Obama? Soetoro? Will the real one please stand up.

We’re thinking aloud on this one, so feel free to explore the ramifications of this for yourself, but if it’s true that Obama’s name is actually “Barry Soetoro”, as it increasingly seems (and as it’s recorded on his birth certificate), then any time he’s been listed on a ballot as “Barack Obama” has been a fraud, and those results should be disqualified.

We know someone here whose last name was spelled wrong on a ballot once: let’s say his name was Shannon, when it was printed on the ballot as Shanon, in a clerical mistake this person’s campaign did not catch in time. All votes for “Shannon” were null and void because the public voted for “Shanon”, when that was not the name on this person’s birth certificate. He did not win the election, but was not allowed to even have his votes counted and certified because the board of elections said “Shanon” and “Shannon” were not the same person in the eyes of election law. And we are talking about one “n” in those two names making all the difference: just one letter.

And the state we are talking about is Illinois, where “Shannon” was disqualified for being listed as “Shanon” on a ballot.

“Barry Soetoro” and “Barack Obama” deviate from one another after the “BAR”, leaving 9 letters different between the two. That’s a whole lot more cofusing to voters than “Shannon” and “Shanon”.

We’re not lawyers, but wonder if there has ever been precedent for a sitting United States Senator to be removed from office for appearing under one name, while his birth certificate showed a completely different name.

If appearing on a ballot under a name different from your legal name disqualifies someone from office, then Obama/Soetoro would not only lose the votes cast for him in the Democratic primaries, but would also lose his Senate seat in Illinois, since those votes were cast for a “Barack Obama”, when in fact the man calling himself “Barack Obama” is legally “Barry Soetoro”.

The implications for all of this are diverse and profound.

And they deserve immediate research and analysis. We know there is someone out there reading this who can look into a matter like this — especially concerning election law in the state of Illinois. If Obama/Soetoro misrepresented himself in 2004 on the ballot for election to the Senate, then he committed an act of voter fraud that should remove him from office immediately.

For the sake of argument, what’s to stop anyone from putting him or herself on a ballot somewhere, under another name, for whatever reason? You move into a new state and assume whatever name you want, without legally changing your name through the proper channels. Some people might do this for malicious reasons — hiding from a past, trying to pull a scam, etc. We’re sure that’s not why Obama/Soetoro started using a name different than the one on his birth certificate, but we don’t know why he won’t release his birth certificate and explain fully to the electorate why he has used a different name for the majority of his adult life.

When exactly did Barry Soetoro start calling himself Barack Obama, and why didn’t he go through the proper legal steps to change his name?

And, if he DID in fact legally change his name, why hasn’t he disclosed this?

Former President Gerald Ford was born “Leslie Lynch King Jr.”, but his parents changed his name when he was adopted by his stepfather. Ford went by “Gerald Ford” for the rest of his life, but never failed to be upfront about being born “Leslie Lynch King Jr.”.

Obama’s situation is more complex, because he was born under one name (which we assume is either Barry Dunham or Barack Hussein Obama II), but had his name changed when he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro as a child (when the new birth certificate was issued) — then he began calling himself “Barack Obama” sometime as either a teenager or a young adult man (when he possibly could have legally changed his name from Barry Soetoro to Barack Hussein Obama).

It’s that last part — whether or not he ever legally changed his name from Barry Soetoro to Barack Hussein Obama — that is at the crux of whether or not he knowingly committed election fraud.

Can anyone check to see if Barry Soetoro ever legally changed his name to Barack Obama?
