Is there any documentation to support this? Who are the parties to the contract?
I’m not voicing skepticism, I’m wondering who pays for Zogby’s polling.

In the case of Zogby, his current polling is in conjunction with Reuters (news agency) and C-SPAN (financed by a consortium of cable news companies).

This is heartening information, but none of this really matters. The MOST IMPORTANT THING any of us can do in this whole election is get out and VOTE!!! The opposition will try to discourage our vote with the polling info. If the polls show BO is ahead, some will say it’s hopeless and just stay at home. If the polls show McCain is ahead, some will say that’s cool and he doesn’t need my vote so I’ll just stay at home. DON’T JUST STAY AT HOME no matter what the polls say!! You have to get out and make your vote count–wake up all you Eeyores–YOU HAVE TO VOTE!

I am part of the Zogby polling group here in Illinois. I would be in the group designated as a Democrat. I put Hillary as my Presidential choice until she dropped out and then chose undecided. The last poll that Zogby sent me I switched to McCain. For the first time in years of participating in polling for them, I received a call from Zogby wanting to verify my vote in that poll. I found that really interesting. Not sure what it means. I secretly was hoping maybe Obama was dropping in the polls here in Illinois but probably not.

Dear Hillbuzz,
Hotair.com has a great link up today. It’s called the comprehensive cast against Barack Obama. A much read/watch.

Contractually obligated? In their contract with Satan? Or the Trilateral Commission? Or with “The Man”?
Too bad there isn’t another community shindig so we can get some clarification on this alleged news. So that was when the difference in the Zogby numbers was 2 points, now it’s 8 points. I wonder what riveting explanation you conspiracy wingnuts have for that. Is it still a tie?

I would be surprised if Zogby calls the same group of people (i.e. Karen, post #4 above) — reputable tracking polls are supposed to be random. Contacting the same people for feedback is a focus group technique.

[...] AP presidential poll: Race tightens in final weeks. Polls. Can you believe them when they keep swinging like the grandfather clock pendulum? More importantly, can you believe them after you see this report that puts the pres race neck and neck when others claim double digit differences? Just like Hillbuz says. Hey Eeyores: even more on why polls are skewed. They are contractually REQUIRED to be skewed. [...]
