Wow, this is truly stunning. Nancy Pelosi has sold just 2,737 copies of her terrible, terrible book. This is one of the worst sales showings, ever, by a terrible person who has written an equally terrible book. We believe Saddam Hussein sold more copies of those crazy romance novels he used to write about harem girls and their king. Nancy Pelosi is, thus, a worse writer than Saddam Hussein, and possibly even worse than Frankenstein.
According to Drudge:
Pelosi’s sales debacle [#41 on the Non-Fiction Chart] is dramatically overshadowed by the first high profile anti-Obama book, OBAMA NATION, which debuts at #1 on both the BOOKSCAN and the NEW YORK TIMES Bestseller List, with 21,466 copies moved, industry insiders tell DRUDGE.
Pelosi’s office claims the Speaker was preoccupied with trying to stop a vote on offshore oil drilling that would make America less dependent on foreign fuel sources, and that’s why she couldn’t sell more books.
But, the launch of this book was heavily promoted, with lots of airtime on all the networks and a big push by the publisher.
Maybe Americans just don’t like Nancy Pelosi, because she hasn’t accomplished anything since she’s been Speaker, and has proven herself to be nothing more than a lot of hot air.
No surprise Pelosi backed Obama from the beginning, is it?
UPDATE: Here are more reviews of this terrible, terrible book. Basically, they say it’s a barrel of skunk juice, without being so kind, or colorful. They also call it “assy” — a lot – whatever that means.
UPDATE #2: Looks like Amazon is censoring reviews of Nancy Pelosi’s terrible, terrible book, dubbed “a crapfest” by over 500 reviewers. So, Amazon.com just dumped all those negative reviews. But, then people reposted more. As the Obama campaign and the mainstream media are learning, suppressing people’s voice doesn’t make those people shut up and fall in line and buy a load of crap. Not on Amazon, not on November 4th.
UPDATE #3: Pelosi’s book sales are now at 2,736…someone just returned one. Because it is so terrible.
