow for the city government while private agencies (churches, Habitat for Humanity, etc.) have far outpaced their efforts?” To this Nagin replied (paraphrase): “Sometimes government bureaucracy is a good thing.”

Barack Obama’s “Change We Can Believe In” is “bait & switch deal” that Americans would regret (should he be elected). If you want an idea of how his rhetoric and mantra have come across, take a look at the Twilight Zone episode titled: “To Serve Man.” Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WudBfRa0ETw

Hopefully, America will wake up to see the true colors of Barack Obama before the election!

I am a long time conservative. My boss is a long time Liberal of the best sort. Who actually practices what he believes. We discuss politics very little but after watching this election process and all the misinformation, the hiding of information and the revising of information. We have both come to agree that the Best Democrat on the Ballot is a Republican. We are both voting for McCain.

    All,

I am a conservative and came across your website because it was referred to by a conversative radio commentator (won’t mention him). Anyway. I’ve read every single comment here and I must say that I’m pretty surprised by it all. If any of what “Sarah” stated is true it really worries me as an American. That sounds like something from the book 1984. It should scare anyone. Here I thought if Sen Clinton lost the nomination that America wouldn’t really elect an extreme lefty like Obama especially with his shaddy past and therefore a Republican would be elected (though I thought McCain was too moderate). Well here I am now wishing that Clinton won the nomination (and I was a huge Clinton critic for 8yrs!!) for the sake of capitalism, free markets, global trade and the protection of private property. Under an Obama presidency, with the help of what will may be a very liberal Congress I really do believe America’s dedication to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness will be dramatically changed…and it won’t be the change we need!

Thanks for listening to a conservative and apologies for the length here.

    Jeff

I must start off by saying that I am a conservative. After reading the posts on this site I am encouraged about Election Day. Deep down I knew there had to be resentment for the way Hillary was treated during the primaries. It’s good to see that there Democrats that are just as frightened about an Obama presidency as I am. And no, this does not make me a racist. Hopefully we can all band together to elect McCain and then let him and Hillary square off in 2012. God Bless America.

In America’s development and aid work in the third world, Americans are always upset that property rights are not respected and upheld. Well, guess what?

Redistributing wealth means that you are not protecting the right to private property. PERIOD.

When we start letting the government rush in, it hurts all of us, not just the wealthy. Homes in Barack’s neighborhood sell at 5-6 times the price of homes in my neighborhood (!), but people in my neighborhood want to have their right to private property protected just as much as the people in Barack’s.

Obama claims he will only “take money” from those awful rich people, like the ones who live in his neighborhood. Unfortunately, he ignores the fact that those people are the only ones who can afford to hire the rest of us. It’s “cutting off your nose to spite your face.” This is not a time for Americans to hate one another.

    He also ignores history.

In the communist countries, the communist parties started to tell people what to do with their property. Guess what happened? The Communist Party gave it to their friends and supporters. This actually happened to people I know who immigrated here from countries that used to be Communist or Socialist.

Sounds a lot like all of Fannie Mae’s contributions to Barack Obama. They all spread money around among their powerful friends, didn’t they? And wasn’t the head of Fannie in charge of his VP search at one point? Oh, by the way, he never did reform that one, did he?

Good evening, everyone. I am a conservative woman who has had a very liberal woman as her best friend for 25 years. We partied at Prom together, she was my Maid of Honor, we saw a movie together last week.

Anyway, we differ on every major political issue and always have. She has her reasons and I have mine, and there is mutual respect for those points of views and reasons. There is, however, one political point of view on which we do not differ: We love this country.

It wasn’t until the height of this incomprehensible, pro-Obama hysteria a couple of months ago that I came to the realization of a current political truism here in America: There is a colossal difference between a committed Liberal like my friend and militant Marxist like an Obama sycophant. I don’t fear Liberals like my friend, although I don’t agree with their views. But I truly, deeply am chilled to the core of my being by these militant Stalinist-Marxists like the Obama supporters.

Like I read in a previous comment, my faith in the Democratic Party is restored if all of these sentiments on this site are true. I hope you guys and ladies get your Party back after this election because loyal opposition by Liberals who love this country as much as we Conservatives do is welcomed. The free political discussion is what makes the USA unique and great, and I don’t ever want a President who doesn’t value that debate and the art of compromise between those two political points of view to run any part of this government. Ever.

I pray that you’re right that there are not as many Obamabots as is being reported and that Mr. McCain (who is NOT this or many, many other Conservative’s favorite–you can rest assured!) has your support next week on Election Day. God bless all of you PUMAS, God save us from Obama and his minions, and God Bless America.

In my opinion a Harvard Educated Constitutional Lawyer who COMPLETELY MISSES THE POINT OF THE CONSTITUTION (to set limits on the power of government) HAS to be a complete Pinhead. The other possibility is that he is a sociopath (the immorality of his campaign is consistent with this) meaning that morality and self restraint regarding intrusion into the lives of others are SIMPLY NOT relevant in his MIND, which is totally focused on self aggrandizement. As we have learned since the end of the primaries, Obama’s Chicago politics go for the jugular and leave no survivors. During the primaries,I also sensed a genuine respect between Hillary Clinton and John McCain which enhanced both in my eyes. It was through Pfleger’s repulsive rant against Hillary in front of Jeremiah Wright’s congregation, that I glimpsed the true nature of Obama and the lengths he would go to bring her down. I’ve read the reports of Obama’s trained agitators in action causing disruption and chaos at caucus meetings and polling places. “Get in their faces,” indeed.

I’ve seen them do it on my Christian message forum. I didn’t know what was going on. I’d post something negative about Obama and all of a sudden there were all these new registrations and people fighting for Obama.

They had very slick words to neutralize issues that normally would have ignited fury among basic Americans. And they seemed to be ahead of the main stream media spin to present Obama in the best light. I’d read it on my forum and then hear an Obama representative say it that night on MSNBC.

Some of my moderators suggested that their might be Obama campaign members on the forum but I didn’t believe it until I read this and now it makes sense. I, too, often felt overwhelmed and asked myself if the world had “gone mad.” I felt depressed. I didn’t want to turn on the TV or even go to my own forum. But I made myself to fight Obama and support McCain. I had to force myself because these people are very good at overwhelming you and making you feel beaten.

I have never been a Hillary fan I thought she fought a good fight and that her nomination was absolutely taken from her. I am though confused how she can stand up for Obama. To me that would be like getting stabbed over and over. The DNC should pay a huge price for what they did but will as always put the blame elsewhere and go on with their deals. I saw Hillary with our troops, eating with them, conversing with them and Obama went to the gym. Politics took a great change for the worse this election and the blame should be where it is deserved…..llinois House speaker wants to help Obama by changing primary date

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — The powerful speaker of the Illinois House said Wednesday he wants to help Sen. Barack Obama’s possible presidential bid by moving up the state’s primary, figuring it will give the Democrat an early win.

Democratic Speaker Michael Madigan proposed moving the March 18 Illinois primary to Feb. 5. A long list of states have primaries scheduled that day, but only four states — Iowa, Nevada, New
Hampshire and South Carolina — would be earlier than Illinois.

“These states are not representative of mainstream America They’re clearly not as representative of America as Illinois would be,” Madigan said. “But if Barack is a candidate, recent history tells us the selection process may be finished before it reaches the Illinois primary.”

Madigan said he has not spoken to Obama nor his aides about the proposed change. He also denied any inside knowledge about whether the freshman Illinois senator has decided to run.

This was probably just the beginning.

Sean Hannity found a copy of the book, which not even the largest library in the USA had, and showed it on Hannity and Colmes tonight.

Along with Sirhan Sirhan, Ayers dedicated the book to a long list of criminals, calling them “political prisoners”.

A more recent book by Ayers is dedicated to a long list of people who have killed police officers!

“Just a guy in my neighborhood.”

P.S. Google the word Prairie and the first thing it suggests for related searches is prairie fire.

If you want to look up something that will really scare your socks off this Halloween, search for “National Industrial Recovery Act”. That was FDR’s attempt to frog-march the USA into Communism through the government taking over all the big industries. There was even a big populist propaganda campaign, the “Blue Eagle” with the letters NRA. It left out the word Industrial, I bet it wasn’t too popular with the National Rifle Association.

Well, the US Supreme Court declared NIRA unconstitutional. FDR then proceeded to work at his goal piecemeal through the creation of many of the government agencies we’re still saddled with today.

If Obama is elected, with Democrat majorities in the House and Senate- especially if they gain a super-majority in the Senate, we’ll get even more of the same crap FDR (and LBJ) created.

They should let Arnold run if he wanted to if they’re going to break the constitution. Obama has already voiced his disdain for the Constitution, he will change it if he gets in, mark my words…Isn’t it a funny coincidence that he had to go to Hawaii all the sudden for a supposed sick granny when his birth certificate transcripts are in Hawaii? hmm…how convenient for him. I just don’t understand why people are supporting him, he has ran the most dirty, lying ,cheating campaign I have ever seen in all the years I have been living, and nobody seems to care! His supporters are voting on emotion, not logic, they don’t get informed, they vote on pretty big words because they all want a fantasy world. It had a corny Oprah-ish feel to it,and probably because she gave money and her help with it….It was just plain unbelievable, corny and stupid! Campaigning in blue jeans, the common man, whatever, anyone ever want to see the house this common man lives in? he’s no more common then rockefeller is common, People are sooo stupid to vote for him, what a crock.

Odd that one would write a book about a father like that, and it helps explain why Obama doesn’t support his hut living brother or his slum living Aunt in Boston.

Obama’s campaign has been the nastiest I have ever seen (I’m 61), not only for the number of lies but mainly for Obama’s obvious contempt for freedom of speech, which the media not only ignore but also aid and abet.

The most simple explanation of “Spread the wealth around” is this…You attend a college class, study hard, do your homework, and get an A. The A is worth one point toward your GPA. The instructor tells you that he is going to take away your A (one point) and give it to another student who only got a D in class. Afterall, the instructor says, you can pass this class with a B and the other student, who didn’t pass, now has a C grade and can pass the class also. So much for your hard work.

I don’t care for either Candidate but Obama wants to disarm our Unconventional Military Assets and, no doubt more, when China is building WMD’s as fast as they can make them, along with Carriers and Nuke Subs with Ballistics; and Russia is trying to set up Bases in our Hemisphere.

As Quixotic as McCain is, he understands the other issues are a moot point if an increasingly aggressive China and Russia don’t respect our President.

Obama is frog-marching this country to communist hell with his pied-piper eloquent ramblings, and I can’t believe how many otherwise reasonably smart, patriotic Americans are about to jump into the pot. I cannot believe we live in a time when SO many blatent controversies surround a candidate so high in the polls, and our neighbors and friends seem to be completely willing to look the other way. Even worse, I never thought I’d see the day when we’d have a candidate who is not even a natural born citizen. Perhaps his refusal to produce the documents ordered by Judge Surrick is another statement of his disdain for our Constitution. Perhaps he thinks the “must be a natural born citizen” is one of those flaws.

If Obama wins I will be as down about the political scene in our society as I ever have. He is so wrong, so evil philosophically, yet has (apparently) immense popularity for no other reason than he makes a nice appearance and speaks well. What exactly is he promising that any Democrat for the last 50 years hasn’t promised? Heck, he’s not promising much of anything that McCain isn’t promising, also?

John McCain is a patriotic man, a tough man, a veteran, a politician with a reputation for standing his ground, and at various times in his career has been the darling of moderates, conservatives, and even the PRESS! In contrast, we have a smooth talking intellectual with no legislative record and a history of anti-constitutional, quasi-radical leftist beliefs.

I have never, ever been more afraid of a political candidate than I am Obama. And not for the amount of money he may take out of my paycheck if he’s able to pass his tax plan. No, I fear more for the long term prospects of him pushing us toward the sort of evil socialist society that masquerades as a benevolent, caring “democracy.”

    Don’t vote for him.

It is outright scary to see obvious signs of socialism/communism such as “obama tv” and the way Obama/Biden react to ‘tough questions’ “are you joking? who writes your questions?” Biden says.. JOE, WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DEMAND TO KNOW THE ANSWERS. THE PEOPLE YOU PRETEND YOU WANT TO SERVE. I WILL FIGHT AGAINST SOCIALISM UNTIL MY LAST BREATH. The problem is, most yong peole do not KNOW what Marxism, communism and socialism are. The schools they attended stopped teaching young people history, economic systems and differences in political philosophy three decades ago when one party (Democrats) took over the entire public K-12 and post secondary education throughout America.

WHY teach about communism if you say it is no longer a threat. Unfortunately, the words like Communism, Marxism and Socialism are not understood by a majority of people under age 40. But the MODERN root of these words is are found in the doctrines of Karl Marx and centers on redistributionism, social equalization, and complete sharing of output. The theory is that all people should work for the “common” welfare of one another.

What Marx completely missed was what his contemperary Freud completely understood, that no matter how much equality is preached, people were never really equal to one another. Every human is different. Every human has different wants, needs, drives, ambitions, skills, talents and every person makes due with those many aspects of self in ways that are personally most profitable. Humans are by nature, capitalistic. By that I mean, people who will ALWAYS seek to produce with their individual endowment of intellect, talent and ambition whatever returns to them the most internal profit, be it money, joy, quiet solitude.

Example: Perhaps the solitude of painting landscapes and countrysides is more profitable to a Van Goah, while capitalizing and building a chocolate factory to make sweets and earn income is Hershey’s ambition. Both profit in their own way. Both are actually equal by choice in ways that they have chosen and yet in monitary terms, Van Goah was poor and Hershey became wealthy. Socialism is the economic method of redistribution in Communist-Marxist systems. Socialism is simply using the bully-hand of government to at first, decide what “equality” of outcome is. So in the Socialist World view, Van Goah chooses to paint which in his day was not particularly lucrative. At the same time, Hershey made chocolate which because of oral satisfaction in an expanding market became very profitable monitarily. The socialist sees only the monitary difference as a result of some unfair advantage Hershey has over Van Goah. Then the bully government of socialism having made that determination, uses it’s overwhelming taxing power to remove from Hershey a substantial portion of his accumulated wealth and wants to give it to Van Goah, because somehow a painter deserves as much status and comfort as a man who is financially successful. It doesn’t matter that Van Goah may never produce much more than the equivalent of one other job (paint and brush makers) of social value, or that Hershey may eventually employ hundreds of thousands. Arbitrarily, the bully socialist determines that Hershy must share.

For yong people, a more simple example (and this applies to affirmative action as well), is that in the typical classroom of 20 students, perhaps there are four students that obtain A’s, 4 with B’s, 4 with C’s, 4 with D’s and four students fail completely to master a subject. They have clearly NOT mastered the material equally. But in an affirmative action setting and in a socialist state, the “A and B” students are going to be required to accept “C” grades This allows the “D and F” students to also be given credit for C’s and the enture class room is “average.” Afterall in socialism, it’s only fair that all people share in the common capital of one another, intellect being part of that system’s wealth.

But Freud pointed out correctly to Marx (who ignored him) that like the Pavlovian Dogs, people who produce without a promise of substantial reward, people who take risks, people of think inventively, simply stop putting forth the effort. In the old Soviet Union of Socialist States, the common cry of the people was, “We pretend to work and the government pretends to pay us.”

Communism, Marxism, Socialism, all of which rely on the nationalization of production and services (meaning the government takes over) always result in a stagnation of growth, cessation of innovation and a reduction in the overall quality of life. In other words, kids that use to get “A’s and B’s” simply stop trying because they are not allowed to reep the benefits of their effort over loosers. Socialism is the doctrine of loosers.

When Hillary quoted Marx (not some African Tribal Chief) saying “It takes a villiage to raise a child” she was projecting one type of socialis philosophy, that the STATE is better at making parenting decisions than YOU!. When OBAMA says he wants to redistribute the wealth, he is saying that the STATE is better at making all your financial decisions, job choices, property purchases, living quarters, perhaps even room-mate decisions for you.

Anyone that DOESN’T get this about OBAMA is lying to themselves are simply lazy and stupid, hoping that change means our try at Soviet Style Nationalization similar to what failed miserably in Russia. I advise ALL young people to watch the film, Dr, Zhivago and you just might get a glimps of what equalization and reduistribution really means.

80% of the people are always waiting around for someone to make something happen and only 20% actually do anything or ever create jobs, wealth. In Marxism, the desire to work if you are among the 20% is stifled and the ability to move out of the 80% group like Joe the Plumber hopes to, will be completely impossible.

YOUNG people will decide for either Marxism (OBAMA) or freedom. That is the real choice. But don’t kid yorself into thinking that identifying OBAMA’s plan as Socialism and Marxist is some radical right hand idea or slander. His ideas simply match the dogma all the way down the line. Remember that if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, smells like a duck, has feathers like a duck and is a bid wet on the bottom, it’s a pretty sure bet its a duck. OBAMA IS as Marxist as one can get. As such, he IS an enemy of the American Free State.

By the way, Stalin and Hitler also called for a stronger national security police force like OBAMA…. And then all they did was become the GRU(KGB eventually) and Nazi SS respectively, two forces that oppressed and murdered millions, funnuled free thinkers like Soltzenhezen to Gulags and 11 million Jews and non-conformist Poles, Slaves and Bulgers into ovens. I am not saying OBAMA is Hitler, but hes a very scary dude.

And lest anyone think these comments are fueled somhow by race – I would have voted for Condie Rice for President in a heartbeat and come from a mixed race White, Hispanic and Black) family. Its what OBAMA says, who he befriends and the ideas he espouses that makes me fear him…in him, Marx is very much alive.

What Sen. Obama is doing to a common average or even below average guy is just wrong. I just heard him at a rally say as a punch line that 99.9% of plummers make less than 250K a year. I this right? I have no problem with canadates going after each other. But go after a common citizen? One that didn’t seek him out but showed up on Joe’s lawn. Dem’s have said that “going ugly” was something they wanted to stay away from. I think this is below ugly. somewhere in the relm of Dirt Bag tactics. I had been told he was very intelligent and educated but this doesn’t show it.
It also hurts me as an American. Down deep. This tells others that buy into this that if someone does not agree with you, here is how we handle this. Talk smack about them. In public. All the time. No one wants to move to China or agrees with how they treat their citizens but isn’t this pretty close? How far does it go before we do mirror some of those countries. We are agreeing with Sen. Obama by not calling him on it. Everyone. All americans that want to be able to be free americans to speak their minds without reprisals. It is one thing to dissagree. No problem. that is what makes America great. But a Presidential canadate that mocks an ordinary citizen? Call him what he was Obama. He is a great American with a great question that may have dissagreed with my answer. and leave it at that. That is what I could have voted for.

In an argument in another forum, somebody made the comment about Warren Buffet being an advisor on the Messiah’s campaign and agreeing with his economic and financial policies. Why do you think that is? Ever stop to think that Buffet is smart enough to know that the Messiah’s policies will destroy the market, meaning that he can take complete control of it? On top of that, when the Messiah is defeated in ‘12 by what is sure to be a true Conservative candiadte, the market will bounce back, meaning he will make not billions, but TRILLIONS. John McCain spent 23 years in the military; 5 of which were in the Hanoi Hilton. Obama spent 20 years in Chicago handing out money to nefarious groups like ACORN. My mother in law,a democrat, voted for McCain. My daughter, son and daughters b/f voted early for McCain.
My liberal sister in law is going to vote for McCain while her hubby is still going for Obama.
The trend is not every democrat is going to support Obama,so the early “polls” of early democrats votings are not correct if the media claims them for O-boo-ma.We live in NC and I know McCain is in a good lead here despite what the liberal press says.

I hope you are you all aware that yesterday Democrat attorney Philip Berg filed, with the Supreme Court, an appeal of his lawsuit regarding evidence against Obama’s status as a natural-born citizen. This issue, as well, demands major coverage at all of the networks, and they are ignoring it. Citizens should be encouraged to contact their Congressmen in D.C. Tell them to petition the Supreme Court to address this case immediately. Obama must be required to prove his citizenship status. (If it is too late to do before election, then before inauguration.) Even it were to turn out that he can prove natural-born citizenship status (which I suspect he cannot), it is irresponsible that he has not yet had to go through any screening process requiring him to do so! Legislation must be enacted to implement a screening process which can assure that all potential candidates for president meet the Constitutional requirements. This is a non-partisan issue, a matter of upholding our Constitution.

The state legislatures should be contacted as well. As you are all probably aware, lawsuits have also been filed in several states, requiring that those in charge of the state election processes not place on the ballot any candidate who has not been proven to meet the Constitutional requirements. This is a reasonable mandate. (Regarding such legislation introduced by a senator in Pennsylvania, see http://www.politickerpa.com/alexroarty/2407/after-obama-mccain-rulings-state-rep-wants-presidential-candidates-prove-citizenship

Without such requirements for screening of candidates, a sham can be made of our election process process (by a candidate from any party). This issue truly is bipartisan. And if it turns out that Obama really was born in Mombasa, Kenya, as his Kenyan grandmother claims, then this election will indeed have been a sham.

So – here is the democratic party I left years ago, I didn’t think we all went crazy. It is to bad the republicans got as intoxicated on power in 1/10th the time it took for the Dems on Capitol Hill. Everyone talks about not being sheeple but what is anyone supposed to do? Waste a vote on Dr. Paul or someone else in a “splinter party”. Why aren’t my blue dogs barking!?! And it is to bad Aunt Nancy and Harry didn’t figure out our votes do count when they threw Sen. Lieberman under the bus and he retained his post! (loved that!!!) The DNC doesn’t care about us – just getting power back. We are the power, I say we prove it again on the 4th. Congress has forgotten the second word in their title is “servant”, as in public. Zanna, why do you think obama hasn’t released his donor list? I think it is because you will find foreign donations and ficticious persons but, it doesn’t matter to the media.

Hey! First post here. I found your site through a reference on Rush Limbaugh’s site. I am a 40 y/o, white male, business owner that WILL be hit by Obama’s tax increases regardless of where the eventual puff the magic income cutoff number lands. Of course, he and his yes-Obama-man Congress will let the “Bush Tax Cuts” expire in 2010 and EVERYONE’s taxes (contributions to the redistribution fund) will increase, regardless.

I, at the beginning of the primary season, didn’t really want McCain as my candidate, but compared to Obama, he’ll do I guess. At the same time, I “feared” Hillary getting the Dem nomination as I considered her to be the toughest opponent on that side of the aisle. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! At least if it were Hillary v. McCain, I wouldn’t almost literally be frightened at the prospect of a Dem election/win as I am now. We know Sen. Clinton, we’ve seen her and heard her since the early 90s. And, God as my witness, now wish that she had indeed won the Dem nomination…I don’t agree with her on lots of things, but I do not agree with Obama on anything that I’ve been able to identify. Had Sen. Clinton won the nomination, I may actually be TORN as to who to vote for this cycle. ME! A lifelong, moderately conservative person from the SOUTH!!(NC). My joke on the two that are running now is it is a Liberal (McCain) versus a Socialist. At this point, MODERATE liberalism doesn’t sound so bad…lol

So in short, I guess I should boil it down to this (as I understand this place to be Hillary supportive): Help us get Obama defeated this go round, and some of us may even cross the aisle in 2012 for Hillary if McCain doesn’t pan out after 4 years (and depending on her willingness to run again and depends on who the Reps can find to run on their ticket). We’ve seen the light, and now see what a GENUINELY LIBERAL SOCIALIST Obama is, and just “how bad” Sen. Clinton really isn’t in comparison. And I also apologize for calling Sen. Clinton and her hubby “liberal” during their rein in the 90s…as by today’s standard, if Obama is the “liberal” standard-bearer, then the Clintons are almost conservative in comparison – so again, I apologize for the decade of name-calling. Who knew what was laying in wait? I sure didn’t.

I’m a conservative but knew there had be the country loving dems that were as afraid of Obama as I am! I have said to my husband more than once I just wish Hillary had won – I might not agree with her on a lot of policies but I know she loves this country and isn’t that what it is all about! I keep donating to the McCain campaign knowing he can use all the financial help he can get – because from what I have read if all else fails Obama thinks he can buy the election with his contributions from millions of “unknown” small donors! Together we can make a difference!!

But I must admit that I was afraid that the people who previously supported Sen. Clinton were going to just blindly accept Obama. Now I see that there are at least some people who aren’t fooled by Obama’s “vote for me and I’ll make your wildest dreams come true” campaign. You have restored my hope. Thanks!

Those dastardly, draconian Bush tax cuts that will expire in 2010 if Barry the annointed one is elected, will make Everyone’s taxes go up! Even the so-called exempt middle class will be affected! Especially Married people,(remember the Marriage tax?),& the death tax? If someone in your Family passes on after 2010,the estate owes Uncle Sam 60% of it’s equity right off the top! So I thought i would ask some simple questions. I askes if she agreed with his tax policies? Yes! Why I asked. Because it’s true that wealth is to top heavy. OK I said and conversation ended. Check comes and I pay the bill. Her tip would have been $6.35 but I would have left $10.00 bill. I looked at her and said, given that you support Obama and his economic plan I am going to donate your tip to charity of your choice! Where would you like me to send it? She stood there speechless. I said that’s what his plan is all about. Spread the wealth. So give me name of charity and I will send it along. Needless to say she was very upset. Wonder if she’ll change her mind about vote.

I have tried to read as much as I could and found the blog from Sara very interesting. This is what I along with countless others have been saying. I knew the polls were stacked. It didn’t take an idiot to figure that one out. I am from Mississippi and read the blog from the guy about New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. I found that very interesting because it hits close to home. I came across something that appears on Obama’s website about Katrina. It is http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/issues/additional/Obama_FactSheet_Katrina.pdf. It says how he and Biden will help rebuild the ninth ward in New Orleans. I believe what lower dude said is true. I wouldn’t doubt anything this man tries to win this election. To make people who he claims to care for suffer like he has in that ward in New Orleans is beyond anything I have ever heard. Thanks Democrats for crossing parties to help not only McCain win but to keep Obama out. He needs to be exposed before he starts his new campaign.

Americans, save your country from OBAMA! He hates this country so much that he is going to destroy what your fore-fathers had built and fought for. He does not care for each one of you. If he does not even care for his own blood-relatives in Kenya who lives in a ’shack’ and his aunt in Chicago who lives in a ’slum; why in heavens name would he care for you? Don’t you get it? He only wants your votes to win the election so he will tell you what you want to hear. McCain already offered part of his life to his country? What did OBAMA offered? Remember the saying ‘Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are’. His circle of friends are radicals and Jew-haters. Why do you think until now he keeps his Muslim name Barack Hussien Obama even he though he was going to church for 20 years with Jeremiah Wright as the radical pastor? Because deep inside him his faith is still with Muslim religion. He only calls himself a Christian because majority of Americans are still Christians. And he already knows that is the only way he can penetrate the highest office in the USA. Becoming a Christian is his facade.

This has been an interesting year. At first I was pretty sure Dems would choose HC and was afraid she would continue with policies that are now giving us so many troubles. Then shock that they would choose over her someone who is so obviously anti-American and Anti-Christ and who was in league with those running the policies that has lead us to such disaster. Though I respect McCain’s service, I didn’t feel that he was right for our highest office, and now almost wish that HC was running, as I fear what O-bomb will do to our freedom and our pursuits of happiness. My vote is going to be for Ms.P as she is the only person running for office that I feel enough confidence for such a high office. It is too bad that she will only be VP, but hopefully she will make her mark while in that office. Then, in 2012, just imagine a race with MC and Ms.P. That truly will be an interesting race and one I can’t wait to see!

I live in Canada, but consider the USA to be the greatest nation of our time. Her positive impact on the world in such a short history is remarkable. Yes America has flaws – no nation is without them – but your story is far from written.
I follow US politics in great detail. Yes, this election is a watershed. A far left Democratic President and Congress is a frightening proposition.
But my issue is with your liberal media. Too much to cover here, let me say that having just watched a segment on A.Cooper 360 on racisism and election rigging (by Republicans) I implore all rational Americans to ACT now. Mainstream broadcast “news”, dailies, and magazines are simply tearing your nation apart. Please, this is no over-statement. The 24/7 deluge of devisive, insidious and, frankly, anti-American content is deliberate and dangerous.
It goes well beyond the disgusting trashing of Hillary, Palin, Joe etc. I wish I could explain more, but simply please think about this and begin to fashion a defense. Have no doubt, your liberties are at stake.

Is your job precious to you? Then you better protect those kids, unless you want to train to be something else in life. Hillary, I am deeply troubled by the way the Obama campaign has been run, and how the primaries led to a nomination by Obama. I certainly don’t see you and your husband as racist, or your campaigners. For such a historic nominee, he has disappointed me far more than I could have dreamed in his demeanor, actions, and words.

The Constitution is flawed? We have a man running for president who thinks the greatest political document in the history of mankind is flawed?
He is thinking we are going to elect HIM to uphold it? I don’t think so. This nation is the GREATEST nation the world has ever known; and the most caring, and benevolent.

One of Obama’s buddy dedicates his book to the man who assassinated Robert Kennedy? Sirhan Sirhan? WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE! WAKE UP PEOPLE!
I am NOT making that up. I honestly wish I was……
What are we going to learn next about this man?

He will lose, as Americans know he is not going to fill up their bellies and gas tanks as his supporters think he will.
(Maybe he will give them a rice cooker like Castro did for his people in Cuba)

In case you have not noticed the price of gas is so low it is also scary at this moment!
From what I see, the majority of us don’t need our bellies filled up anyway!

We are WAY too fat, wealthy and lazy! Those are the flaws we must work on, not changing the very fabric of what has made our nation the most prosperous and free nation ever to exist.

Love your country, and ask what YOU can do for your country. Not what you country can do for you!

America is smelling the stink now, and the bloom is off the rose for Obama.
It is not about the excitement of improving race relations in this country. This man has SET US BACK 40 years with his inane hateful rhetoric, and the hateful rhetoric of his associates.
Tell Obama to give a couple of bucks to his illegal immigrant Aunt instead of getting campaign contributions from her.

Did you know that a minimum wage clerk at CVS has to prove citizenship before he can be hired yet Nobama arrogantly dismisses repeated requests for proof of citizenship even under lawsuits. I can’t open a checking account without proof of citizenship but Oprah thinks this guy should lead the greatest, wealthiest and most powerful nation on earth according to his whim. This country got this powerful and successful from the efforts of very smart, very had working people not from fat, lazy corrupt middle eastern “princes” who just waited for the oil to gush out of their backyard. They didn’t even invent the products that the oil is used for nor how to get it out of the ground or ship it, Americans did!

Do you want to elect an idiot with fancy clothes who could not be hired at CVS since he cannot provide proof of citizenship and who believes the wisdom of the founding fathers should be “changed” and who, for God’s sake, is promoted by Oprah? A dork who hasn’t had a steady job since birth yet can afford Harvard with no noticeable means of support? Do you want a president who spends over $700,000 on his self promoting trip to Germany when Germans can’t even vote for this moron? He spent over $16,000 on limos alone in Germany! He also spent over $750,000 for those self aggrndizing Greek columns just on one speech! Imagine what self aggrandizing he can do if you send this incompetent fool to the White House and let him have his hands on the American Treasury at his command! Is this Presidential material? Seriously, wake up people.

I know I will not be voting for Che Obama but I also found out just how self serving and racist Oprah is so some good has come of it. How can anyone make this woman a billionaire while she shoves the One down our throats and refuses to have Palin on “until after the elections!” What are you afraid of Oprah, the truth about Nobama or that Palin would give you the highest ratings ever? I hope Palin never gives Oprah the chance to make her richer by appearing on her racist show. Why don’t you grill Nobama over all his lies, his shady past, his finances when he had no visible means of support and the half a billion dollars that could not have come from all the little people with untraceable credit cards, his partying with terrorists and lack of citizenship like you grilled that author who lied about his life, Oprah, you big phony? Maybe “after the election” you can give Osama bin Obama a job in your mail room…oh, wait, he would have to provide proof of citizenship to get that job, or will you be breaking the law, Oprah?

I just checked out AC 360 as mentioned by Peter (# 139) from Canada. All you have to do is read the headlines. We are getting hosed by the MSM and not holding them accountable. We, D’s, R’s & I’s are having Obama and his ilk rammed down our throats 24/7!
    We can do something NOW!
Email the LA Times at letters@latimes.com and tell them they are supposed to be watch dogs not lap dogs! Release that tape BEFORE Tuesday and save what little credibility they have left.
With their readership dwindling, they can still do the right thing and let us make an informed decision. I would like the opportunity to think for myself, hear/see the tape and make my own decision.
It’s a no brainer, either way the election goes, the Times will have done the right thing and just maybe gained back some cred and saved their paper from becoming a defunct liberal rag.
Don’t let them get away with it……….email them and spread the word!
    Thanks, I feel better ;-)

I never heard of that website nor will I go to it as it’s probably another Nobama decoy site. If Obama had a real birth certificate then he should have produced it in the court of law where he is being sued instead of having his highly paid lawyers stonewall the court! He could also notify Hawaii that he will grant access to his birth certificate which is not the same as a certificate of birth to be examined by experts.

Why would his own grandmother and a bunch of his other Kenyan relatives lie and state that they witnessed his birth in Kenya? Why did Obama state “my muslim faith” on Stephanapolis’ show? Who paid for Obama’s education and why won’t he release his school records? Why won;t he release Michelle Obama picture with Mrs. Louis Farrakahn? Why did it take Nobama 20 years to realize his minister whom he has credited for shaping his world view, was a racist idiot who damns America and glorifies Farrakhan yet lives high on the hog on American soil? How did Obama get such a sweetheart deal on his $1.65 million mansion from his arab terrorist supporting, convicted felon friend who also bought the lot next to him? Why and how did Nobama finance his trip to Pakistan when he was a youth, coming form a poor family and all?

These are legitimate and serious questions and if any of this tremendous amount of questionable behavior was coming from McCain, the media would have been all over it and he would have been hounded out of office. Come to think of it, why doesn’t the media report on how Obama stole the Illinois election by wrongly disqualifying his opponents rather than running a legitimate campaign and why would palestinian terrorist supporters and William Ayers, who once told “teenagers to kill their parents” for the revolution, finance his senate seat? The list of truly evil things this obama has done in such a short time is mind boggling. It’s like he runs his campaign from the Scientology, Hugo Chavez and Hamas handbooks, just deny everything, say you are for the common man, ruin the common man through innuendo if he disagrees with you, reword anything questionable until you get your foot in the door and then “change” a 300 year Constitution that has amazed and impressed the world over in it’s beauty, generosity towards it’s citizens and wisdom.

When you can back a procedure to make it legal such as third term abortion, you are killing a living baby. The head is the only part not delivered, and the dr takes a siccors and cuts the spinal cord and the baby goes lymp and dies. This IS LEGAL, this is the UGLIER part of CHOICE.
CHOICE is a prettied up word for MURDER.
Dems back abortion, abortion kills children, children are our future, and if we kill our future, what else are we capable of doing! VOTE FOR JOHN MCCAIN.
He has respect for Hillary and you do yourselves no favor by voting for “B”
I read what the other reader/writer to this blog said and let me help let it resonate with you: “B”’s associations are important:
they prove a pattern, and a past, which leads us correctly to what he will do in the future. I just read what 146 said and if we put someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, in Washington D.C. it better be someone who has country first, and fought for his country. I just read in Rush about “B”’s aunt who is in our USA illegally, and why are we just hearing about this now. My great grandfather came from POLAND and before he came here, there had to be someone here that would vouch for him, he had to have a job, and place to live waiting for him, he had to speak the language, and he had to be in fine health. Now we just let anyone in it seems, its who you know now, not what you know, or that you know what law says you should. It’s amazing, that this country would elect someone with charisma, over someone with military and government ability and knowledge. It is amazing that this country is so willing to fill in x number of voter registration forms with their ssn on it just to get their candidate in the W.H. And I read that there will be blood shed if B.O. doesnt get it. That sounds as scarry as it is childish. By the way “B” if you call yourself a CHRISTIAN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIING ALLYING YOURSELF WITH THE ABORTION CHILD KILLING CROWD and hanging around people who dedicate books to those who kill the JFK’s brother. Wake up TED, you backed the WRONG GUY!!!!!!

Very cool site. I’m so glad to see that there are Hillary supporters who are against Nobama.

About Nobama’s heritage, I received an email about his heritage and it says he is NOT African-American, but IS Arab-American. I’ve tried to substantiate this. Does anyone know if this is true? That he is NOT half-black like most of the country thinks he is? And if he isn’t half-black, why doesn’t the media report this????

Also, I keep informed about campaign finances and know that Nobama has had twice as much money as McCain in this campaign. As of Ocotober 27, the FEC reports that they each have about $66 million left in the bank to spend. Today, my wife got an email from the Nobama camp saying they need more money because McCain is going to spend $10 million more than them in advertising before Tuesday! How ridiculous for them to plead for more money from their supporters!!!

Question: Is Nobama really Arab-American and NOT African-American? If so, why haven’t we heard more about this? (as if I need an answer)

Also, I keep informed on campaign finances thru the FEC and the last reporting date, October 27, shows that Nobama has raised twice as much funds as McCain. But right now they each have about $66 million left in the bank. Today my wife got an email from the Nobama camp asking everyone for more money, because (they said) McCain is going to spend $10 million more than them on advertising before Tuesday. Thank you for this great site. I think Hillary was cheated out of the nomination. Sarah Palin speaks very well of her.
I am in Canton, Ohio and there was a giant Victory Rally today (Sunday) with Sarah Palin and the site which is next to the Football Hall of Fame was packed with nowhere to park for blocks. Obama was here recently and had a crowd of only 4,500. The recent rally with both McCain and Sarah Palin had 15,000. Sadly, I couldn’t park anywhere near to go inside, but parked on the side by the Hall of Fame so I could see them leave. Hoped I could at least wave. Heard her speech on the radio and it was great! Enormous enthusiasm here.
This is a Democratic area which elects Repoblican Congressmen and I hope they will do it again.
Don’t pay attention to the polls such as Gallup. They aren’t correctly weighted. Also,in order for polls to be right, the people have to be telling the truth and I don’t think a lot of them are.
Good news in today’s Pew poll.
Dig through the expanded results and you find
,,,among voters who plan to vote on Election Day
    46 McCain
    45 Obama
Obama always polls higher then his final result. Look how Hillary beat him in Pennsylvania.
I think the Obama quotes which came out today about “bankrupting the coal industry” and his plan “skyrocketing electric costs” are going to swing a number of States if the word can be gotten out. The Republicans now have enough money for a huge ad buy. Hope they can get ads out on this.
Much of our elecricity in Ohio comes from coal and it is already quite clean. The coal companies here are quite environmentally careful.
Hang in there people. Spread the word. Vote and get everyone you know to vote. If you can, be a poll watcher. Think positively. We will gather here Tuesday to celebrate a McCain, Palin win.

I will vote for the integrity, experience, wisdom, dedication, character, and the servant heart of John McCain (he has longevity in his blood line look at his mother), over the youth and the LACK of experience, LACK of judgment, and LACK of character of Obama, any day! I think that Republican DR. Martin Luther King Jr’s Dream would be realized if Obama would NOT be elected on the ‘Content of his character.’ Obama is the one who has made this about race. Obama has too much of a shady past.

McCain-Palin is who we need-character, honesty, integrity, and a dedication to service to their country. They are both proven! NEED I SAY MORE?

I do feel very, very confident in Palin because of her grounding in faith of God and relying on God for knowledge. What better master to rely on; the creator of the universe.
Yes, I think she is more qualified than Obama or Biden, since she has been a governor of a state and has as much experience as other governors that have been elected as president of the U.S. such as Clinton and Carter.

I could see thru Clinton (he was like a used car salesman), that is the same way I feel about Obama, he’ll tell you ANNYTHING to get elected.
McCain and Palin are real and sincere, people who them say they are the same 24X7. I don’t think that Palin will try to interject her religion, she recognizes that the foundation of this country is freedom of religion. My comfort with her is her foundation is with the creator of the universe and His knowledge not man’s limited knowledge and existence.

Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago?

Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago ; 221 killed in Iraq .

Senators. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin,
    Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.,

    Illinois Gov. Rod Blogojevich,

    Illinois House leader Mike Madigan,

Illinois Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),

Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)

…..our leadership in Illinois …..all Democrats.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago.

Of course, they’re all blaming each other.

    Can’t blame Republicans; they’re aren’t any!

State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.

Cook County (Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country.

(Look ‘em up if you want).

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois .

And he’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics for us!

If Obama becomes President, he could theoretically pardon Rezco who some say had a hand in paying his tuition to law school.

Blogojavitch, our wonderfully corrupt Governor who uses $5,000 a week of taxpayer funds to travel to Springfield to work instead of living there gets to appoint the next Senator to fill Obama’s spot. He could appoint himself, by our Constitution that is so vague on so much.

    Ultimate power corrupts ultimately.

This has been circulating in the email lists, thought I’d post it here too.

    Wonderful essay. Please read

Ego and Mouth by Thomas Sowell 10/31/08

After the big gamble on subprime mortgages that led to the current financial crisis, is there going to be an even bigger gamble, by putting the fate of a nation in the hands of a man whose only qualifications are ego and mouth?

Barack Obama has the kind of cocksure confidence that can only be achieved by not achieving anything else.

Anyone who has actually had to take responsibility for consequences by running any kind of enterprise– whether economic or academic, or even just managing a sports team– is likely at some point to be chastened by either the setbacks brought on by his own mistakes or by seeing his successes followed by negative consequences that he never anticipated.

The kind of self-righteous self-confidence that has become Obama’s trademark is usually found in sophomores in Ivy League colleges– very bright and articulate students, utterly untempered by experience in real world.

The signs of Barack Obama’s self-centered immaturity are painfully obvious, though ignored by true believers who have poured their hopes into him, and by the media who just want the symbolism and the ideology that Obama represents.

The triumphal tour of world capitals and photo-op meetings with world leaders by someone who, after all, was still merely a candidate, is just one sign of this self-centered immaturity.

“This is our time!” he proclaimed. And “I will change the world.” But ultimately this election is not about him, but about the fate of this nation, at a time of both domestic and international peril, with a major financial crisis still unresolved and a nuclear Iran looming on the horizon.

For someone who has actually accomplished nothing to blithely talk about taking away what has been earned by those who have accomplished something, and give it to whomever he chooses in the name of “spreading the wealth,” is the kind of casual arrogance that has led to many economic catastrophes in many countries.

The equally casual ease with which Barack Obama has talked about appointing judges on the basis of their empathies with various segments of the population makes a mockery of the very concept of law.

After this man has wrecked the economy and destroyed constitutional law with his judicial appointments, what can he do for an encore? He can cripple the military and gamble America’s future on his ability to sit down with enemy nations and talk them out of causing trouble.

Senator Obama’s running mate, Senator Joe Biden, has for years shown the same easy-way-out mindset. Senator Biden has for decades opposed strengthening our military forces. In 1991, Biden urged relying on sanctions to get Saddam Hussein’s troops out of Kuwait, instead of military force, despite the demonstrated futility of sanctions as a means of undoing an invasion.

People who think Governor Sarah Palin didn’t handle some “gotcha” questions well in a couple of interviews show no interest in how she compares to the Democrats’ Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Biden.

Joe Biden is much more of the kind of politician the mainstream media like. Not only is he a liberal’s liberal, he answers questions far more glibly than Governor Palin– grossly inaccurately in many cases, but glibly.

Moreover, this is a long-standing pattern with Biden. When he was running for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination back in 1987, someone in the audience asked him what law school he attended and how well he did.

Flashing his special phony smile, Biden said, “I think I have a much higher IQ than you do.” He added, “I went to law school on a full academic scholarship” and “ended up in the top half” of the class.

But Biden did not have a full academic scholarship. Newsweek reported: “He went on a half scholarship based on need. He didn’t finish in the ‘top half’ of his class. He was 76th out of 85.”

Add to Obama and Biden House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and you have all the ingredients for a historic meltdown. Let us not forget that the Roman Empire did decline and fall, blighting the lives of millions for centuries.
