We are so proud to be Americans today. So proud of John McCain for making this choice. So proud of Sarah Palin for having the guts to face the sexism and misogyny we know SoetorObama is going to fling at her — just as he did to Hillary Clinton.
ONLY THIS TIME, the candidate who will be attacked by SoetorObama in such vulgar terms will actually have a political party behind her who will FIGHT BACK and not allow David Axelrod and his own special Frankenstein to get away with that garbage again.

At least I know now, who I am voting for..I think she is a good pick..
August 29, 2008 at 2:49 pm
I think she is great, she has created a buzz with the media, bigger than Barack Obama ever had. And she stole the spot light away from him after his long speech filled with rhetoric, empty promises and lies Obama delivered from his Temple.
She is a real American woman who people can relate to, and has fought against corruption, unlike some politicians who Buy houses $300,000 below the market Value, or sell Mansions to credit card companies for twice the market value (eg, Obama and Biden). Obama pick boring old Biden, McCain has out done Obama’s pick big time.
And now Obama is saying she is inexperienced, that is rich coming from a Senator who ran for President after only one year in the Senate. She has proven her self, over 80% of people think she is doing a good job compared to the Congressional approval ratings of Obama and Pelosi of 9%.

I will definitely be voting for McCain-Palin! Not necessarily because I support all their views but because we must save our great nation from the Obamanation and all that would come with that (very scary)! I have realized that any other vote is a vote for SoetorObama, and that is a direct assault on our liberties and freedoms.

*McCain/Palin 08′*
Yep, this certainly makes my choice a lot easier!
Senator McCain is a Class act!!
No Greek Temple could outshine McCain today!
Love the sign on the first video @ about 2:56 minute of someone with a “Hillary Supporters 4 McCain!”
August 29, 2008 at 4:10 pm
Wow. She is a natural talent and leader. Amazing performance. I think Obama and Biden are probably huddled in a dark room together crying.
August 29, 2008 at 4:30 pm
As a democrat I would love to see a democratic White House but with Obama as our only choice, I cannot go there this time. His connections to the Chicago machine are way too deep and nasty for me to even consider allowing him on the porch of the White House, let alone in the Oval Office.
Palin was a brilliant McCain VP choice. Just brillant.
Jack Cafferty was at his vile best again today on CNN, essentially saying that since McCain has one foot in the grave why would we want someone without experience as a VP? The common phrase now used by the Obama-media is “she would be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.” It is better to have Palin be heartbeat away from the presidency than having Obama be the heart attack sitting in our nations capital as president.

Below is Obama’s first reaction to Palin announcement, in Politico. Can’t really make out what Barry is mumbling about..
OBAMA DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM “HAIR TRIGGER” CAMPAIGN CRITICISM
At a stop in Monaca, Pa., Barack Obama seemed to distance himself from his campaign’s first, harshly critical response to the Palin pick.
“I think that, uh, you know, campaigns start getting these, uh, hair triggers and, uh, the statement that Joe and I put out reflects our sentiments,” he said, according to the pool report, apparently criticizing his staff for going overboard, as he did occasionally in the primary.
He was referring to a more gracious statement of congratulations he issued later with Biden, which he then reiterated.
“I haven’t met her before. She seems like a compelling person … with a terrific personal story.
“I’m sure that she will help make the case for Republicans, unfortunately the case is more of the same, and so ultimately John McCain is at the top of the ticket.”
“He wants to take the country in the wrong direction, I’m assuming Gov. Palin agrees with him and his policies,” he said.
“But the fact that she … will soon be nominated … is one more indicator of this country moving forward … one more hit against that glass ceiling. I congratulate her and look forward to a vigorous debate.”
“I’m pleased with my choice for vice president, Joe Biden. I think he’s the man who can help me guide this country in a better direction and help working families.”
Biden chimed in: “I’m looking forward to meeting her.”

There is absolute panic in the minds of the Kool-Aid set today. You can hear it in their hysterical reactions to Sarah Palin all across the MSM. Not to mention the initial Team Obama response, which insulted small-town Americans first and older Americans second by its sarcastic reference to John McCain’s birthday. Add them all to Donkey Brassiere’s list of folk the Dems don’t need, I guess. Most of them are probably people who believe actions speaker louder than words, too. Hicks. Fools. Oldsters. Women…

I just love that line “…Axelrod and his own special Frankenstein…” Haha. All stitched together with hope and hooha.
August 29, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Are you people serious? You’ll vote for an anti-choice, anti-environment, anti-evolution, gun-crazy radical right winger (and self-described “anti=feminist,” simply because you want a woman, any woman — regardless of her views — to get in before a black man? Is that the depths to which we’ve fallen? If McCain/Palin wins, there’ll be no roe v. wade in a year’s time. Not to mention the damage to the enviornment, etc.

Dear Dstrauss:
The short answer is yep.
August 29, 2008 at 9:46 pm
I suppose its better than a lying, manipulative, power mad, DL closet case, gay baiting, foreign born, smug, anti white junior barrister – regardless of who is backing him. There will be row, row , row your boat for the jews to leave Israel in a year’s time. etc. Chew on that.

robert c — you reveal a lot about yourself. “Foreign born?” “Anti-white?” Is this the Rush Limbaugh show?
and rubyrubyruby (et. al.): does identity politics trump self-interest? With one more Republican Justice, the Supreme Court willtake away women’s reproductive rights for a generation.
Ms. Palin stands for everything Hillary Clinton fights against: Palin is a creationist, anti-choice, anti-environmental, war-mongering gun zealot.
I’d have thought that time would have burned away some of the emotional cloud cover, giving a sense of seeing farther, opening the horizons. I guess not. This woman is the anti-Hillary, nd a cynical, transparent, insulting choice by McCain. He’s saying: “These suckers will vote for ANY woman, no matter what.” Will you?

to distrauss….what planet do you come from? with the democrats acting so poorly..you must be afraid of something. could it be the MCCain/Palin ticket? Haven’t we been instilled with fear about Roe/Wade long enough? realize..nothing has changed even with a repub. in office.
August 30, 2008 at 10:56 am
Dear Dstrauss
Its not identity politics…its breaking down a psychological barrier that will help my sisters, daughters, nieces…I understand what Gov. Palin symbolizes to you but please understand all of your issues pale in comparison to what she symbolizes to me…she is part of the female perspective and experience…and in my lifetime that perspective and experience has been lacking at the very top levels of politics…I want to be included and you cannot scare me Roe v Wade, you cannot scare me with fear mongering…women make up 52% of the electorate and we are ready to assert our power…I have a feeling you are the one who is afraid!

Hey Dr. Nice Mis-diagnosis! I would avoid your couch or office for obvious and inevitable malpractice. A long time left wing gay radical here who sees through Obama with piercing vision. Was he born in Hawaii or Vancouver? Ever read Michele’s senior thesis? Any truth to the Larry Sinclair stories? What is in the Annenberg files? What constitutes enough experience to be president?
I guess its Ok to vote anyone into the presidency who has years of sitting on their asses in the senate accomplishing nothing. Alaska has a population of 680,000+ by the last census. That is several hundred thousand more than most of the fortune 500 companies. Carly Fiorino was being considered and HP only has 450,000 employees. So really what exactly is the criteria to be president? Executive experience? A history in Washington? No history anywhere? Years of avoiding actually voting on controversial issues? Being Cheney and occupying the office for 8 years while bleeding the country dry? Teddy’s blessings? Oprah’s blessings?
Looking like a buffed up facsimile of ET? Managing to address 38 million people and saying absolutely nothing constructive? At this point I think their should be a presidential lottery. Every giant tit who can bleed milk to succour the great national bassinet of fools would have their name dropped into George Washington’s inverted tricorne to be drawn by an armed session of the supreme court hucking louies at each other while the winner’s name is announced unceremoniously from the steps of the real national Greek temple. The question is, “are we too far gone already to even have a working government’?
August 30, 2008 at 6:12 pm
Dear Dstressed.
The woman angle is overplayed. There are plenty of men who supported Hill, who will now vote McCain/Palin. Also, it really does not matter how Palin plays in CA, NY, MA. The electoral votes in virtually all the states are already accounted for. It matters how she plays in battlegrounds of MI, OH, MO, and PA. In those Middle America states, small town voters, suburban moms, big city blue collar voters, they will love Palin.
And one final point that Obots never get. Barry and the DNC cheated in 2008. We are pulling McCain/Palin in 2008, so Hillary gets a fair run in 2012.
August 31, 2008 at 12:29 am
If Mccain/Palin is elected this country will get what it deserves. MAybe Mccain wants his election paid for and he was paid by the Dems to choose her knowing he’s get clobbered…That’s the only reason he would pick this idiot.
August 31, 2008 at 12:28 pm
Actually its the BooBoo Boy who is on crack. And if the stories out of Chicago are true, and I think they are, you can still sniff the whiff of it on his breath. ……and what is the reason the the Dems picked the idiot they picked? Experience? Chicago connections? Good ole boy network? Donna Brazile gives good…..attitude? Choke. Wake up. There really isn’t a scintilla of difference between the parties. When the rubber hits the road they are all a bunch of pick pockets.
